Samantha This place is amazing! I normally can’t keep nails on for more than a week, and I got my nails done on October 25, and they are still absolutely perfect today. They have grown out a bit, but they are not budging off of my fingers that is amazing.!!! The staff was very friendly. The place was very clean and I will be back for sure. Thank you! Please note, the photo included is my nails three weeks after getting them done so yes, there is growth…. But overall Amazing!!!

Jen My daughter got her nails done yesterday. Weve been going for many years off and on. And for the last year decided VO was our place. She called and made an appointment asking for acrylic overlay with nail art. The gentleman said yes. The gentleman that wears a hat (owner I think) did them. He put regular polish on her nails THEN put them under the UV light! She did not get gel!! Then he could not even do a star. She came got in the car and noticed how bad they were. They are really bad. Ive never seen anything like them. She paid full price AND tipped 18%. This is not ok. We reached out to them and NOTHING!! No response, no apology. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Jordan Keener Jenny always does an amazing job on my nails! I get fake nails with dip and they stay on for such a long time. VO is seriously an amazing nail salon. I highly recommend to anyone looking for consistently beautiful nails and so much more.

lariah Cecilia Recently I decided to start coming back to this nail salon, my first visit was amazing and my nails look great. My second visit, the service was awful. The man upfront had an attitude, while I looking at the colors he told me to come over and he’ll bring the colors to me. He grabbed two random books slammed them on the table, while the books were still sitting on the table I didn’t have a chance to move them he tugged on my hand and decided to begin. I asked for a chrome nail they told me it would be $62 and I told them “no I’ll just get the same thing I had before”. The man up front who did my nails kept pushing the chrome nails and was insisting he’d lower the price for only a few dollars. Once again I told him “no I just want the pink”. He cut my nails extremely short and didn’t ask what length I wanted them, he started applying white acrylic after I told him again that i wanted pink. He barely filed my nails, my nails were all different lengths and sizes and just overall sloppy. Once he “finished” he took out the chrome after I told him multiple times I wanted PINK, then he claimed that I told him that I wanted chrome. His partner next to him decided to jump in who also claimed that I told him I wanted chrome. Throughout the service he kept tugging on my hands and was tossing my hands around. Once he noticed they were super short he kept filing and at this point was honestly filing my skin. The following day I called and told them exactly happened, a lady answered the phone and as I was explaining she cut me off and said this “ you talking too much, just come in and we will redo.” I asked her if I had to pay again and said “duh we don’t do services for free”. I spent $50 for these chrome nails that I didn’t want and now they are wanting me to spend more money. Side note: this past year I went to nail school and although I am no professional I know the process of acrylic nails. This place looks nice but is extremely dirty. The drill bits are old and so are the files. Once he finished you are usually are suppose to wash your hands to remove any dust, instead he used a cold rag and wiped my nails off. He left my nails unfinished and did a terrible job at blending the nail in with my cuticle. I also should mention, that another lady was next to me getting her nails done and I complemented her nails. The man doing mine became extremely pushy and kept telling me to come back and get my nails done after his work was awful. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Franceen Gonzales Ive been coming to VO Nails for years and have always received great service. Recently I saw Ha and she did a great job. My gel did not chip or lift even after 3 weeks. Her massage during a pedicure was amazing Last time I saw Jenny and she paid attention to every detail often going back to make sure the finish was perfect. I had weeks of business trips and did hurricane cleanup working with my hands and my gel manicure still lasted a month! Yes it was grown out but never lifted. I like how they take care of the details and provide a service that exceeds the price.

Caitlin Goede I haven’t had a nail experience like this in a long time. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and were so wonderful. I brought my 5 year old daughter and they were amazing with her. I am thrilled to find finally find a nail place close to home that I trust and enjoy going to. I even brought her back for a chipped nail and they were again, so kind and patient with her. 10/10 recommend.

Sheryl Moran Holly was magnificent! She was so patient with me trying to find the colors I had set in my mind! My nails are beautiful and I’m ready for “Fall”! I will come back to Holly at Paris Nails in Largo from now on.

Julie Arthurs What a great nail salon. Had a wonderful experience. All the staff were very friendly. My pedicurist showed me several versions of my color choice and put each color on my toe nails to help me select a color. The extra attention and effort was helpful and most appreciated. Highly recommend this salon.

