5 /5 Cody Manning: This vet office saved us from having a horrible day after rescuing a kitten. We saved a kitten from being run over in the middle of the road, eyes closed shut from an upper respiratory infection. We first went to Monte Vista emergency vet. They were unfortunately closed because of the Holiday weekend. Called and asked if they humanely take cats in and said they could so we went to the emergency Vet off Taylor. After waiting around for about 4 hours they told me they could not euthanize the cat. My wife and I were pissed we waited 4 hours because we wanted to humanely surrender a kitten we wanted to save and not kill!
The vets office inside of this petco has individuals that truly care for animals. Even without an appointment they were able to squeeze us in to get an emergency visit, clean the kitten, and provide medication. It was very heartwarming to know that there are amazing people working there. I didn’t catch the receptionists name but I would like to thank her for checking with the vet and getting us in. Thank you as well to Jessica the vet tech, and the vet whose name escapes me. You all are amazing people.
