Casia Justine ***UPDATED!! Feb 2025**** I’m still going to Ciara and will continue to! She has been helping me with my long hair journey!! Her products are amazing and she’s such a genuine person! I’ve been going to Ciara for over 3 years and she is THE BEST! Very professional and genuine. She also uses some amazing products that have great ingredients in them and they smell so good. She does book up fast, but she’s worth the wait.

Christine I have been going to Brandon for 5 years. I have never had a bad experience and have always loved my color and cut, which is a first for me. Even if I dont know what I want to do with my hair he is able to make the best suggestions of what looks good with my facial features and what works with my busy lifestyle. You really cant have a better experience with a hair stylist then Brandon. The salon experience he creates for his clients from the minute you walk in the door is pure luxury and sheer serenity. Barbie Blatzheim Brandon was fantastic! My husband and I are from out of town and both needed haircuts and I also needed a color. My cut and color are perfect and my husband’s cut is also. I was also amazed that he got us in so quickly! We’ll definitely be back!

Tijana Juhas I moved to Florida from New Jersey a few years ago and I had a really hard time finding a good salon that was reasonably priced that knew how to do blonde hair. I am very picky and super specific as to how I like my color and cut done. Laell takes her time and is so good! Results are always amazing and I am not stressed out during the process wondering how it will turn out. Highly recommend!!

elizabeth vary My longtime stylist, Gina, just moved to Bombshell. It’s a very cute, personal salon and not a crowded franchise. Gina has been doing my hair for over a decade and I drive a few hours just to see her - she’s that good! Highly recommend Gina and this salon!

Tina Robin’s skillset is second to none. You can tell she’s been doing hair for a long time. My color needed some correcting and she knew exactly what to do. She even gave me pro tips on how to avoid what needed corrected to begin with and what products to purchase and how to use them at home. I’m so excited that I finally found a master colorist in Sarasota (who’s also pleasant to talk to)! Her prices aren’t exorbitant as a bonus.

Julie Kweder First time getting my hair colored in Sarasota. Took a chance with the positive reviews for Robin and Bombshell hair. I’m so glad I did. Between my grey roots, sun damage and not having a water softener, my hair was a mess! Robin was a true professional and also very kind. Geraldine Moulton Florys is amazing hairstylist ! I have very dark hair and she accomplished what I though was impossible, giving me ashy highlights, without the slightest presence of red in it!!! I am out of this world excited with the results! Every time I attempted to go lighter it ended up red or orange. She is amazing!!!

The salon was nice and clean with friendly staff. Curt had a lot of experience and did a great job cutting some framing layers. He got some of the weight off but still left plenty of length like I wanted! Most stylist I have been to are overwhelmed by my hair thickness, but it was not a problem here. I will go back the next time Im in town!

Elise Mole I have had the same Ouidad curly hair hairdresser cutting my hair for years so I was skeptical about trying someone new. Bridget was AWESOME! Gave me a great haircut!! Kristin Antalavits New client to Bridget coming in with out-of-control curly hair. Hadnt have a cut since August due to hurricanes and then my stylist left the salon. Found Bridget and SHE IS MY GODDESS. So good with the curls. Immediately relaxed. She explained everything that she did to my hair, the products she used and how she styled my hair. She didnt try to up-sell products to me, which I appreciated. I left feeling beautiful (wish I would have put my make up on that day!). Cant wait to go back. Make the appointment!!

Heather Leigh Tim is an absolute delight. I went to him after another stylist damaged my hair so bad. After coming and seeing him a few times my hair is healthier than it’s ever been. They really work with you on getting the style you want in a consultation before you get your hair done with a booked appointment. Rachel did a wonderful job getting my hair back to a healthy style fit for me. Nuovo Salons really take their time into their work they do for the services they give you. It may take a couple of hours longer depending on the length of your hair, and depending on if you get color added or not so be prepared to relax and stay awhile to be pampered when you go.

She is an amazing stylist, yet very artistic when working with my very bad, very thin hair, and my age also, she knows her craft very well, and gives me the style and color that really REALLY elevates my appearance!!! Sandra Scott I booked online. Showed up 30 minutes early. No one as much as looked up, but 3 technicians were all working. At my appointment time, one had put a client under the dryer and was doing her own hair, one was in back doing nails. The 3rd was cleaning up after the previous client. 15 minutes later, she picked up her bag and told her co-workers goodbye and left the salon. Not once did anyone even acknowledge me, so I left and took my business elsewhere.

