1 /5 Lydia H.: I went to this church for over a year. I had just moved across the country and I knew no one. I tried my best to be friendly, come regularly and involve myself in activities (morning prayer, after service fellowships outside, youth group) but despite my efforts, I went over looked. I craved a church family and instead I was met with a scene from high school. The church is categorized into cliques. You have the "Ive been here 20 years +" crowd, the "I am related to the Pastor" crowd, the "I am in my twenties with ten babies" crowd and so on. Unless you are born into this church or have an "in" with a member, Id recommend looking elsewhere.

In just three years, I have rededicated my life to God, gained a new church family, and been on two medical mission trips to Guatemala. Lighthouse is so welcoming and has so much to offer. I am beyond blessed to be growing in the Lighthouse Church, its amazing to think that one small school (Lighthouse Christian Academy) led me to a church full of love and blessings.
