symone smith Just got them done yesterday, they charged me 85 for them and it looks like I need a fill already. They looked good with the oil on them. This is a new set, he laid this acrylic with no care whatsoever. My feet and eyebrows are great. Spent over 200 with them and will not be going for Mh nails again.

alondra ortiz when I walked in, there was only one person on the list waiting for a regular wax. So I decided to wait because their was only one person ahead of me. I been here over an hour waiting to get my eyebrows waxed and she went and took an extra person that was not on the list and then adding services when that’s not what they listed on the sign in sheet. It’s been more then a hour waiting and she is still with the same two clients. I got skipped over and people are adding services so your wait time is horrible here. Definitely would not recommend and will not be coming back

April Sieligowski I hadnt been to Monicas in years because I moved. However, everyone was booked and I was closer to their store so went to them for my daughters first ever acrylic nails for her first 9th grade homecoming dance. NEVER EVER AGAIN....Im going to include what she wanted pic, what she got pic, and quick fox job pic we had to do for now. Definitely learned my lesson. You want the real deal go to Euro Nails in Orange City. First what she wanted in the picture apparently is gel acrylic powder not a gel paint, wasnt explained this at Monicas (Li did her nails). Then what she actually got wasnt even gel paint!!! The best part of all this is the two middle nails looking like their about to come off her hand. They were all uneven not even the same length and I wont go into the cuticle fiscal. Horrible first experience for her. Thank God we could partially get them fixed!!

Siarra Williams Customer service was decent. The work was horrible. It must be their products because I’ve never had the whole design lift up off my nail before I’m only a week in. The pedicure was trash. I felt like the lady was playing with my feet rather than putting in work. They don’t listen to what you want …..if you do go here request Monica personally other than that don’t waste your time

The customer service was horrible lady who greeted me was very apathetic after letting her know I was looking to get a pedicure she sarcastically responded that the person who does pedicures is one vacation… you would think that a place that has no customers what so ever would try to get some business but this was not the case glad my money was not spent here good luck with the empty salon I do not recommend

Christine Fulton All I wanted was a dip color change. What I got was acrylic dip overlay. Li did my nails and they are lumpy mis-shapped and sloppy. Monica has clients who request her so shes not always open to take walk-ins.

Keisha Washington Asked for a gel overlay, they recommend powder dip. The woman filed my nails super short. I asked her not to and she continued to file them shorter. The owner/someone in charge came and said “they will grow back”. It’s short and bulky and looks terrible. Probably the worst experience I’ve had a nail shop.

Janet Orozco I went for the first time on Friday as it was close to home and my regular person was booked. Well let me tell you this is now my new go to place. Kim is amazing and hilarious! Super meticulous and detailed but not overly time consuming. I love love my nails. I got so many compliments on my nails over the weekend!!! Hands down, the best place I’ve been to here in Sanford (mind you, I’ve tried a lot!).

Oh Yes I have been going here for a couple years now I love my nails that they do for me it’s always a good experience and the environment is always great and the place smells nice unlike other places. Every time I go here they try their best to recreate the image I show them and always do a great job!

C. Dozier Hannah is always amazing takes my design ideas and elavates them. All the Nail tech are amazing here. My nails actually last when I get them done here.

Eunice Phelps I have visited my fair share of different nail salons over the years, and this one in Sanford is by far the best I have found! There are no frills or fluff, just great nails! They take their time and ensure that the nails you leave with are beautiful. Additionally, they have an adorable little teacup poodle named Rosie in the store, which is such a joy to see every time. I definitely recommend stopping by this place!

Kim Minors It was my first time visiting this nail spa, and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Hannah did an excellent job with my manicure using the SMS powder, and Hai did a wonderful job with my gel pedicure. I was very pleased with the services I received, and I will definitely be returning. They even offered me a complimentary bottle of water! They have a wide variety of colors to choose from, and their prices are very competitive compared to other nail spas. I highly recommend this nail spa to anyone looking for a great experience. They do accept walk-ins, but it is always recommended to make an appointment. They also offer waxing services as well!

Angel Alonso The salon is super clean, and organized. The instruments are sterilized after every use and Val is very knowledgable about nail care and health. I was super impressed with the quality of her products and the variety of services that are offered. I will definitely be coming back and sending my friends and family here. Kendra Reasoner-Banner I went there right when they switched owners… after a week something didn’t seem right with my toes.. so I took the gel polish off and saw this… I’ve waited to see if it would get better nothing got better.. my pinky toe nail fell off… and my big toe nails are nasty! Update: They replied saying I have never visited their location under their new management so I posted a picture of my transaction and I spent almost $200 with them!! What a shame they would try to hide it after I spent good money with them!!