Abbey Duncan I asked for short nails and the first nail was cut past the nail bed. When I asked her to be careful and go less short she did, but still got to the nailbed on 2 other nails. Some of what you see is polish, most is blood. At the end when touching them up, she put remover directly to the nailbed instead of asking if id prefer to let the excess come off over time. I assume this is a one time thing and a worst case scenario- she clearly felt bad, but I am still bleeding and this is one of the sloppiest jobs I have ever received (nailbed aside- the finish is lumpy). Looking at other reviews, it seems like they do good work, but be careful with the word “short” because it doesnt mean what you think it does.

Alexis A Been coming to this salon on and off for a few years now. Yuna is my girl and she is freaking phenomenal when it comes to designs and she is super sweet! She takes the time to make sure everything looks how you want it to look. She always so nice to my 13 year old daughter who now wants Yunas designs all the time too! Will be coming back for sure, I mean just look at these halloween nails, how could I not!?

Kat Gui My sister and I got our nails and eyebrows done. I had gotten mine done by YuNa and my sister had gotten hers completed by Lena (I apologize if I misspelled or misunderstood your name!) I am from the Chicagoland area so I may not be able to come back often, but plan on it each time I visit my family here in Largo. Thanks so much you guys for getting exactly what we’d asked for!

Hensley Dina (Dhteachus) Admired Nails is a fantastic nail salon. They are open on Sundays which for me is perfect, and you can even book appointments online using Booksy. You feel at home here as the staff is friendly but also so talented! Yuna always does an amazing job on my nails, including designs. Lena is also a great technician and has done my pedicures recently. Discounts if you pay with cash! This is my go to place from now on.

Courtni Foster They do great! I’m not sure the woman’s name who does mine but she sits in the 3rd chair from the door. She does amazing work and have loved every set! Not very expensive and lasts me about 5-6 weeks.

Bianka Wodnicki I came here for the first time and I will be coming back. Staff is nice and personable. I have a hard time asking for adjustments with my nails, but they made it easy! Not only that, but their prices are amazing. I paid $35 bucks for a full acrylic set!

Christina Kemp We love this family owned shop! I am a Walk in, never have to make an appt (they do accept appts) and they get me in quick every time. I do the dip powder on nails and a pedi most times. Best prices around and bring cash and you’ll save $. Family is the sweetest!

Sabrina Nemec I’ve been coming here for about 10 years. Cindy and Kevin are great people that work very hard but things have changed since they merged business with Cindy’s brother and his wife. I like the way things were better before the merge. Yesterday a pregnant woman in a black and red flannel shirt did my fill-in and she was very rough with my hands and when I told her she was hurting me she blamed it on the position of my hand. She then manipulated my hand in the position she wanted it in and continued to hurt me. I told her again that she was hurting me and she responded with a rude attitude. I hate to go somewhere else because I’ve been going there so long but it may be time to move to a new nail salon. So bummed and hope they go back in business with themselves again one day.

Morgan Ling After getting a terrible full set (french) from another salon, I walked in & was assured they would help me. I waited maybe 30 minutes on a busy Saturday & then had my acrylic fill done in 20 minutes! Looking so good! Wonderful staff & service, 11/10.

Cintbay I have been there twice for a pedicure. The first time was great the second time not great. I had Tommy. He massaged my legs and all it did was burn. I wasnt aware that I had an ingrown toenail, he was digging it out before he even told me. I told him I wanted my nails short, I came home there was a lot still that could have been taken off. I will go elsewhere

Lori Pfender I’m very disappointed in Julie’s. I’ve been going there on and off for years and my last experience was not good. I asked the technician not to cut the sides of my nails and she kept arguing with me that it’s better. It doesn’t matter I asked you not to! The color I picked was so old she kept putting thinner in like 3 times but it still was going on like mud. She say she would do them again but I don’t have time for that it was almost 6:30. I don’t think I will be going there anymore. Sorry Julie

MM Thalyna has been my nail stylist for more than 5 years. The new salon is beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my visit today. My feet and legs feel great!!!

Being fairly new to the area, I was delighted to find a spa that is not only clean and well-maintained but also incredibly inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. I decided to try the "Jelly Pedicure" with CBD, and it did not disappoint. This was my first time seeing this option available at a nail salon, and it was such a unique and relaxing experience. Anne Anderson This place is a cut above the rest!. New nail and more salon. Beautiful and serene environment and professional kind people who give it their all to give a first class service. I followed Lucas from another salon when he and his wife open their own place last spring. I’ve always been extremely pleased with the care and quality of his work and I’m so happy they have struck out on their own. I’ve never been disappointed and I highly recommend Thalyna Beauty.

