Patsy McManus First visit and I’m totally excited to find Modish, Cindy and Tiffany. The Salon is super clean and well designed for your comfort. The prices are reasonable and these gals are professional and top notch. You can’t do better!!!

Paula F Today was my first day at Modish. I got pink and white change of toenail polish with gel polish, and Sandy Built with acrylic my two grand Toenails due to trauma in the past. She is very sweet and friendly and she did a fantastic job. I booked my four week appointment before I left the shop.

Gabriely Monei I had an amazing experience at modiSH nails! The service was incredible, and my nails turned out absolutely perfect. Daniela was super friendly, professional, and did an outstanding job. I also loved that she speaks both English and Spanish, making communication so easy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality nails and excellent customer service!

Mackie This place was all right. I came in with a friend to get a pedicure since I’m getting married next week, which I told my pedicurist. Pros: The place looked clean, the lady was very thorough, they took us with zero wait time, had lots of color options, and had a variety of treatments. They also had better prices than my friend had seen in the area. The lady was very gentle and meticulous with cleaning my toenails and cuticles. The shape was excellent. Cons: I spent a long time (none of her time was wasted in this process) meticulously picking out my nail color and showed her exactly which one when she was ready to paint. This was important because my toes will be showing at my wedding and I want them matching my manicure. She then proceeded to use a totally different color and when I pointed it out, she brushed it off saying my color was too light and it would look fine in the end. I asked her if she would put the color I chose over the white base she applied. She brushed me off and never even touched the color I had chosen. I then asked for specific color flowers which she did, but the petals were uneven and the center dot was a weird bright pink which clashed with the dark blue. In the end, I was charged $15 extra for gel polish in a color I didn’t ask for. The pedicure was $32, the gel was $15, and the design was $5. Like I said in the pros, it was clean but I didn’t see any actual cleaning of the cutting instruments, so I assume that happens in the back. Finally, she skipped exfoliating my feet and did not put in the same effort that I saw my friend getting from her pedicurist.

Mary Biancalana Bella diva is a wonderful full service nail and hair salon. Everyone here was wonderful, professional, and friendly. I had a manicure and pedicure and Lilly was absolutely fantastic. My pedicure is gorgeous and she gave me the most wonderful massage for my feet and lower legs. The entire staff here were so friendly and I love that all of the staff look so professional in their matching salon jackets. I definitely will return and tell all my friends about Bella diva hair and nail salon!

Morgan Duckworth I usually enjoy only getting one color when I get my nails done. Even for events, I never go all out and do designs. For December I was feeling a little festive and decided to do a design. I always go to Noreen when I get my nails done. I proposed the idea of doing a nail design and showed Noreen some reference photos. She took all those ideas and put them into one design! I am extremely happy with how well they came out! She took her time and made corrections on my nails when necessary. She is meticulous when doing her customers nails and when doing designs. I have never done a design on my nails and the end result did not disappoint! I cannot stop looking at my nails and admiring them. The colors and designs came together so beautifully and I am excited to be able to show them off! I highly recommend Bella & Me Nails. Everyone is polite and nice. When I would walk in, I was greeted by employees with smiles. Every time I called to make an appointment, the phone was answered promptly. When there was a conflict with my appointment, I was immediately contacted to make arrangements to reschedule my appointment. When I would have my nail repaired, it was done so without question and with great service. The prices are fair and they offer promotional discounts multiple times in the year. To anyone reading reviews, I HIGHLY recommend this nail salon.

Tiffany Bott love coming to this nail salon! Booking appointments is always a breeze since they pick up the phone quickly, and I’ve never had to wait once I arrive. They’re super efficient, which is perfect for a lunch break visit from work. The pedicures are consistently amazing, with plenty of colors to choose from. Great service and quality every time!

DAELITE88 I would strongly advise against visiting this salon. The nail technician, Laura, was very unwelcoming and did a poor job on my nails. One hand was visibly shorter than the other, and when I asked her to fix it, she dismissively claimed they were the same length. I had to return three days later to have another employee, John, correct the uneven nails. Since then, the hand that originally appeared fine; nails have started to pop and slide off which split my natural nails in half. Its been less than two weeks, and if I need to get them redone, it would be a waste of over $70. I will never go back to this salon again.

