5 /5 trinity1160: I had Gastric Sleeve surgery back in July of 2021. My nurse practitioner recommended Mexicali Bariatric Center to me since she had had her GSV done with them. This was one of the best decisions Ive ever made in my life. The entire process was seamless and positive from getting cleared for the surgery to the send off back home. The doctor was was wonderful, Nina was a joy to work with and the entire staff treated us like royalty. I highly recommend Mexicali Bariatric Center to anyone considering bariatric surgery. You will not regret it.

5 /5 Rachel Williamson: I honestly feel like I had more consistent care here than I would have received in the US. The service was quick, near painless the entire time. Nina was in contact with me 24/7 before my appt date to make sure everything was squared away, I met everyone in the surgeon team, Dr Campos I was able to see more in a week than an American doctor in a year…over all excellent service. My only advice is that if you have prior medical conditions you manage it home, clarify this thoroughly- the bedside staff tend to not rounds as frequently as in the US. 5 /5 Kathy Elliott: I had my gastric sleeve 10/2010. It was a wonderful experience. So much better care than anything in the States. The entire team was there for each of us. We joked that all we needed was a massage and we would be at a spa. I had followup with the team after I went home. I have maintained my weight loss. I was the patient that was tap dancing 2 hours after surgery. The nerve block stopped the incredible pain in my back. That was a miracle bonus I was not expecting. It took 3 months for the nerve to regenerate. I have the pain, but being 100 pounds lighter, I can stay active.

I decided I needed something drastic and started researching weight-loss surgery. I decided on Mexicali Bariatric, even though it cost more, because of the great reviews and because surgery is done in a hospital instead of surgery center. I had such a great experience. Dr. Wilhelmy was friendly and answered all questions. The staff that took care of me was amazing. I went alone and they made me feel comfortable and safe. Almost all of them spoke English, only the night nurse didnt but she has questions in English saved on her phone to show me so I could answer. I am almost a year out and feel great. I have lost 60 lbs and feel better than I have in years. I owe it all to them! If I had it to do over - I would not change a thing!
