Angie C I never leave bad reviews but I had to this one time. Based on the rating, I was excited to get a simple gel manicure. However, the service received was not proof of such a high rating. For one, the manicure was RUSHED and I didn’t understand why. There was absolutely no one in there. I spent a total of 15 mins from start to finish inside the shop. If the technician did not want do this manicure, I don’t know why she did. There were plenty of other ladies that could have done it. The technician would just grab my hand instead of let me know what she needed. I should have just walked out then. The gel was applied sloppy and uneven. My cuticles weren’t pushed down nor did she use cuticles oil…she just had me soak in water and started to snip. There was a part of my cuticle that was left on my hanging on my right ring finger. There was gel under my nail and polish left on the side of my fingers. She didn’t even use a nail clipper to make the nail even/smooth. Never again! Not sure how they received a 4.8 rating but my technician was not evidence of that. I really just wanted to get out of there. Looking forward to getting my nails properly done tomorrow. What was waste of 35 bucks. You go to a nail salon to relax and enjoy getting pampered for a bit. Unfortunately, this nail salon made it seem like it was a sin for wanting that.

Montana Fox These ladies were very nice and did a great job on my first set of gel nails. Me and a friend of mine came in as a walk in and we didnt have to wait at all. They have a wide selection of colors and styles are available. Oh and they did a great job on the hand message part of the manicure!

Kamel NY SAVE YOUR MONEY, DONT GO! I gave this salon so many chances but today was the last one! I went for gel manicure and the person who did, the men, I am so disappointed and I told him and the “owner” And she said ohh they don’t look so bad. I stayed there for 2h and couldn’t stay more so they can fix from beginning, I work also too! I asked them since in the beginning if was hard for them i can choose something else and they say no no we can do it. I told her this is not how they supposed to look what do you mean They don’t look bad?? You own a salon you have to take care of your costumers and tell them sorry at least! In the end I asked how much and she still make me to pay same price not even discount or a “Sorry” About the girl who did my pedicure she did good job. I am not going back to this place again. If you care just about the money and don’t give the service back, you just lost another costumer!!

Lynette Gryniak When I lived in Gulfport I drove here then I moved to Dunedin and I’ll still drive here for a manicure and pedicure. I have such short nails but they always know how to make them look so clean and classy. They pay such attention to detail, very positive and friendly. I always love how my nails come it out everytime.

Natalie Creamer Love this place! The artists are talented and kind. The massage chairs have arm and body squeezers and are super comfy. My finger and toe nails look amazing (despite my wiggling) thanks to Kelvin and Kim. I will be back again and highly recommend! A++++++++

Nicky Stevens Very nice salon and took a ton of time and attention on my French dip. I dont often get nails done because I have a skin issue Im embarrassed about but she didnt bat and eye, just took care of it and made my jenky fingers look so much nicer. Also, My ring fell off the table while I was there and 4 employees all jumped in to help me find it, sweeping the whole place and then emptying all the drawers and boxes until we found it! Appreciate the service and happy attitude to help!

Shantana Mornay-Bennett I’ve been a loyal customer of Nail Zone for over five years, but I will never return after today. Since Nancy is no longer working here, I decided to give someone new a try. Unfortunately, that decision led to a shocking and painful experience. During my pedicure, the technician cut one of my nails in half vertically. To my disbelief, he continued working as if I wouldn’t notice the damage. His lack of acknowledgment or concern stunned me that I had to leave mid-service. This experience has completely shattered my trust in the salon’s quality and professionalism. Nail Zone used to be my go-to place, but after this incident, I can’t recommend it to anyone.

Lynn Margaret This is not my side of town at all - I live at the South end of St. Pete Beach, but Ill go out of my way to see Nancy again! I went in around 6:40, with a vague idea of what I wanted (USA for Olympic spirit!). Also, I was super sweaty after the gym. The women were so helpful and conferred with each other and showed each other some pictures then showed me the picture and it was EXACTLY what I was thinking of and could not explain (again, USA for Olympic spirit)! To take me, all sweaty, less than an hour before they closed and whip out three different colors and do a design? They have won me over. Ive gotten so many compliments on my manicure. Cant wait to head back over to this part of town just to go see Nancy. Thanks, ladies! Ill be back!

The use of liners in the foot tub and sterilized instruments is a great relief for us who have had knee replacements. The salon is exceptionally clean and fresh. Cayla Page I have been going here over 5 years, but I will not be going back. It took 2 hours to do dip manicure, without tips, and they look terrible. My toenails are also not evenly cut. I feel sorry to leave this place behind because Harrison goes above and beyond, but this experience was terrible quality for $120.