Keysia Newson Omg love how my nails turned out first time at the salon and I got acrylic black tip short and she was amazing, took her time to make sure everything looked great the only thing I wanted to critique is the rewards program they took down my number but never texted for to sign up. I definitely will be back amazing customer service.

Traci Bullard I decided to treat myself today with a manicure and set of acrylic nails.. I had an older man as my nail tech and Im just not satisfied with how they turned out. My nails cost 55$ and I tipped him 10. The lighting is very dim in their and I wasnt able to see them clearly until I left. My nails are uneven and thick. He didnt paint them all the way to the cuticle, so it looks like I already need a fill in. Ill never go back and definitely wouldnt refer anyone else at this place. After looking over the other reviews, its clear to me that they dont care about their customers being satisfied with their services. The whole point is to make them appear natural and theres nothing about them that look natural. I should have bought press on nails and saved 65$. Definitely wont be going back, nor would I refer anyone else.

Mauricia Bates I keep giving this salon grace and I can’t any longer. I walked in and asked for a soak off for my gel polish and a polish change. The man continued to use the drill after I ask for a soak off & the color I asked for was not the color I received. The guy that assisted me did not seem knowledgeable, I had to tell him to file and shape my nails. And to get the color changed would be 10 extra dollars because he already applied the incorrect color.. needless to say, they have lost a regular client that had been coming for over 10 years .. do not go there if you like quality work and want a good stress free experience !

Leesa Askew Bellezza Nails is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, and they offer a wide range of nail colors and services. I had a tight schedule, and they honored my time limit without compromising quality. The salon is comfortable and clean. I get dipping done here, and the color selection is amazing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you receive. I highly recommend Bellezza Nails for anyone looking for a great nail experience!

KALI Monroe Im so impressed with this nail salon! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a spotless environment. The cleanliness of the salon really stood out to me. The lady who worked on my nails was an absolute sweetheart They were friendly, efficient, and did an amazing job on my nails. I was in a rush and they accommodated me with no issue. Trish Howard !!!!!!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!AWFUL JOB, JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give zero stars I would… this is the absolute WORST nail salon I’ve ever been to in Jacksonville.. First off the lady was rushing like she had a place to be… her work was SLOPPY and her work area wasn’t kept neat. She removed my acrylic nails with a metal spatula INSTEAD of taking her time to PROPERTY soak them off… when I expressed to her all my nails looked different, she then proceeded to raise her voice and hands saying “then what do you want.. tell me what you want” I told her she didn’t have to yell, How IM the one getting a service done so if I’m telling you I don’t like it why are you being disrespectful….she kept trying to yell at me saying “that’s your real nail so how can I fix your real nail” (keep in mind I have tips on my nails) so I told her I don’t want her service and she said I still had to pay…. I paid $45 and their machine was acting up and she had to restart the whole thing… also two people walked out the salon during my service….. !!!!!!!!IF IM PAYING YOU FOR A SERVICE THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE RESPECTFUL!!!!!!!

Tee Redd The worst nail experience ever. Not only was I harassed by the girl with the tattoo on her face, she called the police and made up a story of me not paying all while still being serviced by the owner who already discussed she was taking off money for the inconvenience. “Tat Girl” proceeded to tell me “if you don’t have the money then just say that.” With a lot of other provoking and belittling words. All because I told her my nails which would be pictured below was not u to par. Not too mention the First Lady who did the nail put on got up because I told her I didn’t want to pay for long nails so make them shorter. It was literally a mess. I had 3 technicians BECAUSE I spoke up, respectfully at that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They are problematic in their and would make it seem like you are.

Cynnez Young I appreciated walking in and someone was at the reception area waiting to greet and assist me. The inside was lovely and simple which I love. No appointment was required and I was serviced immediately (no wait). They used this cool machine to buff my feet which felt greet, I thought that was very unique and innovative as well as time saving for me and the technician. My technician was very invested into removing the dead skin around my cuticles and that is literally my favorite nail tech!!! I love seeing and peeling that away, it just makes the nail/feet look fresh and appealing! I wonder if they plan to update the outside area to make it more appealing. It may be different shifts but there were not a lot of technicians working on this Friday. I am curious about them offering drinks, since I had water with me they did not ask but I also did not see other patrons with a drink from the establishment. I worry that outsiders walking pass may not be drawn to come in as the outside has an outdated look. I think adding the extra service of offering a beverage or a warm aromatic shoulder pad would elevate the already wonderful service. Overall my nails look good for me getting regular polish and the state of my nail beds. I opted for regular polish since I just took off acrylic I knew gel/dip would just separate and crack. So the regular polish isnt as flat and clean but again she did a great job with how my nails are. Will be back for that gel service end of April before my trip! Thank you for your wonderful service

