Madeline Garay I came to the salon for a haircut and highlight service from Kaira Fox. I’ve been going to her for about two years for my haircut and highlight and followed her here when she moved salons. It’s very difficult to find someone here in South Florida That not only cares about your hair, but also giving great service. Kaira is very gentle with my hair and is absolutely an expert with blonding. She makes me feel very comfortable and I completely trust her with my hair. My hair keeps it vibrancy for very long after my service. I don’t like getting my hair done often, and she makes sure that my highlights are very natural and can grow out subtly. She is my go to here in South Florida and an absolute gem!

Jennifer Brown I was scared to come into the salon because I had tried someone at a different salon when I first moved back to FL in September and she messed up my hair. The moment I walked into Tomy Mishali Salon the front desk was very welcoming. I sat down in Kaira’s chair and she made me feel so comfortable. She took the time to listen to me and make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. She’s very caring, kind, sweet AND most of all I LOVE my hair! She did such an amazing job. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to do blonde! Tomy was also very sweet and accommodating. He made sure that I always had water and anything I needed. I left feeling happy and my hair feeling pretty plus Tomy gave me some samples that I can’t wait to try! Thank you so much for this experience! Debi I visited the salon yesterday for the first time. I am a snow bird and hesitant to try someone new. The person answering the phone was very helpful and scheduled me with Kaira. I had a free consultation first and then decided to proceed with the services I wanted. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job! I was so pleased with her work. The salon is lovely and welcoming.

Sarah Butler WOW!!! I spent 7 hours here and my hair has never looked this good in my life. I requested extensive highlighting using 10 volume peroxide on my mid- back length fine hair. Well over 100 foils. Bianca then followed with a hair mask as I had also requested. She then toned/ root scraped/ blowdryed and trimmed my hair.

Eve Mi Adore my talented hairdresser Alon who Ive been going to for years & absolutely love the decor & artwork of Tomys salon! Staff is very nice & attentive (Brooke who washes the hair, has a great bubbly personality & does nice hair massages too:). Overall always enjoyed my experience there!

Michael Giulianti Erin is a true artist. But she cares about her clients budgets. I give her when I have and she never leaves me unclean. She will move worlds to get me in when I forget Im leaving on a cruise the next day or a wedding to go. And Pearl is her right hand woman. Love them. Best hair salon in Hollywood, FL

Ilene Wand Cookie is the Bomb! She dyed and styled my hair like no one ever has in my past. Total perfection. Cookie is so much fun, a gorgeous beautiful woman and my kind of girl to hang out with cant wait to see her again! Thanks for everything my dear Cookie

Fried Jerome (thecoin1st.x) Erin Ray is one of the hairdressers in the place, and apparently the owner and she fried my wifes hair, causing bald spots, and additional hair loss. We are thinking of taking her to court. I highly recommend AVOIDING this place if you value your aesthetic. Erin is sure to ruin it, or make you look worse by the time you come out. If I could give her ZERO stars, I would.

Le Sing I had microblading done by Vanessa, who was fantastic. My last session was February 11th...She walked me thru the process very well. I want to let you know, when doing research on microblading these girls in the videos make you think there isnt a little pain that comes along with these process. Ha! Ill use the term "beauty knows no pain" there is slight discomfort! But again Vanessa is very observant and has the numbing cream ready to go if youre needing more. The hair solon is clean and the employees are friendly! I highly recommend choosing Vanessa to do your microblading! I am loving my eyebrows!

cristina prieto Ive been coming here for 8 years and Im such a satisfied costumer everytime I come around. They use the most quality products and theyre very experienced. Yohana and Vanessa. Mother and daughter. Theyre the only two that touch my hair and its gotten so healthy since the years Ive been coming here. I also did microblading with Vanessa and my eyebrows are still in tact since i did them 6 months ago. I am truly grateful for having to met them. Erica Marra I was introduced to Yohanna by a friend a few years ago . I am a licensed cosmetologist myself and I am very particular with my own hair beings I have 15 years experience. Mrs.Yohanna is an amazing artist and is very knowledgeable and patient with me as she knows I am very picky with my hair. She really goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied with my hair every time I go to her . I recommend Mrs.Yohanna to anyone that lives in Broward County. With 25 years of experience she most definitely has an excellent skill set and she is truly blessed with her hands . Mrs.Yohanna and Vanessa are both amazing! Those blow dries are worth it ladies be generous because they both take their time on each client. Very busy but they are both worth the wait so be patient as they are very busy but I promise it’s worth the wait and every $$$. God truly blessed these ladies !!! Highly recommend

Marjorie Garcia Suni is amazing along with all her crew members. She has been cutting my hair since I was 15 years old. Now she cuts my daughters hair as well! Friendly fast service. She is the only person I trust to cut my hair. I used to drive down from GA just for her to cut my hair.

Kerri-Anne Hein Suni is the owner of the salon. She is old school so she really cares about your hair and she doesnt purposely take your money for any reason. Ive been going to see her for 5 years now and I have seen her decline money from customers because she refused to give them what they wanted just because of the money. Meaning, if the customer wants something done that she believes will damage your hair, she will not do your hair. She is excellent at being a hairstylist. She performs miracles on womens hair. TRUST ME!!! IVE SEEN IT!

