Brandi Lane I completed the night Nail specialist program That was 16 weeks long!!! I absolutely LOVED my experience here! Mrs. Hope was my instructor, very informative and does not gait keep on information. She helped us so much all the way through the program. She will sit with you one on one and walk you through forming your nails with a nail form. Mrs. Melissa is the best! Very understanding and wants everyone to succeed as a Nail Tech!!!! She gives you all the tools you need to succeed in this industry!!! 10 out of 10 will recommend this school to anyone that’s trying to do things the right way as a Licensed Nail Tech!!!!

Erika Battisti I have been going to Polished for about little over a year and my nail tech Nickola is amazing! I started going to Polished right around the time Nickola started working. Through this year I have seen Nickola grow into a stellar nail tech. Nickola is a hard working and truly has a passion for honing into her skill of being a nail tech. She truly put in 110% of effort and time into her work making sure the customer is happy. Nickola is also very personable and wants to connect with her customer she has been such a great person to talk to during your appointment. Her number one priority is making sure you are happy with her service. Nickola is also accommodating, I am recently a new mom and Nickola is always willing to work with my schedule. She goes above and beyond making herself available on her off days or staying later at the salon. She is amazing!! I love having Nickola as my nail tech!

S. Hess I heard about this salon and their 20 day guarantee through a colleague. I never had any luck with gel polish at other salons. It would always chip& crack within a few days. I booked an appointment last fall with Julie and told her I typically only have my nails done throughout the holiday season. I said do not to expect me in the new year. Lol Well, to my surprise the gel polish lasts well beyond 20 days! I usually book an appointment every 3-4 weeks!! Needless, to say Ive been one of her regular clients for the past year! Highly recommend!

Meg-Riley Swain Polished academy, is a great school. I just recently graduated from here and i have nothing but positive things to say. It was a great experience, start to finish. Very clean and professional. Lots of education in a short period of time. Melissa and Hope are wonderful ladies, willing to answer any questions and they are very helpful. If you live in Ocala or any of the surrounding areas I would definitely recommend this school to get your nail technician license.

Allana Rubalcada Literally the worst!!! she rushed my nails leaving me with THICK acrylic, used a DRILL directly on my cuticles which u can only imagine, hurt, lumpy polish, there was hair in my polish she refused to fix it for me, she put my design on the wrong finger and waited until after it was dry to say something, she took a picture of my design looked at it once before starting and from there pretty much just freestyles where to put my jewels and my designs, polish wasn’t even on the entire nail and when i asked her to fix it she said “it won’t dry if it’s on the side” and chuckled as if it was so crazy i wanted my WHOLE nail painted, literally three days later the acrylic started lifting at my cuticle leaving my whole set looking like press ons, because of my acrylic being SO thick it got stuck on a door and ripped my entire left pinky nail off (including my real nail) and now i’ve had this set for 2 weeks and my right pinky nail the acrylic is begin to fall of… And to top it all off it was the OWNER who did this to my nails. HIGHLY do not recommend save ur nails the trouble!!

C C This place deserves zero stars. I was charged $40 for a fill in when the price chart states $15 & up but no one expects to pay more for a fill in than they paid for a full set. They changed the shape of my coffin nails and I got the cat eye polish which looks like regular polish they claim to have put gel on my nails but I had to return 2 days later bc it was chipped. Now not even a week later 2 nails have popped off like press ons. Bryan who did them seemed ok however doesnt speak English so the translator and owner of the the salon steps in and has a terrible attitude and started speaking in another language so who knows what she said about me. Never will I return or recommend this salon. Picture is 5 days later.

Rosa Quiaro I used to go before and my opinion was good for this business, today I went again and asked for a pedicure, the service was very fast, about 10 minutes and my toes practically cut my nails and painted them, I am disappointed and I felt like I threw away $35, Im never going back

Eternally Risen Mikey is a top tier vet is nail art design; I am very pleased and impressed by his talent. The atmosphere of V Nails is exceptionally welcoming and professional. The staff are all amicable with pleasant attitudes; I would highly recommend this nail salon. It is indeed the best when it comes to nail shops in the Ocala area. V Nails is new and clean, definitely worth an experience if you are looking to refresh your nails if you’re in the Ocala area!

