Joshua Welch I attend service at Pillar Church of Oceanside from January 2018 to June 2020. Prior to this I attended church at Pillar Church in Dumfries, VA and Pillar Church in Jacksonville, NC. I have never felt more at home than I have at a Pillar Church. I recently returned for a weekend after moving out of town and felt like I was right back with my family. I love this church and cannot express how much they have helped me to grow in my walk with Christ.

Linda Ridge Johnson Ive visited this church many years with my niece and her husband whenever my visits encompass a Sunday morning! There are two services. The first is traditional with hymnbook gospel worship songs. The second is contemporary, with songs that are from the later 20th-21st century songbook. The people are friendly, the messages from the pulpit and Bible study groups are based on the Holy Bible, and, most importantly, the Spirit of the LORD abides for whoever desires to come and have an encounter with Almighty God! I recommend this church for singles, young marrieds, families w young children, teenagers, and senior citizens alike! It welcomes anyone regardless of ethnicity, culture, or nationality! If I lived in the area, I would be a member of this church! #MyChurchHomeAwayFromHome