Rachel A I never post reviews but I had to for this place. I used to get my nails dipped when I lived in Louisiana 6 years ago. Just regular manicures since Ive been living in Jax. Decided to start having them dipped again. I decided to not focus on the bad reviews and try this place myself. What do I have to lose....if Im not happy I wont go back. I definitely will be going back. Tu did my nails and did a phenomenal job. I did not feel rushed at all and she really took the time to make them beautiful. Some nail places make you feel rushed but not here. Wanted them done for Easter with a special cross design representing Jesus. I showed her a photo of a cross with with the purple robe representing how pure Jesus is. Look at these photos. Im beyond happy and will be back in about a month to have them done for my big birthday :)

Laquidara Candice “Candi” Called and got an appointment in one hour. Very patient and stayed after closing to finish my nails. Polite. Love my nails, got exactly what I asked for. Plus we talked about cats and thats always a win for me. This is my second time here and I’ll probably become a regular once I have a steady income.

Jackie Fahey I was charged extra tonight for ballerina nails and once I argued these arent ballerina shaped I was credited and told next time Id have to pay for ballerina shape. Note this is not a ballerina shape. As a response to owner. That is not what I was told. I was told it is at the discretion of the technician on what shape they think it is which is why I wont be coming back.

Susan Maxime I go to Katherine aka Kat from Orlando. She is the best nail tech and creative stylist that I have been to in my 30 years of getting my nails done in NY, GA and Florida. They are better than what I ask for EVERY time! She got to know what I like, my style and even learned how to hand paint my favorite flowers and Buffalo Bills designs, Go Bills! I simple cannot thank her enough for being fun and creative and daring me to be creative too. By far she is the best.

Tana Wright Been coming to this place for over a year now. Best place in Jacksonville and I’ve been to quite a few joints! My girl Katheryn does all my nail designs and she KILLS it every time!! She’s the best nail tech I’ve found in Jacksonville. Period. Always have had a great experience here.

Kelsey Litchfield Probably one of the worst nail jobs I have had in a long while. My pedicure was fine, but I’ve had these acrylic nails for less than a week, and each and every single nail is already pulling up and catching my hair. I haven’t had time to stop and get an entirely new set; so I’ve been dealing with it. The line work for the French is mediocre at best, and each of the tips weren’t fully painted in. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a great inspection prior to me getting home and realizing they were all horrible. They are lumpy in several areas, and you can literally see my natural nail through the paint. I would not come back unless you’re only getting gel. This was WITH an appointment too, so they knew I was getting a full new set with French gel.

Shelby Huling *UPDATE: The manager called me and asked if I would be willing to let them fix my nails. I agreed and made an appointment with Trish. She did an excellent job. I would definitely come back to see her! Great customer service. Not the best, not the worst. I recently moved to this side of town and have been trying to find a new nail salon so I decided to try out Ooh La La. Everyone was very friendly and personable but the quality just wasn’t there. I requested a regular polish change on my toes and SNS change on my nails with chrome powder. My toes weren’t polished very well but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had so I didn’t really say anything. I did have to request that she reshape my nails a couple times as two of them were very clearly crooked. She did the almond shape ($6 up charge, which I’ve never seen before so that’s a con as well) like I asked but by the time they were cut down and filed so many times they were much shorter than I usually get/was expecting. The salon has dim lighting so I didn’t notice until I got home that a couple of my nails were lumpy (Was hard to get my camera to focus on my nail, but the lump is clearly visible in person). I may try them again one day if I don’t find another salon I commit to.

Dejaunni Edwards Dont want you to have an opinion about your nails. If they mess up and you correct them. They will ask you to leave and say "they dont want any trouble". Wasted my gas. Poor service. 0 stars. Poor service. Poor quality. Asked me to go somewhere else when I called prior to to make sure they had an opening. Wasted gas. They put what they want on your hands and to save money they say no other options even if it looks bad. Manager told nail tech to stop and ask me to leave because the nails being cut weren’t even. Asked a thousand if unnecessary personal questions but when I asked for a different nail because it had been cut too short I was asked to leave. And then they started talking about me in another language. Disrespectful.

