Evy E The WORST PLACE TO COME TO!!! From the edges the nail polish and they have no care in COVID REGULATION!!!! They have no sense of what nails are about and design !!! Horrible place I drove an hour away because of a person telling me about this place being good and I am horrified of the experience they have no fear of protection or disinfecting anything I had to get up and just pray that I didn’t catch anything from this place!!! Terrible place and experience!!! They are lucky I have to put a star to post my review but they don’t deserve even that!!!!!

Lashawn Williams The polish and nails looks like I did them. All older people . Polish wearing off , chipping off, the side of the nail not polished. The nail are crooked..they have dens in the nails. And they take too long to do your nails. I went in at 11:50 a.m. for a fill in and pedicure, I left at 2:30 p.m

Chi Davis Went in early when place opened few workers already in pedi chairs shoes on lounging in chairs I asked for service received bring to chair bassin filled with water an began pedicure was not what I expected kept forgetting spray her tools b4 use I desperately looked for another shop in area all shops wasnt opened yet then noticed so many files an double dipping of wax sticks RUN away

Baynham Windy (Sister Windy) Ive been going there for 5 years I have repeatedly got disrespected so I havent been back there in like a year and a half but I finally went back because I started my podcast and I needed a quick fix on my nails it was the worst experience I ever had going there. I got a new Sues chair shes one of the best technicians there. She stopped her process of doing my nails because of her appointment came late so she made me get out of her chair and set me down to another technician that his hands was all shaky. Its Friday that Miss Sue asked another woman to do my nails but she refused to do them because when I came in I asked specifically for MSU I miss you agreed to take me so she took it personal and got offended even though they were speaking in Japanese I know what day was talking about. It made me feel very uncomfortable now Miss Sue has me getting rejected by one technician then the other technician is talking major crime while hes doing my nails and hes doing a terrible job. The job was so terrible on my nails I was getting upset he told me not to get upset because he was doing me a favor thats when I snapped in the nail shop.I told him no one is doing me a favor when Im paying my money to get things done put on tell me that youre doing me a favor when Im paying you. If you didnt want to do my nails thats all you had to do was say so I could have went to another nail shop. The feeling that atmosphere and there was ridiculous after he finished my nails I could not let them finish drying they looked horrible. I told the man in charge the one that takes the money and grease the people when you come in I showed them the process of my nails he immediately took the nail polish off my nails and told the technician to come look at my hands he took a picture before he took the polish off and told him it was horrible he redid my nails. He put gel polish on my nails as a peace offering but he left nail polish all around my fingernails and my hands it was just a horrible experience and then he still had a nerve to ask for the tip. After I got all the fingernail polish from around my fingers and my hands I was ready for my show. But I told them I would never come back there again and I will never go back again

Gio Mor Although there was a nice tech that did my eyebrows and a sweetheart that did my pedicure, my nail tech was rude tugging at my fingers in frustration. She made me feel as if she didnt want to help me. I walked in at 6 pm they close at 7:30pm. Everything was done right before 8pm but not my wrong doing but rather the lack of talent in using dip, to filing correctly and clearing the dust from my fingers with a brush that stained my nails. The attention to detail was non existent. The nail art I requested to be removed because it was extremely childlike experience level. I paid in full $90 for something worth maybe $60 plus I gave fair tips of $35/ total of 25% even though their work was poor. I left crying in frustration because no one there cared about making me happy as a first time customer. No one offered to make it right. That has a lot to say about their way of doing business. I will not be returning but Im sure they could care less.

Meimya Meimya Today was my first time at this salon. My nails and toes were done by MAKI. She did such beautiful amazing work on my hands and feet. I would definitely recommend this salon for all your beauty needs. Go check out my girl MAKI she will get you looking and feeling good. I can’t forget about the owner she was so kind upon my arrival and throughout my service she made sure I was comfortable and for the wine drinkers, they will hook you up. Thank you ladies!!!

