He will be cutting my hair until one of us dies. This place is great , Pharo is a character, him and his business help to make fort lauderdale interesting . Can’t recommend highly enough.

Todd Campbell Freddy is absolutely amazing! It is very rare to find such an educated professional in the small Salon that has worked in Miami Beach on some of the top Stars. He is very humble and does not let people know that he has been flown on a private jet for hairstylist work on special wealthy clientele. Hes well recognized for his first class work. From waxing to color to just an old fashioned haircut he is the best. Try Freddy you wont be disappointed I guarantee it!

Shannon Taylor What an absolute joke of a business. I would give NEGATIVE stars if I could. Made an Appointment online for 1 PM and she called me and asked if I could do 2Pm. We had a conversation and I told her that I had to be somewhere at 3:30 that was 30 minutes away and she said OK we can make that work. there was absolutely no parking and no directions on her website whatsoever on how to get there shes located inside of a salon and theres absolutely no mention of that anywhere.. I finally get there and it is the most awkward, uncomfortable energy for a salon. She barely greeted me and called me by "oh, I forgot your name." She was running behind, but made no effort to make me feel comfortable about the fact that she was still going to get me to where I need to be on time. At 2:20 still no mention of that shes running behind and shes moving at the pace of a turtle. This was really important to me and now I have to go home and do my own makeup. Completely ruined my energy and excitement I had. I would literally never recommend my worst enemy to this establishment or this lady. She was rude and unprofessional, and I seriously cannot believe she has any business at all. Patricia thanks for absolutely nothing. You suck.

Kel I cant say enough wonderful things about this salon! The owner, John, is a wonderful man. He truly cares about his staff and his clients. It felt like a family atmosphere the moment I walked it. Kelly Cannon This was our first time at Guys and Dolls and we couldnt have loved it more! This salon has so much style, history, sass and talent - its a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. Owners Jonathan and Francisco are a dream team and treated us like VIP! Not to mention their adorable Salon Security guard dog, Dexter who cuddled with us while we waited during my sons appointment. My 14yr old received a cut and perm by John - who was professional, accommodating and perfectly coifed himself. Guys and Dolls has become my sons home salon and we HIGHLY recommend them!

I was pleasantly surprised when I immediately received a phone call from Jonathan, the owner, who confirmed my appointment and welcomed me to the salon. When I got there, I was charmed by the whole place, from the retro fun feel to the fifteen year old shop dog, Dexter, who greets you at the door. My stylist Ellie did a fantastic job on my cut, and she was correcting the work of another stylist (from a different salon), which is not an easy task. I wholeheartedly recommend this salon, and I will continue to visit Ellie and Guys and Dolls to maintain my cute new cut.

From the moment I got in touch with the salon owner, John (hope I’m remembering his name correctly), I knew I was set for a special experience. He was so kind and patient over the phone while explaining what I should expect with my first appointment with them. On the day of, I was welcomed by the staff and my hairstylist, Toni. Toni is an absolute treasure, and an incredibly talented one at that. She gave me the BEST CURLY HAIRCUT I have ever received. Paula LaPointe I have grey, shoulder length naturally curly hair. I like to wear the natural curl most of the time but soften it into smooth curls (with body) for more formal events. I really struggle finding a stylist that knows how to cut and style my curly hair to look good for both. That was before booking with Paris. She did a consultation with me first and added a shining conditioner to make my hair look really healthy. She then cut my hair prior to doing my natural curly style and then blow dry to a soft curl style. Both look FANTASTIC and my hair looks very healthy and very pretty. Big thumbs up for my time with Paris at Guys and Dolls!

