Jenna This campus is beautiful and overall my experience has been great here. Some of the teachers are a little too much with their opinions on society and pushing how they feel on their students is the only downfall here. It can become redundant and a bit annoying when you dont think the same way they do.

jay desai Terrible experience. I wanted to go study in Chico University but they wouldn’t accept my international transcripts. They gave dumb reasons like “stamps on the transcripts from two different schools are the same” even though the lady who reviewed them doesn’t speak a single word of the language the stamps are written in! They were not the same!!!!! They claimed that I forged those transcripts even though CSU Sacramento accepted those exact same transcripts!!! Terrible experience all in all. The international admissions staff there were unfriendly, unhelpful and unqualified. They should be retrained on how to do their job better, so they don’t give this kind of experience to other students. Thankfully I kept my Sacramento application active, so I can go there instead.

Blaino Wells One of the most beautiful campuses in all of California. Excellent value in education coupled with small class sizes and Full Professors with PhDs. Good School. Great town environment and reasonable cost of living. Wildcat Recreation Center is amazing!

Isaiah Submitting documents is a complete nightmare through their canvas type of software which your grade depends on. The formating of documents constantly converting to docx from microsoft word which with their laptop does not activate ever, (i tried for hours) desperately trying to submit my document i spent DAYS on is a hopeless nightmare. Learning coding and submitting assignments is a soulgrinding crawl with many bumps and stop signs along the way. Its not straightforward and when you work and have limited time its no wonder many are discouraged and heartbroken and drop from this college. Always a new project with little or no guidence. Frustrating frustrating and hopefully its not all in vain. Thats kind of my experince at butte college. Then after that i have the gas station crawl all night where many customers are rude, degrading and terrible. It would be great to have tutors that help you complete your modules rather than HIDE answers and expect you to know things you dont know it just seems so inaccessable and pointless. Im ok with education but i dont think id reccomend butte with the constant nightmares and potholes and new bad suprises in the way. Thats my experience. I would not do this again thats for sure.
