Emily Flores Love this place!! I see Destiny and she is AMAZING! I always get a gloss and blowout with her and she always takes such good care of my hair. I had an allergic reaction to something the first time I went and she worked with me to find the root cause. She gave me shampoo/conditioner samples to see if it was the shampoo or conditioner or if it was the gloss/product she was using. She followed up with me and texted me for an update to make sure I was okay too! Definitely recommend 10000% if you want a hairstylist who cares about your hair and hair health! Brieanna Rau I have been seeing Nikki for about a year now. She took me from dark brown box dye to this beautiful blonde while keeping my hair healthy! Natasha Olivares Worst hair cut/experience of my life!! I barely made it out the door before I started crying. I am absolutely mortified with the cut I was given. I asked for a small center section of whispy long bangs. I explicitly said no layers in the bottom of my hair and now I have layers that fly up that I hate. I asked for the cut on the blonde and what I got was bangs cut straight across my head above my eyebrows. Its absolutely awful. There is nothing I can do with them, because they are wayyyyyyy too short. I had to color out my face as my eyes are very red and puffy. I now have to wear a hat everyday for the next couple months because the bangs are too short to make them even look decent. Also, if you were more focused on the picture I had and my hair instead of talking on the phone while trying to work, then maybe it would have been a different experience.

yasniely yaber The first time I went to this salon Sylvanna herself cut my hair. I wasn’t impressed and felt like she didn’t cut my hair the way I requested. It seems like she only know how to give one certain cut. Didn’t come back until the following year and this time only for a wash and blow dry. The lady who washed and blow dryer my hair was excellent. I believe her name was Kenya. Weeks later I returned and Kenya was no longer working there. Sylvanna refused to give me her contact and said she didn’t have it. Lies. She insisted I get a wash and blow dry by a new person she had hired who ended up doing a terrible job. My hair smelled like burned hair for weeks after. Even after washes. Sylvanna is all about money and she is shady. I can’t recommend this place.

McKenzie Dahmen I called today and asked if she could take a walk in, and she said to come in. So I did! I was greeted by Sylvana herself, she brought me immediately to wash my hair, asked me what Id like, then gave me exactly what I had asked for for under 20 minutes. AMAZING! Her personality, cleanliness, skillfulness shows how much she loves her job. I will 100% be going back, friendly to all, bilingual, and well priced. They also do many other things. The hairdresser pulled me so much that even my skull hurts. My hair is curly but it is easy to manage, you just have to know how to blow it with a good blow dryer. Lisa Heflin I had the WORST haircut at another salon - I had to stop the hairdresser and leave it was so bad. I call in tears and spoke to Ximena. She said to come right over. She was able to rescue my hair and fix the cut into a workable style while it grows out. She was amazing and calmed me down. She explains everything and took the time to really restructure my hair. I will NEVER go to another salon. I am a customer for life. I cannot recommend the salon and Ximena enough

Terri A Lodge Rumours is the best salon I have ever used. The owner, Marsha is amazing. Her skills with hair and coloring is phenomenal. Recently I lost a great deal of my hair and no one could explain to me why. Marsha has been working with me and my hair is growing back. No matter what your hair is like - she will have you looking your best. If you have to wait a little for an appt - WAIT. Trust me, she is worth the wait! Also her houseboat is so much fun!

Vodkashots Grew up at the Selfish Marina in Palm Beach County and coming here to get my haircut makes me feel like being at home again... Friendly atmosphere with Good Vibes, I get my hair done by Jasmine and its perfect every time! NANCY MONYHAN Hands down best salon in the area. Great work at reasonable prices. Everyone is wonderful, attentive, caring, and friendly. You never have to wait more tha a few minutes and then you are warmly greeted and offered a drink- my fave is the chocolate martini - YUM! Cyndi always does a fantastic job with my color and cut, she is always open to new ideas and has an eye for what looks good on you. The whole crew is like a family, and I consider Cyndi my friend, as well as my hair artist. Can’t say enough about this angelic, charming salon...and it’s on a boat as well! Karen LaPorte What a wonderful SPA day my husband surprised me with at Rumors on the Water! Jazmine was the best at making sure it was everything and more! Began with a moisturizing paraffin feet and hands while I recieved a ageless facial. Then a gel nail manicure and pedicure. Next was a redo on my hair...dye with highlights, cut wash moisturizer and style. Break for a sushi lunch on the terrace. Then face wax and make-up. Jazmine is especially great with hair. Mine has never looked better. As she is an artist, she was able to suggest and do. I will be back every six weeks. Oh, did I mention it comes with a complimentary chocolate martini a specialty of Marcia the owner. An relaxing and energizing day! My husband is a keeper!

