Hexz_03 Ive been going here for a couple years, They replaced my clutch and brakes on my 2013 Civic SI. This Auto Repair shop is amazing.

Herbert Gaidus I rarely leave reviews, and Vaughn doesnt really need another 5 star rating, but Ill give him one anyway. Ive been fixing my own vehicles for over 50 years since I did my first transmission swap at age 17 on a 70 Volkswagen Beetle. Basically, I could never find an honest mechanic who I trusted to do the job as well as I could, and who would charge a fair price for the effort. Finally with Auto Japan, and Oakmont Garage I dont have to pick up a wrench again, and can rest assured that the job will be done correctly. Vaughn is an expert mechanic, who wont try to upsell you on additional maintenance jobs. In fact, quite the opposite, as he has repeatedly suggested postponing some maintenance work until it was actually necessary. I found the pricing reasonable and will continue to have my 4Runner serviced at Auto Japan in the future. Highly recommended!

Thomas Rodriguez My F-250 had a loud squealing noise that I couldn’t figure out. The mechanic came out, diagnosed a worn belt tensioner, and replaced it same day. Truck’s been quiet since.

Jeremy Montanez-Rogers The guy is noble and does great work. He doesn’t cut corners or promote “shade tree mechanic” work ethics. I’m definitely a repeat customer! Good mechanics are hard to find.

Katrina Smith The customer service was amazing. I called on Wednesday, they got me in on Thursday when I didn’t know what was going on. That was followed by a great experience at the facility. Terry was kind and efficient, the technology they use to send quotes is transparent and easy to navigate. They were able to fix my car same day and are reasonably priced. Absolutely would recommend and they will be receiving my business again.

Kaytlyn Becker Jorge is the best! My boyfriend took our car to Valvoline to get a taillight changed, and when we got the car back the check engine light turned on. They said they had changed our oil and transmission fluid (even though my boyfriend had gotten that done a week prior). I immediately thought that they messed with something under the hood to get more money out of repairs. Jorge was able to take me in on short notice and he was able to figure out the problem. He asked my boyfriend if anyone else had worked on the car as there was tubes disconnected! Thank you Jorge for being an honest and kind mechanic. We will return to you in the future!

Jeff Silva Fixed a sunroof for 50 bucks. Give me an estimate of 160 for an hours work and when I got there the bill was only $56. Good, honest and very reasonable. Will use again

Rafael R I recently went on a road trip far away from home in my VW Tiguan, and unfortunately ran into some car troubles. Luckily, I found this amazing mechanic who specializes in VW cars. He was an absolute lifesaver! He helped me quickly identify the problem and made the necessary repairs efficiently. What really impressed me was his attention to detail and commitment to ensuring that my car was functioning properly before I hit the road again. He took the time to explain the issue and what he was doing to fix it, which I really appreciated. Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better experience with this mechanic. mmmrclean I was looking for a mobile mechanic to do a used car inspection for me as I was buying out of state, I called around to a couple with no answer from any and Dave called me back within 5 minutes and put me on his schedule. I work at a dealership and am quite mechanical so I am aware of any bs someone could make up about a car and can confirm he knows what he is talking about, he was extremely straight forward, and extremely detailed with everything. He explained everything on the phone in detail with what he found, his personal thoughts on the car, and also sent a ton of photos of all around the car and under. Long story short I flew out to buy the car and drove it home 15 hours with no problems and instantly noticed the minor details he had told me about over the phone in detail and he was spot on. I highly recommend Dave.

Gary Corda Dont even beginning thinking about doing any business with this man. He did show up, but began by telling me that his companies credit card system was being repaired and he couldnt take credit cards. He said he would make an estimate, and I would have to pay him in cash. I called my warranty company and I gave Kirk the phone to speak with the agent. He was on the phone for 20 minutes and then hung up. Kirk told me that all of the repairs would be covered and I believed him. All I would have to do is submit the invoice and after the deductible they would reimburse me the difference. I then gave Kirk $1,900.00 in cash He did leave me a detailed hand written invoice. After that he left and never returned to finish the job. I tried calling Kirk and the phone rolled over to the DMV drunk driving division. I also called the warranty company, and they admitted that they had spoken with Kirk but no discussion was done regarding coverage. After I submitted the invoice they refused it saying that it couldnt be understood. There were so many red flags and I was foolosh. Kirk had horrible teeth to me indicating to me a drug usage and his white Chevy suburban 2001 was all beat up. He did a little work but I am going to have a reliable repair business redo everything as well as the undone tasks. This company will take a credit card after the work is complete and I will know what the warranty company will pay. By all means, do not do any business with this thief. I have called the police and the district attorney is beginning an undergoing complete investigation. I have family that are investigators and they are really taking this seriously. This will be my repayment. R