Alexandra Neely Such a special hidden gem. I love this nail spot and have been going here consistently for a year or so. All the staff —Dior, Mia, Bea, and Harrison especially— are so friendly and welcoming. I’ve never shown a technician here a single design they couldn’t replicate. They always go above and beyond, even staying late past closing to make sure I’m satisfied with my nails. We come every two weeks for our girls day together and we always leave satisfied with our nails, we even post our two week girls nail nails photos online for everyone to see. They are great with custom designs and if we have an issue right then and there with our nails they correct it. I live all the way in Brooksville and drive down to st. Pete every two weeks just to get my nails done here.

Kari Schneiss Just started going here and love it! I used to do dip but now I do the building gel to help keep my nails healthier per their recommendation and I have not been disappointed. They held up and lasted me 4 weeks. They pay attention to details and ask me if I like the color/shape before proceeding. Highly recommend!

M Pete Ebony is amazing! I just moved from Ohio and was worried I wouldn’t find someone who did builder gel as good as my tech. I am so fortunate to have found Ebony! She not only did the best job on my nails, she is so so kind! Also…this salon is just steps from my house. Thank you Ebony!!

Arixel Garcia I got my nails and toes done here for my birthday and they turned out super cute. It’s been approximately a month since then and as they are growing I realized they weren’t glued properly at the cuticle, as they are all lifted and strands of my hair literally gets stuck inside of the base of them. Not to mention, my index acrylic in particular seems to have been glued to my actual skin. It has caused immense pain without me even hitting it on anything. It started lifting more than the others and I cannot remove this acrylic without ripping off my actual skin. You can see where my skin is ripping and where my actual nail is on the acrylic. In conclusion, yes they looked great but the application was terrible and my tech clearly didn’t know what she was doing because I’ve never experienced this with acrylics. I won’t be returning here.

M Scheid I had an amazing experience at Mibella. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a clean and beautifully decorated space that instantly made me feel relaxed. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional—always making sure I was comfortable and happy with every step of the process. My nail technician was fantastic, taking the time to listen to what I wanted and offering helpful suggestions. The attention to detail was impressive, and the end result exceeded my expectations—my nails have never looked better! They also use high-quality products, and I noticed that my manicure lasted much longer than usual. What really stood out to me was how clean and hygienic everything was, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a top-notch nail salon that truly cares about their clients, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Truong T I got a pedicure from the older man and he was not thorough and basically rubbed my feet for a few minutes for $35. I asked him to cut my cuticles and he proceeded to pretend to ‘cut’ my cuticles. I asked him to take the pointy tool to get the dead skin from underneath the toenails and he said I didn’t need it. I insisted on it as dead skin collects from the corner crevices. He reluctantly did it but with low level of effort. Sadly, I shall go home and cut my own cuticles that were missed and clean underneath my toenails myself. To the shop owner, please do recognize that people work hard to earn their income to be able to afford such amenities like a manicure or pedicure. If you’re going to employ anyone at your establishment, please teach them the right way to take care of their customers so they can be recurring income for you. For me to have to go home and cut my own cuticles and clean up my own toenails, that’s why I paid for the service and no tip. With the surrounding competition, please do better. To prove I’m not being dramatic, I’ve uploaded some photos I took of my nails right after leaving the shop. Now, as you can see there’s a lot for me to fix here.

Kendall Thomas Wonderful experience! Theresa had me try a new hybrid gel base coat as a more natural alternative to dip and I am obsessed with it! I think this is the best my nails have ever looked. Theresa was also so kind and genuine and it was just a great experience overall! Can’t wait to come back! Update: went back for valentines hearts and I’m OBSESSED!

I asked for regular manicure and gel polish nail, just wanted something classic and professional. I was sent to the station 17 with a nice and sweet lady. Sadly, the result wasn’t the best for 40$ , and not sure if I will go back.

Kelley McCabe Each time I go, they do an incredible job! They are very attentive even when busy (worth the wait) and have great attention to detail. They’re friendly always remembering my name and I enjoy talking to the other regulars because it’s a great atmosphere. Sophie hand paints so well, as a painter I love watching her do this with such ease. Don’t let this small plaza fool you, very high quality!

Nicole Rizzo Update: after moving further away, i tried 4 different nail salons between Palmetto and downtown St Pete-none compare. New owner Tracy does phenomenal work, as does Sally and Ocean (great pedicure- but he only works Saturdays). Clean, great color selections and pedicure options. Will gladly make the 40 minute drive. Always consistent, quality work. Great team members, excellent selection of colors and sips. Super clean. Quiet- which is perfect for those of us who want to truly relax. 4 year customer, and still drive half an hour to come back.