Claire Grimes Came in with almost black hair due to another salon not giving me what I asked for. I called Salon Nirvana and they were so friendly and made me feel confident on the phone they could fix my hair. Igor is amazing! I left with EXACTLY what I was looking for. Laura McCauley Great salon; friendly, caring, professional and customer service driven. I chose to go out of my comfort zone and try something very different. The team followed up the next day by text to ensure my satisfaction with the results. I wasn’t loving it and shared my thoughts in my response. They immediately reached out and opened some time for me that afternoon to get it fixed. And I love the end result! Louise’s deep understanding of hair and its protection is evident in her consistently delivering remarkable results. My hair has never looked or felt healthier. Jojo Tammy at Olivier Salon in Fort Lauderdale is truly the best! She has been my hairstylist for over 22 years, and her expertise in color is unmatched. She mixes Wella products to a science, and I always leave with the perfect color and highlights. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she is also professional and efficient—when I arrive, she’s ready to go, and I’ve never had to wait. With over 25 years of experience, she works hard to ensure all of her clients are happy. I also have to give a huge compliment to Dan—he is the best at eyebrows! The salon itself is always spotless, and the entire team is so helpful and welcoming. Olivier Salon is always a great experience from start to finish!

Paula Dorado Mia is the most talented and kind hair stylist I have ever gone too. She ALWAYS listens to what I want my hair to look like and guides me through the process. She always explains the steps and is very transparent about the pricing. Mia is also a stylist that is constantly learning new techniques and methods for coloring and cutting hair. I highly recommend her and Olivier Salon.

She just moved to this new salon and I had to follow her, I even drove all the way from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale because she is THAT GOOD!! She literally saved my hair and does the best work every time! Aysha Mahmood I’m not one to leave bad reviews so it is unfortunate I have to leave this. I came in for a consultation for extensions and a haircut. Autumn, the owner, suggested waiting to cut my hair until after getting the extensions, which I agreed with. I asked for a bang trim instead, requesting side-swept bangs that could be on the shorter side, just needing a refresh. As she started cutting, I mentioned it was looking choppy. She said my hair was dirty (even though I had washed it that morning) and had me get it washed. Afterward, I clarified my preferences to avoid a bad cut: 1. Side-swept bangs 2. Shorter, but still looking good 3. Face-framing 4. I don’t style my hair after washing, so I needed it to lay naturally. Autumn snickers and said, “Wow, that’s a long wish list.” My friend whom I had gone with her jaw dropped when autumn said this. I was also a little taken aback. When I left, my bangs were fried from the blow drying. I had to run home and wash them before going back out, they were an absolute mess—choppy, uneven, and not framed properly. This is one of the worst bang cuts I’ve had in 15 years, and now I have to wait for them to grow out. I was excited to come here, but after this experience, I cant see myself spending $1800 every 3-4 months on new extensions with the risk of another bad outcome. EDIT TO RESPONSE: I’m lowering my review from 2 stars to 1 star because the business responded by assuming I would never be satisfied with their service, which I find discriminatory. This assumption was made despite the fact that I clearly expressed my excitement and eagerness for my extensions when I first arrived. Commending on Autumn’s social media presence and success with extensions and her response being she had just done two sets this morning. Here is the picture of my bangs in the car RIGHT after my appointment and here are my bangs 3 days later. This does not look like a *professional* cut my bangs. They are a choppy mess. I couldn’t be more disgusted in a response. You called my hair dirty and ruined the hair framing my face and should be ashamed of yourself Autumn. ****Anyone can check my profile and see the rest of the reviews I’ve written. Lauren Hetzel My cut and color from Gladys was PHENOMENAL. I moved down here a few months ago and have been so stressed about trying a new salon after being with my last blonding specialist for 7 years. But it was way past time. I don’t think I have ever ended up with a color more perfect for my skin tone. I also have red undertones in my hair so it’s easy get results that either end up too brassy or too white, especially with a new colorist. I realized as Gladys was almost done coloring that I didn’t give her a ton of instructions about what I was looking for, more of just a general sentiment, so I was a little nervous before she took the foils out. But this is perfect. It looks bright and sophisticated and makes my eyes pop like crazy. The color is somehow both natural looking a statement blonde. Obsessed.

