Olivia Fairrow Alexa at Salon Del Sol is amazing! My husband and I needed hair cuts pretty bad and had some free time today. So we booked online at this place because it was nearby. Alexa is so knowledgeable and does such great work! She makes sure she knows what you want before she starts, and teaches you how to take care of your hair. I have super fine straight hair and my husband has very curly curls, and she did both cuts and styles so perfect! She’s great with all hair-types! My husband’s curls have never looked so good!

Amira Eltantawy Had the best experience as a new client! I’ve now found my go-to hair salon. Alexa listened to what I wanted for my hair and truly excelled in giving me an amazing haircut and styling! She knew exactly what would look good on me and gave me a beautiful haircut! She also taught me how to take care of my hair better and gave me great tips and tricks to get my hair to look its best and exactly what products I should use for my hair type! Blue This was my first time going to this salon since moving here. I was afraid but I was willing to try it out! She asked me questions, she observed my hair. She answered my questions, she is friendly and warm. Very welcoming and I appreciate that because I felt like I was home! I told her what I wanted and she did that and more!!! I am definitely coming back!!

Jessica Franck Erica at Sarah’s Hair Studio recently did my hair (plus 6 other people in my wedding party) for my wedding a few weeks ago. Everyone’s hair turned out beautifully and I absolutely loved mine! Erica is so great at creating the perfect style based on your taste and ideas; she is also so sweet and such a pleasure to be around. Some of my bridesmaids didn’t have a specific style in mind and she created stunning looks! My hair looked so great in the mirror and in all of our pictures and it stayed perfect throughout the entire wedding. I didn’t want to take it down at the end of the night! Erica was so helpful throughout the process and answered all of my questions. I will definitely go back to her for hairstyling for any other events in the future or even just for a night out. Maura Pedersen I went to see Masha yesterday (On a Sunday! Who even does that?). She turned my head of long, coarse, wavy/curly, thick, gray hair into the MOST adorable little summer bob. It looks great and feels amazing! Im getting so many compliments at work today. The price was beyond reasonable. She was very careful to make sure we were on the same page, and took her time to ensure that the cut was perfect and lengths were even. All while I got to drink a lovely glass of wine. Five stars!

Allison Bordini Okay so first the positives: the salon is beautiful and comfortable and everyone that worked there seemed super nice! I also appreciate the mask policy! I felt safe and didn’t get COVID while I was here! I chose this place based on all the positive reviews, so it seems it works out for many people, and it may be the perfect salon experience for you. I have thick, curly, kinda difficult hair. It’s important to find someone that knows your hair and curl pattern, and I took a chance. My haircut is cute and I get tons of compliments, but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted and doesn’t work well with my lifestyle and my job (which includes being outside a lot). There were a couple red flags. Usually, when I’ve been to other salons they ask what I’m interested in getting done. This time, I was told to just put my stuff down and sit (still in a nice way!) and I made sure to pull some photos of what I wanted out, which included cutting off what ended up being 16 inches to donate, shoulder to mid neck length at the shortest, some side bangs, and the ability to ponytail for work and working out. The whole process was comfortable during, but at the very end of my cut that I watched anxiously get shorter and shorter, they asked if I used product. I don’t because it aggravates my scalp condition. I was just told I should get some because I’ll probably need it. I also asked if I’d be able to ponytail it and she said yes for sure. I know my hair. It’s thick. I cannot ponytail it. Anytime I do a workout or do strenuous stuff at work, the parts that can’t get put up get sweaty and it grosses me out, but that sounds like a me problem. Also, she did some layering cuts at the end so my hair wouldn’t be boxy, and I left the salon feeling good, and got home to basically a frizzy triangle hair. My hair is a hit or miss when it comes to layers. So long story short, the salon is nice and the people working are straight up lovely, but it’s not the salon for me. It may work great for you, so just know your hair and what you really want and you should be fine.

Martha Stewart Masha is so great at her craft! Lovely, comfortable, quiet and clean salon. Its usually just me and Masha in the salon during the time of my appointment. Beyond pleased with everything shes done to my head. Always returning for a fresh cut or color!! Pls try this salon!