Bellas Angel Disappointed with My Nail Service – Won’t Be Returning This was my first and last time coming to this salon for nails. I had Sophie do my nails, and after reading the reviews, I felt confident in my choice—unfortunately, I was wrong. I showed Sophie a picture of what I wanted, and she assured me she could do it. When she applied the nail tips, I immediately noticed the shape was off and mentioned it. She told me she would fix it when filing, so I trusted the process. As she continued, I wasn’t thrilled with the pink color, but since I agreed to it, that was on me. However, as the acrylic was applied, I kept looking at the shape, and despite my concerns, she kept insisting she would fix it. Once the nails were filed and painted, she asked if I liked them. I responded that they were “okay” because, at that point, nothing could be done. When I brought up the shape again, she finally admitted that they only have curved nail tips, so she couldn’t change it—something she never mentioned before. I wish I had known this from the start because I wouldn’t have gone through with the service. I then got a pedicure, and when the nail tech asked about my nails, I told her I wasn’t excited about them they were okay. I had originally planned to match my toes to my nails, but after not liking the color, I just opted for a simple white. Luckily, the pedicure was done well, and I had no complaints about that. Overall, I won’t be returning for nails, knowing they only offer curved tips and didn’t disclose that upfront. However, I may return for a pedicure in the future. (The first photo shows what I wanted, while the last ones show what I actually got.)

Just Vicky Thingz Nail lounge is great! I’ve been coming here for over 9 months & they always do a great job. The staff is super friendly & they really take their time to do a good job. Would definitely recommend!

AnneMarie Russell My new favorite nail salon! I came for the reviews and stayed for the stellar service. This location offers vegan hybrid gel and it’s my latest obsession! The vegan gel is SO much lighter and doesn’t strip your nails like regular acrylics, it also lasts significantly longer too. I love how sweet everyone is and they are always looking to accommodate your needs. Upon walking through the door they always offer water, sparkling water, and even a glass of wine if you wish! I couldn’t recommend this place enough—you definitely have to give them a try and see for yourself.

Alycia Torres Blush nails is amazing! Everyone is always friendly and the salon is always clean. Walk ins are always welcome but I suggest calling ahead. Hannah is the absolute best! Mels Elle Blush Nails on 4th Street N is the best nail salon. They are so accommodating and take walk-ins. The service deserves more than 5 stars because the staff is so nice . You don’t feel rushed. They take their time and provide the best care for your nails. I just tried the vegan gel and it is lite weight on the nail. I absolutely love it. I love coming here. It is truly a calming and relaxing environment. If you’re looking to get your nails done come here. Hannah, Bebe, Victoria and Ms Lisa are amazing. Truly everyone is amazing here.

Sarah Nicole I love this nail salon! I have come here for a very long time and they always do amazing work. The customer service is 10/10. The salon is so relaxing and clean. I get the hybrid gel manicures and my nails have grown to be so strong. This photo is of my natural nails, French tip with chrome on top.

E. Flow The atmosphere is very nice as is the staff. My only issue is this is the second time I went for acrylic nails refilled and the shape is terrible even after I requested it be corrected which is fine if a fill cost $25 but spending $50 when the quality is not up to par is very disappointing won’t be coming back unfortunately. Just wish they were a little better at shaping nails everything else is nice. I can’t speak to their other services but if you are getting acrylic fill I’d say look else where not worth the price.

Lisa G Ive been going to this salon for years. They just keep getting better and better. They recently had new massage chairs put in, although their older chairs were equally as relaxing. They have alot of space and staff but always have a steady flow of costumers throughout the week. I have never had an issue walking in to get my nails done, they always have someone ready to go. Staff is knowledgeable about nail polish they have some good nail artists if your looking for something more fancy. I used to get dip ombre nails. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend getting a deluxe pedicure.

Alex Jackson I’ve been coming to Garden Bay nails for many years now and I have yet to be disappointed. I’m not one to come and request one person, and with doing this I’ve had different nail techs do amazing work on my nails and toes. The owner will greet you with the biggest smile as soon as you walk inside like you’re family and she circulates around the salon to make sure you’re doing well. Each nail tech pays attention to detail and produces amazing work. Come to Garden Bay Nails and Spa if you want a great ambiance, clean environment, comfy chairs, wine or water, amazing music, and nail techs who will do great work.

