5 /5 Jheydee Osano: I was in search for a mobile mechanic to swap out my alternator so I searched on google for mobile mechanics in the Oxnard area. The first mechanic I reached was so pushy and was trying to book me an appointment the following morning. But I wanted to see what other options and quotes I could get. I don’t know I didn’t get a good impression. So I kept searching and came across Mike Kay mobile mechanic and seen all his 5 star reviews. I gave him a call and left a voicemail. He called me back in about 10-15 minutes. Right out of the gate he was so energetic and professional because the way he talked on the phone, I can tell this was a mechanic who knew what he was doing. He offered his labor and new alternator and he gave me a super good deal compared to the 1st mechanic I called. Mike came through the next day to my house, he was explaining everything he doing to my vehicle. He was able to swap out my alternator super quick and was able to get me back running in time for work. Mike is very understanding and very knowledgeable. He is a true professional and really does care about helping people and not trying to rip you off. I highly recommend him as a mechanic. Seriously don’t hesitate to call him! I decided to give a mobile mechanic a shot after calling a few I decided to call MK MOBILE AUTO REPAIR he stood out he was very knowledgeable . He communicated clearly and did a very thorough inspection , and diagnosed problem accurately. Gave me an estimate and was able to complete repair and stick to the estimate we agreed upon , he also found a brake light out and replaced it for free , that’s what I call service !!! 5 /5 Tristan Revells: I moved to Ventura recently and needed to get some repairs done on my truck. After asking around at local auto parts stores I had Mike recommended to me twice so I gave him a call. He’s done an amazing job on two repairs for me already. The first time he dropped by my house and quickly diagnosed a seized cooling fan bracket. He got me back on the road in time for work the next day which was awesome, considering it was the weekend and I wouldn’t have even got the car into a shop by that time on Monday. The second time was a water pump issue that resulted in the idler pulley failing. Mike carefully tracked down the issue and went above and beyond in taking time to recalibrate everything so that the new timing belt and pump would be working in perfect alignment. He also replaced some bulbs I hadn’t noticed were out and pointed out a few things that I should keep note of in the upcoming months. Mike is a really good communicator and helps you understand in depth exactly what went wrong at your level. His great prices and the convenience of not having to drop your ride at a shop is an added bonus. He loves his craft and takes pride in taking no shortcuts - definitely my go to guy in the future!
