What Clients Are Saying Unity Palo Alto Spiritual Center (GG)
5 /5 Patricia Gill-Thielen: A very welcoming loving community. Worth getting up and going in the morning
5 /5 En Beejay: Unity Palo Alto is not a church, per se, but rather part of a worldwide movement focused on positive spiritual practices and uplifting community. Each of us is empowered to find what works for ourselves. If youre looking for a positive, uplifting place on the SF Peninsula or Silicon Valley, check out Unity Palo Alto.
5 /5 Ann Heile: We have been attending since before our daughter was born and have been so grateful for the love, support and uplifting spiritual experiences we have received each and every Sunday. Our daughter, now an adult, grew up going to the childrens sunday classes learning unity principles of knowing God is everywhere present, divine love flows through us all and in the stillness learning to breath, release worries and concerns and becoming mindful of the present moment. We all have found Unity Palo Alto to be our bulwark in storms and deeply caring friendships and opportunities to celebrate the joys of living one day at a time! We also love that we can take what we like and leave the rest. Unity Palo Alto is our physical spiritual home for life, that helps us stay grounded in the peace and loving kindess of the Christ presence within.
5 /5 naseem: I am wondering why its called a church, when there are no crosses visible at all and many Muslim events take place there. Honestly it should just change into an Islamic community center or Mosque, it would probably get a lot more business anyway haha. Also, cool fountain and nice flowers.
5 /5 Steve Hays: I am so inspired and uplifted by this community! I appreciate the opportunities it provides for spiritual learning, community, healing, laughter, joy. And I relish the practical and progressive philosophy it promotes, allowing me to find what works for me, what makes sense, and let the rest go!
John Elmer Very warm and friendly gathering. I felt comfortable as a new person. Worship was good with a sense of the Holy Spirt. I’d guess there was almost 200 people there. They teach out of the Bible and it was relevant. The week I was there they had a baby dedication and it was super sweet how they did it. Very diverse congregation. If I lived in the area I’d definitely go back
Jarom Feriante It’s been a pleasure going to church here while living in Palo Alto the last several years. I have become friends with a lot of solid families and individuals here who have enriched my life. I also went to Sunday School and Boy Scouting meetings here back in the 80’s while growing up in Palo Alto. Growing up in Palo Alto is not easy, but I had some awesome teachers and role models here at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who were influential in my decisions to stay on the right course as a youth.
Amy March This church body loves Jesus, and they love each other. CCMV has been a home for me and my family since moving to California. It is a diverse congregation that loves reading the Bible and praying together. Teaching is good and the kind that makes you grow in your walk with the LORD.
Lauren Im a celiac who has worked on staff at this church for a few years now. At a certain point I wanted to take communion but there were no safe options for gluten-free people. I spoke with the communion organizers and now they offer gluten free crackers and grape juice whenever communion happens! I educated them on the concept of cross-contact, and they were very attentive about it, so I definitely feel safe here.
Somer Sanui Mercado I visited many churches in my life. Some had great music, some had nice facilities, good organization... but it became clear to me by the people at the BACC that THIS was a place where I could truly grow spiritually (and not wander off!) People in our church care about living by the bible. It isnt perfect. Sometimes the music or the lessons arent always mind blowing, but the Christians at our church make this place THE church.