Portalatin Cynthia (Cynthia Rose) Kyle has wonderfully positive, healing energy. I highly recommend his massages. He is very skilled in technique and I felt comfortable with him. Everyone I met in the salon was super nice. There is free parking on the first floor of the garage which is kind of behind the salon… was a little tricky to find, but thankfully Blue Gill restaurant had a street level sign that helped me find it. Beautiful jewelry for sale by a local artist. And the salon has all Aveda products so it smelled wonderful. I booked my next massage already!

Jennifer Ulery Brittany King did a phenomenal job on my haircut! Really listened to what I wanted, gave suggestions, and was super pleasant to talk to! I got about 3-4 inches cut off and asked for curtain bangs, long layers and face framing. My already fine hair has gone through quite a few pre-and postpartum hair-shedding phases, so I desperately needed an update. I feel like a new mama! Will definitely be returning:)

Dayana Georgieva Fantastic service! I was looking for a keratin treatment that will solve my frizzy Florida hair problems, and upon doing some research I found this salon. It was easy to make an appointment and their Cezanne Smoothing Treatment seemed like a good choice for my hair. The staff were welcoming and the salon was clean and organized. Brittany was very friendly and did a fantastic job with my hair! She even took before and after pictures for me. I am so so happy with the final result and this salon. For my long hair I paid $260 before tipping; which I already expected since the staff were transparent about how much it would cost for various hair lengths. The only confusing part was finding the parking garage, which the front desk easily directed me to over the phone. Will definitely be coming back here!

D f This is my holy grail salon. Michelle is always so sweet and amazing to talk to throughout the service. The front desk staff is very inviting and personable to all clientele. They offer refreshments when entering and the atmosphere is always super inviting. I’ve been coming here for three years or more and I’ve never had a bad experience! Having curly hair, it can be very difficult to find someone who is as caring as Michelle. She is amazing! Can not recommend Avant Garde Salon enough :)

Sydney Barajas It was great until it was not.. I was aware we could not get where I wanted immediately, however we definitely could have gotten further if they assigned me a hairstylist who knew what they were doing. Michelle is a great person, but do not go to her if you have a complex hair history. I am deeply saddened my hair is fried now and feels super unhealthy. She always preached to me about maintaining the integrity of my hair, so I was fine with the slow/minimal results but quickly my hair quality deteriorated and I’ve always had thick hair even after bleaching. After my second appointment, I cried in my car from how botched it looked, it was not what I asked for and I felt really awful because she did what she wanted rather than what I wanted and I even noted it but she said I’d have to wait until my next appointment (2 months out) for it to be fixed, I was out the salon with a harsh line of color that many peers noticed. For the amount I paid over appointments, I wish this was not the result. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because another stylist did try to fix it and she was really nice, but the damage is irreversible and I’m going to have to wait a really long time to get the quality of my hair back. I have hair breakage like never before, and hair that is all different shades and my hair is originally curly so now my hair is just a frizzy mess no matter what I use in my hair. Please go to a different salon if your hair background is a bit more complicated.

Kirsten Taylor My whole experience was great. Carleigh was messaging me about my hair weeks in advance to really understand where I wanted my hair to be. When I arrived for my appointment I went right to the chair. The whole atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. Carleigh did an amazing job on my hair and fixed the previous mistakes that had been done a few weeks prior. She also recommended products to me without making me feel pressured to buy them that day. Ive FINALLY found a hairstylist that I can always go to!

She is stellar and so easy to get along with. I will definitely be back and actually keeping up with maintenance for once.

Nicki I’ve been going to this salon for 25yrs! Irene did my hair for prom in 2001. This place has amazing staff and they truly are family! I see Christina now for color and cuts, I absolutely love this girl. Best salon in town!