Familia Immortal I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, from the camaraderie, the clean and nicely decorated space, the detailed nail work (and eyebrows!), and the expertise of my nail tech; I had one of the best experiences at a nail salon ever. The price point is higher but the quality of work and overall atmosphere are worth it. I look forward to my next appointment!

moriah vega I went in to have my gel removed, but it’s still on my nails after paying $30. While I appreciate that they took me in last minute, I was hoping for better results. I would have liked the gel to be properly removed.

Nierop Samantha (CrokodileGirl) I see Gabby, however, Ive seen all the ladies work first hand. They do an exceptional job. Im 53 and Ive been doing my nails since I was 18. This is the first place that has ever genuinely care about the health and integrity of my nails. For the first the ever they are long and strong! Not to mention beautiful. They are all true artist. I highly, highly recommend. I included pictures of what my nails looked like the first time I went and what they look like today. Those are NOT tips. They are my own nails. Strong and long!

Alysha Kubsh This is the holy grail of manicures. They specialize in russian manicures with Nail Art. I’ve been seeing Sylvia here for a few months now and she always exceeds my expectations. I showed my girlfriends my manicure that had grown out for 2 weeks and they all thought I’d just had them freshly done! Their manicures last 4 weeks without chipping or peeling (I get the GelX Luminary overlay). Attaching photos to this review because Sylvia’s art and attention to detail is so impressive.

Tami Allen Molika is awesome!! She does such great work and always can deliver what I ask for. I do like to keep it simple, but she can do a lot more. The prices here are also more reasonable than other places I’ve been to as well. I highly recommend making an appointment with her!

Kate White At queen nails I have found a place that goes back to the basics of pedicures. It has been a long time since I have been satisfied with a pedi. I can not get my nails done due to my line of work, so pedicures are all I have. I appreciate Kim’s attention to detail and ability to shape my nails how I like them. She is able to work with my requests and do so in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Ravae Quonce Sherri is my FAVORITE!!! Her talent is only second to her personality! And it’s more than your average nail salon experience. She is AMAZINGLY talented and has done the most basic of colors that I’ve wanted to the most extensive designs and I’ve loved them all!!! I highly recommend! You will NOT regret trying someone new!

Angela Bassett I use to do nails for 15 years, so I know a good nail tech. I have been going to Sheri for years. She seals them nice and tight and shapes them perfectly and finishes them off with a beautiful paint and nail art. I would highly recommend Shari and Salon Lux for a manicure, pedicure, full set or fill, you will not be disappointing.

He even corrected a nail that I pointed out I didnt like! The salon is clean, my nails came out perfect and they are very reasonably priced.

Heather S Absolutely love the people and quality of service here! The brighter pink ones were gel (1st time there) and the peachish-pink ones are gel dip (current nails). The gel lasted me WAY longer than the ones I had gotten done previously elsewhere (just moved here). Im sure these gel dips will last just as well. Friendly staff, Beautiful nails!

Caitie Rose I had been going here for about a 10 months and about 8 months ago one of the men working here cut part of my actual mail out and left my nail bed exposed and then put acrylic over it. Two months later and I have a bacterial infection under my nail that sent me to the ER. I wound never EVER recommend this place to anyone after what I’ve been through. I wish I could insert a picture of how bad it is but please trust me when I say that it’s been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. (Update: figured out how to add photos)

America Gallardo Worst place I’ve ever been too, products they use are cheap. My nails started to crack and break a day right after. Never had this experience with other nail tech, they’re prices are so high because because they don’t have any clientele so they’ll take advantage.. Think before coming to them, you’ll regret it. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Lizz Alkula Nice place. Good prices. The owners (mom and daughter(s?)) are very nice and willing to work with and help you. Have never had an issue with anything here. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. There is no overwhelming "nail polish" scent in the salon. Feels open and airy. I have had them use my own polish(es) from home, as well as doing different colors and even asked if something a little special (had four different polishes - two colors two glitter - had one color for toes added glitter on top. And for nails used the other color and she was happy to add the glitter the way I requested *pictured*) was okay this last time. Everything was perfectly fine with them. Always thrilled.

Lindsay McWilliams This is my second time coming to this salon and I’ve been impressed both times. I have worked with Kim and she’s super sweet. She takes her time.She makes sure I like the shape, color and length constantly which I appreciate. She even fills all my requests like making sure the color is thick enough so I don’t see my nail underneath. The salon has a nice quiet vibe which I really like. I’d highly recommend this nail salon. They’re very nice and fun !

Jay Weaver My wife wanted a pedicure before our cruise and we just happened upon this place while looking for another place. We walked in just before 10am. And they were not busy. But by 10:20 there was a 20 minute wait. She said this was the best pedicure she has ever had, Kelly was the technician. She said the price was great. They gave her fast service and the massage chairs were excellent. I counted 11 technicians working on people.