Salimah Jackson They gave me exactly what I asked for and I also got a pedicure. The service was precise and didn’t take too long. All of the techs were friendly as well and not stand offish like in some nail salons. They were also funny lol they have complimentary drinks, including wine. Very classy and upscale environment. I will be back.

Jessica Devine This nail salon was the absolutely best! All the ladies there were beyond sweet and even offered us drinks! The girl who did my nails did an amazing job!!!!!! I love my new nails and can’t wait to come back!!!!!

Tiffany Cash We had a horrible experience. They messed up my friends toes and as the lady was doing them my friend kept telling them she wanted her big toe longer and wants is square and the lady didn’t do that at all and when my friend was tired of repeating herself she finally told the lady she didn’t like it and she had nothing to say she just looked at her crazy and they still charged her $65 and her toes are VERY uneven. Then , my nails had this weird color thing going on and it won’t go away and I had to file my toes and my nails because after repeating myself multiple times she ignored me and I payed $100. Horrible service and nails !!!!! VERY RUDE PEOPLE!! They started to ignore everything my friend said to them because she says she didn’t like her nails and they didn’t try to fix It to how she’d like it.

Mia Lock First time. They did a decent job but for $65… I don’t know. I was a bit grossed out because they had used an old file on me. Which is illegal because it can cause infections and diseases. When given a hand massage the nail techs hands were covered in acrylic dust and I was very grossed out and I would’ve passed on it and I had told her I had to get home and she still proceeds to put lotion on me. I probably won’t be coming back to this one.

Holly Brandvold Jasmine is amazing. My daughter had a vision for her christmas nails (we do our own nails so this is a big deal) and Jasmine made that vision a reality. This is definitely a hidden Gem in San Marco.

Kinzi Linzi The techs were really nice, but the quality of my pedicure and my friends pedicure was rushed. The polish wasn’t applied with much pride. There’s a lot of unpolished edges, there’s still old polish that was supposed to be removed. My friends polish smeared off despite us sitting under the fans for 30 minutes. Despite it being a very convenient location to my house, I will not be returning.

Alyssa Key Just had my nails done here for the first time. And it was, pun intended “hands-down”, the best experience I’ve ever had. The place itself is spotless, everyone there obviously loves working there, and the actually quality of my nails, and the suggestions given created a better experience than I’ve ever had at any other salon in my 44 years. She made a vision come to life and went above and beyond with making sure I was comfortable and happy through every step. Kim jumped in for my pedicure and was equal parts excited and supportive during the process, and Im so grateful for the both of them! Phoebe Shaffer I love my nails! I always have a great experience at Royal Essence at Tapestry Park. The services are phenomenal from head to toe. My pedicure was super relaxing as always. In addition to my pedicure, I wanted something festive for my manicure, so Anne hand painted Halloween designs on my nails. Anne and her team and their attention to detail and the client and their service always blow me away! If youre looking for a high quality nail salon with AMAZING staff, Royal Essence is the place.

Rikenya Myself, two daughters and niece tried this place for the first time and weren’t disappointed. They were able to take us as a group walk-in and were able to do our hands and feet at the same time (pedicure and full set) which is something I was looking for in an establishment as we had afternoon plans. The customer service was wonderful and we had a great experience. We love our nails and will be back!

Leona Jacob Absolutely my worst experience at a nail salon. I asked for my nails to be cut short and square, was told to go wash my hands. Made another comment, ignored again. Plus they came out terrible. I’m not confrontational so I just paid and left but wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be back. My nails are already peeling in less than 24 hours.

