Alia (Rapwnzel) I have struggled with my hair for a long time. Every time I thought I figured out my curls, something still didnt feel right -- they only lasted a day, they got dull looking over the months. Not only that but my scalp health has been so bad lately. I went in feeling like a mess, and by God, Noelle was the hero I needed. Not only did she rescue my hair (and my confidence), but she gave me the knowledge to keep my hair healthy and therefore beautiful. ALSO she diagnosed my dandruff issue and recommended a certain shower head and now not only my scalp but whole body has stopped itching. It has been one week since I started the routine she taught me and my hair is looking better by the day! Im not afraid of next day frizz anymore, not afraid that buildup will start weighing me down. I couldnt find a single flake on my scalp today. I accidentally caught my reflection earlier and had to take a second look because my curls were so shiny! I could go on and on. Something about the way my curls coil feels more like *me*. All this to say, 100/10! If you have curly hair she is an absolute wizard -- the cut she gave me was exactly what i was hoping for. The scalp massage was divine. And the advice she had was so appreciated and welcomed - she was not pushy in any way. I showed an interest in learning so she obliged; she even emailed me all the stuff we went over so i wouldnt get overwhelmed. She was so sweet to both me and my fiancé who also had his hair done by her and agrees with every word of praise I have for Noelle! Robert McNeill I was so happy and impressed with my experience at David Adam Salon. They were incredibly helpful and attentive during my sons first haircut. Not only that, but they were able to squeeze us in without an appointment. Their staff made the whole experience truly amazing, keeping my son distracted and doing an excellent job with the trim we wanted. I couldnt recommend them enough!

Megan Carroll I have been going to Machelle for years- she is great! Her cuts always turn out beautiful , she is the nicest person and her prices are affordable. It is always relaxing and fun having her cut my hair and would 10/10 recommend!

Taylor Seamount Carla expertly sculpted my challenging hair and the result was--truly--THE BEST HAIRCUT I’VE EVER HAD. I have extremely straight, fine, and thick hair--very hard to layer into the bowl cuts and pixies that I love. Without the money to spend at a high end salon, I’ve just come to accept a level of choppiness. Well no more! I thought the haircut was great halfway through, but she made it perfect--even staying at it past closing. I also appreciated that she explained to me why she was using certain techniques based on my hair type and desired style. She is an artist that takes pride in her craft. She is a warm, funny, and multifaceted person and I had a lot of fun talking to her, too. I love that she promotes her fine art and hair styling together. She even sent me home with some complimentary bulbs from her other business--a plant nursery. She’s amazing! Can’t recommend stopping by Cali Barber enough.

Denise Weatherwax Noelle has been cutting and coloring my hair for 13 or 14 years. Shes the BEST and she keeps her salon impeccable and carries quality products that you cant find everywhere. I am especially impressed now by the Covid-19 protocols she has put in place -- I know she has a real commitment to her clients safety, not just lip service to the requirements, and I felt safe getting my hair cut there last week. Yes, were related -- shes married to my son -- but I have been a client of hers longer than that.

Alessandra Strada Vida is absolutely amazing! I am so grateful I found her when I moved to Santa Cruz from New York almost five years ago. She is the very best hair stylist I have ever had. She is really gifted with talent and creativity. She is also a great listener and able to manifest my wishes into amazing hair. Recently I have decided to transition to my natural silver and I was a little worried about what that would look like. It was kind of a big decision for me. I am amazed at how skillfully and creatively Vida guided me through the process. She really took the time to listen to my concerns and wishes, offered out of the box solutions that met my needs completely. She was incredible and made the transition fun, exciting, and empowering. My hair looks amazing and I could not be happier. Thank you, Vida!

Jessica Hensley What can I say? William is amazing. I love my haircut. Its beautiful, Ive gotten a ton of compliments, and I feel like myself (but better!). Williams also a lovely, interesting person who will make you feel totally comfortable.

Abraham Jason (Jason Abraham Photography) Had an amazing haircut/new look. I came in and had no idea what I wanted or needed and Jose took care of me. I had been rocking the man bun for years and wanted a low maintenance and professional look. He nailed it. Everyday this week I take no more than a few minutes after my shower to work with my hair, and have had so many compliments from people at work and friends in different social groups. Gotta trust the professionals at Get Faded Barbershop. This was my first time getting a fade or this style of haircut; so I was a little nervous at first. But I have been happy all week with this clean new look.

Nikka Dorado I went to Hendrix & Hue for a color correction. I did a free consultation with Brooke and we talked about my hair journey and goals. She made hair not only extremely soft for being a blonde but blended my hair so beautifully! Brooke is amazing, talented, and passionate about blonde hair! Her work shows with her attention to detail and not to mention the sweetest girl! I wish I could give her 10 stars on here! Highly recommended!
