Vicky Knox This review is purely for the plants. Whoever is in charge of landscape design here is a garden genius! The campus is full of secret nooks and crannies full of tropicals, desert plants, fruit trees and flowering plants that attract monarchs and other butterflies. Their farm is in need of some love once campus is reopened but has some incredible foundational plants such as pomegranate and stone fruit trees, guava and dragon fruit. PS: I unknowingly trespassed when I went there the other day. A police officer rolled up on me. Enter at your own risk.

J Great atmosphere. Their financial aid office needs help though. I started my fasfa around May and Im trying to get in for the fall. I sat down with the students that help you with the fasfa form online so I dont do it wrong. I had to wait for them to approve it. They told me to bring my parents IRS info, even though I used the retrieval tool. I had to do a dependent verification form. Turned in copies of those. Then asked for my W-2. Then they asked for another verification form. Just constantly asking me for things I turned in. It sometimes takes them weeks to let you know whats next. So I learned the hard way the previous year that they ask for these forms every semester. They didnt tell me until I was applying for another semester. First year student trying to figure them out. I lived in El Cajon when they were asking for forms making this process extra annoying. Apparently they had to restart the process for the new semester. Dont ask me why but this is the most annoying part of school. I advise making multiple copies of whatever they ask for IRS FORMS, W-2, AND TAX INFO. Theyll ask for it next semester and start it months before to avoid lines. Im grateful there is a financial office though or school would be ROUGH! Thank you. EDIT: THEY MOVED TO A 270

Rob Reardon My daughter and I attended a performance of the “Jury Experience.” Overall, it was an enjoyable experience…innovative interaction with the audience that allowed for an engaging evening. The acting was stiff at times, though. And the background music was not coordinated well with the dialogue, sometimes drowning out the actors’ speech.

Tyler Johnson I attended this school in the 1990s as a chemistry major. The faculty and curriculum were excellent. If you have never been, I recommend a guided tour by the admissions office. Im proud to have attended USD, and I hope my children will have an opportunity to attend as well.

Christopher W.S. The campus is beautiful, but the beauty stops there. Behind the surface is a hypocritical organization that protects the powerful and tramples over everyone else. Students pay $60k/year to be taught by old professors who checked out 30 years ago and havent updated their courses since then. The university is plagued by scandals. There are plenty of other universities that provide a better education at a more reasonable price without the hypocrisy and lack of values.

Scm I’m extremely frustrated with National University and how poorly they’ve handled my state aid situation. I’ve been an alumni since 2021, and it’s crazy to think that even after completing my program, I’m still dealing with these issues months later. What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication—no one updates you unless you constantly reach out, and even then, the answers are vague, delayed, or completely unhelpful. This has never been a problem during my time as a student, so it’s disappointing to see how things have fallen apart post-graduation. I expected more support, especially after committing so much time and money to this school. It’s unacceptable that something that should be straightforward is being dragged out for months with no real progress. National University really needs to do better for their current students and alumni. The lack of organization, communication, and accountability is beyond frustrating.

Tyrece Huff I’ve had a very positive experience at NU overall. The university offers a wide range of resources to help you get the most out of your program. While I did encounter a significant issue with financial aid, I followed the proper channels and stayed in communication with my previous advisor. I’m especially grateful to Natalie and Don for their support and dedication throughout the process. Although there are still a few areas that could be improved, I believe NU is actively working to address them and enhance the student experience.

Family Booth National Universitys online MA in Strategic Communication is the perfect program for working professionals. The flexible, 4-week course format made it easy to balance school with my full-time job. I loved how real-world the curriculum was—everything from campaign planning to crisis communication had direct application in my day-to-day work. The professors are incredibly knowledgeable and bring valuable industry experience to the classroom. They’re supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in student success. The program is short, focused, and full of practical insight that helped me grow both personally and professionally. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to advance in the field of communication.

The entire production was amazing and I could not have enjoyed it more. Its very worth finding out more about the story of how it was written first, so when you watch it live youll have a deeper appreciation. Parking is an issue here and make sure you go early when you do. Youll be greeted by a friendly face who can direct you from there. Who could ask for anything more?

Игровой Тюнинг The college has a high potential among the competition and it is still developing to this day. Comparing Cuyamaca with Grossmont, Cuyamaca stands out as a leader in terms of student support in all aspects, the quality of the buildings and the teaching system. The staff is always treated with respect. The people around are friendly and accommodating. I recommend this college to those who want to attend college for the first time after graduating from high school. This college is especially the best solution for transferring to any university. I have been studying here for 1 year now. Havent regretted a single second of being here!