Grace Redden I had an amazing experience with Izzy! She is the sweetest and incredibly knowledgeable. She not only gave me a great trim but also took the time to explain how to style my hair at home and which products she uses. I hadn’t touched my hair in two years because I was hesitant to trust anyone, but after hearing so many great things about her and FORM, I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did—I absolutely love my hair and have finally found a stylist I can trust. If you have curly or textured hair, you definitely need to see Izzy!

TBG I had been wanting to try The Form Hair Studio and have found my new salon. I walked in without an appointment and Jhanna was so kinds and accommodating. All the stylists were busy, so she called Ruben to see if he could return to salon. I didn’t expect for her to do that and didn’t want to be a bother. But Ruben was able to return and I was so thankful. What I love is that he cut my hair dry, that is the correct way to cut hair. The color he did was fantastic and he was just so nice. I was a little scissor shy coming in after a couple haircuts elsewhere that did not turn out the way I wanted, and Kaylee and the whole Form team eased all my anxiety from the very beginning. Not only was Kaylee so accommodating, letting me come in for a consultation to meet and discuss my hair goals (shoutout Jhanna for getting me scheduled quickly and seamlessly), but she also took the time to understand my hair, its texture, and the look and feel I wanted. So important!!! When I tell you that was everything I was looking for, that was everything!!! And the precision with which she cuts hair is amazing. I was blown away and could not have asked for a more bespoke experience. I’ve absolutely found my go-to stylist in Kaylee and if you’re looking for someone you can trust with your locks, look no further!! Kirk gholson Edit: This business owner accused me of threatening her and targeting her business. For the record, all Im seeking is a refund due to our trip being cancelled at the beginning of COVID at no fault of our own. The business refused to speak with me over the phone and instead only responds via Google reviews despite many attempts to have ONE phone conversation as Ive requested via text. The owner asked why I do this 5 years later? My answer is that I need to share my story of losing an expensive deposit during a pandemic where the owner refuses to this day to even have one conversation with me, because I want to prevent anyone else from giving this business their money thinking there was an owner or Management that they could speak to if there was some large issue that came up (anything). This is not one of those businesses. They took my money, refused to have a conversation with me and I will not be getting it back. Just think about that as you consider giving them your well earned money. Should they have a conversation with me to finally hear me out as to why I believe Im entitled my money back, that will be the time that I gain respect for them. Not too much to ask. Original review about my experience seeking a refund for a 2020 ppointment for my wife Raychel Coleman Gholson. We had to cancel due to our entire trip being cancelled due to covid. Multiple times Ive been texted back & called back by the business & team about getting a refund. Multiple times Ive been ghosted after being told a manager would have to approve the refund. She asked me questions before we started and really took the time to hear and see what I wanted. She also talked me through the steps and taught me how to do my hair at home so that I can achieve similar results. I have NEVER been so in love with my hair until now. Valentina Rizo I had the absolute worst experience at Curl Pop. The staff was unprofessional and completely unprepared for my appointment. I showed up on time, only to wait over 30 minutes without so much as an apology. When they finally started, the stylist didn’t listen to anything I said about how I wanted my hair done. Instead, they did whatever they wanted, and the result was a disaster. My curls were uneven, and the products they used left my hair feeling greasy and weighed down. To make matters worse, the stylist was rude and dismissive when I tried to voice my concerns. The entire experience felt rushed and sloppy, and I walked out feeling worse than when I came in. On top of all that, their prices are outrageous for the poor quality of service they provide. I would never recommend Curl Pop to anyone. Save your time, money, and hair go somewhere else!

Jaresyss Gordon-Rey I experienced the world of Curl Pop culture this past July, and it was the best hair cut experience ever. I will never ever allow anyone else to mess with my curls ever again. What Aleisbel and the curl pop team have created is a space, a world per say where you can allow your curls to be themselves because the cut is tailored to your specific curl type. Alesibel really listened to what I wanted for my hair and delivered! Curl Pop Tip # 1 Ask for the special massage from John Curl Pop Tip #2 Diffuse at all angels. I used to diffuse my hair with my head straight up looking forward. I learned from my first visit that if volume is what you are looking for, diffuse side to side, head flipped forward, and head tilted back.