Alex Wilson I love changing up my overall every look every no and then by making big changes to my hair, but I don’t like making frequent trips to the salon. That’s why I love seeing Roni at La-Te-Da. She does such an amazing job helping me create the look I want, from color to cut, while working my color so that I can go up to 3 months between appointments. I’ve had people tell me that they travel out of town to get their color done because they don’t know a good colorist in the area, and I always tell them, you have to go see Roni at La-Te-Da. She does such an amazing job.

Heather Haywood Had a wonderful facial with Annabelle and when I walked in I had a terrible haircut. The lady that cut it did it without an appointment on the fly and she fixed the quote" wonkiness" of my hair for which Im very grateful

marry poppins Had to cancel a couple of appointments because of serious health issues. When I saw Josh, he used a very weird shampoo so my scalp is still irritated, did a very poor hair cut, highlights, charged extra for missed appointment and completely overcharged me.

Katarina Pomaybo I had my hair done by Katie Perkins. I was looking for a talented hairstylist for couple of years now since I moved to Florida. I wanted to go to someone who loves their job and is really an artist at what they do. Katie was everything I have been looking for. She knew what my hair needed before I even said anything and it was exactly what i wanted. She is talented and very knowledgeable, has years of experience and is an artist! Highly recommend! amy hogan I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon and it’s staff! As a former stylist it can be difficult sometimes to sit back and put your trust in someone else. Not the case at Salon TATE! Maribeth is my stylist and she is amazing. Josh cuts my son’s hair and he is amazing. I’ve had cuts before from Katie and Tim. Also AMAZING! We have been following Leslie and Chris on their channel for quite some time, and our experience truly exceeded all expectations. The highlight of our visit was meeting one of the owners, Leslie. She went above and beyond to accommodate us, taking the time to answer all of our questions with great patience and care. sreyes 0219 Even though I never been there, I watched some of Chris videos on YouTube and I found them very helpful. My hair type is 2b wavy, and can easily have beautiful big voluminous curls…at the hair salon. After I watched the “How to Get Curls to Last For Days” video, I convinced myself to grab my old, barely used curly iron, I removed the clip to be able to use it as a wand, and it’s still hard for me to believe how easy it was! I finally was able to make beautiful big curls! And the best part is that I spent less time and effort now than when I was trying other methods and failed. Thank you Chris for helping me achieved this hair style milestone!

Yasar Aktas I booked an appointment at 4:30 with Lorenay. She was nice, but I was frustrated to find out she had another client at the same time. I can’t stand when stylists double-book—it makes the experience feel rushed and unprofessional. My haircut lasted about 12 minutes, and someone else washed my hair. I even asked for a blow-dry, but it felt like an inconvenience rather than a standard part of the service. When I got home and took off my shirt, I realized my entire head area was still covered in hair—clearly, no effort was made to clean me up properly. What really annoyed me was when Lorenay told another stylist, “Ask him if he wants any product, and he’s good to go.” That felt dismissive, like I was just being pushed out the door. A good haircut is priceless, but customer service matters just as much. I heard from a coworker that this place was one of the best, but based on my experience, I strongly disagree. I won’t be coming back.

Diamond Sigurani I booked a wash, trim, and hot tool style with Lorenay a week in advance and was quoted for $85. While the cut was nice, she rushed me out after the blowout, saying there wasn’t time to curl it. An assistant eventually stepped in, but it took her over 40 minutes to curl my hair, making me late, and I was charged extra for my “thick long hair”. No one apologized for the delay or the booking mistake. Though I tipped both ladies and appreciated their efforts, I left disappointed with the experience and the final result.

Michelle Smith Highly recommend this salon! It was my first time in, I was able to get a walk in appointment. I have long thick hair and asked for a choppy layered look. My hairdresser was Loranai (I hope that’s the correct spelling) and she was AMAZING; very talented, knowledgable about hair, thorough, and gives an incredible head massage during the shampoo. Will Hutcherson My stylist Brock Epperson is top notch! He is passionate about the art of hair styling and puts his effort in every time. Many of my friends, guys and ladies, go to Brock and have the same feedback. Quality service and great environment. As for the other stylists, Im not sure since every salon suite is owned / operated by individual stylists, so quality may vary.

Nick 0405 Sal is always the best for cuts, he can also get you right with a clean shave and a fresh design! My go to!!