Martha Palm I had an unexpectedly wonderful experience at Pacific College of Health and Science clinic. Having signed up for a cosmetic acupuncture facial, I thought I was going to just be pampered and feel relaxed. Instead, it was that and much more. My treating interns were Amy and her observer Kate. Amy took me through a thorough health questionnaire and discovered health issues that they addressed and brought their supervisor Dr. Lathrop in to elaborate on. The treatment addressed my underlying conditions as well as the cosmetic aspects and I left thoroughly relaxed, pampered and educated on lab work, Chinese herbs ,and supplements to look into for even more help. I cannot recommend this clinic more. They deliver excellent care and scientific competence with kindness and compassion. You will love it here!

Mike Hosley Well as an instructor there, I enjoyed about ten percent of the students, was shocked at the quality of most of the work, ethics, and work ethic of most of the international students there. It was not accredited when I was there, and the paper record keeping was way behind the times, but it was still a wonderful opportunity to meet students from all over the world. In the end, it wasnt a good fit for either of us but I still hear from students who I got through to. Rampant nepotism, small family owned - took some investors over there to possibly make an offer and decided to pass in the end.

Patty Fallahee The Online teacher credentialing program is biased and inequitable with grading practices. The Online platform is difficult to use. Instructions are not always clear and its very difficult to get any help from tech. The error could be in the user, however, because of the lack of communication, it is hard to know where the mistake is happening. They will happily take your money. There are many programs out there, think twice before signing on the dotted line.

Elka Update 2: I was told I did not owe any money and I was sent a bill out of the blue. Update: The accelerated program was too much for me. You need to have skills in making videos, flowcharts, and presentations as well as be familiar with APA 7 and Canvas on top of the research and papers. Work is due every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The first two weeks were "light" and I cant imagine doing all that while working a full time job. I asked if it was possible to work less while going to school but thay was not possible. Late work is not accepted. It was pretty stressful. You are online for the whole thing. I reached out and met some friendly folks, but I wish there was more effort given for us to meet and support each other. I had asked to speak with the professors before classes started or to know what materials wed be using, but was told I could not because they didnt know who would be teaching them yet or what texts they would use. It is not easy to get in contact with anyone directly. If you need help with anything from technology to finance, you can call the main number, but they will direct you to email the folks. They leave early on Fridays, so call early. In all, it was not the program for me and I had to withdraw. Good luck to those who are in it! I wish you well! Nice people. Original post: Just joining the team for the Masters and credential to be a mild to moderate Ed. Specialist. Nicole in admissions has has gone above and beyond to help me. Im returning to school after many years and shes referred me to folks who can help me. Ill update as we go along!

Herbert Heisterkamp Have been there as a foreign student from Germany in the international business administration bachelors program. The student fees are out of all proportion to the academic standard. Teacher usually just rush through the presentations they got from the publishing houses of the textbooks, often not even having understood the content. On administrative level the school (I never would call this place an actual university) isnt also pretty supportive to the students. In my time e.g. opening hours of the buildings and libraries were shortened because of "security reasons". I couldnt come up with a more ridiculous explanation to reduce services and save money.

For months I have tried to reach out and talk to the admissions office to apply for the Full-Stack Immersive Program and I have received no help or updates on my application. The staff are HORRIBLE with communication and havent responded to the MAJORITY of my emails asking for updates and the status of my application. The program I applied for started 2 days ago and no one told me my login portal details or if I was even accepted? However, my instructor emailed me wondering why I missed class. I have even tried calling the admissions office to no avail. The communication is extremely unprofessional for a University and makes the school look really bad. They havent made themselves available to answer questions for inquiring students and not to mention students who are trying to attend. Look somewhere else and spare yourself the headache.

Justin Arthur The campus was about the same size as my high school. I could see all the academic buildings from the center of campus. I ended up leaving after three years because they didn’t offer any digital media classes, which was really disappointing. I made a few friends, but there were a lot of unpleasant people as well, so I avoided talking to most. I hated going back and seeing people I used to call friends who turned out to be horrible. I suggest sticking to talking with people in your classes because trying to make friends outside of them isn’t likely to work.

Todd Buchholz Veterans: Avoid at all costs! If you go here wanting to use your GI bill, they will send you in loops around the campus to buildings that no longer exist or are closed. After preforming your own reconnaissance, if you do manage to locate the illusive Veterans Affairs office they will do everything in their power to actively not help. Expect to receive an appointment time for a later date that they will inevitably forget about. Once you show up for your scheduled appointment, they will prompt you to reschedule as “they are not sure what you are talking about.” Save yourself the hassle of getting scammed and go to a real accredited college.

