Kristine Fitts A friend who lives in Sarasota recommended this salon to me for a much needed pedicure. I did not call ahead, I was a walk-in and had very little wait time. Everyone was very friendly, they had all the colors you could possibly need to choose from as well as a great menu of services. I chose a Deluxe pedi with a paraffin wax treatment. My technician was super sweet and did a great sugar scrub rub down on my achy tennis legs. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. I’m looking forward to returning. I highly recommend this salon!

Lisa Cuthbertson I love Pink Petals. Super professional and staff very friendly. Jenny is amazing and I am always so happy with my nails. I get a dip and gel together. I have been going here for about 8 months now would not go anywhere else. Took me nearly two years to find my go to nail salon and this is it. You will not be disappointed. Jessica DuPont Ailema(Manicure) and Ana(pedicure) were absolutely amazing. This is by far the BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. All the girls were the sweetest and made sure I was well taken care of. I felt like they cared about what I wanted and they listened to me. I will be coming back again.

Ann Labine Lisne did a great job, my coworker referred me to her and I got a new set of gel x aprés. She was very detail oriented and took her time getting my grody hair stylist fingers pretty and cleaned up for the nails. I love how they came out! The salon was very tidy and nice, pleasant music playing. The bathroom was immaculate too lol. I will definitely come back for another set!

Myra Crawford Just got my nails done here. Told them I had to be at wedding. Got the extra service which took long and was very expensive. Had to leave and now my nails are all messed up. Yes, they werent dry but they didnt 3ven offer anything to help. Nice place but watch out for the extra services $120 later and my nails look like crap.

Carey Anne Tom is the best!!! Been seeing him for a while now & he does the best nails. He’s pretty fast but I’m a hair stylist with my hands in water all day & these nails never lift or break. He’s extremely talented & can do whatever you’d like but even better. No one else is allowed to touch my nails!!! ❤️❤️

Gina Mulroy I have been a client of Tom’s for more than 2 years. Moved to Florida 3 years ago, tried a few nail salons and techs before finding Tom at Blossom UTC, and so glad I did! I’ve been getting Nails for 30+ years and honestly can say Tom is the best tech. Nails that last, great artist, knows and understands colors that are complementary and awesome pedicure also!

Not only does she do an amazing job every time, but she’s also incredibly sweet and has such a great personality. Hayley L Went for a pedicure. I had cut my own nails really short but I wanted them square so I asked for dip powder to fix the length and shape. I showed a picture for reference and she asked me what pedicure package I wanted. I called and asked the pricing before they said it would be $50 for the dip and price of package added on. I asked for the spa package with hot stones that was $50. Total was somehow $115 and she completely forgot the hot stones. Without the stones the pedicure should have been $95. Massage was great I asked for French and the paint job was pretty good but when I got home and looked over it the edges had gashes in them and were crooked. She left lots of cuticle and the bottoms of my feet still had calluses. Not to mention when she was done another employee grabbed some of the brushes and tools and went to use them on another client without cleaning them. I used to go all the time but stopped and decided to treat myself again for once. Price didn’t match quality I will not be going back. Wish I could get my money back. Went 4 hours ago, included pictures you can see the calluses and cuticles still there and the nails are either jagged or crooked.

Gianna I go here all the time with my mom, usually it’s okay, Friday it was not. I went in for a dip color change, the tech was rude and I didn’t have a good feeling about the service. The tech proceeded to cut off more than half of my nail length, which is when I got upset. The manager then comes over and tells me to “calm down”, I said I didn’t want the color anymore and to just give me clear polish and I’ll leave. He proceeded to drummel the crap out of my nails, throws my hands back and says “you’re done” to which I responded “you’re right, I’m done”. The pictures below are what my nails looked like when I walked out. NEVER coming back here.

G.M i only came here because my husband bought me an expensive gift certificate and i decided to use my left over certificate today. i walked in told the man i want pedicures. once the lady finished with my pedicures, i came cash out and they charged me for a gel which i never mentioned. it bothers me that i told pedicures 3x and i didnt mention any gel which come to surprise of $50 for pedicure. the man that did my pedicure before this lady (same process) charge me $32 not $50. if the issue was a language barrier, they should of ask the client gel or no gel, the previous pedicure understood that i only want regular pedicure the same answer i also said today. i also noticed cause i came to use their service 4x and when they ask what payment u want to use, everytime i use the certificate, they dont say the total amount they want to look at the certificate how much you got only to get overcharge. i dont know about this place anymore. they ripped my skin few days ago when i did my eyebrow, a man didnt clean my acrylic nails below my nail bed and had to ask a lady to clean it. they basically took my giftcertificate and charge me more for the service. Happy Nails, husband doesnt look too happy when i got home with this skin on my eyebrows. he insist i should write a review that day but i think i had enough today.