Lauren Schmal IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS I WOULD. I went in on Valentine’s Day to get a pedicure and POSSIBLY a full set. I was seated quickly (as they opened not even within an hour). As soon as I sat down the red flags started coming. First the guy showed me the pedicure services list and recommended the deluxe pedicure; I usually get the deluxe pedicure at my usual salon so I was ok with it…. He didn’t even take time on callus removal and buffing my feet to make them smooth. He then tried to do tip extensions on my toe nails. When I refused he then tried to convince me to do the acrylic overlay. When it refused and just said gel polish only he looked so upset he bs’d the rest of my pedicure because he knew he wasn’t going to get me to spend extra $$$ on things I didn’t want or need. ALSO he used tools out of a box!!!! Not even in the sanitized new tools in the medical grade packaging ALMOST ALL SALONS USE!!! When I said I possibly wanted a full set (this was before the tools issue) he tried 5 times to get me to do the ombré powder acrylic nails for a “natural” look. Once the tool shit happened I told him I had somewhere to be and I won’t be getting the full set he was defeated. He put SO MUCH oil on my legs and feet it RUINED my Birkenstock Boston clogs. I had to immediately scrub my body 3 times in the shower. I only used this salon out of convenience because my usual salon was booked up. It was a WASTE of $70. Praying I don’t get a fungal infection and explaining to my chain of command and PCM why I have this. Honestly might go to my usual salon ASAP to get this shit fixed.

Skylar Skinner I came in and asked if they were able to do designs and was told yes. I showed the design and was told they can do that exact design. The nail shape was wrong and when I asked if it could be changed I was told she could not change it. The design colors as well as the design was completely off and it was a simple design compared to the designs they have posted. The shop was about to close and it was late so I came back the next day they were open and explained to them what happened. The workers argued with me and tried to convince me they looked good and told me they could only fix the chipping although I payed $90. The customer service is unacceptable and prices is unreasonable since they cannot fulfill basic designs and overcharge. I would not recommend this place especially if you want any type of design.

Carol Anne Fendig I have now come to this place twice. They are without a doubt the best in Jacksonville. If you are so indecisive, like me, then they will show you what you really want. I always need a little help picking out my colors, and they nail it every time. I had the beautiful Consuelo do my nails. If you like Almond shape nails, then this is your girl. She can do sooo much. I give her a picture of the nails I want and she executes them perfectly. I also was paired with Nathalie for my toes. What I love about her is our conversations and amazing massages while I’m getting my feet done. She does a great job with anything you want for your toes. My favorite part about this place is the beautiful language that is spoken. I just love it. It is so unique to have a nail salon that speaks Spanish. The women are kind, beautiful and accommodating. The music in the building is fun and enjoyable as well. I would recommend them 10/10 every time.

Linda Noel Wonderful experience. I took a picture in of what I wanted done and Gigi exceeded my expectations! Paid more than I expected compared to other places I’ve been but the quality of what I received was worth it. Salon was clean and no tv! I appreciate the quiet environment with appropriate music level.

I had my pedicure with Leidy and she too was very attentive and my feet feel great. I absolutely love my nails and felt like I was pampered during my visit. Thank you both and I will be back!!

Emily Jensen Editing my review! My nails for a FILL were $90 before tip ( for the blue French ) I went back in to get them redone because the sugar sparkle was coming off. They were super nice and accommodating. I would probably come back for a head spa treatment- the prices are just extremely expensive. I paid $97 in total and I did get a 10% discount being my first time. The staff is super friendly and it’s super clean and nice I think it just is the price that’s too much.

Jaiya Miles PHENOMENAL experience!!! There’s no strong acrylic smell when walking into the salon, very welcoming. My family & I came to get our feet done and it was the best choice to come here. We had John, Minh, Mai, & Nam. They did a breakdown about any questions we had. The best part was the eye mask and massage. It felt like heaven. Definitely will be back. P.S they also have drinks to offer and have a wireless charger for your phone.

Stacy Crooks This is my new favorite place. It was relaxing; the pedi chairs have massage functions. I wasnt sure what I wanted when I went in, but the staff helped me pick services that were right for me. My tech was great, I will definitely be going back:)

Tonkatruck DillyNorman If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great clean new salon. Will be coming here from now on! Melissa did my nails and she was attentive and listened to what I wanted. After she was done and she went home ( it was after close ) I was waiting for my sister to finish we noticed the gold nail had a weird green tint to it. So Amanda who did my sisters nails filed it off and redid it with the regular gold and really made me feel like they cared about my nails looking good and that I liked them. Both artists are great!

Amanda Lyons The place was very nice and clean but the nail tech that I had kept cutting me with the drill thing. I had to tell her multiple times that she was cutting me. I get dip powder on my natural nails and while she was filing them she took a chuck out of the side of one of my nails and tried to fill it in with the powder so now that one nail is extra thick on that side. I also asked for a basic design. Just a heart in the middle of the nail and the tech tried but it did not turn out good.

