Amy Mersky Steel Beauty Salon does everything right. Matt greets you in his welcoming way, offering a beverage. Makes all clients feel right at home. The beautiful salon is decorated for Christmas in such a stunning way. Charlynn did an amazing job coloring and cutting my hair today. And I am very fussy! She is a perfectionist, really listens to me before starting. I am always so happy leaving this salon!

Natalie Licata I had a wonderful experience at Steel Beauty Hair Spa. Jose did an amazing job on my hair. He explained everything he was doing, offered great tips, and I have never been so happy with a cut. Having curly hair has made it difficult to find a good stylist who really knows what they are doing and I think I just hit the jackpot! The rest of the staff was also very welcoming, friendly and kind. I highly recommend them!

Marilyn Roberts I have been getting my hair cut by Jose for the last few months. So glad I found him!! Perfect haircut for my baby fine hair. Then I had highlights added. The compliments I get are endless! This isn’t a five minute haircut. Jose takes the time to wash, condition, cut and blow dry for a nice, relaxing visit. No rushing. London Blu I called wanting a specific services. I asked for the best stylist when I went online it listed the stylist as silver, gold, platinum, etc. after speaking back-and-forth with the stylist days the person canceled the appointment when I said, why am I paying full price for a beginning stylist, it was going to be around $300 service And at the last minute they canceled saying I better go to a different place obviously they don’t know the color color and if you question them, they don’t like it. They ask you to put a credit card on file in case you cancel your appointment at the time you make your appointment I never heard of such a thing in all my life, do yourself a favor stay away from this place you can color and cut my hair. You should be selling vegetables on the side of the road. Poor customer service. The salon manager needs to look deeply into this because their service stinks.

Staci Rosenberg Theres truly no words to express my gratitude for this salon. I reached out to Dawn because I recently got my hair done at another salon last week and my hair turned yellow/orange. My stylist tried to fix it making the end product just as ugly. I have never felt more ugly. I reached out in desperation to find someone who specializes in corrective color. Dawn was able to get me in immediately. From the moment I walked into the salon, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I instantly knew I was where I belonged. The entire team (Dawn, Marion and Brianna) all tagged team to get me in and out as quickly as possible which I appreciate so much. Each one of them was sooo incredibly friendly and understanding of my situation. No one judged the condition of my hair. They are honestly all pure souls. They were all so down to earth and easy to talk to. Almost as if you are hanging out with your best friends. Even all their customers were so sweet. Everyone did such a fantastic job on my hair. I know they were limited with how much reversal they could do but my hair came out better then I could have ever dreamed of. I am sooo happy with my final result I could literally cry of happiness. Kristina Lindlief Very disappointed. I was a little taken a back when Christina said it would be $200 for a partial highlight (coming from Newport Beach I paid 1/2 that normally). I trusted that her work would be worth it and I was extremely let down. As a first time client I had hoped she would take the time necessary but to I was double booked with another client. For this reason (in my opinion) she wasn’t paying attention to my hair and washed it off too quickly. 1/2 way thru the wash I’m pretty sure she put bleach directly on my scalp to try and get it to lighten. I told her that I wasn’t happy and she told me to give it a few days. I woke up in the morning to find bleach spots on my scalp. It wasn’t even and the overall goal of brightening around my face wasn’t done. My hair looked the same color but with bleach marks. I told her I would pay for the product but wanted my money back to get it done elsewhere but she stopped returning my messages. Photos are from AFTER her service.