Diana Zamudio Tim does a wonderful job nails and pedicures. Massage is a little rough but I love it!! Tina always makes my eyebrows the perfect shaped! Used to thread because I couldn’t find anyone to wax properly but Tina is the best!! Super friendly they always get me a drink and treat my daughter w so much love!! It’s hard to get your nails done w a 5 year old but they make it possible!!

Kelsey Peardon I have been going here for years and they always do a great job. I just had my appointment today and he had me in and out within 30 minutes. He did a full set of French Tips and I had my toes done in a white gel polish. The price is always affordable as well.

Aamya Thomas I visited this place this afternoon around 2pm I was headed out of town for a vacation and didn’t have much time so I requested French tips and white toes it was a very rushed job the guy half painted my hands and he gave me a pedicure and immediately chucked my crocs onto my feet so I never looked at my feet maybe it’s my fault for not double checking both feet but I drove straight to my destination and begin my vacation excursion only to see that three of toes were left unpainted once I was in the shower not even trimmed or shaped when I’m back in town I pray they give me a refund because this is ridiculous.

Allison Galarneau If I could put no stars then I definitely would have. My grandma and I went in for a pedi/mani. At first we got our pedicures done then I was asked t9 go to the table to do meaning. Well the guys starts then all the sudden stops and tells me I have to pay first. This isnt the 1st time Ive been here and the 1st time I did go there, I was not asked to pay first. No one else had to pay before. They tried to say it was so I dont mess up my regular nail polish, not gel. Honestly I do feel some type of way .

Liz-Beth Chiavetta Was here for so long because they didn’t have the color I asked for even though they said they did when I called beforehand. They kept trying to find something similar but I wasn’t liking any of them. They then somehow got the color I wanted. I was getting acrylics and they had tested so many colors on my pinky nail so he decided to redo and just ripped the nail off. Not only did it hurt but now that they’re off a few weeks later half of my pinky nail is white and it’s the only one so I have a feeling that’s why. On top of all of that I still left a pretty good tip and I did that by just checking the amount that was suggested. So I know there was no way it was a mistake because it was clearly written there and checked. I then look at my bank acct a few days later and they overcharged me by 10 cents… yes I know it’s just 10 cents but it’s the principle after already having a bad experience and still tipping good. I have a feeling I’m not the only one they’ve done this to. Just not a good experience

Heather Hodge Went with 5 total people, 2 adults & 3 kids for pedicures and the experience was the best we’ve ever had! Vincent & his team were so friendly, did an amazing job and worked so well together. They seemed like a family. It was such a nice environment for our group, ages 45 down to 6. We will definitely go back and highly recommend!

Kelly French They did a fantastic job on my daughters nails! It was her first time getting her nails done and they were very patient with her. Salon is very clean, and has friendly staff, they were a little busy at the end of her set but they did not seem to be in a rush to get anyone just in and out which is nice.

DAC Dropped in for a pedicure. Tony did a great job. So relaxing and my toes look great! The salon was very clean. Definitely go back.

Meek I will never ever go back to this nail salon! Only reason I went is because I needed a fill bad and Jay nails was closed for remodeling. They screwed up my nail shape couldnt do a simple design. On top of that, they messed my daughters nails up as well to the point they didnt want to go to school. Not even two days later one of their nails broke! They had Polish all over their skin and wasnt going to clean it off until I said something about it! My 6 year old son could have gone a better job. Do not waste your money with this place

C C Went and got a full set of lashes on Tuesday and was charged $2 more than the advertised price which was fine bc I was going to tip anyway however by the end of the day half of it was hanging. Went back Wednesday and Amy just put glue on it as if it was a strip and the next day the other half came off so today(Friday) I went in & asked to have it replaced not glued back on and was charged $10 more dollars so $30 for 3 days is not acceptable when youre 1 of the few that still support the business. I hope they understand this is why their business has gone tremendously down.