Cindi Aguilar I wanted to have better volume with my curls so I gave Ouidad Salon a try. Natalie was my stylist and she gave me a cut that helped my curl volume. She not only listened to my concerns but also explained how to style my hair to achieve more volume. I left the salon looking amazing and when I did my hair the next day I noticed a wonderful change in volume. The way that they shampooed and conditioned my hair was very nice and relaxing. I would definitely recommend going to this salon.

Angie Miller The stylist gabby did my hair and she spent over 5hours and the end result was copper and gold she said she will not redo my hair for free. I was willing to repay and redo my hair as a little bit more time has passed to get a redo. I booked an appointment. Appt rearrange my entire week had an event to go to that evening and when I got there after 45 minutes of driving in traffic, the receptionist told me she’s short staffed and that they had notified me about 30 minutes ago that my appointment has been canceled. I did not get the memo. I would’ve not accepted that after confirming my appointment over five times throughout that week via text email and phone that is not professional that is not how I would run my business in that way I would’ve called in any other stylist to accommodate my customer then simply telling her there’s a salon next-door. See if they will take you, I don’t do my hair at random salons. I’ve never gotten treated in this manner. This is unprofessional, unexpectable, and unacceptable. I will never get my hair done at the salon again I value my money and my time I do not want to get treated as if I’m doing something wrong when I make an appointment pick up my highlights and haircut hello beautiful is supposed to speak for itself. It’s supposed to make you feel beautiful after you pay your hard-working money One every time I go in there it’s over $300 and it has never been the ending result of what was agreed upon so I don’t know how they stay in business and I don’t even know if they have their cosmetology licenses to do here or anything Beauty at that location.

Jose Carlos Pichardo I cant speak about the quality of service provided by the other stylists, but Olivia does outstanding top quality work. Pricing is low for the quality you get. Other salons charge a lot more for mediocre work. Olivia is an expert in hair color and can do amazing color combinations and blends. A true hair artist. Best hair cut and color I have ever had. The place is spacious with hip decor. Only paid parking is available (welcome to the beach) but its reasonable. I usually spend about $5 for two hours.

bella harris swore by this place until my last appointment. asked for a 1-1.5 inch cut and curtain bangs longer than my jaw. showed 2 reference pics. she gave me uneven layers, VERY short hair over my shoulders and the worst part was the 2 inch difference uneven curtain bangs. one almost touches my eyebrow and has a blunt cut. she said she would cut it long first than adjust but chopped the whole thing. i am devestated and wont ever come back here after that, her name was hanna. nice girl just ruined my hair and my self confidence.

Taylor Puleri Booked basic brown color and a hydrating treatment. The once my color was already done I was told she couldn’t find the treatment. She used conditioner instead. Then didn’t full wash out the conditioner and was not gentle with my hair.

Shelley Mihalko Source Salon is beautiful and everyone is professional and friendly. My stylist, Kristen Nicolette is superb! She’s also an Aveda instructor so her techniques are impeccable and she knows what’s trending! I’ve gotten 3 hair cuts from her and the latest one she completely changed my style. I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on it! Everyone says it’s the perfect style and length for my face and it took 10 years off! I won’t ever go to anyone else!!!

I’m a mom of 4 and 2 out of 4 are autistic and non verbal Ms Debbie is the most patient and kindest soul you would ever meet. She doesn’t care nor discriminate against children with autism! This will be the second time that she has done their hair and both times she has done an outstanding job not only on their hair but just the way she handled my special needs children. She took her time with the girls and went above and beyond to make sure that they were comfortable! If you are a parent and you are looking for some one to help you with your child’s hair that has special needs this is the place to be! Ms Debbie and her staff are all very nurturing and not to mention very attentive and alert!