Liz Zeitler We had been a year ago and was great. This time Angel was rude and rushed through pedicure. She didnt talk just yanked on my legs or feet when she needed something. Massage was terrible. Was mad because I just wanted a simple pedicure. She put paper towels instead of toe separators so the toes ruined wet nails. Would never go there again 42$ a plain pedicure. $26 for pedicure 10$ for using the Parmesan grater on feet and $5 to take of previous gel polish. They also set a timer to make sure pedicure got done in time. My girlfriend sat next to me and her girl didnt say one word. Never again will we visit. They just want every dime from you.

Jenn Goddard Dont go here!!! $165 garbage pedicure for 2!! We waited 30 minutes. They gave me a broken chair. We paid for the hot stone predicate for 2 people. And an extra $20 for callus removal. We got slightly warn rocks rubbed on as mildly for 5 minutes. Not what was advertized. They didnt care about the experience or making the experience good!!! 3 times I had to ask him to cut down my nails. I have never had to ask anyone ever. When it came For the polish, it was dried out so they used nail polish remover to loosen the bottle. I asked 3 times to switch to a different bottle he said it was fine. He put 4 coats on. I waited under the dryer for 15 minutes. Left with flip flops on. Turned on the cold air in the car for it to continue drying on the way home. 20 minutes later I put shoes that were open toe heals and they smeared all over. $165 dollor mistake Save your money go somewhere else

Leah Gordillo I had a horrible experience here getting gel X nails which are expensive and should last at least 2 weeks, mine lasted a week. When the girl removed my gel nail polish with a buffer she hurt me at least 7 or 8 times and it burned badly. Then she even accused me of making it up! I should have walked out then and there. Then when she wrapped my hands in acetone it was so soaked that the acetone spilled all over the counter and myself. My nails looked like a ducks beak. You can see how awful the application with glue is in the second photo. Stay away!!

Tanya Torres Ari took care of me She is amazing, meticulous, and so so talented. A true nail artist. Had to remove hard gel and wanted longer nails so she explained to me why the gel X would be better..i showed her a.pic of what i wanted( left pic) n it came.out exactly the same. She is amazing! N everyone is so nice at.the salon as well.:)

Aimee Naguibine very clean and cute inside, the girl who did my nails was very sweet and professional. these took about 2 hours and was $90. definitely would come back.

Kylee Raber I am not from the area, so I just picked a salon and any manicurist. I chose the most expensive pedicure because I really wanted a treat. I scheduled an appointment online. When I arrived, the salon was running about 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule, so I waited. I sat in the pedicure chair, which wouldnt move. My feet were so far away from the pedicure bowl I could hardly get them submerged, and I am 58 for reference. My pedicure started, but I was very dissatisfied in the massage. It was basically just rubbing lotion around my legs and feet. The nail polish does not look very professional, and my heels are not what I would call smooth. I was sadly very disappointed with the price and service.

mylena maman I had my nails done at another place and I was unhappy with the results. I showed up to Expo nails embarrassed and upset, wondering if they could help me fix them. I was treated like my opinion did not matter about what I wanted at the previous nail salon. The manager at expo nails put me at ease and helped me in the kindest manner. The quality of their work is unmatched. They really care about their clients experience and they do quality work. Their prices are great too. I refuse to go anywhere else!

Tula Nguyen I’ve been going to Tina for my nails, and she never disappoints! Every time I leave, my nails are beautifully done, and she always takes the time to make sure they’re perfect. Not only is her work amazing, but she also offers a wonderful head massage for stress relief that is incredibly relaxing. I always feel so refreshed after my appointments. If you’re looking for someone who is talented, professional, and truly cares about her clients, I highly recommend Tina!

Hailee Wieberg I had quite a mixed experience today. At first, I was attended to by a woman whose name I didn’t catch, and unfortunately, it was far from pleasant. Not only did she cut me five times while filing my nails, but I also had to ask her multiple times to fix things like the shape and areas that weren’t properly filled. I’m someone who avoids conflict at all costs, so for me to speak up that much really says something about how poorly things were going. Thankfully, Tina stepped in and took over, and my experience improved drastically. Tina was incredibly gentle, listened to all my concerns, and made sure my nails looked perfect by the end. If you go here, I highly recommend asking for Tina right from the start—she’s professional, attentive, and really saved my visit!

