Steph Peters I will preface this review by saying Ive been coming to the Boca Nail Bar for at least 4 years now and the service has always been great, however my experience yesterday was so bad that I will never come back. I had my first dip manicure two weeks ago and it came out beautifully, my nail tech listened to my preferences and I was very pleased with the outcome. He was diligent, kind, and didnt rush at all. Yesterday my nail tech quite literally ripped my old dip manicure off my hands. What she didnt rip off, she scraped off with what looked to be a nail tip. Mind you, my nails hadnt been soaking in anything before scraping it off and ripping off my natural nail length. She didnt listen to my shaping preferences and she cut so deep into my cuticles that they bled on multiple fingers. They are still sore and hurt every time I wash my hands. Im sure my nail beds are damaged and it will take time for them to heal. She was clearly rushing and in the end I wasnt totally in love with my nails like I usually am. If you choose to come here, please avoid any nail tech that is rough with your nails. Im not coming back here because I dont think my nails can handle another round with this nail tech (I dont know her name unfortunately).

Mariana Mejia My new favorite salon! I got my nails done here about a month ago, I was driving by after getting Starbucks in the same plaza (big perk in my eyes), and I decided to give it a chance. I could not have been happier with the experiences. I entered with an hour to close and I felt like a VIP client, there was no rushing, my conversation flowed with Lillie, and she made my nails looks absolutely perfect. She is a perfectionist, constantly looking up close at the nails from every angle to make sure there is no defect. On top of all that, the salon is perfection. It is the complete opposite from salons with posters all over the walls or waterfalls and painted ceilings, I feel like I can truly relax here because the workstations are completely clear and the space feels pristine, I swear you could eat off any surface there lol

Jessica P Lesia does an Excellent Russian Manicure, shes fun and professional, and someone like me who has No patience, she makes the 2hrs enjoyable.

Sahar Bari They dont do what you ask them to. My manicure was great, but the woman that did my pedi put barely any effort into it. Asked her to cut my nails shorter, she kept saying no more! She also didnt do any skin smoothing which normally comes with it. Not too happy and wont go back. Then she had the audacity to mention tip to make sure i add that to the payment on Venmo. Lol. Which i always do , but this time a tip wasnt well deserved for the pedicure. I did it anyway. And I think shes the owners sister. Done with this place.

Sofia Vasquez The lady that greeted us was super nice. The only thing I would complain about is the prices and the the service. I payed a total of $63+$10 tip for my gel manicure and regular pedi. The lady doing my nails was gossiping so much that she did not realize the dead skin she left on my feet. My friend(on the left of the photo) got a regular mani and pedi for $48+$7 tip. Not a bargain.

Nancy Oakland The chairs are too close, feels uncomfortable especially when the person next to you is loud and eating. These comments are about only one of the techs. Lame effort put into smoothing heals and under sides of feet. Used a scrub brush, 2 minutes on one foot and only left side on the other. Sloppy ! No assistance to put on sandals like everyone else causing damage the polish. Feels like a mill. No regard for appointments made for two, will put you wherever is convenient to keep the chairs full. Don’t go here if you want something special. My daughter’s pedicure was done correctly by a very nice tech. Would not recommend due to the overall, cheap experience and lack consistent quality service.

Britt Rash Oh my goodness!! If I could give them 100 stars, I would. I came here in TEARS. I am not someone who regularly gets my nails done BUT, my wedding was last month so I kind of needed to. I allowed a friend’s friend to do her thing for me & I was TOO NICE to complain but I left horrified, I asked for round she gave me a shape I don’t even know how to describe. I arrived to Majestic out of desperation because they are across from where I live. They catered to me with such warmth, kindness, & understanding & FIXED my horrific nails into something beautiful I was proud to wear for my wedding day. I came back tonight for my refill & I will be a recurring customer from here on out. THANK YOU SO MUCH - best part, this place is clean, gorgeous, & peaceful!!!! Anyone you get is talented & you will not leave unhappy! Love this place!!

alysha bonta If there were 0 stars I’d pick that. 1st the massage chair was broken and they wouldn’t move me to a working one even though there were several open. My toe nails were not cut evenly and the lady massage me for less than a minute, when she was done I looked down at my toes and I’m not being dramatic it look like a third grader painted them, some toenails weren’t all the way painted and there was paint all of my skin. Replying to owner yes it was that exact location. I did not have them put a topcoat on because you guys did not have the matte so when I got home, I put my own matte topcoat.

Arturo Chu Lovely place, looks freshly remodeled. Clean shop and nice staff with great massage chairs… I fell asleep. I had pedicure for an in grown nail attended to and they did a fantastic job. Friendly atmosphere with a nice staff. Will definitely come back.

