5 /5 Ronald G. Flores: Ok, we all have a mechanic we trust when at home. But in this case we are from out of town, now what do you do? After asking Paso locals, we decided to call Spring Street Auto. As I understand it this is a family owned and operated business. In talking with them (Friday morning) they were up front that they could work on, but might not be able to get all fixed by the time they closed (parts, other jobs, all played a part of not getting finished). In that case, it wouldn’t be until the next week before we could get truck back (closed on weekends). Note, we were leaving the next day to head back home. After talking to them I felt comfortable having vehicle towed over. Felt even more comfortable in the case the truck would need to be stored until I could get back to Paso. Upon meeting them in person (the daughter receptionist, her husband the mechanic, dad wasn’t around). I really felt they would do all they could to get us handled.
At about 15 minutes before they closed, they called and said truck is ready. We hustled over and picked up the truck. I felt they went above and beyond, giving me great service by under committing and over delivering. Based on searches of cost for a repair like this, they were right on the average cost. Really pleased with the service. My experience gives them 5 stars!!
