Bradley D Smeltzer 1. The price for the required dog days orientation is the same for any guests you bring. Fresno State overbooked and told my wife they cant come and wont get a refund. I showed up anyway without a fuss. They served sludge for lunch, but I had The Habit for far less then these guests paid for. 2. For the insane $3000 I was paying for, one teacher was always late and running behind to a point we were lost in lab (taught by someone else). Lab had a final, community college doesnt do that. One teacher admitted that homework was not gonna help you on the tests (which conveniently took place the day after the drop date). Homework consisted of 8 regurgitated questions, get 4 in a row and your done. Due to terrible teachers, my GPA is low and Im threatened to be kicked out because of it. Youd think theyd be happy to take your money, but no, they want to uphold their reputation. 3. Clubs are non-existent. They rarely do what theyre designed to do. Anime club plays unrelated random games. Board game club is filled with people on laptops. Video game club, literally nothing. 4. Most of the 5 star reviews on here talk about the scenery or a single event. Events are brought to you by the Save Mart Center, not Fresno State.

Daniel Alamilla One of the best places in the country to start or continue your professional career. Love the campus and the staff. Every staff member and instructor is very professional and kind. A wide variety of programs in many fields.

Cathleen Armstrong The lady in the records office could not have been more more helpful. Her expertise in willingness to assist was exceptional. My only gripe is that their lack of signage means you have to walk all over campus to try to figure out where you need to be. The campus is very clean and attractive and there’s a lot of parking but only if you have a permit.

David Mercado Ive had two "college careers" here. One after high school and before I transferred to Fresno State, and one recently to learn web design. Its still an affordable option to learn new job skills or transfer to a university. Just make sure to seek out help if you need it (Its always available, just keep at it), and this can be a good, affordable alternative to going straight to a university for a bachelors degree.

Timothy Cromwell I have been going throughout highschool and this school has been nothing but accommodating. The staff is friendly, the teachers are nice, and the free duel enrollment is the cherry on top! Would recommend to any one looking for their associates degree. The practice for entry during this school semester does require you to be a student or staff.

Chelsey Hayes I currently attend this school and I’ve had nothing but positive things happen to me. I have one teacher (Shout out to Mr. Tostado aka Mr. T) who has been incredible and I know have him for the 3rd semester in a row. I have two more semesters before I graduate and I’m so excited to be the first one in my family to graduate college. So I think a lot of the reviews are just from disgruntled students who didn’t have a good experience. Everyone’s experiences are different. I love this school and couldn’t imagine going somewhere different.

Willie TEE Very Relaxed Campus Environment, to be honest, I feel there could be more Campus locator maps/kiosks and perhaps information stations. Or even rovers out and about on golf cards willing to help anyone with a question or need. As a first time visitor to the Campus, I was left feeling challenged as yo how I was going to find the office/building I was looking for. In fact, I wound up leaving because nobody could assist me. To be fair, I went back a couple of days later after my contact on campus sent me the map link and I found the office with no problem. Beautiful Campus, pleasant non-treatening police presence, God filled Staff and students. Who wouldnt want to get lost here? LQTM, it wasnt that bad, really. A nice overall experience..

Angelina Pawlak I had an incredibly frustrating experience at FPU when my boyfriend mistakenly took my car key with him after dropping him off for class, and he was unreachable due to a broken phone. Despite being listed as an emergency contact and even with his mothers verification, the registrars office refused to assist me in paging him/locating him or even providing his class schedule. Their lack of concern and unwillingness to help in a genuine emergency situation was shocking and disappointing.

Sar Nez In the process of getting my undergraduate degree and this school has easy parking, teachers that are accessible, friendly people on campus, an area for commuters to rest/lounge, and fun community events. It provides a slower paced experience, positive atmosphere, and strengthens your religious beliefs as well as challenging them. I was impressed by how much I learned in non religious aspects as my field is psychology and I feel confident graduating here knowing I got the best college experience.

Kyleenn May Truly disappointed in the experience I’ve had with NU. Things were great until they forced this subscription for tuition on us. I logged in to find a 5,000 dollar charge, with a crappy explanation of how the tuition was to be changed. After calling in to talk to them - the woman stated this should not be offered as the counselors hadn’t even been trained on this new subscription model. Thinking that would take care of the egregious charge— I received follow up correspondence stating that I was in fact enrolled into this and there was no way out of it. Essentially you pay 4 classes up front for tuition. It made absolutely no sense, since if you missed a class you were charged even more for a class that we already were. So much for those who need to take a class off and on or have lives outside of college. Anyways- don’t go here. Save yourself the time and the headache.

Joel Moutray I am currently enrolled in the EMT program at National University, Fresno. I am thoroughly enjoying it. The instructors are very knowledgeable in the field, have tons of field experience, and are competent to teach. The only reason I didnt rate it fulls stars, is because this is the first time these instructors have not worked together. They are not all on the same page. and I feel like they could prepare a little more for their lectures. This however will improve(they have already improved) as this Fresno program continues. I am learning tons, and feel like I will be able to pass the class.

Chesney Watson Took the EMT course with National University a few months ago! The day class I was in was fantastic! The instructors care about your success in and out of class, are helpful outside school hours, and are understanding for make-ups. Computer lab was always open for students which was a plus! All the instructors were highly knowledgeable and helped me excel in school! One of the cheaper and more professional EMT courses in Fresno! HIGHLY recommend!!

Mercedes Scott I am not speaking for this business itself, merely the college districts education quality. I have taken classes at Fresno, Clovis, and Reedley Community College, and I have had an absolutely deplorable time. I dont feel like Im getting anything from the classes; I dont feel the staff is prepared to teach online. If you are going to teach college-level English, you should not make punctuation and grammatical errors. If you are teaching a law class, you should not do it from inherent bias and perspective. If you are conducting an online course, you should not have to hold up a piece of paper because you dont know how to make a slide. An absolute and utter waste of my time and money, I am so glad I got the nerve to go back to school; now I will find somewhere to teach me, educate me, and get me further in life.

While waiting on my application, I started taking mathematics courses through CSU Fresno College Of Science And Mathematics. CSU, Fresno is a wheelchair friendly campus, and the instructors were great.