Tina I have been coming here every 3 weeks for a couple years now. They are great! If you want to sit and have a conversation with them they will or you can just chill and people watch. I use to come in and just take whoever was available at the time, but the service does vary from person to person. I now always call in and make an appointment. Ive had different people do my eyebrows but Michelle is the best, doesnt hurt at all! If you get a pedicure, definitely get #2 the $25 one. You get additional scrubs and the hot stone massage is amazing. Ive almost fallen asleep a couple of times. And throughout my time coming here, Ive seen many improvements. Also if you get your nails done and they chip within 2 weeks they will repair it for free.

Gabby D This is my go-to place to get my nails done. I always get dip nails with a chrome finish and love it every time and when I get a pedicure I get gel because it lasts a while. This is my favorite nail place in Largo.

lex If you’re looking for a choppy line and little design experience, this place is for you! The hearts were barely visible, lines sloppy, and hair was in the nails. We had to return to have the bigger hair pieces removed but there are still fragments. Save your money and find a nail tech who will take the time to care.

Lis C Today was the first time getting my nails done there. I appreciate the nail techs patience and being nice because I have issues relaxing my hands as I have general anxiety. She did do a good job on my nails too. However I do want to say; I could tell they were shocked by my choice of how I wanted my nails. I asked for two short nails and the rest long. I appreciate that they didnt try to change my mind. I just wish the techs that were watching would have asked why I got my nails the way I did instead of talking about them and staring. I wouldnt have been offended. To add- Its not that they were all talking to each other. I was taken care of and it wasnt busy. I love when co workers get along enough to where they can have a good time at work. (I have seen the low reviews a little late but I will keep them in mind if I return after seeing how this set goes.)

Joe Nadock I had a pedicure scheduled 2/1 with Stephanie, she called in sick. They didnt tell me this until I walked in the door. They asked if I would like someone else, Im going on a cruise tomorrow, so yes. The tech that did my pedicure was awfull! She thought she was digging for gold. My toes actually hurt after she finished. She put 100% hot water on my foot as I nearly jumped out of the chair. As I watched her working on my foot she was looking around the shop as she scraping my cuticles. Also my nails are jagged, she never filed them.

B S Edit: Took 1 star off because the last 3 visits Ive had, Ive specifically asked to have my cuticles pushed back and cut with cuticle clippers. The tech agreed when asked, but did not push the cuticle back at all and trimmed it by using a the drill on top of my cuticles which is not effective or comfortable. When the cuticle isnt pushed back it leaves a very crooked and uneven look at the base of the nail. This is disappointing as my cuticles grow abundantly and irritate me greatly. I dont think I should feel like I have to cut my own cuticles the same day I leave the salon when I pay a good amount for my services. This has become my families new favorite salon. Ive been coming here for almost a year and brought my mother and teenage daughter a few times as well. Ive never had to wait past my appointment time and am always welcomed as a walk-in. Weve had a few different technicians and the best is definitely Kong. He is very honest and communicative during the whole process. If he cant match my inspo pic or polish color exactly, hell talk with me about how to get something similar and go over different options. I almost always end up liking his ideas more than the original. My husband is usually with me also and they are very kind and welcoming to him as well.

Melly P. My sister recommended me this place after getting her nails done here- I loved the way they came out so I decided to give it a try. I’m not one to get my nails done so I’m not really familiar with all the different styles and shape and whatnot- I made this known to my nail tech from the very beginning hoping that they’d sort of guide me.. however, I think there was a bit of miscommunication here. Mai did a pedicure and manicure, as well as gel extensions. She was amazing with the pedicure- great with the massage as well as the application of gel on my toe nails! However, the manicure, not so much. I requested my nails be not too thick and long, but she kept insisting that the length was okay and reassured me that she would file and shape them. She said that my choice of color would not look good and insisted on using one of her choosing. She kept going and assured me that it would look good at the end. Almost time for my top coat and the manager informed her that she had another client- she began rushing and eventually gave the job off to another tech who just dabbed two coats of clear gel and sent me on my way… no cleaning up of my cuticles from left over gel, no cuticle oil, didn’t even ask if the nails were okay. She walked me to the register and me- being riddled with social anxiety- didn’t have the nerve to speak up. I paid and left- as soon as I stepped foot into the daylight, I looked down and realized just how much I hated the nails. I drove home and I was devastated, I truly hated the way they looked and I felt so disappointed that I didn’t speak up. I called my sister and she was also upset (since she recommended the place) so she called them and asked if it was possible to go in for a redo. Thankfully, the manager said to come in and he’d take a look at it. When I returned, he placed me with a new nail tech Stephanie. She was amazing !!! Took the time to ask what it was that I was looking for, and even offered her own recommendations (but didn’t force them on me). She took her time to correct all the things I hated with my nails and in the end, I left a happy customer. I was extremely pleased with how gentle Stephanie was, and I will most definitely be returning as her customer. Overall, I’m pleased with how the manager worked with me to correct what I was unhappy about. TLDR; I loved my pedicure and hated my manicure (with gel x)- called and manager said they’ll redo free of charge. I left the second time loving the way both my hands and feet looked.