Skylar Tonova Nailed It is by far one of the best salons around! Quinn and Lily are such wonderful people and make a point to know their customers. Every time someone walks in, they greet them by name. They’re so kind, thorough and eager to make sure their people are happy. My appointments are always filled with laughter and smiles!!

Sara Brindle Absolutely amazing as always! I love coming here there is always top tier service and the final product of anything I’ve ever wanted to get or anything I’ve ever seen here is just stunning. They all go above and beyond to make sure your comfortable and happy. Update: okay so I got my nails done here again and Ive always struggled with keeping acrylic nails on when I get them done anywhere else. I work a lot with my hands and tend to be really rough on my nails and they normally break pretty quickly so I stopped getting them done until I found this place. I can not express how amazing they are all of their work is beautiful and I can’t say enough how wonderful the service is here and the nails ARE THE STURDIEST NAILS IVE EVER HAD!!!!! I’ve gotten my nails done here for while now and never have I ever had a nail break. I was in a really bad car accident a few weeks ago with one of my friends and when I was in the ambulance on the way to the hospital I noticed that none of my nails even lifted the slightest bit and I had them on for another week or two after as well without any of them breaking. Definitely would recommend this place I’ve never seen a better nail salon than this one!!!!!

Lydia Massias The shop is very clean and modern looking. The staff were all friendly and personable. I wanted a very natural look for my nails and while my picture not might do them justice, my nails turned out great. I did a dip polish with gel top coat and a basic pedicure with gel polish removal. The price range I chose was with tip. Pricing is reasonable and competitive. I’d go back again.

Tara Floyd I found this location from the reviews and Nailed It, did not disappoint!! This is my 2nd visit here. The first time I went after work no appointment, I was not in a rush, and they still took me! I was so grateful as I was getting married the next day! Amazing job on my hands and feet. Today I went no appointment and was seen right away, I love my nails cute and quaint just like I like them! I think I’ve found my new nail place.

Avery Callaway Diamond Nails was such a nice environment with really friendly staff. Even though it felt like I was the only one in the room speaking English, I loved the service performed. The prices were a little higher than what I expected, but my nails looked 10x better after the cleanup & shaping, and that was BEFORE the gel polish. I felt very comfortable in the salon and appreciated by staff as a customer. So happy to have found my go-to nail salon in Tampa!!! Edited: after having one of the most disappointing nail experiences ever, I will not be returning to diamond & nails spa.

Asanka Godfrey I received a beautiful, natural manicure from Yani today. I did builder gel with a light color and chrome. Yani was meticulous, detailed, and took really good care of my nails so that I could enjoy my journey back to natural nails. Love this place, all the ladies are wonderful. The cuticle work is top notch. I’ve received a few great poly gel manicures from Neisy as well. Can’t go wrong with this salon. Feels like home!

Dariana Tirado Absolutely love this place, I’ve been coming here for over two years now And have never been disappointed. I have NEVER once had a nail break and have always been able to retain them for 3-4 weeks. Neisy kills my nails, she is always able to replicate every picture I bring to her, she is a true artist! There’s always a warm atmosphere coming into the spa, all the girls are super inviting and do everything they can to accommodate you. This is my favorite place and I will always keep coming back.

Danielle Salgado Been here a few times and it was decent. Its cheaper and closer than my usual spot. Today was terrible! I am going to have to go home and paint over this or pay to have someone else fix it. I tried speaking to the manager and he YELLED at me! Due to an extreme language barrier, I ended up with the wrong nail shape and colors that I am not happy with at all. The nail tech was using hand gestures to communicate and ask me questions. Limited English does not usually bother me at all. This was beyond the point of being able to communicate functionally. There were no words spoken, the entire time..zero! By the time she understood that I was saying I was unhappy (the color was completely different than the provided sample), she had painted all my toes with gel. She finally asked the manager to help her understand what I was telling her. Then, he yelled at me for not telling her sooner! It was bad enough that they had an assistant do my manicure on a stool wedged between pedicure chairs (couldve done better myself), but the service was really unprofessional today. I am very upset that I paid for this.