Claire Mangano I go to Tina for a builder gel manicure almond shape and she does a perfect job everytime! I get a fill for $48. She is so sweet and offers a relaxing experience. She also gives a fabulous hand/arm massage after.

Carolyn Yoder What an amazing gift Nail lab is to this community! My Mom is spending some time in the hospital and was desperately in need of having her nails cared for. Cynthia responded quickly to my communication and was able to work out a time to visit within a few days. She was wonderful and Mom and was THRILLED! Thank you Cynthia for going above and beyond to provide this kind of service for those who cant come into a salon. You have no idea the blessing this was for not only my Mom but also for us as a family to see experience some joy in a really hard season of time.

Biannca Singleton My trip to Sarasota was made 10 times better after visiting Cynthia at The Nail Lab. I needed a pedicure, and couldn’t find anywhere that could accommodate for a same-day appointment. Cynthia was kind enough to take me, and did a beautiful job on my pedicure. I requested a French tip nail style, and she did an absolutely amazing job. From the precision of her lines, to the great base color match, Cynthia knows what she’s doing. I may have to take another trip to Sarasota, just to make another appointment with her.

Noreen Croxton Cynthia is a life saver. Her professional and warm presence made this experience the highlight of my week. She brought her equipment and skills right to me in the hospital, receiving inpatient treatment for cancer had my previous gel manicure grown out 4+ weeks but she filled in a fresh manicure, saving my nail bed and paying close attention to detail, my nails have never looked so beautiful & classy. She has a huge selection of OPI colors, I chose Pompeii Pink as my shade for October. The discount she gave me was unbeatable as well, thankfully making it affordable to have a luxury service brought to my door. Although I live far away, she has gained another loyal client.

Nancy K Hazel was wonderful... Meticulous and took her time making sure I had the dip manicure I wanted. The salon has HUNDREDS of colors of polish, gel and dips and is neat and clean. Very reasonable price. Will return again next year when on vacation.

Louisa Best experience! Each person was a perfectionist, nothing hurt, my nails turned out amazing, and they did not rush the process at all. They all speak English, use massage chairs for the pedicures, and have interesting things on tv to watch if you want to zone out. Highly recommend.

Katie Holt I moved to Bradenton area back in July 2021 but I work in Sarasota . I had tried a few places but Cindy at Valentine’s nail spa is amazing!! My acrylic nails always look amazing. I do not go anywhere else. I’d rather drive almost an hour to her than try another place. The black and white set in the photos are about to get done for Valentine’s Day so they are about 2-3 weeks old. But I love this design she cam up with. I just Love this place. It’s very clean and organized. Staff is wonderful, and the whole vibe relaxing !! 10/10

Blessed One Its our first time at this wonderful salon Valentines Nails Spa. My husband and I went for a pedicure for my birthday. We had such a great time there. Outstanding customer service! Myloan did my husbands nail and Jenni did mine and they give the best foot massages. These 2 ladies are super women, spectacular, amazing, fun, they made us laugh the entire time, and theyre super passionate at what they do. The environment at Valentines Nails Spa is so relaxing and they have a never ending choice of color. I surely recommend Valentines Nails Spa. It is worth the visit. Ali Kaiser I forgot that today was a holiday and the salon that I would normally go to happened to be closed so I went around finding other nail salons in town. I looked at the opening hours which seemed accurate on google but some places have left their open signs on and didnt put up a piece of paper on the window to notify us that theyre closed which was unprofessional. I was almost about to give up until I found this place that happened to be open on Labor Day which I did feel lucky since I had upcoming plans and with how convenient it was from my house! The one lady who wasnt fluent in english did a great job with my pedicure but I noticed that none of the staff puts tub liners for the pedicures for which I thought was DISGUSTING and UNSANITARY. I also requested for a filling, but I was not too satisfied with the end result. I think it was the owner who did my refill and I showed her the picture of how I wanted my fingernails to be done. I’m not usually very picky about getting manicures but I would say that this was the worst acrylic set I’ve ever gotten and I feel like I should’ve waited til the next day for my usual salon to open since they do a better job there than this place. The picture obviously looks way better than what I got. She did make some effort with the design but I feel like she rushed as she was doing my set. First she did not get rid of the excess coat looking like the nails are about to peel off my cuticles. The white polish part was not fully painted and she didn’t even paint the sides of the nails which makes my nails look so fake and they look like crap. When I first looked at the reviews, I thought and expected to have a good nail salon experience but it was about the opposite of what I hoped and EXPECTED and I should have just left w my pedicure instead of getting acrylic sets here. I first thought about just getting a pedicure since they were short on staff but I now regret that I changed my mind about deciding to get a fill here instead of waiting for tomorrow for my usual place to open up before I have to go to work. This was also my first time coming to this place and now after my unfortunate experience, I will never come back here ever again!!!

