I was hesitant at first since my mom is a client of hers and I wasnt sure if she did mens hair too, but I tried it out and she did an awesome job - I made the switch over to be a regular client right away! She is also as friendly & professional as one can be. Her salon is private, spacious and very clean - all around 10/10 recommend. My dad is even client of her now as well!

Cate McLean Vanessa provides exceptional hair coloring and styling services. I visited with her for the first time a few weeks ago and couldnt be happier with the way she transformed my curly locks. She used only non-toxic and organic hair care products, which brought my dull hair back to life after 12 months without a proper cut or color. She took her time and was very thorough, and also gave me some pointers that I never knew on how to style my hair -- resulting in a huge convenience and time saving factor for me. (Now I can style my hair at night, sleep on it and wake up with ringlets!) Also, I find myself using less shampoo and conditioner because I am able to get more than one day out of a wash. Ruja E Cole has been my hair stylist since 2016. I was referred to her by a co-worker and I never looked back. I highly recommend Cole for haircuts, bang trims, balayage and hair coloring. I’ve referred three people to her over the years and they’ve all been repeat customers with her as well. She is an artist and magician who knows what your hair needs and makes it happen. Diane McCarthy Nicole is a true artist. I have very curly hair on bottom with straight on top. She used several techniques on me resulting in a great cut for my hair. Also grows out very well. Highly recommend her!!

Kia Sarah was so amazing. Sweet as can be. I do double process of bleach and toner and she did both beautifully. She made recommendations to make it look even better. Then to top it off gave me the cutest cut ever! Ive had it take several hours at other salons for the same service but I was in and out and 100% satisfied. Prior to setting up my appointment, I asked David Michael what precautions the salon has taken (due to health reasons). What he told me made me feel comfortable, so I set up an appointment. I was impressed with ALL of the precautions, masks & sanitizing put in place by Shine Hair Design Studio owners David Michael & Mamie, along with staff. Clients/staff were all wearing masks. This salon already had much more space between stylists stations vs other salons I used to go to. By adding the large sheets of nice plastic between each stylists & shampoo bowls, it still gives plenty of space for client/stylist while maintaining social distancing from other clients/stylists/nails. Their other services (nails, etc) were also set up nicely. Don’t hesitate to call David Michael (or your stylist, nail tech, etc) for an appointment. I personally highly recommend David Michael for his excellent cuts, colors & styling, along with his kindness & caring about his clients.