Brittney Crane Awesome service! Everyone had a customer when I got there but it was no time before I was in the pedicure chair. I was out of there much sooner than I expected! Also waxing went well! I also enjoyed that they give 10% off for your bday! Ironically I was treating myself for my birthday! The entire staff were friendly and accommodating. I will be back!

Edna Phillips This was my first and unfortunately last time going. Unless I’ve been getting my nails done wrong all of these years. Why is it I just got my nails done and it looks like I need a fill in already and I know my nail beds are wide by just why does it look like I put these nails on myself. I paid $50 for this a complete waste.

Courtney Went here randomly after I had a car oil change nearby. I was attracted to the location because of all the positive reviews and pictures of the work on other reviews. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait time. The girl who did my nails (i think her name was Yani?) was very thorough and didnt rush. Id come back again when in the area. Reasonably priced for the work she did.

Liz B. I absolutely love going to Nail.com on Beach Blvd. My two favorite nail techs are My and Annie. They are beasts at 3D designs. And from what Ive seen, the other nails techs do good work as well. The price that Ive attached includes a pedicure as well.

Arianna Harris Pedicure was average. It took 1.5 hours to get a basic fullset with matte gel, he had to redo 2x while I was there. Finally said the gel set right. When I showered all the polish started to bubble and crack. I did go back the next day and was told I had to pick another color but still had issues with polish setting. I observed polish remover being added to some of the polish and assume that this maybe why. My nails look very nice now but the price of service upcharges and overall time spent I will not be returning.

Jacky Schultz Hanna is the absolute best! Every time I see her, she does such a great and thorough job. She has attention to detail and very professional. Shes so nice too, love going to her and always get compliments on my nails and toes. She is the best at pedicures I have ever had. She really does a thorough job and my feet feel amazing for weeks afterwards. Love Hanna and she is the only technician I will go to now!

Jessica Guanco Lisa was amazing! I came in as a new client without an appointment and they fit me in right away. I sat down with Lisa showed her my inspiration and she nailed it. I was so happy with my nails I immediately booked my full appointment and am so excited to see her this weekend. It has taken me a long while to find a nail tech who did my nails perfect but I did. I’m never switching now.

AL W Leah did great with my nails during my first visit and with my husbands foot spa on our next visit. The guys who work there are also great at their job. Seems like everyone who works in this nail salon takes pride in their work. No wonder this place is usually busy even in weekdays. I highly recommend this place for anyone getting their nails and eyebrow done.

Hannah Topor We are visiting Jax from Arkansas. I recently visited Ritzy for a pedicure and dip manicure, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel truly pampered. The salon was spotless and had a relaxing ambiance, which added to the overall experience. The pedicure was incredible – Leah took their time to ensure every detail was perfect, from the soothing foot massage to the precise polish application. My feet have never felt so rejuvenated! The dip manicure was equally impressive. Leah was meticulous, ensuring a flawless finish that looks natural and feels durable. The color selection was fantastic, and they helped me pick the perfect shade. I highly recommend Ritzy to anyone looking for top-notch service and exceptional quality. I will definitely be returning if we’re back in town.

Jovan Butler First time coming here and trying to find a permanent salon to get my nails done. It was crowded, but they took me in quickly! Very satisfied! Everyone was friendly, great atmosphere and comfortable.