Jessica Hale I had the pleasure of working with Assunta and Kim for my wedding hair and makeup. Not only were they talented, professional, and knowledgeable, but they were also so down to earth and kind. They put me at ease from the moment I met them! I knew that I would be in great hands on my wedding day. Assunta tamed my thick curly hair into a gorgeous wavy blown-out glam style for my wedding day, and Kims makeup made me feel like a goddess. They also did the hair and makeup for my maid of honor, my mother, and my daughter, and we never felt rushed or like we were running behind at all. The whole process of working with them was amazing, and the quality of their work is second to none!

Kavita Bhatt I would not recommend this place for people with ethnic hair. I am Indian so my hair is not super unruly or difficult to deal with, but the styling has to be on point. I did mention this at the start and once the thinning scissors were brought out I knew I was in trouble. I let it sit for 2 weeks to see if it would settle, it didnt. When I went back the owner told me that I had waited too long and acted super inconvenienced like I was a huge bother. She then had her assistant hack at it some more with the thinning scissors. When I went to my regular stylist in NYC he was shocked at the botch job he had to fix.

Rachael Davis Assunta Salon was so accommodating to our schedule. We came from Kansas for my daughter’s senior pictures and they nailed the look we wanted. Natural, yet beautiful! Kim and Assunta were down to earth and great conversation. They had great suggestions for attaining the perfect look! We definitely recommend them and plan to be back in the future! I had my balayage done by Time, and the results were absolutely stunning—exactly what I envisioned. What makes this salon even better is that they offer multiple services in one place, including brow tinting and shaping, as well as nail services. It’s truly a one-stop shop for all your beauty needs. I highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Romina De Beras Today was my first time going to this salon because I’m new to the area and let me just say that I couldn’t have had a better experience!!! Timi is a magician with the transformation she did on my hair. Aside from the beautiful job that was done on my hair, the salon is so pretty, clean and just gives off good vibes. My stylist, Bre, could not have done a better job! She did exactly what I was wanting. She had stunning communication and her personality was just amazing!

Catherine McAree My bridal party and I had our hair done here for my wedding this past March and it was an amazing experience!! I have been doing my cut and color at this salon for over a year, and have always loved it (shoutout to Agnes for my beautiful highlights!), but they really pulled out all of the stops on my wedding day. Liza put out an entire pastry and mimosa spread for us and even put an adorable sign out front to mark the occasion. My entire bridal party’s hair looked stunning after. Tayler did my hair and it was even more gorgeous than I could have imagined. I was so happy with how it turned out and it lasted throughout the entire day and night, including hours of dancing. The whole experience was relaxing and fun and all of the staff are here so lovely and talented. Thank you again to everyone!!!

olivia hammer I went to Kaitlyn for a much needed color refresh. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work! I showed her inspiration pictures at the beginning and she literally crushed it - well beyond my expectations! My hair looks amazing, I’m obsessed, and I will be coming back. The salon is also very clean and aesthetically pleasing - loved my whole experience!!

Alyssa Zicolello I never felt so rushed at a salon before. I told my stylist I wanted to keep my hair long and add some movement and she cut it way too short. I was there for 30 minutes (wash cut dry). She didn’t check her work to make sure it was cut evenly. She had two other clients there and I feel like she wanted to make extra money and squeezed me in And rushed to get to her other clients.

Drealina Photography Delina is a brunettes specialists and she truly is worth every penny! Her work speaks for itself, my hair looks and feels amazing. It looks so soft and natural! Her assistant Brooke is also so sweet. They are such a fun duo. I’m usually a control freak with my hair but I kinda just told her ideas of what I wanted but ultimately I let her do her own thing, and as you can see it turned out beautifully. I was in at 11:00 and gone by 12:30. I feel that anyone who does brunettes needs to be a specialist at it so you don’t leave the salon looking brassy and orange! It is so hard to find people who really know how to do dark hair! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a specialist!

Marissa Zeveigenhaft Cannot say enough about the amazing culture and vibe at this salon, how they help each other and make guests feel welcomed - and how they are truly experts in their craft. I was lucky enough to be paired with Dasha who far exceeded what I asked for, and after spending the day with her for my long hair coloring process (I have a ton of hair) I can tell you she is an amazing person with the best heart and truly an artist - my hair goals were achieved and I have zero damage which is not typical! I havent done anything for myself in a long time and she made the experience so much fun and I truly enjoyed hanging out with her and getting pampered at the same time. Shes worth every penny and then some. My sister now wants to see her too. Highly recommend!