Gabrielle Pogge I love this salon. Its bright, clean, staff are friendly, and I enjoy checking out the local artwork theyve hosted. Sara has been working on my hair for about 4 years and has taken me through MANY varieties of short cuts. I like to change it up frequently but dont always know what want. Sometimes I bring a couple of pictures to give her an idea about what Im looking for and others I just let her run with it! She has a great sense for whats going to look good on me and what fits for my style. Weve also played with some fun colors--I particularly loved the purple she helped me choose. A couple of years ago she helped me decide on and test a style for a wedding and took some detailed pictures to help the on-site stylist re-create it (which worked out fabulously!). She also did a Grinch look for me for a Christmas party one year and it was exactly what I was looking for. In short, Sara is easy to work with, fun to chat with, and delivers results youll love!

Beverly Varshovi Sabrina Johns is absolutely the best! She is extraordinarily skilled in color and cut, knowledgeable in outcomes and is a warm and comfortable person to spend time with. She is excrptional with red coloring. I had many botched jobs before I found her and now my red is extremely close to my natural color. Thats hard to do. I have never seen a color or cut leave her chair that did not look terrific! Plus, her work space is private, peaceful and relaxing. Many times you will find her working with a newer stylist, Jackie. They are both charming, fun and skilled.

Jessica Perez Kate did an AMAZING job fixing my mess of a head of hair! She really took time to explain everything and how we can get my hair to the goal I have wanted for a long time but have never achieved. She had the knowledge and skills to fix my super harsh low lights and bring the entire look together. I can’t wait to see how much more gorgeous it gets over our next appointments. It is hard to style and color super long hair but she did such a great job! My hair has never looked or felt better! ❤️ her so much!!!

Midnight Shade I wouldn’t recommend this salon for regular haircuts and coloring. I got curtain bangs and my hair dyed black and the color literally washed out within the month, and the hair cut looked awful after 2 weeks. The hospitality and atmosphere was great but as for the quality/skills of hair styling/coloring, my expectations weren’t met. I don’t know which type of dye the owner uses but it just seems cheap for the amount I paid and tipped.

Abby Metz Elliot is talented, kind and knowledgeable. They provide excellent hair care services and do a good job making everyone feel welcome. I went here right after a wicked bad hair cut from a supercut and Elliot was reassuring, provided a couple solutions and gave me a cut I love even more than before. Ive been coming for half a year now and bring my entire family!! The studio is comfortable and relaxing and even tho Im super awkward Elliot does a great job making me and my family feel welcome. 10000/10 best place around.

Lindsey Field Ive been getting my hair done on the regular by Danielle for over a year now - and she is AMAZING! I absolutely look forward to sitting in her chair every 6 weeks! Since seeing Danielle, Ive found its easier to care for my hair, I "do" my hair way more often (quite something for this busy mom of three!), and my hair is super healthy. She is so friendly and down to earth - really easy to talk to (which is so important for an introvert like me!) and the atmosphere she creates is just so inviting and relaxing. And she always does a superb job with my curly hair. I highly highly recommend Danielle, you and your hair will not be disappointed!

Martha Varela I have been a loyal client of Shannon’s since 2018 and she’s done my hair multiple times and i loved the way she worked my hair, however, i recently saw her and i could just tell she wasn’t that devoted to her work anymore. she completely butchered my haircut and when i asked if she could fix it she said she’d reschedule me to fix the cut. i showed up promptly to the salon and she made me wait over 20 minutes, (i get that stylists run behind, but she had already told me to come later than my original appointment time) i ended up leaving because i couldn’t wait all afternoon, and when she told me she was ready, i notified her that i left, she “tried” to reschedule me but actually never replied. i have always been willing to pay for her work because i thought she was extremely talented, and she even raised her prices but did not meet her quality work… for someone who has been loyal to her, she disappointed me this time. i would not recommend her to anyone going forward

Karla De Anda I recently visited Shannon Lindsay Cross for a cut and color, and I regret to say it was a very disappointing experience. I paid $420 for 3.5 hours of work, but I left feeling that my concerns and expectations were ignored. I showed her a photo of the blonde I wanted, and while she acknowledged it during the appointment, the final result was far from what I asked for. When I reached out afterward to express my dissatisfaction (as she had encouraged me to do), I was met with dismissiveness. Despite offering to pay for a correction, she ignored my willingness to resolve the issue and abruptly ended the conversation. I also felt there was a lack of transparency about her process. For example, she spent a significant portion of the session straightening my hair, which I could have done beforehand if communicated. Instead of taking responsibility for the time management or the outcome, she deflected by blaming the sessions limitations. Whats most disappointing is the apparent lack of care for client satisfaction. A great stylist not only produces beautiful results but also listens to their clients, communicates honestly, and works collaboratively. Unfortunately, that wasnt my experience here. She clearly no longer loves what she does and has become complacent with her work. I cannot recommend her to anyone who values professionalism, transparency, and client-centered service.