Pauline Holcomb During my visit, I witnessed a concerning lack of service for African American women. After entering the salon, I was met with an argument among the staff about who would service my pedicure. Additionally, another African American woman who came in shortly after me was told there was no one available to assist her and was asked to return later, despite several manicurists sitting idle. Three Caucasian women and one Indian woman who entered the salon were immediately offered service. This pattern raises serious concerns about discriminatory practices at this establishment. I chose this salon for its convenience, being just five minutes from my home, but I can no longer support a business that appears to discriminate against clients based on their race. Moving forward, I will seek out an African American manicurist for my nail care needs. I urge the owner to reflect on these concerns to ensure all clients are treated fairly and with respect.

Hannah Stephens I don’t normally leave reviews but i felt i needed to after this experience. Got a pedicure and was super happy and the girl was great. I then was moved to Rosa for an acrylic set with tips and my experience was awful. First and foremost she was so rude and continuously complaining the entire time which made me extremely uncomfortable. She complained about anything and everything. She complained that i had too many cuticles. She complained about her coworker talking about wanting to go home. She complained i was moving too much. She then complained that i wasn’t positioning my hands well enough for her and that i was too stiff. Her biggest complaint was that she didn’t want to be there and that it was too steady she wanted to go home. She even joked about telling her boss she had diarrhea so she could go home, after she just complained about her coworker stating she wanted to go home. She continuously cut or burned my fingers when she was drilling the acrylic. I told her about a sensitive spot on my finger from a hang nail and asked if she could cut it or remove it with tools. She ignored the request and instead informed me she was probably gonna hurt it getting to my nails because of my outgrown cuticles. Worst of all, my thumb nails on each hand are different lengths. Paid too much money for such a bad experience. Again, none of this is reflective on the sweet woman that did my pedicure, only Rosa. Won’t be back.

Rochelle Skidmore Linda is amazing, and her nails are always perfect. The amazing thing is that she does her own nails, including amazing artwork. I believe sincerely since she wears nails, she fully understands how the nail should feel. She has now used 3 products on my nails to find what works best for me. I am not just another client to take money from. Thank you, Linda, for always giving me the perfect nails!

Kimberly Parker I just had the best pedicure ever at Platinum Nails. It exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail was incredible, and my nail technician , Gigi was thorough, ensuring every part of the process was relaxing and I was very impressed by how well she listened to my concerns. I have lot of issues with pain & having a pedicure was well overdue but I was dreading it. She is friendly it was a pleasant relaxing experience. I highly recommend her.

Sasha Eden Bad business practices/no organization. I’ve come here often and usually have an “okay” experience with relatively reliable product results in my final nail look. Lately the lack of consistency in pricing products is a turn off. $20 EXTRA for gel on a pedicure is insane. The lack of organization is getting to be a problem too. It’s obvious that there’s no communication between reception/scheduling and the nail techs. This has led to my last few services being rushed and shoddy work rather than quick and efficient. For this alone I’m done with this place. Today I asked for a stiletto nail shape only for my nails to be shaped incorrectly. I have an event and wanted long stilettos. I asked for it to be corrected and it’s “too late, there’s another client after you”. I have an appointment for acrylic fill and now the time isn’t there to correct errors made by the salon. So I asked for removal which I’ll still be charged for. I understand business is business but bad business will never get my money again. Good luck at this salon.

Chad Keppeler Vivid Nail Lounge is home! EVERYTIME you walk in the door Tony & Linda and the staff greet you sincerely and it’s like escaping to your own little oasis for a few hours. I never leave disappointed in my nails regardless of the service I choose. Dip or gel x. Nail art or shape. This salon gets it right every time! The pedicure services are spectacular. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and pampered. They pull out all the ammenities to make sure your experience is memorable. Prices are competitive and attention to detail is second to none. Personally I am a wild card with my designs and shapes and colors and they always accommodate. Vivid nail lounge will always be my go to salon. It’s home!

Nicolle Napolitano Vivid Nails was recommended by a family member. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and an absolutely beautiful salon. I was super excited to possibly have found a place that I could settle again. It was the day before my birthday and I had a specific look that I wanted so I asked for the owner, Tony (?). I had just finished a pedicure and was given excellent customer service. I expected nothing short of the same for my next experience… I was hesitant to post here because I’m not one to complain, however, I left completely frustrated. Tony proceeded to tell me that GELX was better than acrylic and I should give it a try & for whatever reason he convinced me and told me he could get the look in the last picture posted. As you can see by the pictures, that is NOT the look that I left with... I knew halfway in the process that it was not going to turn out ombre as I stressed my want and my nail color was not what was shown… I expressed that to him and he explained that “ everyone has their own technique “ so , I trusted the process. When he raised my pinky to ask me if I liked it, I point-blank told him I did not and things suddenly went quiet as he proceeded. I left out of the salon paying $175 and still even tipped them because I thought he did all the work, It would be the right thing to do. With this being said, I will never return for the way he let me leave his salon that day. As you can see by the video with no nails on, that’s the result of soaking off I even repainted them just to get me through a few weeks so I didn’t feel like my money was total waste. ( a lesson to myself). Gel X is not for me… Nor is vivid salon. I’ll let you be the judge of the pictures if you would’ve been an unhappy customer leaving that day as well…