LaToya Tyson This is my new go to nail salon. Everyone is amazingly nice and talented. Crystal is so amazing and extremely talented and is so nice and I discovered we both love shoes!! Crystal is so personable and when it comes to nail art she is the absolute best!!! Her level of customer service is so great. I really look forward to seeing her every 3 weeks. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails and people are really amazed by her art. I don’t wanna say work. Because she really does create art on your nails. Haley Shelar I chose trendy nails based on reviews and pictures, and I wish my experience would have related to those reviews! I came in 10 minutes after opening on a Friday, and I was the first customer in the store. I was immediately sat, and they asked me what I wanted. I told them a full set with gel polish and designs, and a pedicure. She asked if I had a picture of what I liked, and I showed her a few pictures of inspiration and told her exactly what I wanted on each nail. The language barrier was really difficult to get through and she completely misunderstood my design, which I did not realize until the end. I asked for light brown chrome, which is a huge trend currently, with monarch butterfly designs on my middle finger, and a French nail monarch design on my ring finger. I acknowledged that it was a bit difficult, and we could tweak it if needed. After getting through the conversation, I thought she understood exactly what I wanted. So she started on my nails. Another employee brought over a very dark brown, darker than I preferred. I asked if they had a lighter brown and she brought over two more dark browns, one that just had a little bit more of a red tone. I told her the original brown was fine, even though I saw a wall full of polishes at the back of the salon. Once my acrylic was applied, and my nails were filed down, but before the dark brown polish was put on, I asked my tech if I could go look at the wall of nail polish to make sure I didn’t like anything better. She asked another employee to bring over a ring of gel colors that were outdated. I knew they were outdated because the dark brown they brought me was not on the ring. At this point, I felt like they didn’t care to give me what I wanted so I told her the first dark brown was fine. She then did a French tip that was not the style that I asked for, and the monarch butterfly design didn’t show up because the dark brown and black basically blend together. I was so ready to get out of the salon because I was so upset, I skipped the pedicure. This is my first time since having my baby nine months ago I’ve come out to have my nails done, and I didn’t get anything close to what I wanted. I felt like nobody tried to , communicate with me. There was another employee who would have been able to communicate with me better at the back the salon doing her own nails, and FaceTime on the phone. They kept going back to her to ask her about the designs I was showing them. Had she taken the time to come up to me, the designs could’ve been properly communicated, and I bet they would’ve killed it! My nails didn’t turn out horrible. They’re not what I wanted. And they were messy. I had polish, glue, and acrylic all over my fingers that I was peeling off for an hour. I was extremely disappointed in my experience, I really wanted to love this salon, again, based on other raves and reviews. I will probably not return. I’ve included pictures of my inspiration and what I got…..light brown chrome on all nails. Monarch design on middle finger, French monarch design on ring finger. Spent $80 + $15 tip

Anna Bragg I did a walk-in today and left with the best nails I have ever had in my life! Susan listened to what I wanted and recommended a product I didn’t even know to ask for - builder gel. She removed my previous dip powder with precision and gave my nails a great shape. She was very attentive to detail and even fixed a nail that wasn’t to her standard. I picked a neutral polish I liked, and she mixed a custom color for me that I love! I was so impressed that I booked her again for a fill in already. I have found my nail lady! Thank you, Susan! Krista Hoff Today was my 1st visit to St. Johns Nail Spa. I was lucky to have Susan do a full set of tips with dip powder. Susan took her time to educate me on the different products & helped me make a selection that was right for the health of my nails. She was friendly, gentle (I normally dislike getting my nails done because past nail techs have been rough) & very talented. Ill be back again soon & will make sure to request Susan! The salon was also very clean and upscale.

Kate Phillips The women here are AMAZING. Super sweet and helpful when i had to bring my kids in and get my nails done. They helped my daughter go potty and played with my son. Love the staff! Nails not perfect, a lot of my previous color is still on my nails. Shaping is crooked and length not consistent. I wont come back to get my nails and toes done but would definitely come back for the hospitality!

Matea Cox The attention to detail Hanna (Hannah?) gave me was great! This was my first visit here, I moved to Jacksonville from Virginia and my aunt recommended this salon. I have NEVER had my acrylic set look so good, normally nail places never get my cuticles down well and get the acrylic down so I was beyond impressed at how much she cared about the work she was doing. Absolutely will return to see her again! UPDATE: It absolutely matters who you see at this salon!! One of them cut my cuticle in two spots causing bleeding so I haven’t sat with her again. As mentioned above, Hanna was busy when I went in on a Friday morning, so I sat with another person. This was the first time I’ve been back in a couple months since I had a baby. She did not do a very good job, once I left the salon I started noticing issues left and right. My acrylics are super thick, not cleaned up and I wish she grabbed someone more skilled in nail art than botching the snowflake. I will be going back tomorrow see if they will fix it and update on how that’s handled as I’ve never been unhappy enough to go back wanting to get them fixed before. Below are the awesome nails Hanna did and then the inspo pic I gave and my finished product nails for this updated portion of the review. UPDATE: I went in to get them fixed, ultimately just having them remove the set and get a new one on. It seemed I just paid for a new set, I’m not sure if the charged me for the removal of the first set or not.