On a side note, she is very affirming with the LGBTQ community, so everyone would be comfortable sitting in her chair! She listens to what each client wants and always delivers! Before that, of course, I first showed the reference to the hostess and the master and another girl what I wanted and constantly repeated that I needed a lot of blonde, and it was also important to me that the top of my head was as blonde as possible, which I told the master.Yes, the master man said that he understood me and he knows his business and everything will be beautiful . Also, the hostess of the salon came up to us and watched the coloring process, saying that everything turns out very beautifully, of course it was very pleasant to hear it, expecting beauty on the head. As a person who has already had a negative experience of coloring, having been left without hair, I started talking when 1 hour and 30 minutes had passed, whether my hair would spoil , when I told the master, he said OK and began to remove the asphalted strands from behind .I grew my hair for a year, of course I wanted to get a beautiful coloring, but what I saw spoiled my mood 100%. After sitting in the salon for almost 5 hours , I expected as much as possible not what I saw in the mirror. And the hostess approached Mater and me , I think because he has little experience in such coloring .The coloring was done quite differently , there was no top in the blonde , the blonde is barely visible, there is no beautiful transition from dark to light . I turned to the administrator and said that I didnt like it. First, a woman with glasses came up to me , explained the situation to her , she agreed with me , and the hostess was called . In a conversation with the hostess, I heard that the hair is still wet, a lot of work has been done, but it is impossible to do such coloring on your hair , such coloring as you want would cost $ 500, and you also need to wash your head a couple of times the color will appear. Then again, questions arise, why was I not told that the coloring would not work as I want, why was I not offered two options for $ 225 and $ 500 if it was possible to do so ?Thats the festive mood they made for me, I wish you also to celebrate Christmas and New Year, as I left your salon in tears. lori sohl I had the most amazing hair cutting experience with Gabriel Colon at Europa Salon & Spa! Gab combined my experience with the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. I have curly hair and if you also have curly hair YOU KNOW how hard it is to find a stylist who truly knows what they are doing. Gab not only has 30 years experience but he has absolutely honed his craft and will tailor a customized cut for you! My experience started with a consultation where he ACTUALLY listened to my concerns and what I wanted. I’m am 53 years old and this is my first ever haircut that I was happy with and left the salon without needing to restyle my hair before going to dinner with my two friends that are also curly and also received excellent care from our new and forever stylist Gab. The transformation was FABULOUS! Did I mention I live in Jacksonville and will absolutely be making the drive for my future haircuts! The sad part is typically, I only get my hair cut every 4-6 months as a curly girl. However, I enjoyed my experience with Gab so much I may switch to every 3 months! Thank you Gab!

Jazmine Satterly I got my hair done here yesterday. It was the worst experience in my life. They mess my hair up so bad. Pacifically a women that works there named Emma. She told me that she could do what they picture looked like so I went for it. It was the worst mistake for my last life. It looked so stripy and patchy. She kept telling that’s what I asked for it was not. I would never want my worst enemy hair look like how my did. So they so that I can leave it or go back to brown and at the point I have to. Then finally she but it back to brown. But in reality it’s not brown it’s black . I hate so bad . I am going to get my hair done the way I wanted to at first a different hair salon. And I am praying they can fix it. I love my hair and now I hate it . . If she could do the picture then she could have said so and I would have left and it wouldn’t even be a problem.

Lillian McAnally Worst waxing ever! I’ve had bikini/brazilian waxing before in Palm Coast and Orlando; none were as bad as this experience. Getting a waxing is already a painful and vulnerable experience, and the esthetician made it worse. The lady was unprofessional. She failed to even introduce herself! The room looked more like an oversized bathroom with a shower, which was weird. It was unkept and didn’t look sterile. The wax product must have been a cheap one because it was still stuck to my skin after I left the place. My skin was irritated for:2 days after the session. She kept blaming me for not having a high tolerance for pain! I gave birth 3x, lady! She was a bit rude and didn’t try to help calm my anxiety by talking to me or distracting me. Part of being a professional is knowing how to communicate with clients. She can’t do that. I’m sure this place has other services that are better but DO NOT EVER go there for a waxing session.

Just Nancy So relaxing, refreshing, and healing. I had a therapeutic deep tissue massage, and Natalia was my masseuse. They gave me a complimentary drink and chocolates. I felt like I was in the lap of luxury. Natalia cut straight to the chase and asked where my pain was, why it could be there, and she was so talented that I took a small nap during the session! Afterwards I felt renewed. I recommend Allure European Day Spa if you want to feel replenished and cared for.

Zulya Rustamova I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. Despite her claimed 11 years of experience, my hair was severely damaged and burnt during the highlight treatment. I had even informed her a few days prior that my hair had been highlighted just two month ago and expressed my concerns about potential damage. She reassured me it would be fine. However, after the treatment, my hair was melted and severely damaged. When I reached out to her the same day, she only suggested basic products and never apologized for the damage. This experience was very upsetting, and I hope this feedback helps others make informed decisions!