Adrienne Dunbar Meraki Nail Lounge - This nail salon is a must try especially if you have little children who love getting their nails done too because Meraki Nail Lounge have a little kids area with pedicure chair that allows your kids to sit comfortably while getting their services done and have adult chairs so you can be in the same room as your kids. I have been looking for a nail salon with nail tech that would be soft & dedicate with my granddaughters hands & feet & not cut up their cuticles & skin under the nails & I find it here at Meraki Nail Lounge. I was going regularly for pedicure and I had to sit in the kids area cuz they was busy & booked up - i was a walk in and I was put in the kids area once i saw their setup for kids I know I had to bring my granddaughters; but even though I was placed in the kids area I still received good service First time I brought my granddaughters with me as soon as we walked in they immediately feel in love with warm & welcoming environment. The nail tech took their time & making sure my granddaughters were ok especially with the water temperature; & I was very happy nail tech did not cut up my granddaughters cuticles & skin under the nails. I am making this review after our third time at Meraki Nail Lounge on 4990 Park Street North; St. Petersburg Florida 33709 Phone number (727)914-0100 and we are still receiving best nail service. Rachel Robertson This was my first visit to Meraki and I booked with Mimi solely off the google reviews and pictures I saw of her work. She went above and beyond what I asked for! She was friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Everything was very clean and organized. I even got to enjoy a complimentary green tea. I will definitely be back!! Book with Mimi, you won’t be disappointed!!

Roxanne Mizener I wasn’t too satisfied on my first visit here, but I decided to give him a second chance because they reached out to me to fix my nails because they knew of my disappointment . This time they had Emma do my nails and she did a great job fixing my nails. They look 100% better. Emma also did my pedicure which was great.. Hemma Papp Edit! Mimi has done it again. I cant leave more reviews, but every month she makes my nails even better! Ill just keeping dropping works of art here. She is so sweet and you will not regret getting your nails done by Mimi! Mimi is my best ever tech and consistently leaves me smiling how great my nails came out every month. They usually last me between 3 and 4 weeks at least. Her nails are smooth and well shaped and her nail art is on point! They come out exactly like the inspiration pictures I bring her or better! I wish I had pics of some of my other favorites, but suffice to say they were awesome and for once I found a tech that never leaves me feeling like Ive wasted my money. Nails are a huge splurge for me and Mimi makes it worth it every time. Book with her. You wont regret it! Thank you Mimi for your sweet personality and expert level nails!

Caroline Barnett I have been coming to New Image for YEARS and they always provide excellent service and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Even when I left to go to college I found that I preferred to wait until I came home again just because I loved going here so much. Today I had a beautiful new set of nails (blue & white) done by Haylie (nails) and Lynn (design) and I am obsessed!! Previously, another example of how good these women are includes another beautiful set of nails (navy celestial) done by Malinda.

Katelyn Whitmore Paid $165 (with 20% tip) yesterday for dip nail “extensions” and gel pedicure. Unfortunately, my nails were significantly shorter leaving than they were when I arrived and my gel pedicure is coming off after wearing sneakers to the store nearly 24 hours later. Will not be returning. For that price, quality wasn’t there. The techs were amazing, this is definitely a fault of ownership overpricing standard quality products/supplies. I also saw an elderly man nearly fall on the floor because the pedicure chairs don’t have proper steps to get up and down, they’re off to the side and not ergonomically correct. It’s not about the money, it’s all about the quality you get for your money. I just didn’t feel right leaving here and when I called to clarify, the guy at the desk was incredibly rude and basically said “that’s just how we do it”. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after sitting on it I hope there’s action taken to improve their process for future clients.

Elizabeth Andrews New Image is the best salon in town for multiple reasons, the three most important to me being (1) they run like a Swiss clock—my appointment always starts at exactly the time I’ve scheduled it, (2) they’re very clean, and (3) they do high quality work with a keen eye for detail, especially Linda! I have very sensitive cuticle areas and am generally freaked out by the cuticle cleaning and trimming process, but I can relax with Linda because she’s not only meticulous, she is super gentle too. I’ve never once been unhappy with the final product, and though hate to admit it, I’m very picky. :) Overall, I highly recommend New Image Nail Spa if you’re a perfectionist and like to keep to a tight schedule.

Ann S. Primavera What a wonderful salon! Very clean, bright and nice. Jenny was a pro at the gel-hybrid manicure, her attention to detail was top notch and I left with exactly what I wanted. Everyone was welcoming and friendly! I’ve definitely found my new favorite salon!
