5 /5 Caitlyn Blackstorm: I started going to TerraNova when I moved down to Southern California, and it has been an awesome first experience as a newer follower of Christ! The small groups are all welcoming and becoming a part of serving the within TerraNova and the community is so easy. The sermons are in depth and give context, scripture, and perspective into changing habits to better align with Jesus’s teachings, and I have been able to share them with family members who are non-believers, and they are always interested! The pastors are very friendly and work hard to support, teach, and guide everyone who attends.
The youth ministry is also super epic, and I’ve gotten to work with the Junior Highers with their leader ( shout out to Doah!) who is probably one of the coolest dudes. He keeps the middle schoolers engaged and interested in the lessons and supports them into growing into their own faith and being able to defend difficult topics.
The band is also phenomenal and are very down to earth. When I first attended I was brought to tears by the music and was shocked to learn that some of the songs are originals from the worship singer!
Very good stuff. Basically if your thinking of going to a church with strong community, and your a parent, a single parent, a young adult, an older individual, or are a first timer like I was, this is the place to be!
