kasidee graham I’ve had my hair color/extensions done at Glam for years and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of service or any of the staff. It’s really nice to go to a salon where all of the stylists get along with each other and there’s never any weird vibes or tension between them. They are all very down to earth and professional, which makes for such a comfortable experience. I couldn’t recommend Glam highly enough!

Anastasia Johnson I always have the best experience when I come here. Madelyn is so sweet, detail oriented, and gives in my experience the best scalp massage. The shampoo and the scalp massage are definitely my favorite. This is definitely the place to come to. All the girls are friendly, energetic, and funny. They all have a great relationship with each other. Truly a wonderful experience. And I will be coming back to try out their nail services as well.

Stephanie Brown I’ve been coming to this salon for about a year as it was recommended by my cousin and aunt. My first stylist was great and consistently did a beautiful job. In October, my appointment was canceled and moved the day before my appointment to another stylist due to someone’s wedding.
In October the new stylist did not use the same toner as my previous stylist had been using as it was very dark and never washed out like toner’s usually do. I never said anything because I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. I gave the new stylist a chance to fix the problem in November.
I’ve gone twice this month and I’ve spent around $600. Money is not an issue, I just wanted my hair to be a beautiful balayage.
On Nov. 16th when I had the balayage done something went wrong; the stylist was whispering to someone while my hair was in the bowl. I also overheard her talking to someone else about my hair. They all knew it was wrong and she tried to cover it up with a second toner. About a week later the toner was gone and I could visibly see uneven tones through out my hair. I called to schedule a second appointment and within an hour the stylist was calling me to tell me that she would not be able to do anything else with my color and she would need to talk to her manager. The day before my appointment, the manager called me saying that I wanted to speak to her which is not what I asked; she was very unpleasant, distracted and dismissive.
I arranged to have my hair cut and deep conditioned yesterday with hopes of discussing my hair and doing something to fix it which was what the manager said would be done. Again, money is not an issue, I was booked for plenty of time but my hair never got fixed. No one even looked at it besides the stylist. My previous stylist was there but was too busy to even look at my hair for a minute. I got the cut and deep conditioner and walk out of there in tears. The cut looked like a child attacked my hair.
Everyone I speak to about this says that I got ripped off. My hair still doesn’t look good after spending the kind of money that I spent. The quality is just not there and the customer service is lacking. After being a customer for a year, I will not go back due to the experience.
Edited for further clarification:
Nothing was done to correct my hair on the day I went in to get it corrected. Nothing! I was told by the stylist that I needed to book with my original stylist to have it “fixed”.
I was never offered what the manager is “claiming” was offered. It seems like this salon cannot accept that they actually did something wrong. Why bother speaking with the manager any further when all she continues to do is dismiss the problem.
My truthful review will stay and hopefully will help someone in the future to make an informed decision in choosing this salon.
The photo is my hair less than a month later.

Anna Borrero We love booking with Olivia! She has been cutting and styling my daughter’s hair (yay for bangs!) for quite a few months and we are excited to see her again in 2025. She’s a wonderful stylist and so caring. We love her style and are excited to watch Olivia grow in her profession and art! Keep up the great work, Glam Color Bar! MARIAH To celebrate my birthday, I booked a hair appointment for a foil, halo, and brown retouch on the top section of my head. During the appointment, the stylist dyed my roots but failed to dye the brown sections at the bottom, despite my long hair. When I inquired about the brown sections, she stated that toning it down to a brown would be sufficient. However, after the blow-drying process, I was disappointed to find that my hair still had a copper tone, the brown sections remained unchanged, and the blonde color was uneven. While shes blow-drying my hair, I notice that shes having trouble running her fingers through it. Considering my hairs excellent health and lack of box dye for an extended period, I take it upon myself to run my fingers through my hair and notice its chalky texture. Further examination reveals that the bleach was left at the base of my hair, near the roots, and that she was unknowingly blow-drying hot bleach onto my hair follicles. I inform her that theres still bleach residue at the bottom of my hair, which needs to be washed out. Although her initial response is to suggest a temporary solution using a spray bottle and towel, I firmly advise against this approach, insisting that we need to wash the entire thing out. Ultimately, she relents and washes it out. After washing my hair, the stylist brought me back to the chair, began working on my hair and suggested a braid, as I refused to allow her to blow dry my hair. However, she failed to address the issue with the brown dye, which was not applied correctly, resulting in an uneven color. Instead, she claimed to have applied color to the roots, which was not the problem area. The rest of my hair, approximately 10 inches, had an undesirable copper brown color, and now I have a mix of blonde, copper brown and dark brown. I wish that was all, but theres more: as I mentioned ,the hairstyle created a braid with my wet hair. Upon getting into my car, I touched the braid and was surprised to find it teeming with shampoo bubbles, and not just a little bubbles. My hair had a thick patch of shampoo still in my hair .Evidently, she didnt rinse my hair sufficiently AGAIN. .This incident occurred two days prior to my birthday, prompting me to cancel my celebration due to the unsatisfactory condition of my hair. The stylist did not offer to rectify the situation and instead proceeded to check me out. I was charged $200 for a service that failed to achieve the desired results, leaving me with orange hair and an uneven blonde color. I was extremely dissatisfied and distressed by the experience(cried in my car the way home) Id like to point out that I did give her a twenty-dollar tip, considering that everyone needs to earn a living and I wasnt sure if she was new. Usually, I tip between 100 to 150 dollars when I get my hair done, taking into account the amount of hair I have, but if she had made an effort to fix the issues with the coloring, blow drying, and washing out the bleach without me having to ask, she would have received a larger gratuity. Although she was very pleasant, every aspect of this experience was wrong, and I wont be coming back.