Nancy Nelms Ive been going to this salon for many years. Suni and her other stylists are extremely amazing at what they do. Anika Higgins This was my first time here yesterday to get my eyebrows done after a 12 hour shift. The worker Sara took me to the back she had immediately locked the front door. I was confused on why she did that because my service was already paid for with Groupon in which I told her over the phone when I book my appointment, it just really rubbed me the wrong way since I am person of color and I never experienced a salon do that even working by themselves. Once we was done she demanded I tip her because “she works based on tips” that is what she told me, she never asked me. This is NOT the way to conduct a business, literally to lock a customer inside a salon and demanded a tip was disgusting behavior. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else who visits this establishment!

Glori LOVE IT!!!!! I got highlights and the keratin treatment and Thelma did an amazing job, she is truly an artist! I have (or had ) big puffy/frizzy Dominican hair, and it is so much more manageable now. If I dry it with curlers it comes out smooth and straight, but with a lot of volume as though it had been blow-dried. And when I let it dry naturally, it looks like a tamer/better/calmer version of my natural hair... WAY more improved ( I can even de-tangle it in minutes now without breaking any hair! Something that would have taken hours before!!! ) So easy to wash too, Im really loving my "new hair!" Thanks Thelma! :)

exproskier You cant get a better haircut, especially for $10 bucks. Family owned and operated with a great staff. All barbers know how to cut properly. Quick, clean, and easy on the budget. Cant stand those pretentious salons charging $35 and $45 for mens cuts. Its like Starbucks charging $4.50 for COFFEE!! (And by the way, Cuban coffee steps away for $1.25) !! Do yourself a favor and visit these guys! And the money you save... have dinner with your kids! -Greg

J M Danielle is extremely skilled and personable. I go in on and off due to work schedule and she never forgets my style. Good parking I call ahead and make appt same day sometimes an hour before. When Danielle isnt in Gus does a great job too. I cant believe its only ten dollars I tip well either way.

Shikira Turner I faithfully get my nails done by Leah Barnett! Shes flexible and accommodating but most importantly she takes care of my nails and she can do any design I give her. Because I workout she suggested I switch to Gelx Press ons and i have nails thats longer are retaining length! Shes the best!

Cassidy Ghesquiere I have been getting my nails done by Leah for the past year and she has been AMAZING. She is detail oriented, friendly, open to trying new ideas, and flexible with schedules. I have really enjoyed being her client and recommend her to anyone looking for a manicure! :)

Amanda Arencibia I would like to share my experience at Phenix Salon Suites Hollywood, I go to Brows & Beyond by Jen unfortunately each time I have gone to her to relax and enjoy my services the business owner next door #106 is obnoxiously loud and not considerate that other people are trying to run a business. I was there for almost 2 hours and it was non stop laughing super loud. I understand you can be talking amongst yourselves but is there a need to be so loud when you know other people are working and the suites are so close together. Jen does such an excellent job that I keep coming back even with the loud inconsiderate neighbors. You guys should really rethink who you rent to as this will run off business for other business owners and yourselves. Hope you guys read this review and consider doing something about it.

John Logan My wife recently had a haircut with Dominican Styles Salon. Upon returning home she noticed the back of her neck was cut uneven and looked very bad. While being serviced a family member was there socializing and causing a distraction. She will never return to this stylist again.

I was trying to get a relax facial after work and it was impossible to get a quiet service!!!!! Horrible noise coming from suite # 107 and #106. What is going on!???? This supposed to be a salon spa vibe ! A quiet place. Not some ghetto place! This place looks like the flea market on Lauderhill!

Veronica Hawthorne Found a Groupon for "Bodilicious Body Contour" for Teeth Whitening located inside the Phenix Salon Suites, located next door to the Publix right off Park Road. Marsha McRae offers a wide array of services including skin tightening, cellulite treatments, teeth Whitening among many other services. Marsha is a bright, bubbly sweetheart of a person and totally professional. Youre in great hands with her! These pictures are me and my mothers before and afters. We will be going back for monthly appointments. If your smile isnt as bright as it used to be, try Bodilicious Body Contour. You wont be sorry! I highly recommend it!

Daryn James Last minute decision to go to Tina’s and was pleasantly surprised. We had a Christmas party to attend the next day but due to the season most ppl were booked. Called Tina’s thinking she was going say no openings , especially for 2 girls. She said to come they can do it! We came in a a team of ladies took them to wash and then when a seat came available they started hair right away. Both my daughter’s hair looked amazing! they were so happy!! Laurie Duclervil This was the first time I visited Tina’s, I took my sister to get her hair silk-pressed for a photoshoot. It was a very nice atmosphere and we were welcomed. All the ladies worked together nicely and my sister’s hair turned out amazing. Tina took her time and really seems to put her heart into what she does. We both will be returning very soon. I would highly recommend!