Eduardo Eduardotiger Sal is truly in a league of his own when it comes to barbering. I recently got a mid fade, and it was absolute perfection. The precision and attention to detail he put into blending everything seamlessly, from my hair to my beard outline, were unmatched. It’s rare to find someone who not only knows what they’re doing but also takes pride in getting it right every single time. What makes Sal’s shop stand out even more is its unique and meaningful theme centered around Allah. Although I’m not religious, I find myself looking forward to the fascinating and thought-provoking conversations we have every time I’m in his chair. Sal has a way of creating an environment that’s not just welcoming but also deeply engaging. As someone in the military, I visit a lot of barbers while away, and they always seem to miss the mark. But coming home and sitting in Sal’s chair is like hitting the reset button—he consistently fixes every mistake and leaves me feeling confident and sharp. He’s never failed me, and that level of reliability is rare to find. Becky Sterling Hiring Jamie to handle hair & makeup on my wedding day was a no-brainer. Jamie listened and looked at all the inspiration photos I had saved for how I wanted my hair & makeup to look that day and she overdelivered! Leaving my hair and makeup trial, I had never felt more beautiful and was so excited to have her be there for the biggest day of my life. Jamie was on time and made sure that we all felt comfortable. She even asked each girl how they typically wear their makeup, ensuring that everyone felt beautiful in their own skin, and boy did she deliver. One of my bridesmaids has hair that we joke is impossible to curl – her hair had perfect beach waves from 10am until long after the night ended.

Holly Hamilton JLC is a high quality and experienced provider of makeup and hair for weddings! I used them recently for my Sanibel beach wedding and I was highly satisfied. Cindy styled myself and 4 other ladies in my wedding party with hair and makeup. She was so nice and also very talented with both hair and makeup. She created a gorgeous braid for me and my hair has never looked so good with the curls that she did. The makeup was flawless. She also worked with me initially with a couple ideas during my trial. She also was able to take all of our ideas and inspiration photos and turn us into real life beauties! Highly recommend working with JLC for your wedding or other event!

Emma Budden Jamie and her team are amazing! I was so beyond happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding. The airbrush makeup was light weight and looked flawless. It literally lasted all day and all night. Everyone who had their hair and makeup done for my wedding was so happy. Jamie is also very professional and timely. She does not disappoint! We also had Jamie’s husband cater the food (JLC Bubbles & Brunch) for while we were getting ready and it was delicious. He setup a beautiful grazing board with a bunch of different meats, cheeses, fruits, crackers, and other breakfast items . Not only was the food delicious but it was super convenient to just snack throughout the day. The mimosas were also a great touch. Jamie and her husband are the best! Highly recommend!

David Wheeler Wendy did a good job. My appointment was 12:15 and she was about 10 minutes late ,lunch break,. Very nice lady and good cut. Cost is now $26 for a mens cut. Just a couple of years ago it was under $15.

Heidi Peterson i took a chance for my first cut at this salon and after checking the most recent reviews, chose Wendy as my stylist. She was great! She took time to get to know how I liked my hair cut, and was patient to work with me. it was refreshing to have a seasoned stylist at a franchise salon who knows hair and is willing to work with the client. I will be back.

Mary Lullo I am writing to share a detailed account of the unsatisfactory service my mother received at your salon on January 19, 2025. My mother had an appointment for a roller set with Rosa scheduled for 2:45 p.m. Unfortunately, Rosa was unable to attend due to a family emergency, and Chelsea stepped in to take over the appointment. I entrusted my mother to Chelsea’s care and left the salon for about an hour. When I returned, I was surprised to find my mother still seated in the styling chair with wet hair and only six rollers in place. Chelsea informed me that she was having difficulty setting my mother’s hair in rollers. Given that we were pressed for time and I noticed that Chelsea was also attending to another customer, I took it upon myself to remove the six rollers and began blow-drying my mothers hair. After approximately ten minutes, Chelsea returned and requested to finish drying my mother’s hair. I asked her to use a curling iron to achieve the desired look. However, Chelsea stated that a curling iron was unavailable. I took the initiative to find one in the salon and handed it to her. Once Chelsea finished curling my mothers hair, I observed that she struggled with teasing it to create volume. I found myself demonstrating how to tease half of my mother’s hair, which was quite disappointing given that this is a fundamental skill for a stylist. To our dismay, when we checked out, we were charged $42. Normally, we pay $25 for this service with Rosa. Upon questioning the increase, I was informed that we were being charged for two services. This charge feels unjust considering the subpar service we received that day. Given these circumstances, I request either a refund or credit for this appointment. Additionally, it would be beneficial for Chelsea to receive further training in properly executing roller sets to prevent this situation from happening in the future. therapy4thesick If I could give a negative 5 I would. Sooo mad !!!! Hair dresser did not listen. Cut way to short when I warned her she kept cutting seemed to have her own version of what she was going to do. My hair was to the bottom of my neck when she asked how long I put up 2 fingers to my hair and said little past half my neck. See pic see what she chopped let alone what she did to the front. Guess Ill be wearing a hat for a few months

Paige had excellent insight with my type of hair and suggested a different shampoo and toner occasionally for the color I prefer. Misty Nicolei Megan was my stylist and she did an outstanding job!! She is SO incredibly sweet and accommodating, I truly appreciate her as a person as well as a stylist. She is as real as it gets, such a wonderful woman! I CAN NOT WAIT to go back and see her!!!! Highly recommend!!