Joy Moments I was looking for a pedicure that would be relaxing and take some much needed stress off my feet. The Jelly pedicure is soooooo much fun & makes your feet super soft. They did a fabulous job delivering exceptional service! What a nice atmosphere (no kids no offense)… it was tranquil & exactly what I needed. Thank you sooooo much. I used to come here years ago & it’s my new-old favorite spot again. Make sure to go see them!

I’ve been going here for full sets, fills and pedis for years and didn’t think I could be more pleased however, since being under new ownership the entire vibe has become more positive and the remodeling taking please is stunning! I was hesitant to write a review because I would love to keep this beautiful secret. Yet, I cannot help but to share my excitement for the changes being made and support such hardworking artist. Edit: Still getting top notch service consistently. Todd and his crew take pride in creating a classy environment. Loving the addition of the new chandeliers!

Michelle Do not waste your money. Before I sat comfortably I needed a pillow for my back. 3 workers sat across from me chatting. They didnt see that I was on the edge of my seat not in the tub. Finally another came and brought a pillow after I asked. I should have left then. The person giving me the pedicure was in training. He started the massage before he finished with the pedicure. I told him to stop. The other person came and explained that he will finish after the massage. I told her I needed help with an ingrown toe. We argued. She came and tried to work on it like it was a bother. She charged me more for her time. $36 instead of $33. I had to go to another salon to get my toe professionally treated.

Shelby Gonzalez I usually don’t like to complain, but I went and got a pedicure. I was originally supposed to get a full set and pedicure. I left after the pedicure. The young lady who did my pedicure cut my toes with the drill three times, I told her I didn’t want my toenails cut with a toenail clipper, just filed. She filed my right, then cut my left. I did french on my toes and every toe was different, some looked square and some rounded. She never took the time to rub my feet or legs, probably spent 30 seconds on each. I don’t mind paying ANY price, but there was zero quality in the work that was done. I left extremely upset, and will not be returning.

They were talking negatively about me in Spanish, assuming I wouldn’t understand because I’m Black. Spanish isn’t a difficult language to understand, and I caught every word. I chose not to confront them at the time, but I won’t be returning. I’ll also be sharing my experience through reviews and ensuring neither I, my family, nor my friends—about 20 people in total—patronize this place again. And, to be honest, the lady was not a good tech. She cut me twice while trying to cut my cuticles.

Fluffy Panda I spent $105 for my nail design and a fill YESTERDAY! Why is my nail design already fading after a day?? Very disappointed.

They are closed Sundays, just FYI. I’ve went to other places while in a pinch and came home so disappointed. Nothing compares to magic nails!

Jamiliah Braithwaite I got my nails done here on Saturday, 2 days ago, and I will never come back to this shop again. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and it was not what I expected. First off, after soaking my feet and chipping my toes, the nail tech proceeded to paint my toe nails first before actually cleaning my feet. Now I’m no expert but I have never had that done in that order in over 20 years. Then she did my gel manicure and after only 2 days it’s peeling. Like really!!! Lastly, I got my eyebrows and lip waxed, which at this point I should have stopped any services with her, and it was a total waste of money. My eyebrows were not ached correctly and she didn’t even wax in between my eyebrows like everyone else before her has done. Now to put the cherry on top, she kept asking if I wanted my chin waxed and after several no’s I asked her why do you keep asking me that when there’s no hair there. She rubbed her hands across my chin so she knew that already. All of this cost $170 which was by no means worth it. It’s a shame to because I’m trying to find my permanent nail shop and this one is not it!!!

Buy, Love, Live Knoxville My first time visiting the establishment was a positive one. Warm and welcoming when I first arrived, the suggestion from my technician was nicely executed and looked great for the vibe I was going for. I would highly recommend checking out this nail salon. Thank you.

