Monterey Mirror Maze and Laser Challenge

Brian Christian Mackenzie was great! She made the experience even better. My two boys 10 and 13 had fun having multiple tries. The prism glasses made it more challenging. It’s a small space but we must have spent 45 minutes or so doing the laser game and maze. We will be back again.

Treasure Hunt: The Ride

Julie Paxman Took my 3 1/2 year old in the ride along with friends from out of town. Very interactive and fun! I really appreciate that you can ride again and again. Definitely get the gold token upgrade! The ride operators are very kind. We will be going next time were in town.

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Jerrie Donovan This is a small but powerful state reserve. We spent all day there and walked the whole park we clocked 10miles. The views are amazing and to see the wildlife going about their life was captivating. It was windy and cool on one side and warm on the other side. There are several parking areas to not have to walk the whole park, but that takes away from enjoying the park.

Dennis The Menace Playground

Inigo Montoya You can tell this park is dated, but it has held up well. Its timeless. Its got its own magic. My son became possessed by the magic of joy it brings all children who enter its grounds.

McAbee Beach

Nicholas Shake McAbee Beach is a nice little beach in Cannery Row thats main purpose is for tourists to be able to take a short walk down the beach without all the hassle of a traditional sized beach. Im sure it has some historic reason for being there and having it stay the way it was since back in the day, but it serves its purpose well. No waves and a safe place to put your feet in the water without getting swept away. Sometimes there are little seashells and sometimes there are other cool things that washup on shore. This is the same beach where John Denver crashed his plane in 1997 just a little south of this beach (if you dont know who John Denver is, your parents are terrible people).

Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History

Sandra Diaz We love this small museum! It has tons of things for small children to do from a playing area to finding a fossil in a rock pit. It was awesome to find out that they have special event on the last Saturday of the month. When I went it was free and there is a beautiful park across perfect for a picnic and it’s a small walk to the beach for longer visits.