Ruby Martinez This is my fourth time visiting AG nail spa and each time has been a great experience! The staff is so welcoming and accommodating and all the technicians are so talented. I’ve been satisfied with my service every time & the environment is very clean very fresh very modern, they have a gorgeous color selection to choose from and tons of pedicure chairs. My service today with Kelvin was 10/10, He delivered exactly what I wanted & even better - my nails look Perfect!

I get a medium length coffin acrylic with gel polish, and she is one of the ONLY people who has a perfect shape, design, and out come every single time. She is so talented, patient, kind! The spa is clean, beautiful, and all new! All of the staff is so friendly! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Hamilton Sherry (Sherbear) Beautiful salon and very nice staff!! Didn’t have to wait and the younger girl did an awesome job!! Actually listened to what I wanted and added a bit of crome which I had never heard of before.. It added an amazing shine…. Love love and worth every penny!!!

Royea Daniels My first time visiting this salon, very quiet and tastefully decorated. My Nail tech, Kayla, was sweet but not skilled in Dip Nails. She applied too much product and failed to smooth the lumps out. The Gel topcoat helped to some but for $60 including tip, smooth, no lump nails should be a given. Hopefully a conversation on the next visit will ensure a better experience.

V LB I throughly enjoy having my nails and feet done at Modern nails. My favorite Nail tech is Ms. Kim, OMG she’s Phenomenal. Her Pedicure skills are quite an EXPERIENCE!!! I leave her chair feeling Elevated and completely Relaxed. I live quite a distance from their location, but it’s worth the trip. The Staff are kind and very attentive. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Jackie H I’ve been to a few nail salons since moving to Florida and usually stay loyal… However, I was finding that my nails were cracking and lifting and breaking more often so I looked at nail salons near me and noticed that this salon had excellent Google reviews. They also had an Instagram page and I saw all the beautiful nails that they were creating, I looked them up online and first off I have to say I love that I was able to book my appointment online and I have to call I noticed you can pick a time and you can pick a specific nail tech if that’s what you like and then right after I got a confirmation via text about my appointment. I walked in and was greeted very energetically. It was a nice serene, very clean environment and they sanitize their equipment which I have to say I haven’t seen a lot lately but most of all I had the owner Mia do my nails and she did the most amazing job I have ever had done on my nails! I’ve always envisioned what I wanted, but it never came to fruition until today! I had a whole new set put on and Mia was kind enough to give me ideas on what I could do with my nails and I let her vision run and I’m so glad I did because they are so beautiful!!!! Highly highly recommend… Nothing was rushed, and the environment of everybody else getting their nails done was in good vibes!

Kendra Fuentes Veronika has been doing my nails for about a year and a half now and she’s been amazing every time. Once you start getting Russian manicures you’ll never go back to regular ones! All the techs here do such great work and they have snacks and play movies while doing your nails, making it a great experience overall!

Jessica Lukas I’ve been seeing Veronika for about 5 months. I had previously done acrylic nails at another salon and was never fully happy with the outcome and my natural nails being damaged. A friend told me told me about the benefits of a Russian manicure and I saw Veronikas work on Instagram. I had questions before the initial visit and she was very quick to respond. I will never go anywhere else! The salon is beautiful, cozy, and clean. They provide thoughtful amenities like snacks, drinks, play movies, and even cute socks after your pedicure. She always does a meticulous job on my nails, she is very detailed and I always leave there so happy with the result. She is great at any type of design you can come up with. Several times I have shown her inspiration photos I’ve what I am wanting and I’m always amazed they turn out so beautiful!! I’ve never received so many compliments on my nails. The best part is they last 4+ weeks, which is longer than any other manicure I have had in the past. She is not only very friendly and sweet, but a true artist and you can tell she is very passionate about her work. My nails have never felt so nice, natural, and healthy! All of the other techs do beautiful work also. I highly recommend!!