Zaara Usmani The salon is beautiful, the staff is very nice. but the price does not match the services. I did a pedicure and nail extension. the work was done at the same time ... the nails turned out to be uneven. My opinion is that -a Master cannot do a good job if he does not sit at a special table and does not have a special light. My nails are very strange and the surface is very uneven. Now I do not know if I will go there a second time ... Although the salon is very nice and clean.

Marin Appel I had an amazing experience at the salon today! Andy did such a fantastic job with my nails. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Andy was super friendly and professional, taking the time to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied with every step of the process. L Hinds Andy gives the most incredible pedicures ! He incorporates reflexology pressure points as well, which was a bonus! It felt amazing ! He pays attention to detail and takes his time , I can’t wait to go back for a longer one! Aaron is amazing with nails , he always comes through with an ombré color combo that I love , I can never make up my mind, and I leave it up to him, they come out beautiful every time . He’s amazing at shaping , designs , and detailed orientated . The spa is very clean , sterile , relaxing , I love going here !

Jessica Marie My friend and I went in for a pedicure and service was horrible. They had us in there for more then 2 hours for just a pedicure. They tried to have my friend pay before her finishing and everyone else was able to wait til they were done. Of course I said no to paying early because I would like to see the finish product before but it was just overall ridiculous. Switched people while doing my pedicure, just overall worst experience. Paid my pedicure service but will not be coming back again.

Jessica Rosefield I had a polish change. The woman was incredibly rough with me, grabbing me by the ankle, squeezing my foot. I had to come here for a quick polish change for an event in between my regular pedicure. My first experience with another woman wasnt terrible but i felt I could give them another chance. I wont be back.

Thais Amorim This place is horrible. After 2 days after the service my nails started to peel. Lady that does pedicure has no clue of what she doing and the owner told me to comeback some "other time" so she can fix it for me. Tons of great places in town this one is definitely not worth it

Antonella OMG my hairdresser recommended this spot to me because I’ve had multiple terrible nail salon experiences and she recommended Sophia and Alex, I got the pleasure of meeting Sophia and she was AMAZING super gentle, understanding and did everything I wanted to. Exceeded my expectations for sure!

Gina McHugh Horrendous. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the WORST nail service I have ever received in my life. I went to Thuy? I think her name was. She put my nails on crooked, I asked her to fix twice and I stopped asking when I realized this was the best it was going to get. $70 for this. Do YOU think this looks good? The gel x is literally still wet under my nails, the gel on top is still wet. The French white part is THICK. I just have no words.

Kaaren Terpack I’ve been to at least five other nail salons in East Boca and Utopia is the best! They are very friendly and welcoming, they work hard, and my nails always look good. I feel like I get what I pay for. And they just got new pedicure chairs. I love nail art, so I go to Dan the Man, and get beautiful hand painted nail art. Literally art!!!! I’ve seen other technicians in there who are also very talented.

Michaela Zemantic Finally found good nail techs in Boca! I have tried about every place in the area and this one has won me over. My nail tech listened and did exactly what I wanted. Nails came out great! No chipping, lumps or uncured, peeling polish here (which always seems to happen to me) very well priced for what I wanted. The salon itself is very clean and well kept. Ladies were all very friendly and it’s quiet which is my favorite part.

Andirica Beguin Absolutely love Vee! She’s taken care of my nails so well since I started with her. My nails are strong and healthy and withstand my bumps and bangs while I bartend. I highly recommend Vee and her skillfully done liquid gel sets. My nails are back to a healthy but cute medium length and I’ve never been happier

Mary Maitland I just arrived in Boca Raton and needed my nails done. They were so sweet and gracious to fit me in without an appt. Ximena was my nail stylist and did a beautiful work on my nails. Everyone was so friendly and happy there very welcoming place. I would definitely recommend this place. The treat was meeting Leo the handsome Pomeranian. :)

Imtyaz Amin This spa is worth a try. The staff is super friendly and they take their time with you. Not like other spa i have been to where they look to get you in an out in a hurry. Yen was my technician and she did an amazing job. I have ugly hands and i bite my nails, she made me feel so relaxed when she did my pedi and when she did my hands she took her time and i felt so comfortable.

Taylor Tompkins To all my girlies and guys who want an HONEST review, read this all. I have been going to 5th ave Nails for about 6 to 7 years now. They do an excellent job on your nails and even if something doesn’t turn out perfect, or it breaks a few days later, they will ALWAYS fix it if you just ask them. Everyone there will always answer your questions and will always do their best job to satisfy your needs and wants. Every time I have had a problem with my nail, they ALWAYS fix it for me (coming from a girlie who gets long AND short nails). Every tech there deserves a 5 star themselves. As long as you are openly talking to the tech, who is doing your nails, about what you’re looking for i’m sure they will come out stunning, like mine always do. michelle levy When I visit Fifth Ave Nails, they always treat me like family. The managing staff and the nail pros are all the best of the best. I schedule with Kevin every time and he is a master at his art. I have done simple nude or funny bunny nails and I also have also requested customized design or special occasions…he is creative and meticulous in his work! Notably, not everybody can hand design deer antlers on the spot and he nailed it!! Annie is my daughter’s preferred artist and she does all of the intricate and detailed designs she challenges her to with absolute precision. Customer service is top notch and the manager Katie is literally a ray of sunshine to brighten up any day. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of work they do, the wonderful customer service, and the experience altogether. I am a loyal customer, locked in for life!!