She is extremely thorough while coloring your hair, and the results clearly show. She gave me tips on how to care for my new hair color, and even after bleaching several times, my hair is still extremely healthy. Lindsey takes such great care of me and my hair, and is so easy going and fun to talk to that the time flies by. The pricing is definitely fair for what you get and with her level of expertise. You are in great hands with her, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Chris Harrelson Great communication, awesome vibe, and one of the best cuts I’ve ever had and even though I don’t have much hair I am extremely picky. Mrs Rilee took care of me and had me looking right when I walked out. Super friendly, super clean , and very professional even though her and her co workers made me feel like a rock star. eva I went to a stylist in town to get my hair color corrected, and she did a remover to get some green and brown out and then referred me to Beach Break because she didn’t have availability until late july-early august to do the rest (she also said even if i did book with her late july-early august to do the rest it would take awhile, many appointments over a long time span and a lot of patience). I’m glad i came here because Rilee is awesome and she was able to double book me soon after and lift my hair to this blonde in just one appointment, I didn’t know how many it was going to take to get to. Only one more until i get my desired color and i can’t wait! My last stylist told me it would be at least 4 appointments after the remover, but now i only need one more! I definitely reccomend rilee. She does a great job and she is also very sweet and reassuring.

Crystal Dozier Cherelle is amazing. Love my husbands retwist. However, whoever is working the Barber is disrespectful. I came in the wrong door unknowingly. Instead of telling me at that point that I came in the wrong door, the barber walked me back to Cherelle’s area. On my way back through, he decided that was the time to be mouthy and say “there’s a front door too” while laughing and the entire room laughed. Absolutely not okay. He could have let me know I came in the wrong door. He chose not to, instead making fun of me? Not a way to keep business.

With a few gray hairs coming in, I wanted a balayage, and Brent helped me achieve a warm balayage that I absolutely love. Not only does Brent take his craft seriously, but he also shares his expertise with other salon specialists around Florida. Overall, the staff is wonderful, and the vibes are fantastic. Jan Meyers Last month was my first time with Rosie. I have short combination wavy and straight hair. Rosie took the time to give me a great haircut that falls into place when blow drying. She was both friendly and professional. She offered advice that I didn’t even think of. Everyone at the shop was pleasant. Will go back for a haircut and surface foil tomorrow.

Katie Stites I decided to make the big change of going from long hair to short hair. Scary and exciting! I had the most amazing experience with Rosie at Mode Salon and I couldn’t be happier with the cut she gave me. She is super friendly, very easy to work with and incredibly talented. She gave me great feedback about the photos I brought in so that I was sure to make the best decision for my hair, face and personality. I will definitely be going back to her for my cuts in the future and I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a fabulous cut and/or color. And of course a before and after, because it’s what we all really want to see.

Karina Lowyns I am so disappointed in the service that I received at this salon. It used to be my go-to, but at this point I do not see myself going back. I went to see Jen to go from a natural blonde to go more copper/red but still maintaining the majority of that original blonde as highlights and at the roots. There were multiple reference photos that showed this, and we talked about in in-depth in a consultation before, over text, and right before the appointment began. We seemed to be on the same page. After the fact, there were very minimal highlights and it was not at all like the reference photos or our conversation. When I reached out to Jen, expressing my concern and hoping we could fix it, it took her a week to reply and she only did so after follow up texts from me. She quoted me about $70-80 for a “few more highlights up front,” saying that will be the cost of product alone, when that is generally the cost of product for a whole head of highlights. She was incredibly condescending in her messages. When I replied, explaining how since the color was no where near what we agreed upon, I was a bit shocked at the price, especially since if it was done at the original appointment, I wouldn’t have paid more at that time. It has since then weeks and I’ve yet to hear back from Jen. I am so frustrated with the service I received and the lack of commutation, especially due to the deviation from the clear plan for an expensive coloring.