Alex Hubler I absolutely love this place. Veronika is such a sweetheart and you will leave feeling more confident every time. I go to her about once a month for my nails and have been for about a year now. I can’t go any place else. My nails have never been stronger, longer, or healthier. I get so many compliments and although it is more expensive than most places, you get what you pay for. My nails have never looked better and they actually last so I only need them done once a month which works best with my schedule. You will not be disappointed!

Valerie Manning Veronika has been doing my nails for almost a year now and I love each manicure more than the last. The nail studio is very clean and quiet. She is very detail oriented and takes a lot of care in her work. Best nail studio I have found! My nails are healthy and strong and last 4 weeks with no breaking or chips!

Ella Cv I asked for the first picture and I got THIS horror instead! I never ever write reviews but Im so disappointed that it hasnt even been 30 mins since I got them done and I had to post this.This is my first time ever getting acrylic nails, but Im positive they shouldnt look this awful! Didnt have enough time left to say anything to the owner because I had to leave. Since I didnt know what the procedure was, I was just waiting for her to fix the shape and all but it never happened. Up close, you can see what a horrible clumped finish it has. Got a gel pedicure done which was equally bad and felt super rushed. Chose this salon as it was the closest salon to where I was staying. Was extremely excited about getting them done and going back home, but this is such a disappointing ending to what shouldve been a memorable vacation. Had to give them one star because I cant do a negative 1000 stars!!! I paid $63 for this absolute garbage of an experience. Not worth it even if it was free!

YayIts K It was right my job came here for a gel manicure & I had a great experience! The owner was super nice! & so was the staff members! Also it’s affordable all I generally do is just shortened gel manicure & I paid $20! Like usually I’ll pay $35-40 compared to my regular spot. Which have the same exact colors brand & variety! If I save extra $15-20 why not!!! It was a week now since I’ve gotten them!

Shannon Latrise My 3rd day moving to Tampa got a full set here(pic with the 3D flower nail). I love their work and cleanliness of the shop. I usually do a pink/white set or Ombre because its a classic/classy look for me, but wanted to do something a little different. The shop starts busy(which means theyre good). Why 4 stars instead of 5? Every tech seems to be sloooooooow. I think because everyone seems to be a perfectionist (which Im not mad about). I spent over 4 hours for a pedi and a balance(which I had to reschedule my other plans). Stop, theyre really great and give you what youre asking for, but just plan to spend some time....

Katherine Tejeda I’ve been coming to Yen for years now, she’s a perfectionist at her job. The salon is always friendly and their customer service is top notch. If I’m not happy with something they always fix it if I let them know I don’t like it while they’re doing my nails or even after they finish doing my nails. They’ve even fixed a couple nails for me for free when I’ve been in between manicures.

Mika Stefos I am very sad to write this review as I really thought i had found my place. I went to have a routine gel mani/ pedi. My technician completed work. Two days later, I called bc the top layer of color had come off first coat.. strange. I came in to fix it.. she was less than thrilled to address. She removed the two failing nails and the dremeled the top layer of ALL nails.. weird. Repainted and walked away without a goodbye. One hour later, the entire nails were pealing. See photos.. I was very unpleased as I was traveling out of town. I went back to salon to address manager, requesting now a refund for the hand manicure. He refused. This is now with the credit card.

Kendy Martinez Went here because a friend said AJ’s Nails was good. Had an appointment scheduled with whoever was available. Show up to my appointment 15 minutes early and I’m told to “Go Away” because everyone is gone. I don’t think I would be going back, hopefully not everyone has the same experience.

Danielle Rodriguez Nice experience at AJs. Vicki the nail tech worked on me. She did exactly like I wanted on my nails and feet. Full transparency with pricing. She was sweet and very attentive. I was a walk-in no appointment and she attended me right away. However it was 9:30am and only a few customers already there. Would come back again.

