KaSandra Bowden Wendy took her time and talked to me about what I wanted with my hair, she then made my hair dreams come true! To go from super dark brown to this beautiful sunset coloration took all day, and she made love to my hair the entire day with Olaplex. My hair feels the same, if not better even after lightening for almost two hours!!! And that was AFTER she painstakingly painted a pound, yes, 16oz, of lightener into my hair. I have a ton of hair. And holy moly Im blown away by what she did. I will only be going to Wendy from now on! And she even got me hooked on an amazing product called Olaplex!

Explore With Us Reviews I came on April 30 2024 after being referred by a coworker. I will say this is one of the best fades I have ever gotten. The ladies are who work there are amazing and very friendly. The haircuts start at $15 for military and are high quality and I even got a hot towel placed on my head at the end which was beyond relaxing. Definitely the best barber in Crestview, I’ve paid double and nearly triple in the area with the cut being lopsided or just no effort really put in, show these great hair stylist some love and become their new customers you will not regret it. Courtney Hyatt Ms. Hollie did absolutely amazing on my son’s first haircut and he is on the spectrum and we did not know how he was going to do and she was very very patient with him and talked to him through the whole thing. Not only did she give me a true curly cut by cutting it dry and washing/styling afterwards, but I’ve been following her “prescribed” routine for a few weeks now and my hair has improved so much!! Sherri Johnson I chose this place based on high ratings when I decided I needed to go back to short hair. I was not disappointed! When I called in to request an appointment and the owner answered, they were the most beautiful soul I ever spoke to. He even recommended a specific hair stylist for the cut I explained!! Mai (the stylist) was also a sweetheart. She took an image of a haircut I had in the past and skillfully recreated it even though the picture I had as reference was poor quality! Talking to her was a pleasure and she wasnt upset at me when I talked too much (in my opinion) or when I held my head in the wrong way. Honestly in my 29 years of life I think it was the most pleasant cut Ive ever had! I wanted to add a picture to this rating because I was so impressed with this cut but my husband pointed out I shouldve done that at the salon. Christia L I told the stylist to keep as much length as possible. Some how she managed to cut off 6 inches because she couldnt get the face framing correct and kept hacking away. Ultimately, I had to have my mom even out my hair because of the butcher job the stylist did.

Christian Leftridge I think the before and after speaks for itself but I had an amazing experience with Essence salon! Everyone was so warm and welcoming from the second I walked through the door. Hailey listened to all my concerns and walked through each step of the process before and during the appointment. She also gave recommendations for products and tips to keep my hair healthy and happy. They are also super great about responding to texts or calls when I have had any questions or even when I needed to reschedule my appointment. I am extremely happy with my decision to go to this salon!

REILLY MCINTIRE Extremely Unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment with Lisa for yesterday at 8:30am. She did not show for the appointment, and when I called her she said she had forgotten about the appointment and rescheduled me for today at 9am. Today I showed up for my appointment and again, no one came up here. I texted her. Nothing. I called and she picked up the line, then hung up. I called again, and left a voicemail. Today is a Sunday, and no one else is open for walk in or appointments. I have been to this salon one other time, and the experience was fine, but after this run around mess I will not be returning or ever recommending it.