Natalia Barbery I’ve gotten two manicures with B already, and she does not disappoint! Both times, I got a French manicure, and she executed it exactly how I wanted. She’s super careful with the nails, takes her time, and is incredibly detail-oriented. B makes sure you’re happy with the result, showing different options and double-checking that you get exactly what you want. On top of that, she always has a great attitude, making the experience even better. Highly recommend her!

Yasmary Alexandra I honestly expected a lot better from this salon since I had heard from so many people that it has good nail techs, usually no wait time and reasonable prices. I got my nails done on 11/10 with my friend and I didn’t think my nails were bad. I asked for basic almond shape bubble bath pink next gen dip nails. When I got outside I saw my nails in better light and noticed that there was hardened dip powder all around my nails on my cuticles everywhere and they were connected to the dip powder on my actual nails not just little dots that accidentally fell on the cuticle. I got home and made sure to wash my hands really well to get off the excess powder all around all of my nails. 3 days later I started to feel like my nails were going to pop off, and i started to look really closely and noticed my nails were different thicknesses on each finger and are starting to lift and get caught in my hair. I honestly expected better usually my dip nails last me 2-3 weeks 4 if applied well. I honestly don’t recommend coming to this salon unless you do your research to see who the best nail tech for you would be. My nail tech just happened to not have done a good job but that doesn’t mean the other nail techs won’t do a great job. (As you can see in the pictures my nails are lifting all around the edges and are each different thicknesses)

Mimi as my tech and I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and this is what I got The paint is messy my nail has lumps in it not only that it also has hair in the nail and she also cut me and the price is also very high for This poor service I had to pay 70 dollars for this.

A.L. Harris Beautiful salon and very clean. Made an appointment on line and it was so easy… absolutely no stress or pressure. Confirming texts were sent and when I arrived for my appointment the nail technician was running late. I had a nice manicure and was very happy. Nice choice of new polish was available.

Emilie Witte What I asked for vs what I got. Tiffany did my nails tonight and was great at first, but quickly got defensive and wouldn’t do what I requested. Several times I asked her to add more glitter and to carve out the french tip more to look like the photo, but she just got annoyed and defensive. I’m a people pleaser so I eventually just stopped trying. I should’ve just had her take it off and left. $75 for nails I don’t like. I’ve been here several times and it’s the same problem of feeling like an inconvenience because the staff just wants their money and doesn’t care about you.

Marc Horowitz I followed my nail technician (that’s such an odd title) from her former nail salon, where she did my nails for more than 15 years. Her name is Tammy, but she is now called Kelly, as there already was a Tammy in the shop. Tammy/Kelly is outstanding. That’s all that can be said as she truly is awesome. She provides great manicures and her pedicures are the best I’ve ever had. Having type 2 diabetes, it’s critical that my nails be properly maintained. Her sister, Amy, also works in the shop, and she is as professional as Tammy/Kelly. They both work fast but are efficient. And they don’t engage in idle chit chat. The shop is spotless, well managed. It runs like clockwork. The air is well ventilated. My former shop always had an issue with fumes. Not here. And they use liners in the pedicure basins. If you come here ask for Amy or Kelly. And you’ll be pleased.