Marie Hamm I came here because they were open till 8. Wrong choice. I asked for a pedicure only. They charged me $40 for 20 minutes worth of service. The rinsed my feet filed my nails. Applied sugar scrub to my feet and rinsed off without even rubbing the sugar scrub on. They painted my nails and another came and rubbed my legs with a hot towel. They rubbed lotion on my legs and feet for 2 seconds which smelled awful. Then when I was checking out the lady ran away from the card machine for a phone call. Coming back to cancel my card and run it again. I looked at my bank and i was charged twice. Once for $40 and once for$ 50. I was told I could add a tip to the $50 receipt and I declined. Then she printed another receipt with a signature line on it and set it on the counter. I explained that I was charged twice and she said no only 1 time. Tomorrow other charge will fall off. The service sucked. The price sucked. I should of walked out as soon as I walked in but I figured Id give them a chance. Never again. Not worth the money. Now I have to dispute a charge on my card.

Marla Martinez So disappointed with my set. This was my second time at this salon and both times my sets were subpar. This second go around I was truly upset about. I wanted a deeper French and the tech insisted that it would look bad. Once I left and inspected my nails I noticed how sloppy and uneven they all were. Such a shame because I spent $150 for something I could’ve done better myself. Now I have to go to a different salon to start all over again.

I wanted my natural nails back, and he DELIVERED ♥️ he took the time to add a strengthening dip powder to ensure my nails would last and grown healthy again and did a gorgeous cat eye gel polish. They are so beautiful! Even though I dont live in the area, I will be back just go see him.

Natalie Pickup I had an excellent experience yesterday at Siesta Nails and Spa. I chose the dip, Brazilian style french manicure and the Hot Stone pedicure. The pedicure was by far the best Ive ever had, much because of the foot/leg massage. Both services were done by Kenny. He was attentive, a kind soul who takes pride in his work- a true master of his craft. I knew I was in good hands because of his gentle ways and good communication style. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a fabulous mani/pedi experience.

J C This was my second visit to this nail salon. During the first visit, I had such a great experience. They offered me beverages and the nail technician was so helpful in walking me through my options and pricing. I ended up getting dip for the first time and it turned out absolutely beautiful. However, during my second visit, I had the worst experience. The nail tech continuously was pulling down the skin around my nails with her own nails (never experienced this with any others in my history of getting nails done). I also noticed that they do not use sanitized equipment, which is a bit concerning. However, I would’ve been less alarmed if she hadn’t filed my nails so roughly that the skin around my nails became raw open wounds. I kept pulling away from her when she was filing certain nails that had the cuts due to the filing and she laughed and said ‘oh, sorry’. The overall finished product looks very lumpy and not even. I have little specs of black dust looking dots, as the nail tech had some cotton and other residue on her hands that dropped onto my nail bed, but she just kept painting over them. The overall shape of some of my nails are not even either, where some of them are shorter on one side, so it appears that the nail is at a diagonal angle. It took me over an hour to get to this location, after all the traffic, and I’m incredibly disappointed in the finished product. I’m normally not one to complain, but I went to get my nails done for a special event that I’m attending this weekend. Seeing some of skin around my nails, still red and raw, and the unevenness of the dip, as well as all the tiny little black specs on top, is very disappointing. I’m fairly new to the area and my search for my regular nail salon will continue after this visit.

Rat Attack Siesta Nail... I visit this salon about every month faithfully for the past 5 years and I wont go anywhere else. This salon is made up of fun, friendly professionals who are consistent with every detail of what the customer requests along with their expert opinions. Anyone I refer to this salon always comes back for more beautiful nails. I absolutely highly recommend this salon for all your mani, pedi, and beauty needs.