Lisa Lazaro I needed to find a good nail professional closer to home since Ive been driving way across town & the trip got to be too long lately. So I gave this place a try as I love just across 200 from the salon. No appointment, greeted with a smile, taken right in as a walk-in & had Jessica. What a wonderful experience!! She listened to how I wanted my nails, cleaned them up so nicely & shaped them beautifully!! I just love them!! Trimmed my cuticles too! My new salon & Jessica - Ill be their new regular customer!!

Aaliyah Real shady nail techs. i don’t usually leave reviews but my acrylics are already peeling and bending. I had came in for a fill in about a week ago along with a friend, and I was seated with a woman who was using hard grit on the electric nail file to get rid of my previous polish, she did not take her time and pressed hard enough for the nail bit to hurt my natural nails and every time I flinched I guess that was an inconvenience to her because she’d stop and look at me with disdain. this happened about three times and the third time she stopped completely and just stared me down and chatted something to the lady next to her. I asked her if she had a problem with me getting hurt over her vigorous nail filing and she just called another person to do my nails instead. The next guy who started on my nails after put a weak structure of acrylic on the part of my nail that grew out and in less than a week to no ones surprise its already breaking and bending. If you look at the pictures you can see from the side the uneven structure under the gel polish from my old acrylic set and this current one. Not to mention the fluctuating prices for services depending on who I ask. their menu states acrylics as “$55+” so they can up charge you for absolutely nothing. I got charged additional for “long length” but when i asked to cut it down i was told that’d be an additional charge as well. the first time I came here I was charged an additional 20$ for a design my friend and I BOTH did, hers a bit more intricate than mine. Long story short this was a complete waste of money and some of the nail techs need a touch up on their licenses because that is by no way how you treat a new AND returning customer.

Katie McCrink Was able to get a last minute appointment within 30 min of arrival for a gel mani with chrome. Service was quick and they have a large variety of color options! Lots of cat eye options that I noticed - will have to try that out next time. Salon was also very clean and had a relaxing environment. Mani came out great.

Fern Miller Tina was my nail technician and she was fabulous. I had a pedicure and manicure. I can’t say enough great things. It was very relaxing and I wasn’t rushed. Highly recommend.

Ashley Marie Went here for my birthday last week while my husband was getting a haircut down the street and I didn’t have time to go to my usual salon. I walked in and there was not a customer in site and the lady attended me right away. She had cut me twice on my cuticles and I kept telling her something but she wouldn’t say anything just completely ignored me. It took her over 45 mins just to apply the dip in powder application. Then she tells me to wash my hands and once I finish, another worker comes from the back randomly and then he finishes my nails and takes an additional 45 mins just to green French tips. I’ve never spent close to two hours in a nail salon just a small job. I have product on top of my cuticles and under my nails. Gentleman that finished my nails added like one layer of gel and that was it. Never applied oils on my cuticles nor lotion once everything was finished. Before I walked out, I had to grab some lotion on my own because my hands and nails were disgustingly dry. Any other Nails came out okay but I won’t be coming back here.

jaya mavani Very poor experience , the lady was nice and polite but the kind of job they did for the money they charge is totally not worth it. I got Gel manicure and Pedicure and my nail paint chipped in less than 24 hours . I am going on vacation out of town for a while and can’t even go to show them . When she was doing the nails for my hand, I could tell it’s not perfect and I have had better experiences in past . I would not recommend this place inspite of the fact that they take walk ins and are nice and clean . I wish I dint have to give even one star. I have had gel manicure several times for cheaper or similar prices but never had my nail paint chipped very next day .

Suzette Clarke My stiletto nails starting breaking after 3 days. I went in for the first broken nail repair and Tracy was rude. She applied regular nail polish and error and was telling me that she changed it and she was putting the gel polish on. I asked her to repair it self, because my it was noisy , she got mad turn around, took the piece of tissue out of the garbage and slammed it on table said see a change it already. The application was weak and thin so that’s why they kept breaking. No Apex. I’ll just stick to do my own nails. Im not spending my money in this establishment again.