House Work I always ask my nail Tech to surprise me with their work. I show them what kind of nails I love in pictures that I have and this girl didnt have any imagination. The girl that did my pedicure was very talkative and super nice. When Im about to pay, the girl that did my nails started counting the stones she had put on my nails...they charge you by each stones! Lost 98$ and Im NOT happy!!! Will not be going to them again, and will NOT recommend! So disappointed . The jell pedicure never turned jell !

Courtney Burrows Got my nails done by Laurie and met the owner Vicky! The salon was full of kind stylists and had a relaxing atmosphere. Laurie was responsive on instagram where I inquired about the designs on my nails I wanted. She was super helpful and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend! Overall, I got my old acrylic remover, a new set put on and a gel polish change on my toes! Price was very reasonable.

Haley Battung Blossom Nails is amazing! I went here to get a pedicure with my mom and sisters. They were able to accommodate us all at the same time and in seats next to each other. All our nail techs were so funny and we had a great time together. My nail tech, Cassie, was so sweet and she helped me select my nail color. I enjoyed the foot massage during my pedicure and my nails looked great. Cari was the best! Highly recommend going here!

I got the Saus behind nails of my life never again what I want to do business with them specially, when they’re desperate for money. rushing on my nails when it’s supposed to be a special day all I asked for a line to be put on top of already polished nails in. They charge me $20 talking about a pedicure when you never gave me a pedicure. All you did was put a line on my toes. This place is overcharging. They must be losing business cause the prices are going up and the work is not worth it.

Tamika Williams My mom, daughter and I went in for pedicures. The customer service was poor. We were rudely told to go to the back. Other than that, no one offered any direction or assistance. We sat ourselves down. A gentleman came and started working on my mom’s feet. My daughter and I just sat there being ignored for a 30 minutes. We decided at this point we would let my mom finish and leave. While we waited, we noticed 4 other ladies being directed and treated courteously. We left when my mom was finished. No one said a word. That was strange.

Wendy Turner Really wish I could give no stars. I just got my nails done by Ty and they are absolutely awful. Not at all what I asked for. Apparently he cannot do red french tips like I asked so he did “his hombre’” and it is so bad. He said he’s been doing nails for 25 years and I struggle to believe it. He forced me to stay in the pedicure chair once it was done so he could do my nails. And sat on my left side so I had to twist my body to give him my right hand. I was so uncomfortable. He said it is better for his posture to do nails from the pedicure chair than from the manicure table. Clearly his comfort is a higher priority than mine. Also I was not able to wash my hands after soaking in acetone even after I told him I have a skin condition - my fingers were burning. This is the first negative review I have ever done but I felt it was necessary to share my experience in an effort to spare you the disappointment and waste of money.

Mayerlis Estevez Angie is an amazing nail tech I’ve been coming every month for a refill for 4 months, I’m a hairstylist so I need nails that don’t crack or lift and she gets the job done. And even if I ask her for surprise nails she eats everytime!!!!! Meaning she is amazing at what she does!

Mainette Muniz The only reason I keep returning to this place is because of Olly, the lady who does my nails; she is great! Some other employees are also sweet and efficient. However, they often double-book appointments and try to place the blame on the customer. Then, they pressure you to get pedicures to make time for your nail appointment. They seem to overwork their staff too. Today, both I and another lady had appointments, but Mary, who is the rudest person there or simply uneducated, tried to tell us that we didn’t have appointments when it was their mistake for double-booking. This isnt the first time this has happened to me, and it feels intentional, as if they are trying to push you into getting additional services. I’ve learned my lesson: there are plenty of other places to go!

Stephie I have been coming here for years and it is always a great experience. Today specifically I had a mani and pedi done by Ana who was extremely kind and detailed. I love how my nails turned out. She also introduced me to her daughter Hannah who was also really kind and also works there. You cannot go wrong with either of them. It was a relaxing and calming experience with super cute nails. 10/10 highly recommend.

I had gel all over my fingers and they were SUPER lumpy and when I asked the gentleman to fix them gave me attitude and tried to “file them” still TERRIBLE!!! I hate confrontation. I paid and left. Worst nail service I ever had. Save your money DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!!

