Anonymous Coward Dont. Its not what it used to be. Expect to be screwed by the academic advisor you didnt know you had. Enjoy the prison like dorm experience and garbage food youre required to pay for. Embrace the campus security that exists entirely to write parking tickets, because you arent paying enough already. Hope your vehicle isnt broken into or vandalized, because they wont do anything about it, but they will threaten you. Its all about the money, which also neatly describes Vallejo and Solano county. Dont come here. I cant say east coast options are better, but theyd have to work hard to be worse.

Scott CSU Maritime is an amazing educational institution. The campus is beautiful. They have top of the line training facilities with some of the best maritime simulators in the world. Their engineering program is bar none. Every CMA graduate that wants a job will find a job, and will probably find a good job. CMA has a broad course selection ranging from navigation sciences to engineering and international business. Recently CSU Maritime merged with Cal poly San Luis Obispo. Im confident this will make the school even better.

DanicaDaki Leonarda This community college really helped me get back on my feet, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Compared to the other local colleges I’ve attended, this one stands out in every way. The faculty are passionate about their subjects and genuinely care about their students success. Most of the professor I’ve had has been not only knowledgeable but also approachable and kind. The campus atmosphere is peaceful and quiet—perfect for focusing on your studies. The dorms are clean and comfortable, although, like much of California, the cost of living is on the higher side. That said, the sense of community here more than makes up for it. Whether it’s the staff, professors, or fellow students, everyone is respectful, supportive, and easy to get along with. If youre looking for a college with a welcoming environment, quality education, and a calm place to grow, this is definitely worth considering.

Tamar Weir Great local college with lots of affordable options. If you’re continuing student, they make it very easy. Or if you’re just somebody in the community Who wants to take a few classes for fun and enrichment. They also help you with that process. Ive been taking a few ceramic classes here and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel like it’s a very good space with great resources, and just a delight. I recommend this class for lots of people and the school.

Mumy Litz I came to this college feeling empty but when I left after years of studying and tutoring, I was full of knowledge. I had my confidence again. I had help from everyone; the English center worked tirelessly with me to correct my essays and the tutors in the math center with their big support for me to understand my statistics assessments.....this is just to name a few. In this college, when you are dedicated, you will get all that you need because they have all the right people to help you.

William I applied for six schools to continue my education seeking an MBA and I must say Touro University was the best hands down. Kim Strickler was there each and every time I had a question and ensured the transition was painless. I am excited to say I will be an upcoming graduate of such a dedicated school and continuing my education at a place that truly cares for their students. Make this an easy choice if looking at potential schools. I did, why dont you?

maya stephen TUW has exceeded my expectations so far. Not only is communication direct and smooth, the assistance from enrollment counselors like Kim, and academic advisors, is excellent. I begin classes in late August but have been guided in a sense that I feel comfortable and confident about beginning my first term in the Masters of Arts in Family and Marriage Therapy program. From financial aid to registration, TUW staff is there for you along the way. I attended a small private college for 2 years and a public state college for 2 years. Similar to the small college, TUW is available for help and seems to truly care about the success of their students.

Meghan Hansford Classes in the Grad School of Education provide practical information relevant to the classroom. They have a library that is always open, and a number of relevant focus areas for todays teachers. However, theyre overrun with bureaucratic drivel removing students from their program multiple semesters in, due to their own clerical oversights during admission and have had people other than the professor run classes. The syllabus and rubrics wont always match up and youll be denied a grade. Dont ever expect to get the benefit of the doubt, and never delude yourself into thinking anyone there cares whether or not you are successful. You will hit wall after wall with them unless you are the quintessential student without any outside responsibilities or any interference from real life. In short, it is a decent program as long as you dont expect to matter as a human being or a teacher.

6.Napa Valley College McCarthy Library

Address: 2277 Napa Vallejo Hwy, Napa, CA 94558

(6) Reviews Napa Valley College McCarthy Library:

Matt Matt The building itself is very fancy, but this library can get noisy. People sometimes have long phone conversations in the middle of the library. There are some classrooms in the library as well, and some of the professors refuse to close their classroom doors. This means everyone in the library has to listen to the lecture theyre giving. As with most college libraries, many students come here to socialize, watch YouTube videos, or just sit with an open book in front of them while they spend an hour on their phone looking at Facebook.

Angelina A Excellent seating space (although it gets full quick)! Many books and computers! They even have individual rooms you can check out for a little while.

Rob Schillinger Nice library, friendly and available staff. Decent selection - they make it easy to get books from the surrounding libraries and to return them as well. Nice facilities, clean restrooms, available study rooms, many computers and study areas.

P E G A Watch out for their predatory behavior. Theyll make you "reserve a seat" by paying $50 (non-refundable). Then theyre even harder to get ahold of because they have like 60 students they had "reserve a seat". Theyll then have you either accept or decline a federal loan if you cant get a Pell grant. When you call their Financial Aid office theyre often confused, a little pushy to "accept or decline" without any real help, and they seem like they dont really care either way. They also dont have a set curriculum for DMS so working out the actual cost of the year is incredibly difficult. Its also a total of 40K for the DMS program. They make it seem like the tuition is a total of 20k but thats just one school year not the entire program. Theyre school portal is ONE GIANT MESS. It constantly glitches, fails, or is just inefficient and outdated. For examples they have an email list as a group chat for the entire program alumni. What???? Lol their protocols are from the early 2000s. This university could be better but its chosen not to.
