Walker Chapel AME Church - Oceanside (CA)

Linda Ridge Johnson Ive visited this church many years with my niece and her husband whenever my visits encompass a Sunday morning! There are two services. The first is traditional with hymnbook gospel worship songs. The second is contemporary, with songs that are from the later 20th-21st century songbook. The people are friendly, the messages from the pulpit and Bible study groups are based on the Holy Bible, and, most importantly, the Spirit of the LORD abides for whoever desires to come and have an encounter with Almighty God! I recommend this church for singles, young marrieds, families w young children, teenagers, and senior citizens alike! It welcomes anyone regardless of ethnicity, culture, or nationality! If I lived in the area, I would be a member of this church! #MyChurchHomeAwayFromHome

R. MITCHELL My last visit was in October of 2016. My grandmother grew up in that mission and went to school there when she was a kid. Some of our family is buried there, and we are a part of the San Luis Rey Mission band of Natives. Some pretty cool history I learned from her and from visiting there!

Karen Krause I have been going to ECPC for a few weeks now. I came from a larger church and I love this small young, and friendly congregation. I was made to feel at home on my very first visit! The pastor and sermons are wonderful and biblically based. The fellowship here is warm and people stay after church for food and fellowship and dont rush out when the service is over.

Joann Hacker We stayed at Wyndham for four nights. They had daily Mass at 0800. I was so pleasantly surprised that it was less than a ten minute walk every morning. They pray the rosary and a beautiful prayer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, as a group after Mass. They also have Adoration after Mass on a small side Chapel. Very welcoming community.

Christy Hexberg Excellent church! Monday night theres a Celebrate Recovery meeting that starts at 6pm. They also serve dinner here as well as singing and praising the Lord

Shelmark I love this church! The redemption of Christ is evident and the joy of the Lord is in the people. So grateful for Pastor Robs leadership! This is a church that teaches the Bible, speaks truth in LOVE and does not squash the spirit. Truly a Biblical balance of freedom in worship and order. A beautifully diverse church with one thing in common - Simply Jesus!
