5 /5 Dorothea Jacobsen: This is a warm-hearted, welcoming, doctrinal, church that blessed me immensely during my visit from out of state. Their prayers and practical help revealed Christs acceptance and compassion for the rocky time I was going through. Many thanks for the expressions of love.

5 /5 Noelle Hazekamp: So happy our neighbors told us about this church; it has been such a positive influence on my family. My husband and I were looking for a Christian church that aligned with our values and was true to the word of God. The first service we attended was so welcoming. They give you a coffee mug and connection cards for Fellowship on your first visit. The church has multiple events throughout the year including park Olympics, BBQs, hikes, surf lessons, etc. My husband was even Baptized at Moonlight Beach with 45 other members. The Pastors and Youth ministry leaders are such a blessing! We are approaching our 1 year mark and it warms my heart to know we have finally found our people.

5 /5 bobby byrnes: Verse by verse uncompromised teaching right out of the Bible. What a simple, refreshing change. This is now my Church for the foreseeable future. I would encourage you to visit if you are in town or looking for a Church of your own to call home.

5 /5 Trish: I have not attended this church in person, but I have been watching the sermon online and I am impressed by the teaching so far. Hence, my 5 stars rating here is based on my remote participation. My write up in the following is not much about making a comment, rather, it is more like asking a question. The truth is that I am desperately looking for a home church here in San Diego. However, there is one very fundamental doctrine of a church which is extremely important to me and I would like to find this out in public. I hope that my following question does not offend anyone who leads or attends this seemingly wonderful church. If my question below seems provocative or intrusive to anyone, please accept my sincere apology. I have left my previous church after being there for several years. In the beginning, I was very pleased with the teaching and the fellowship until US politics became more and more divided and the church started taking a specific political position. To me, for a church to get involved in political influence is not what I could agree with. As far as I know of Jesus teaching, I was never aware of Jesus suggesting what or who to support in the political system. Hence, I would prefer the church that I am going to participate in and to serve will always just focus on the bible teaching and not get involved in the political discourse and discord. I certainly respect each persons right for their personal political belief and practice. However, such a personal position should not be tied to church doctrine and teaching because our church is our secret place to worship our God, and God alone according to His words to serve and to love our God and His people. I pray to God to find me the right church in the San Diego area that I can attend and 100% focus on His words without any political distraction. I hope that Mission Church Carlsbad is "the" right church that I am looking for. At least, so far, I am very excited about what I have seen online. Hoping that I will get some affirmation publicly from the leader of the church. Once again, please accept my sincere apology if my question above offends anyone which is not my true intention. 5 /5 Becca Miller: I love the Mission Church. I have never been a part of a church body quite like this one. When I go on Sundays I don’t feel like Pastor Dave or JC is just preaching a sermon, it feels like a personal in-depth Bible study that is insightful, and full of biblical truth and grace. It’s not just that they’re teaching about Jesus, it’s discipleship. If you’re looking for a church where you will grow in your knowledge and love for God through Bible-based teaching, and walk alongside an inspiring community who is doing the same, this is the church for you!