Ashley Hiller Getting my hair done with Jackie was easily the best experience I’ve had at a salon in years. She listened, she was cautious and went the best route I could have asked for. She had me leaving like a million bucks. If you want to trust anyone with your hair, trust Jackie. Thank you for making me feel brand new. Everyone there was so pleasant comforting and polite. I would come back routinely just for the experience.

Sanchez Aimy Dillon was 10/10!!! I was running behind due to car troubles but they were so kind about it when I walked in. They were very attentive about my hair history and what I wanted my end result to be. I felt so comfortable and safe in this salon and not mention I left with a great haircut that suited my curls. I recommend to all!!!!

Jamie North I have been coming to this amazing salon to see the wonderful Miss Gina for roughly a year now. She is absolutely the BEST to work with. I originally was shy going in and started seeing her last year when i had long hair. After my first visit i was left dumbfounded how comfortable I was with her within such a short amount of time during my first meeting with her. I am EXTREMELY picky with who I will let cut my hair, and by my second visit I felt comfortable enough to have Miss Gina cut my hair for Children with Hair Loss. Needless to say, she absolutely SLAYED it. The pictures below do NOT do it justice. Bonus points too if you love anime, you will absolutely enjoy chatting with her!. On top of all of this she takes the time to talk through what you want done with your hair, and also the realistic possible outcomes making you feel 100% comfortable with any choice you make. May it be long or short, natural of colorful, I cannot recommend Gina enough! I had reference photos, we talked about which one would best suit my hair type and the expectation was definitely exceeded. The atmosphere of the salon is really nice. Great music, great service. I am so looking forward to my next appointment, I never want to go anywhere else.

Lee Ann Inkel Nice lady. Good Hair Cut. Bad highlights. *All photos taken within 30 minutes of leaving appointment.* I made an appointment for a hair cut and blonde highlights with "whichever stylist is the best at blonde highlights". Helen made me an appointment with herself. I showed a picture of what I was going for (very blonde hair) and asked if it could be done and she said told me it could. To be fair, after consulting elsewhere, it sounds like it wouldnt have worked due to us having different natural hair colors. While I wanted blended, blonde highlights that would overall lighten my hair color for summer, I received chunky, uneven highlights. I have splotches in my hair from where the chemicals bled out of the foil wraps. Some areas of my hair also very quickly went brassy. The highlights started farther from my root than they should have, which made it look like they had already grown out. Helen kept complimenting me at the end on how good it looked. The next day I went back for a refund. She repeatedly offered to add more blonde; however, I declined as I need to go elsewhere to fix it. Since the hair cut was good, I had no problem paying for that. Helen attempted to charge me $20 more than she had previously quoted me for a haircut. Turns out she was trying to get me to cover the cost of the chemicals she used. When I disagreed, she relented, and said her business had been there a long time and she wanted clients happy.

Lo Has Helen is sweet and kind and gets to the point! I came in with two pictures, and she cut my hair according to the photos. She also suggested ways to wash and style my fine, curly hair, and the level of conversation was comfortable without being overbearing like some hairstylists can be. She also gives nice shampoos with teatree oil and massages as well. I will come here again for a hair trim, and maybe a manicure one day, too!

Michelle Yonke Michele Steven has been my stylist/colorist for years and her work is always wonderful. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a real professional to care for their hair. She is extremely conscientious, listens well and her cleanliness is well above what is recommended by the CDC.

Adriana Ahumada I deeply regret having cut my hair there, Helen did not give me a haircut even remotely close to what I asked for and I left the place looking 10 years older than I am.

Cata Ram Janet is very professional and has tons of experience. She always uses good quality products and that is very important to me. Shes been cutting my hair and taking care of my highlights for many years. I absolutely recommend her a 101%