Nakita Straw They do look down racially on some Black people, and then have the nerve to change up there language and be talking bad about you in your face to another tech in there language, you can tell by the facial expression while doing your nails, especially AJ.. I went there for 1 toenail repair on just 1 foot and A j gon make the nail really skinny which did not match how my big toe which was done wide was.. and just gonna leave and have someone else to polish it, and tell me I owe.

Ali Blu I have been getting my nails done for over 20yrs and even though Ive had other nail salons do not so good work I would say this is one of the worst. I sat down and initially thought that I should go to my regular place but with me moving and my normal place being over 45min away I decided to try and find a salon near me. I took the leap was driving by and said to myself that I would stop. At first when he furnished taking my polish off there was still polish there but I know that usually what they cant get off with the remover that the portable file ( the thing that looks like a drill) will get it off. He started to put the acrylic on over the polish he didnt remove. And Im not talking about the polish residue im talking about actual polish.... after putting the acrylic on he used the portable drill in the nails but never smoothed the nil down. I didnt say anything because I just thought that by the time getting my feet done it should be dry. As I am sitting in the chair getting my feet done im look at my nails and it looks like little bubbles and streaks in the paint. So I told the guy that they look messy and first thing he said was I must have touched something Now I am never gonna say that I have never accidentally touched something while my nails where still drying buy Ive always owned up if I did. I told the guy that I never touched anything and that he did smooth the nail. He also used a clear coat that was very clumpy. I told he that and he repainted my nail and it came out the same way. When I asked for the manager just to show the work this guy was giving customers he said no manager was there.

Angela D On October 4th, 2023.. I came to Tampa on vacation with a couple friends, we decided we wanted to get our nails done together before our event we were going to the next day. We tried to find a place that was close to our hotel since we had to Uber there. I picked Aj’s nail spa because it was close and had better reviews than the other 2 in the area. The service I got at this salon was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I understand that usually you should make an appointment, but I did call ahead and ask if they had time for 3 walk ins and they said yes. Also online it says they close at 7:30pm.. but they told me they close at 5:30pm, so we had to rush to get over there. Once we got there, we got seen pretty quickly.. I had to wait a little bit, no big deal. Then one lady started working on my nails and I told her what I wanted. Short coffin style black acrylics with some rhinestones and a moon on the ring finger. So she started working on my nails and put the tips on and the black acrylic powder.. then sends me over to get my feet done and she starts working on someone else. The lady who was working on my feet didn’t even bother asking what kind of pedicure I wanted and just did a basic pedicure rushing through it the entire time. After she finished my feet, the same lady started to finish my nails and I had to explain what I wanted again.. she was really rushing through it, just as the first lady did too, leaving glue stuck under my nails and powder all over my hands.. they looked so messy.. usually at some point they ask you to wash your hands.. they did not do that at all. When the second lady was finishing my nails, the rhinestones were crooked and she couldn’t even paint a crescent moon so she just ended up using a moon shaped gem. And there was little bubbles in the polish as well. After she was done she put oil on my hands and my hands felt so gross covered in oil and powder and I had to wash my hands before I left. I didn’t say anything at the salon because we didn’t have time to get them redone and I figured no one will be looking that closely at them anyway since we were going to a goth music festival, so it would be dark in there anyway… but I still have to look at them! Thankfully I will never have to go back to this salon again since I live in another state. I think my friends had a slightly better experience than I did… but I was really upset after we left and I still left a tip and paid $100 for nails I was not happy with. Next time I will make sure I get my nails done BEFORE I go on vacation. I just took these photos, even though I got my nails done a couple weeks ago.. you can still see how crooked the stones are…

Fantom M It was my first time getting my nails done at this place, and I’m really happy with the result! Yes, its not cheap, but its definitely worth it. I loved that my nail technician simply asked me to trust her, and she did an amazing job. The only small issue was that I was charged an extra five dollars for the shape, even though it wasn’t mentioned anywhere that I’d have to pay beyond the base price. But that didn’t upset me; I think it was worth it.