Platon Shamaev Yesterday, while waiting for my wife at the nail salon, I decided to get a haircut. The last time I walked into a barbershop without an appointment was in childhood, which resulted in a crooked and terrible haircut. For some reason, I decided to try again yesterday. At the entrance, I was greeted by Chris (based on google reviews), who seemed energetic and friendly. I thought I’d be his client, but he quickly called over a yawning barber sitting outside and handed me off to him. My intuition started flashing red flags, which were confirmed as soon as he began uncertainly combing my hair and cutting with scissors where professionals usually use clippers quickly. I tried to convince myself everything would be fine, but in the end, I relived that childhood experience with a crooked haircut all around. In a daze, I paid $30, though I’m not sure why. I had to go to a neighboring barbershop to fix it for another $20. I don’t think Chris is unaware that his partner or employee is a terrible barber. This experience has taught me to be more cautious about walk-in haircuts and to trust my instincts (reviews) when it comes to choosing a barber.

Cant wait for the she asked if it was ok retoric, clearly doesnt know how to cut naturally wavy hair, the photos are the bangs I asked for vs. the bangs I got!

Erin Commendatore Jen is the bomb! She has been cutting my hair since I first moved here and it went from straw to total soft, healthy, curly, beautiful hair. She cuts my entire familys hair and is totally the best! I highly recommend her. She is 100%!

Mara Marie I wanted 5 inches off to bring my hair between my shoulder blades. She chopped it up above my shoulders then continued to add layers that ended up being so uneven. Had to have someone else try to do their best to clean up the damage but now I have months to grow out this mess. So sad. Never again!

Luke Lukasik These guys are awesome and super skilled. I went by the Man Cave on 10/11/2024 after Milton. They still had no power but these guys set up barber chairs outside to take customers! These guys hustle and do great work. Never had a bad haircut here.

C Roush Barber shop is very clean and the staff was very nice, however, I was told by one of the barbers that the cut my son wanted was a very easy shear cut, the other barber took my son back to his chair, used only clippers, told my son his hair was too thick and to have noone touch it and how a professional couldnt fix it. He didnt do much, and once I got him home I noticed his bangs were a mess and nothing much was cut or even shaped. The prices are great, but being charged for nothing is unsatisfactory. If a "professional " is needed to fix his hair, then the barber should have simply admitted he couldnt cut it, shouldnt have started something he wouldnt complete, and not charged me.

Swarnim Developer Got a good haircut with ManCave at Palm Coast LLC. They have good haircut Specialist. Its just that almost all of them speak only Spanish. Very little English, so sometimes it becomes difficult to convey the exact style a person wants. Regular haircut on weekdays was $25. But you can expect additional charges for Beard and etc. Which is some additional $5-15 bucks. So make sure to tell them before hand if you wanna opt out from that else they can easily bill you upto $50 bucks. But overall satisfied with their work so no issues. Had a good experience.

Kim Baker I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Alex: He was very gracious and entertaining: I was also a last minute appointment due to a curious problem with what I thought was a booked appointment with another salon: I’m an older women and my hair is greying and was pretty scraggly:He did an outstanding job and made me look 10 plus years younger and pretty again,! Well worth every penny! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Cindy Rostron I went to Alex. I went to him because of the great reviews. He said he was going to give me a short bob. Well.....,he didnt give me a bob at all. But he had fixed it in a way that I did like it when I left the salon. But it was only after I washed it myself, that I noticed how it was really cut. Its a total mess. Its all choppy, theres a chunk of hair missing in the middle of my hair at the bottom. Looks like an oops. He said when I washed it, it would fall right into place. Wrong. I cant do a thing with it. Now, Im having to go to someone else to correct it so I wont be embarrassed to go out. And he charged me $50!!!! And he conveniently had no change, so he ended up with a big tip. I will never go back to this salon. I do not recommend Alex.

Carol Keeler Kathy and Tammy are great. Kathy is the one who cuts my hair but Tammy has once. They are fast and know exactly what you want. I totally recommend them . I just went back to Kathy to get a haircut, once again she is great. Tammy is no longer there because of a medical reason but she has two other girls with her. I totally recommend them.