Brit Perry Absolutely beautiful nail salon with great vibes. Some of the best customer service Ive ever received! Seriously great staff, great management, great pedicures. They also specialize in builder gel, but make sure to set an appointment with the right tech! Love this place! :)

Emerald Gilbert My mother booked a party here for everyone to get pedicures and nails. I could tell it was a little overwhelming because they removed me from my pedicure chair while I was already in water, to start on my nails instead of keeping me with the party. Well while everyone else in the party was being served, I was sitting in a nail chair- waiting, like I wasn’t even a part of the party. He comes back and apologizes and brings me a champagne flute. It was fine because like I stated, I’m not bougie…until my nails were crooked and all different shapes. I pointed out my concern, he said it’s just a rough shape and would get better…it didn’t: and he attempted to fix it.. it wasn’t fixing. He offered to mix more acrylic to even my nail out, at which point I told him don’t worry about it, just file it to a different shape and make it look intentionally done to be different.. he did. So now I have a square nail a round nail and a coffin style nail… anyway I would have never posted a bad review until I saw that he CHARGED me 5$ to change the shape of the nail- when it had to be changed to fix HIS mistake. I would have left one star but the girl that did my pedicure was amazing and my toes look great. So she by herself deserves 5 stars. I think her name was Cindy. Overall my nails do not look great at all. My toes look phenomenal. Maybe a great place for a pedicure but not a full set. Photos taken right after leaving the salon same day.

Kirsten Brauser After trying multiple nail salons in the area, I found sunshine nails to be the BEST. Wonderful and creative staff, great environment, and my nails look so beautiful and last even longer! They even did my nails for my wedding and I got so many great compliments! Amanda Blalock Hands down, the best pedicure in Pinellas County. They are always able to squeeze me in, even with no appointment. These guys always do a bang up job on my nails, and the customer service is out of this world! They helped me celebrate my moms birthday, and even gifted me some unique tea for Christmas. If youre looking for a new nail place, I *promise* the staff here does NOT disappoint!

Kaliann Terry I love this nail place, the owners are very nice and family-driven. They always set aside time for me to choose my colors and what I would like to do with my nails, I dont feel rushed and they are patient. I am happy when I leave the shop, this last particular manicure was impressive with the cat eye and the prices are great as well. Thank you Annie and family!

Christian Manning I usually see Annie who it’s great and always gives me and my daughter everything we ask for. Everyone there is great though, so polite and welcoming. I have always left with a smile and beautiful nails. I have tried many nail salons and Sunshine nails has by far been the best.

Soshia Hayes I went here to get pedicure and a full set, everything looked great. Nails held up to my work. Went back to get a full two weeks later and the lady and guy switched places back and forth doing my fill. It was $45 for only pink fill (no white) which I think is kind of high. The guy painted one coat of clear coat and didn’t touch the ends of the nails. It seemed he was rushed to get back to his video game on the computer. I asked him to apply clear coat to the ends of the tips, he did so. Three days later, the coating started coming off. It has not even been two weeks and they look horrible! I don’t believe I will be returning here. Such a shame.

Cindy 10.22.2024: I started noticing my nails were lifting which is not good anytime but worse when you live in FL., because of the potential to get mold. When I said something to Angel, she told me not to worry, she would fix. It remained a problem until August 2024 when I showed up the doors were locked. I have checked back several times but the store remains closed and I have found an amazing new salon. What a wonderful place to get my nails done. Angel did an amazing job cleaning up my nails done at a different salon and Kim did the best pedicure I have had since moving to Florida 12 years ago. Highly recommended! I have found a great salon with wonderful people.

Ellie Shannon Was a walk-in today and got a pedicure and full set! Lisa did my pedicure, she was very nice and did a great job! David did my full set and this was also amazing! I asked for a certain design and he went above and beyond. Definitely get your nails done here.

The owners are super conscientious of their customers time. They do not overbook and are always very friendly. Atmosphere is relaxing and very positive. Best nail salon i’ve had in a decade!
