Loretta Lake I went into Sacred Heart ER department. I was impressed with how clean friendly and efficient this department is. I was quickly and politely taken care of, prescribed what I needed and sent on my way within one hour and a half. The admitting staff to the RN and Practitioner were extremely thorough, professional and comforting! 5 stars for sure!

Philip Hubbard I had a fall while vacationing at Cape San Blas, and hit the back of my head. I experienced mild concussion symptoms and decided to get checked out at Ascension Sacred Heart Emergency Care facility in Port St. Joe. This was by far the best care and treatment I have ever received at any emergency facility. I was triaged promptly, and then evaluated, examined and treated within an hour. They performed CT imaging of my head and neck, and had the results (which were normal) in 15 minutes! Every member of the admin and medical staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The facility was modern, very clean and well equipped. I left with every assurance that I had no serious neurological issues from the fall. Many thanks to everyone at Sacred Heart who had a part in providing me with compassionate care and peace of mind!

Shannan Begley Took my mom to the ER at 2 am. She was throwing up with bad abdominal pain. We were met at the door by a very nice security guard. He brought a wheelchair and pushed her inside. Once inside the ER they were quick to assess her. After the ct scan was read Dr. Smiley let us know she would be admitted for a bowel obstruction. Dr. Smiley and the nurses were absolutely wonderful, helping me and my mom feel comfortable and confident with her care. Once in her room, we continued to receive the same excellent care. Dr. Root, the nurses and techs were all excellent. They were very nice, professional and helpful. They were so good, I felt comfortable leaving my mom to go take care of her yorkie. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was knowing she was being treated well and taken care of. She was discharged this morning as the blockage resolved itself. If it hadn’t, I felt 100% confident in Dr. Root doing surgery on my mom. I want to say THANK YOU, to each person involved with my mom’s care!

Ryan Bibler This has to be the smallest hospital I have ever seen. We had to stop here for an emergency room visit for an ex ray of my wife’s foot. They took her back quickly and did the ex ray. A doctor came back within 30 minutes to let us know the results. We were in and out within an hour. The staff was friendly.

Phil Wolfe Great experience. Arrived for my procedure a bit early and didn’t have to wait to be escorted to the pre op area for prep. Everyone was very professional, engaging, and very skilled at their job. Communication was extremely good before, during, and after the procedure. I was very impressed by everyone I came into contact with and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking care.

We were both very pleased with our treatment here, both by the quick check-in as well as the entire process before, during & after our treatments. Extremely satisfied here!!

Brooke Franklin We are from NC and my mom came down with covid while on vacation. From the volunteers at the entrance, we were met with smiling faces everywhere we went. Kala and Courtney in the ER were quick and efficient in getting her assessed and getting the ER doctor in to see her. Labs and test were done in a timely manner. She was transferred to the floor where her great care continued. You see, I am a nurse myself and I am very appreciative of the care she has been given and that we chose this hospital to come to. I know how busy hospitals are and when you’re on the other side, it’s great to receive this kind of care. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone!