Amber Sims My first time coming here was last Saturday and Tina did my hair nicely! She took her time and knew exactly what I wanted. I left completely satisfied. I tipped Tina and the wash girl everything was great!!! I came back today and the mature lady with the blonde hair did not do a great job!!! She rushed! She did not ask me if I wanted it straightened straight or bumped under she did what she wanted to do. I was not happy and she knew it! Monique Ross Fantastic salon. Char made me feel important as a new client. She kept me informed as I waited for my appointment to begin and throughout my entire appointment. She and her staff are very professional. My hair looks and feels great. The cost was reasonable for the level of service performed. I would definitely recommend this salon!

Nelen Giles Services were basic nothing to brag about. The one thing that was great were their prices. I can definitely see why she’s always busy especially with inflation today. Nothing about my experience stood out. The ladies in there hardly smiled or spoke not to mention it was hot in there. I won’t be going back, I don’t care if they only charge 2cents. Don’t let those 4+ stars fool you!

Niece I totally forgot I left a review for this establishment. I hate to do this but I am updating my previous review. The first time I came to this place I was absolutely in awe at how well the owner did with my hair. It looked good and healthy and the customer service and attitude was incredible. Very friendly. Unfortunately, the last time I went there was sometime in mid 2021. A woman who was either in training or new washed and straightened my hair. When I got up from the seat my hair was thin and damaged. If you knew me youd know my hair is right pass the bra straps of my back and really thick. The look on the owners face and all the other clients spoke volumes when I exited the building. I was in such shock I didnt know what to do but I was in tears. There was nothing I could do to take back what happened. Had I known this lady was damaging my hair I would have stopped her and ended the service. I decided from then on to stick to treating and taking care of my own hair because of the damage that was done. My hair has since grown back and looks full, long and healthy again, but it took almost 2 years to repair the damage that was done. I would not recommend anyone go there and risk what happened to me. I would also recommend that the owner micromanage the new stylists to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Its their business and brand that is on the line.

Tracy Craine I absolutely love SK hair studio. The owner Sang and her assistance Carol are so thorough and professional I had my hair and my daughters hair straightened and they treated us so kind and the hair came out so amazing so straight and shinny this is the second time I have had it done and I will continue to go back to SK Hair Studio. They spent 5 hours on there feet and the whole time kept asking me if I was ok and did I need anything. Very hard workers

Vincent Volante As a fan of K-pop and K-dramas, Ive always wanted to try a Korean perm. It was my first time ever and I was blown away with the outcome! Every step of the perm, from the haircut to applying the curling rods, was done with such great care. They also stock imported-from-Korea hair products that are a must-get! Most of all, the staff are so friendly and you leave the place feeling like your best self. Will definitely keep coming back to SK Hair Studio!

Fiona Nguyen I’ve been looking for a salon that specializes in Asian hair in Miami and I finally found one! Sang, the owner was super thorough and attentive while cutting my hair, correcting the mistakes I made cutting my own hair. Despite the slight language barrier, she did an outstanding job. I always enjoy going to businesses that care about the craft vs the aesthetics - shows they care and it is affordable. Highly recommend. Staff was super polite, kind, and detailed.

Neko Cafe I had a Japanese straight perm done here and it turned out amazing! Im very happy with the results! Staff is super nice and delicate with your hair.

Alexandria Wolf Ashleigh was AMAZING! The salon was short staffed for the day and she came in to help out from another location. She texted me ahead of time asking for pictures of what type of updo I wanted to ensure it was something she could do, which I really appreciated. Once in the salon, she made the whole experience so fun and my hair was PERFECT! Can’t say enough good things about her and thanks to her, my look for the Taylor Swift concert was exactly what I had envisioned. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Madison Brown Malautie was great! I just got a simple haircut but she still took time to tell me what products she was using in my hair and what to use for my hair type! She was very friendly was telling me about herself and getting to know me! Will definitely be back with her!

Katherine Ramirez Nishara is probably one of, if not the best hair stylists that I’ve been to. She really made my hair dreams come true. I have curly hair that hasn’t been the healthiest due to chemical and heat damage and she managed to lighten it up beautifully! Im so grateful for her, im glad to have found her!

Dejah Acevedo absolutely ruined my hair. I asked for her to cut the tips and she literally chopped off my hair. Never once asked if I wanted a relax and did it anyway. The girl who originally cut my hair is Cuban and had no idea what she was doing and parted it in four way and just chopped it off. Andrea did try to fix it but even she didn’t know what she was doing. Finally was able to go to a real hairstylist and she did the best she could. But they absolutely ruined my hair.

Clarke Yubelkiz (Y Clarke) It was amazing. My hair lasted more than 1 week in a half and usually it lasts until the next day. The lady that worked there is great and funny. She even sang Happy birthday to me. Great People with great talent definitely recommend.

Laywon Monestime So my daughter wants to start a loc journey and chose Zaria Salon as she had been there a few other times and loved how they did her hair for other styles. Justin Wells My mother in law went in for a silk press, and it didnt last one day. At other salons her hair lasted pressed. It was extremely disappointing, but she enjoyed the service.