Maria I hate leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately it is what it is. This has been my go to salon for 2yrs and I now had to find a new hair salon because after multiple attempts of trying to text my new stylist and call/text the salon I have yet to hear a response from anyone (mind you this is not the first time this happens). I guess they don’t want more business? I get people are busy, but at least a response back at a somewhat timely manner is professional. Ever since my hair stylist Roxanne left it hasn’t been the same… Had to find a new salon

Maureen MacIntosh I have seen Megan (@slayedby_meg) as my stylist twice now and she is so sweet and does a great job! The facility is interesting as its different stylists who operate separately so just make sure you know the name of who youre seeing to find their appropriate area. The facility was clean and tidy. I wont be going anywhere else!

Abbe Grevious Julia has been my hair girl for 6+ years and I cannot recommend her enough! She is easy to talk to, welcoming, knowledgeable, honest, and worth every penny I spend! She always makes my hair look and feel fabulous and is an expert in blondes and extensions. We have done multiple styles, colors, treatments over the years and I am always over the moon with how she can make any vision I have come to life and tell me how to keep it that way until my next visit.

Valeria Ruiz Looked at the reviews for this salon and decided to make an appointment same day and don’t regret it at all! I got a color anf cut + style. Gladys was such a fun and sweet stylist and makes you feel very welcome! She works very time efficiently and the result came out stunning. My hair feels refreshed and healthy again! Karen Men The pictures speak for themselves! I went to get a red color and this is what I came out with, mismatched sections of red, brown and my own color. I had to go to a different hair salon to fix their mistake. The price I paid was for a professional stylist not the apprentice Regan…. Not a place I would recommend to anyone..

dana vernot I never post negative reviews. But in this case I had to. I dont want anyone else to go through this experience. I originally requested a wash and go with a trim but asked for the taper of my hair to be touched up along with some twists. My appointment was with the owner but I was passed to someone else (last minute). My hair was not washed or stretched/detangled before it was cut. Unfortunately it seems that they do not specialize in natural hair COMPLETELY. Maybe braiding but NOT cutting,trimming, styling. Although the owner did not do my hair, I think it shows a lack of integrity to leave a FIRST time client with someone that inexperienced. And then charge $100+. Im so disappointed. BUT after posting the review, the owner was gracious enough to fix my hair and it looks so good! She also ensured that I was fully refunded for the prior situation.(Think of the first pictures as the before and the second half as after.) She really cares about her craft.Thank you again for your time and attention!

Nakiesha Cooper I booked the Curly Girl Meetup Class hosted by Mo and I am extremely happy that I decided to attend this class. The information received was worth so much more than the cost of the class. Mo provided so many valuable hair care tips to take the necessary steps in caring for you hair. Not only did she provide us with information verbally she also supplied us with a Healthy Hair Blueprint booklet, this booklet is like a bible for hair care!! Mo exceeded all expectations with this blueprint, it has so much valuable information that you can literally become your own hairstylist. The class was full of great information but was also very welcoming. Mo and her staff makes you feel very comfortable because dealing with hair loss and hair damage can be emotional and hard to express how you feel about your hair. Mo also gave us numerous opportunities to ask questions, she provided us with refreshments and goody bags. I learned so many valuable things about starting on my healthy hair journey. Cathy Ken H My Mom recently moved to fort Myers and Emily has done a cut and color two times now and both times the results we fantastic, best Moms hair has looked in at least a decade. Emily did such a great job that I decided while I was visiting from NE Alabama I would give her a try and I can honestly say that yesterday at the age of 56 I received the best haircut and style I have had in my adult life, she nailed it! I also love the color job she did, helping me to naturally grow out my new silver hair. Highly highly recommend Emily! (Everyone else was super friendly and the salon was extremely clean and professionally run).

Jill Swan Bellisimo makes my hair awesome! I was excited to experience their new product line, Davines, and it is great! Straightening treatment is so gentle compared to other hair straighteners, and the results are outstanding. As a woman of a certain age, the lowlights are perfect to blend my gray hair naturally. It lasts longer and doesnt require root maintenance. Who wants to deal with roots?! And I love my new summer cut! Thanks Jahn and Rachel!
