2 /5 Sandy Gutierrez: 5/22/24 I was shopping around looking for something more affordable to replace my ac compressor on my Mazda. I came across this business upon some google searches and ultimately the reviews led me to believe I could trust this place. We gave them a call they quoted us a reasonable price and were told it would be done in about 3 hours. We dropped our car off Monday night since we have kids and other commitments we wouldn’t be able to take it in the following morning. We expected the car to be done at least by the end of the day. Towards 3 o’clock we contacted the business to see how much longer it would be and they informed us they were still working on it, to call back towards closing time. We did just that, just for them to tell us the car still wasn’t done. The following day, which is today, Wednesday. We contacted the business around 10 am and were told it should be done by 1 o clock. We show up at 230 pm and they notify us that it was still going to be about an hour and that the car was still blowing hot air so they checked the cabin filter and that needs to be replaced. Ok. They contact us to let us know the car is ready, to our surprise, after they took payment they notify us that oh yea the valve cover gasket and the serpentine belt needs to be replaced. NO ONE from Tuesday-Wednesday contacted us or the times we called was this mentioned at any point in time that this was also something they discovered until the car was finally back in our possession. It’s upsetting especially when we were told a certain time frame where we adjusted our schedules to accommodate the last two days when we were originally given a completely different time frame. Now I understand that things happen and something came up, a courtesy call would’ve sufficed to mention a different time and the discovery. We were told they were going to send us a quote to see what the price would look like to change the new things they mentioned to us. With our experience I doubt we will return. We’re currently still waiting for that said quote…

5 /5 Gregory: Antonio is very personable, professional, and most importantly honest. I have owned my own shops in my day and I know when someone is going to research the problem if necessary and give you an honest opinion on what your cars problem is and an honest and reasonable price.

So we paid him and after continued delays, we were able to get the car back. The car did not work more than four days before we got the same message again. We took the car back in and again within a few days of receiving the car we got the warning again. This continued until we decided to take it into the dealership where we found out that the car did not need a new engine, and in fact needed the fuel pump changed. We got taken for our money, our time and Antonio did not even attempt to make the situation right in any way if you’re looking for somewhere to take your car please do not take it here. It was the worst mistake of my life.

5 /5 Kelly Castillo: This place is one of those auto shop where you can trust to left you car to be "REPAIR" they look for a better way for your car to be safe , not just change the problematic part and thats it ! I recommend them , I always have a great understanding of my car problems ! Ask for antonio he will get you ! Español & English!

5 /5 Enrique Rios: I have been taking my cars to Summit specifically to Francisco and Antonio for YEARS!! This is an absolutely amazing family owed business. They know their stuff and have rarely let me down as far as getting our cars back on the road. They have reasonable prices as they aren’t like most local shops that try to take advantage of you just to make a buck. They are all honest, trustworthy, and overall dependable people. I HIGHLY recommend Summit Auto Repair!
