Ashley Rossfield Im actually a student here (or I was last year) in the electrical class. As far as my studies here went, the course was well planned and provided me with a good knowledge of my choose field. Riveroak has quite a few career based courses to choose from for adult students. They also offer dual enrollment courses for high school students. To name a few they offer: automotive tech, welding, LPN (nursing), medical coding, pharmacy technician, electrician, CNA, PCT, surgical tech, childcare, administrative medical assistant (I believe is how its put), phlebotomy, construction, masonry, culinary arts, nail tech, cosmetology... And more. They have adult education courses for GED and ESL students. They do offer some evening and night courses or they did... Not sure about now though with the pandemic. You should definitely check them out if youre interested.

Anna-Belle Howard I’ve come here a few times to get my hair cut. Wendy is excellent. She always gives me exactly what i want for a great price. She’s has excellent with costumer service. I always feel comfortable and welcomed when she does my hair.

April Bauder Wendy (I am terrible with names, I hope that is right. Forgive me. I am going by the other posts naming her.) I just know her friendly face, beautiful smile, and amazing heart. She always makes time for me. The shop is always clean. She interacts and talks with her clients and though I dont get a chance to get my haircut often, she always remembers me and asks about what is happening. The prices are extremely reasonable and you always get what you want.

Brandon Bellas Tammi is amazing. My son has been going to her for quite some time to get his haircut. Not very many barbers have the patience nor can they cut a hair on A toddler crying and do a good job. We recently booked my wife to get her haircut and waxing and she was able to squeeze me in for a haircut and beard trim. I haven’t had nothing but bad experiences with barbers in stylist in the past. She has changed the way I feel and now I have found Someone I can truly count on to do a Great job. My wife loves her trim and waxing. We love her for all her hard work and dedication and will always continue To get cuts and styles From her in the future.

Heather Bishop I came in as a walk in and i didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes. I have super LONG thick hair that I never put more than 5 minutes of effort into, but Monique knew the assignment! She gave me a gorgeous cut with face framing layers and a beautiful style to start my weekend off right! I left feeling optimistic about other changes I could make in my life, motivated to invest some TLC in myself. What an impact a great stylist can make! Danielle I was desperate to get my hair cut so I decided to give Smartstyle a try. Lets just say, I wont be going back. The stylist I got wasnt exactly rude, but she also wasnt in any way friendly. She barely spoke two words to me. I got a basic trim, wanting to keep my layers, and Im glad I didnt ask for anything extensive, because with the lazy way she cut my hair, Im almost certain she would have messed it up if I had asked for anything else. The layers dont look great. Theyre also a bit uneven. But I have insanely thick hair, so lucky for me, its pretty hard to mess it up. The cut doesnt look terrible by any means, it was just a really sloppy job. My hair hardly feels any different, and with as thick as my hair is, when I get it cut it usually feels ten times lighter. The cut wasnt the worst part. For me, it was just... how disgusting this salon looked. It was NASTY. The counters look like theyve never been cleaned. There was clutter on them, and I could barely see over it, to look in the mirror. It smelled. And I can only imagine if the outside appearance looks THAT bad, that the tools they use to cut your hair arent clean either. I felt so gross after leaving that place. I went right home and took a shower. Basically, moral of the story, no matter how quickly I want a cut, its worth it to wait for a higher end salon appointment. You get what you pay for at this salon. I dont recommend it.