Moka Frappe Kimmy absolutely slayed my nails! Ive been coming here for awhile now and everyone does an amazing job so you cant go wrong with anyone! I came in here last min unknowingly before they closed, which I feel horrible about, but Kimmy assured me it was okay and provided outstanding service and also happened to give me a beautiful/fresh gel x set. Do yourself a favor and get your nails done at Capucci! ❤️

Nona I came in for the first time ever 2 days ago for a GelX full set. Everyone I spoke to was very kind. However during my service, I noticed the adhesive was applied very thick and unevenly which made my overall nail very thick. I expressed that I did not like it. The woman doing my nails kept saying she would fix it at the end but she carried on with painting and curing my nails anyway. She insisted it was the coats of paint making it thick but it wasn’t. I kept telling her for 30 minutes that it wasn’t the paint that bothered me, but the actual application of the gel x nails. However, she was continuing all the steps to finish the nails without going back to fix the nail application. Finally I told her to take them all off and I left. Now I was not going to write a review for this. I am writing review based on the pain I am still enduring 2 days later. During the nail preparation, she did not use any proper methods for removing my cuticles. She used several drill bits to dig into the skin around my nails. These drill bits were not sanitized in any way that I could tell. Even after pulling my hand away in pain and seeing visible cuts, she just pressed them with her bare hands, no cleaning of the wounds, and just kept going until all 10 of my fingers were cut, bleeding and sore. She kept applying acetone into the cuts and I was very much in pain and still am 2 days later. Pics attached are of my cuticles 2 days post service and with my own polish applied layer at home. I will say they offered to fix it and have someone else do it and they did apologize. However after 2 hours wasted there and the amount of pain I was in, I could not justify going through another nail service immediately after. The salon itself was very cute and very busy. You could tell they had many happy customers. I just wish it had worked for me.

Angelina H. First red flag, notice how the establishment refuses to respond to or acknowledge any negative reviews! I drove over 30 minutes to come here because of all the excellent reviews. Seems with my luck I didn’t get the best nail tech, I didn’t care for the gentleman that did my nails. A bit sloppy, left polish under my fingertips, couple small red marks along my cuticles but no running blood, I asked a couple questions and got no response. Asked for the express pedicure and pretty sure I was charged for the next higher priced one but who knows because the receipts aren’t itemized. Won’t be back.

Martina Ibrahim Came in for an appointment with jenny and showed her a picture i found online and she did absolutely amazing. she was so kind and sweet and made me feel very comfortable. and my nails turned out great i absolutely love them. the pricing was also great, definitely worth the price.

Francoise DeRose This place is amazing! I was on break doing my 30 minute walk and decided to pop in on a Friday afternoon. It literally took 15 minutes to do my color change on my toes! I got white, she didn’t have polish all over my skin, gave me suggestions, so I told her I will be back. The receptionist was also polite and kind. Classy nails isn’t over priced like the other salons❤️ 10/10 recommend. I love my toes

Alyssa Robertson Honestly one of the best experiences i’ve had getting a pedicure and nails done in Tampa. My pedicure was not rushed and everything was done to perfection. As for my nails, I had an amazing tech. She took my inspiration picture and brought it to life!! They look amazing. I will be a returning customer!

Michelle Was given princess treatment! Fill was done by Vicki & I love the color and the expert precision of her attention to detail. I got the Milk & Honey pedicure, and yes, it’s as good as it’s sounds! Andy has strong yet gentle hands & gave the most relaxing massage. And my feet are baby soft! Holly was delightful, hospitable, & attentive.

Misserielle Loved my experience here! I couldn’t have found a better place to come to while I visited from out of town. I’m literally so sad I don’t live here because if I did this would be my new regular spot! The ladies were so attentive and had such amazing energy and service. I’ll for sure make it a priority to come back! My nails are probably the cutest they’ve ever been thanks to Vicky! They look even better than the picture I showed!