Cristina Cheing I’ve been coming here for a while; my mom and sister do too. Overall, a great salon if you know who to go to, a bit pricey but in a good location. They get busy midday, so do your best to set an appointment. Clean environment. I highly recommend Jessica, and I’m sure there are other talented technicians too. Avoid Michael at all costs. I knocked two stars off because of him, but my experiences aside from him were good. The good: Jessica is the absolute best! Had my first ever dip set done by her. If this review was for Jessica only, she would absolutely get five stars. I booked for her today at 4pm, arrived 15 minutes early and she took me in immediately. The almond shape she did on me is perfect and she is very precise, and gentle. She is easy to talk to and tell her about corrections/preferences. She took lots of care in taking off my old acrylic set (which you’ll read about below) and cleaned up my cuticles nicely. My natural nail wasn’t damaged afterwards. I was charged 66$ for a dip set with tips, cuticles cut and acrylic take off. My friends have also came to this salon and said that as long as the work is done by women, they have never been let down. Their nails have came out looking nice, which is why I continued to come back and give this salon a shot after my initial experiences. The owners seem sweet, and gave me a price breakdown when asked. My mom and sister are fond of their experiences here. The bad: Don’t get your nails done with Michael, had a terrible experience (to the point where I would really suggest asking for a new tech if you happen to walk in and he’s who you are placed with.) I’ve been placed with him twice- first time for a gel builder fill. Michael thought I asked for an acrylic set and I attempted to correct him once I saw him take out the acrylic tools, but he rolled his eyes and didn’t acknowledge me. He then proceeded to put nail glue under lifting polish, which ended up staining my nail. At this point, I had grown out my nails very long and I was frustrated that he put glue on them and dirt ended up getting stuck on it, leaving me with a black spot on my nail. I kindly complained and was handed off to Tim, and Michael threw his hands up in frustration once he was made aware I wanted a gel builder set. Tim was great and I walked away happily, but the experience with Michael ruined my day. Second time I got stuck with Michael for an acrylic set, this was the worst acrylic set I’ve ever gotten. I asked for a short/medium length almond shape french acrylic set, with tips. He had to remove my old gel on my nails, in which he drilled into my nail bed and it hurt. I felt like he didn’t care about my nail health. When he applied the acrylic powder, he put so much on my nails and it dripped down to the sides and under. He used the drill to attempt to remove it from the sides and underneath the nail, which ended up cutting my skin and I bled. The acrylic was left very thick and there was some leftovers under my nails. The gel polish itself was very bumpy and thick. He somehow forgot that I asked for french and then cured top coat gel over the french base, which I complained about and he sloppily drew on some french lines while visibly annoyed, huffing and puffing. The almond shape was ridged, and the nails ended up looking like bird talons, no apex to be found. Anytime I spoke up, he rolled his eyes and ignored me, there were no corrections and he actually wouldn’t even acknowledge what I said or asked for (I promise, I was really nice and respectful, I hate inconveniencing others.) I was in a rush, I ended up leaving his work alone and walked away extremely upset. The polish change he gave me was also subpar, the polish was just messy but it wasn’t painful. I didn’t complain to the owners or manager or anyone because the following day I got onto a cruise for a week, so I wouldn’t have had the time to come in to get them fixed, and he had already taken an hour and a half to give me the messiest acrylic set ever.

Stormy Hampton Being my first time here. I was excited about the positive reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience. I wanted acrylic. Linda did them. They look fine. But she hurt my cuticles and the surrounding tissue of my nails. They are throbbing today. Lynn did the French paint on them. She honestly could have done better. I believe they rushed. I would have gladly waited for an appt. Instead of this painful rush job. Everyone was really nice. I wanted to find a nail salon home so badly.

Jasmine Hinds I do not recommend this location, the colors don’t match the book and they said they cannot guarantee colors, first time i’ve heard that at a nail salon. I ended up just doing white since that was the easiest option, she got gel polish all over my cuticles that I can’t take off or the polish peels. The gel application was not even and it’s noticeable so some spots are full white with some spots lighter white.

Enbal Sabag The best nail salon in Boca Raton! I frequently see Joly here for pedicures and dip powder manicures. My sister sees her for gel manicures and very happy with those as well. I have attached some examples of manicures she’s done for me. She always has good ideas for me to change things up a bit with my nails but keep with a style she knows I’d like (especially when I have a hard time choosing a color!). She is very talented, patient, accommodating, friendly, clean, and takes her time to make sure her clients are happy with the work she does. The work is very high quality and remains on for 3 weeks. I usually only take it off because it grows out. It never chips or cracks. The salon has many colors and options to choose from. I have also seen Linda and her daughter and they are both very good as well.

lian attias Love love love lily nail spa. The best at what they do. And the price!!! The best in boca! I leave feeling brand new and so happy about my nails. I’ve been here for over 5 years and never have been more loyal because of the quality and professionalism displayed by them. The quality is outstanding and everyone should be heading over here. I just hope they still have availability for me;)

Diana Abadir Today, I went to the nail salon for the first time. Nancy, the technician, did my nails, and she was absolutely amazing. The only issue was that she is very slow, but she is extremely professional. When I finished and went to pay, I used Apple Pay. Nancy needed help, so she asked Lynn for assistance (I learned Lynn’s name from others calling her). Unfortunately, Lynn was very rude to both me and Nancy. She spoke in an unprofessional and impolite manner, saying, “Do you have the card?” I replied, “No.” Then she said harshly, “You have to click to pay; otherwise, I’ll have to repeat the steps on the machine again!” Lynn was so rude, and despite me asking her multiple times to wait because I was paying with my phone, she showed no patience. After I completed the payment, she didn’t say thank you or even smile. Instead, she walked away to her client with an angry expression. To make matters worse, her client mocked me as well. It was such a rude and unpleasant experience. I’m not sure if I want to go back to that salon, even though I really loved Nancy.