Deniz Ates Brown It has been a great journey for both my BBA and MBA; such amazing programs! I came as an international student and found I never need to travel the world anymore, as it is a very diverse global community presence among students and even professors. The classes are designed for you to soak up the material and learn new things very efficiently at your own pace. The administration is very responsive, knowledgeable and always helpful. The same goes for professors as they are committed to your success, and want you to actually learn with resourceful takeaways from each course. As a nationally accredited University, SSU will soon be WASC (regional accreditation ) approved which shows how dedicated University is. Aside from that, it is very affordable so you would not have to incur any student debt (yes- I laugh very loud to the ones that do, for not choosing SSU)!! Thumbs up for a great educational journey, and as a happy graduate, I have a great career thanks to a lot of help from SSU!

Heather Harlan I decided to write a really detailed review because other people need to know the truth about this school so they can make an informed decision. I attended the massage therapy program at ICOHS College, and I’m extremely disappointed with the entire experience. If I had known what it would really be like, I would’ve chosen a different school. ICOHS is one of the most expensive massage programs in San Diego — over $15,000, which is about $5,000 more than other local schools. When I asked why it costs so much more, I was told it’s because they provide a massage table, a laptop, books, and supplies. But none of that adds up. The massage table was a super basic $165 table from Amazon (narrower and cheaper than the ones we practiced on in class), the laptop was around $155, and the books were only digital copies — no hardbacks. They also gave us a silicone cupping set, some cheap oil and lotion, and thin sheets — maybe $60–$70 worth of materials total. No bolster, no massage chair. All together, everything they gave us was under $1,000. So where is the extra $4,000 going? The main reason I chose ICOHS was the three-day-a-week schedule, which worked with my job. But halfway through the program, they added a required fourth day. That completely threw off the schedule I had planned for — and the worst part? The extra days were totally disorganized. Most of the time, there was no real lesson or structure. We just sat there while teachers tried to figure out what to do with us. Some teachers were amazing, but others… not so much. One in particular, literally fell asleep in class — not once, but multiple times. He also spent more time talking about his personal life than teaching. And overall, there just wasn’t enough hands-on practice for an eight-month program. Way too many hours were wasted when they could’ve been used to actually make us better therapists. What really frustrated me the most, though, is that they pass everyone. Even students who couldn’t name major muscle groups or pass basic tests were still given certificates. That’s not just frustrating — it’s concerning. These are people who will be working on clients’ bodies in a professional setting, and some weren’t ready for that responsibility. I was genuinely excited to start massage school, but by the end, I just wanted to get out. Now I’m stuck paying off a very expensive education that didn’t live up to its promise. Honestly, I’m embarrassed to say I went to ICOHS, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Please do your research and look into other schools in San Diego — there are better options out there.

Cassandra Rae Escobar I am part of the massage program and so far it is incredible. It is a high work load but is so fun that it does not even feel like school. Instructors I have met and worked with so far are amazing and I am so glad I chose this school for massage therapy. Parking can be a challenge but my pro tip is to email the First Lutheran church off 3rd street and get an assigned spot for 175 a month :) eliminates the worry if its in your means. I do also wish the massage tables they gave us for home use were actually full size like the ones at school. They dont seem as sturdy and will not be usable for some of my broader clients in the future. I will need to get something bigger but it works for now. Thank you ICOHS!

Mohammed Alsudani There is no life without SDCCD, whether it was; Continuing education, Mesa, City College and Miramar. I am thankful, grateful and appreciate each thing that you offered to me and each student. Your student; Mohammed. Signed, April 25th,2025

Redacted Redacted Roadblock after roadblock getting registered then staff told me incorrect information about how waitlist works, which made me miss the class because I didnt receive the notice I was accepted. Then it wasnt open/I didnt get in for the next semester. Im so sick of people handing out wrong information. Shame on you.

syona ball I have been to three CC’s in California. I started off at Palomar because I was living in north county. Moved to Santa Barbara and attended SBCC and loved it. Then moved to Lemon Grove so I decided on Mesa over Palomar. I have never attended a school where 95% of the teachers rate my professor reviews are awful. It’s not even like there are mixed reviews it’s people over and over saying “do not take this class with this teacher” but all the teachers for this class have reviews like this you have to settle with someone who has adult reviews. And it shows in their teaching MASSIVELY. I don’t know what’s wrong with this school and why their faculty are so bad at their jobs, but I highly suggest NOT attending this school. It’s one of my biggest regrets, Palomar and SBCC were AMAZING in comparison. Even if the location is convenient it’s just not worth it. I am not getting a quality education here. Do not attend this school.
