Marlene I needed a front brake replacement for my car and I was looking for a new mechanic because the last time I got my brakes done they squeaked from the beginning and never stopped. I was asking around and a coworker of mine recommended this place. He said he had complete trust in the work they did. I called in and left a message to make an appointment. Ernie responded back to me fairly quickly and told me to come on by, but I opted to go in the next morning.
I went in the next morning, a little later than I originally told him Id be there. When I got there the mechanic that was there told me "the Boss" would be back in 5-10 minutes so I told him Id be out on the street waiting in my car. About 5 minutes later a vehicle drove by and went into the driveway. Less than and a minute after that Ernie was out there on the Street searching for me. Which I thought was nice of him, he could have just waited for me to walk up, which is what I figure most people would do.
Ernie was very friendly, he explained everything to me in detail and was very informative. He told me what to look for, and informed me on what type of actions could have caused my brakes to wear down the way it did. I was also concerned about my tires because they wore down really fast, He looked at them and quickly informed me why that was. I left there feeling good about being a little more knowledgeable and wishing more people communicated on the ongoings of my vehicle as well as he did.