Amy Fuentes This place is very unprofessional I went and asked for a regular hair dye service highlights and lowlights. Sam recommended Taylor. But when Taylor finishes I was left with a brown ring I asked could she fix it in a very nice manner. She said come back in a hour so I did she was late so another employee Star tired fix it but made it worse adding blonde streaks and gaps in my hair. So then I asked for my money back and I was blocked by both of the girls. Sam also blocked me. When both Star and Taylor halfed my money. Very unprofessional business I will never go back there. All I wanted was it fixed I wasted two times already and 8 hours and was told go back the 3rd time when another girl was going to try fix it and because I was 8 minutes late she refused to fix it. All I wanted was my money back excluding the chemicals. This place hires just anyone to do hair and I was iqnored and blocked once I asked for my money. I’m reporting this business also to better business bureau. Down below is my hair before and after and what I asked for. terrible employees I was not handled correctly even when I was very polite about the whole situation once I was blocked this became a different matter! There is a right way to handle your mistakes this was not done like that at all. Now before my sons birthday party I have gaps everywhere. Beware because this is a regular hair dye service if you can’t do this might want try a new job. It looks ok down but when I put it up or in a bun looks terrible moon keeps there hair down 24 7 waste of time and money and bad business

Tracie Bell My family and I used Penny Geiger for several years. She always did an excellent job! I have curly hair and not every hairstylist can cut curly hair but I could count on her to do a great job every single time. She always put my mind at ease. I miss her since she moved.

Touchton Lainie Ive been going to Amanda for waxing for about 3 years now. She is amazing! She eases a shy clients discomfort and provides an almost painless Brazilian. When I was pregnant and my back was killing me, she made every effort to make me comfortable throughout my appointment and didnt make me feel bad for taking extra potty breaks. She is professional and takes extra care of her clients.

Kasey Frazier Great people who do great things!!!! I get all my waxing services done by Amanda, she makes you feel welcomed and very comfortable! Also, I only get my hair done by Samantha, SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I only have to get my hair touched up every 8-10 weeks compared to getting it touched up every 4-6 weeks by previous stylists. My hair has never been healthier!!! 10/10 would recommend

Kiana Williams This is the best salon in the north/central Florida area. I love the employees ESPECIALLY Samantha! Not only does she do a fantastic job on my hair everytime I go, the staff is all very professional and personable! And when I say a fantastic job, I mean that Ive never had anyone else do such an amazing job coloring and cutting my hair just the way that I want it! They dont just do a good job, they talk you through the process so that if makes sense to you. Dont think twice! Make an appointment!!!!

Morgan Coleman I went to get my hair extensions wash and blow dried then get a hairstyle which was just it loose curls and they didnt fully wash my extensions and she ripped the corner of my extension, the lady didn’t use any heat protection and my hair wasn’t fully curled at all… I did call before to make sure they could do all the things I wanted done to my hair before going and the assured me they could and I was very let down by there service

Morgan Armstrong I’ve been to Linda Lentz several times this year and have had great experiences every time! She listens to my requests and takes her time while cutting my hair. When she applied my color, she made sure to cover my stubborn gray but also not leave a giant color stain on my skin. She has been very accommodating with my schedule and has even worked me in on short notice. Highly recommend!

Hulu Muffins They are LIARS. This place has their employees post fake reviews to draw in business. BEWARE, the employees are rude and dont care about their clients. They will book you for appointments and give you incorrect products and dont care. Have a friend that was booked and they canceled the appointment upon arrival. I know businesses that charge money for you cancelling without advanced notice. Maybe they wouldnt be so quick to turn down clients if they were charged for wasting peoples time. Future idea for those booking appointments here, I have heard of lawsuits against people and businesses for having their time wasted, might not be a bad idea to check with a lawyer before booking your appointment here because they will definitely waste your time.

Kim Weaver So unhappy about this place. Been wanting to try the spa and had a perfect opportunity last week to try it with my daughter. Tried to make an appt but the girl had no clue that a regular French tip Mani/Pedi was. Didnt want gel, didnt want acrylics just plain old-fashioned nail polish. Told the girl in the phone that I needed 2 appts but she wasnt understanding what I wanted so I told her Id have my daughter call to schedule. Well, my daughter texted after the call said she wasnt sure but she thought we had 2 appts but she wasnt sure because the girl doing the scheduling was rude to her. I told her that Im at the age that I just dont do rude, I called my usual place, pretty nails, to make sure they had 2 openings, booked with them then called the spa back and cancelled. So sad because Id wanted to try the spa since they opened.
