thephilprof It was a routine appointment but at one point a customer came in who appeared to be quite scruffy and possibly someone who lives on the streets. He wanted a wash and a cut. He had a lot of difficulty speaking clearly and was very unbalanced on his feet. Rachel was working on my hair and so the other stylist started looking after “Jimmy”. She washed his hair then led him to her station. After a minute she politely asked to speak with Rachel. They talked for a minute away from the customer then returned to look at his hair. Then Rachel politely explained they could not cut his hair as he had lice and she recommended he go to the doctor for treatment. He started to gather his things which was difficult for him because of his lack of balance and general mobility. Eventually left after dropping his change (they helped him gather it). Rachel and the other stylist disinfected the station and the sink area. They were very professional, respectful and kind. They handled the situation very well and are a credit to Supercuts.

Corey Lintner Wade is a cool guy to talk to and a very skilled barber. He gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. The shop is awesome with lots of great artwork everywhere. The online appointment website is really convenient and makes finding availability and scheduling super easy. He also works late which is ideal for an after work cut. Overall the whole experience was very enjoyable and I plan on being a regular customer of his. Thanks again Wade!

Alisha C My first experience at Kim and Co. was beyond lovely, the atmosphere, the entire staff and Kim herself were kind, compassionate and professional. I was recently in the hospital and due to a current health issue and I can’t get my back wet to shower or wash my hair properly. Kim herself thoroughly cleansed my scalp and double shampooed me, all the while letting me kvetch about my health issues. The way my hair felt and looked after getting cleansed was night and day, and furthermore she refused to let me pay! I will absolutely be going back as soon as I’m able for a full cut and styling. They have a parking lot, adorable exterior, and that delicious salon smell when you come in the door. I perused their selection of wonderful products in the front, ranging from skincare to hair products and they even had a small section for locally made knitwear and accessories. The staff is super helpful and the vibe was delightful. You will not regret visiting this salon, my mom regularly sees Vanessa for her haircuts and her hair is always looking so cute for her face shape and easy to style at home. Thank you Kim and Co. from the bottom of my heart, you made my week brighter and I feel like a new human with very clean hair.

When I first met Megan (talented owner and stylist at Gypsy and Oak), I was in a rough spot having felt unheard and not listened to by my previous stylist….Megan helped me to trust the hair process again (hair extensions/color/style) because I truly felt heard! Carlin Sadowski I have had several wonderful haircuts from Kenna and every step of the process is a 10/10! Kenna is so delightful and friendly and does an excellent job from start to finish. The salon and suites are clean and comfortable. Love everything about this place!

Eniko Nagy The salon has a great atmosphere and its in a very convenient location. Our family hair dresser is Sèan Levahn. I highly recommend him. I love his attention to detail, his one-on-one attention. I am completely happy with the color, cut and styling. I truly feel pampered. Lily L Diamond I highly recommend Pierre’s Salon! Pierre gave me an excellent, flattering cut that makes me smile when I walk past a mirror. Yes! Pierre is truly kind, knowledgeable, and has exceptional listening skills. He and Jacky provide a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. A ten star experience!

Whitney Malzhan I was hesitant to schedule my toddler for his first haircut, but my friend posted an "after" photo of her son on Facebook, and I figured if she trusted Mint Salon and Spa with her sons hair, I could too. Savannah has now given my little guy two haircuts and she is great! She is quick, but also patient, and my only complaint is that my little man looks so much more grown up afterwards! The salon is tucked away a bit from Broad Street, but its in the same parking lot as Black Horse (bonus!).

Maya Schell Allison is absolutely amazing! I saw her for two years during my time in SLO and she really helped me with my hair growth and confidence! Couldn’t recommend her services more.