Dani Morton I ended up coming to this place on a Saturday and there was no customers there. I work as a nanny so I took one of the girls I work with to get her nails done with me. I’m not from the area so this was our first time going here. We walked in and the owner was sitting in the pedicure chair with no shoes on. He immediately starts on my nails and rushing me to pick a color. He kept telling me the price of my nails over and over again throughout my entire visit even though I said the price is OK. He was super aggressive on my nails and also the child I had with me, he cut our fingers in multiple places with the drill. I then had to sit in the pedicure chair where he had his dirty feet. The quality of our nails are definitely not up to standard. There is only one man working in the salon and it took forever for our nails to get done. Lastly the child I nanny for paid for her nails and the man told her it was 55 but later that day she checked her bank account and was charged $60. I will never return to this place nor should anyone else.

Karinne Stumpf Everything from beginning to end was amazing - great customer service, patience with the client with choosing the nail color/style, and the finishing touch was exactly what I was looking for. I did something simple and requested the nails thin and got the exact color I expressed I was looking for and had the best outcome after not going to the salon for a while. J J Please read the one stars ⭐️s they are very true. Fraudulent…… What a joke. I should have looked at the reviews. My fault. 22$ plus tip 26$ for a terrible manicure, if that’s what you call it. Dirty water and some dirty guy messing my nails up. When done They basically stand over you to make sure there is tip). I asked if they could just help fix my nails. Just clean up and help. I came here because it’s close to my house. I will be talking and reporting fraud to my bank. Then stand by and make you do a tip. The ladies up front who check you in??? What is that. SMH. They are just sitting there oh go sit at this number. No help finding it. I’ve had manyyyyyy manis and this was by far a joke and absolutely the worse experience. I should have said something but they are standing right there when you check out and you’re under duress to pay.

Kim Cummings Ive been coming to Koi for about a year, and the service is usually great. However, today I had the worst French manicure Ive ever had. I asked for baby pink tips, but the stylist, who didn’t speak English, may not have understood. She painted white tips and then rushed to cover them with a strange translucent pink polish, completely missing the sides. The result is sloppy and unpolished—I can’t wait to take it off. Time to find a new salon.

Bridget S. I go to this salon quite a bit and most of the employees are nice and friendly. I think the salon could take a better approach at making customers feel welcome. Otherwise most if not all of the employees know exactly what they’re doing and you will leave satisfied. It’s pricey too but that may just be Florida.

Danielle Bassi I got my acrylic nails put back in for the first time in 16 years! I wanted somewhere close to my home and on my way home from work. I looked up reviews and picked this place. Everyone was super friendly and they work very well together. I requested Taylor after ready the reviews and everyone was right. She did a wonderful job and took her time. I could tell that all of them were good and if she didnt have the time I would go to anyone there. Although I did ask for just regular acyclic when I booked it online and told the girl that gave me the color choices what I wanted she rang me up for gel. I really dont know the difference except it was suppose to be $35 for a full set of regular and $50 for the gel. Im hoping that when I get them filled I can just to the regular fill for $25. My nails are beautiful and she talked me into doing snowflakes on two fingers ( another $7). They are super dainty and added an extra touch for Christmas. They even have a rewards program where you earn points and you get money off after spending so much. It was also very easy to book online. All in all Im very happy with them and the place is great.

Jessica B The staff was friendly enough BUT I asked to cut my nails down and they did not I think that might be why I literally just got home from the nail salon and I now just realized that my pointer finger nail is separated from the tips that they put on. Basically the nail is already lifted see photo. I honestly feel like crying because I don’t have time to go back and get this fixed and it’s - HUGE gap. something is going to get in between the tip and my Nail. I don’t know how to fix it at home either it’s going to get really gross these Nails will definitely have to be taken off within the week This is my first time at the salon I’m very disappointed I definitely won’t be going back Also my thumbs are too completely different nail shapes I asked for almond and these are some type of oblong (I can live with it but still I’m paying to for the service) they’re just not consistent each nail is different it’s not too bad expect the thumbs are horrible. And then on one hand he did the diamonds a lot more neat and on my left hand the glue is all over the place I’m getting stuff stuck to it like a little pieces of lint it’s very messy. I’m going to have to try to figure out how to clean this glue up without taking off the diamonds Also they didn’t cut my cuticles on my hand I don’t understand since when is that not a part of the service I wanted a manicure. I don’t mind paying extra I’m just really confused. I feel like my Nails just look messy now. I’m just really disappointed I really wish that I could’ve had a better nail experience I wouldn’t have even written this review if my nail wasn’t literally lifting that is the part that I think is upsetting me the most I just really wanted to get something done to make myself feel a little bit better and now I’m crying because they are very poor quality.
