I had gone to Tori (Victoria) Jensen multiple times in the past because she is the only person who has managed to make my hair look like it was pulled from Pinterest. She always takes into account my hair texture, thickness, cowlicks, etc and is excellent at educating on what will work best for my hair type. I always get so many compliments on my hair after I get it done. So worth every single penny!

Asha Diaz Hi my name is Asha I just got a haircut today with Sam. I am reaching out without any ill intent or bashing her I just want it to be known how my hair was botched today. Durning the process when she cut it I wasn’t able to see what she was doing but before hand showed her inspo pictures. With her infectious positivity and genuine love for people it’s a 10 star experience everytime. Not only do I recommend her for my own hair, she’s fantastic with husbands and kids. My little one is very talkative or social and not too keen on strangers. After 5 min in Tracy’s chair you would have thought they’ve know each other his whole life. He comes right out of his shell for his favorite stylist. And I can tell everytime my husband gets a haircut, he doesn’t talk my ear off that night. Lol. Ever since he retired, he just gets so bored at home all day. I call her my Husband babysitter, I’d sign him up to go to Tracy’s every day if I could!

I had booked my daughter, an updo appointment for her spring formal. The night before the formal the Hairstylist from a different salon canceled. Forcing me to have to find a new Hairstylist the morning of the formal on a Sunday. Dan, was able to find me a stylist who did a phenomenal job! Stephanie was nice and accommodating. My daughter said she felt like a princess after her hair was done. I will definitely be going back in the future when they get into their new building. What I liked best was they worked with my budget.

Lightning McQueen On one of the most important days of my life Dan pulled everything together for me. The morning of my wedding, the person I was scheduled for hair and makeup called out and so my appointment was canceled. I scrambled to try and find last minute hair and makeup services and every call I made was a dead end. Luckily, I stumbled across Waves on Google. He called in two lovely ladies, Maddy for hair and Amanda for makeup. Both did an amazing job. They saved my whole day, I couldnt be more thankful. I got married that afternoon and thanks to Dan and his incredible staff I was ready for it. Love this place ♡

Steven Katkowsky I"ve never had my hair styled like this before. Its now been about 10 hours since i left the salon, and after walking in the rain, working with my tools, playing with the dog, running my fingers through my hair, etc, my hair looks the same as when I left the salon. And she didnt put any spray on my hair, only a conditioner. The shape is holding due to her great talent in cutting my hair correctly. Previously I"ve always gotten my hair cut in a high end Silicon Valley Ca. or San Francisco salon, where I used to live. And still, nothing compares to my experience today. Well, its now been about 4 weeks since my haircut and my hair still looks perfect. This is unbelievable! They have so many different color hair extensions to chose from and they will color match if you need to. EmMarie does my extensions and is fabulous!

Kayla Castleman Alyssa is so kind and very detail oriented when it comes to extensions. It is always done so well because she cares and wants it to be the best! Chris Ray When I moved to St Augustine in 2020 I had a hard time finding a good hairdresser, after several disappointing cuts a co-worker told me to try George, I did and have been going to him ever since. I get lots of compliments on my hair and I recommend everyone to George he is a Great guy and does a Great job. Make an appointment you won’t be disappointed Good service reasonable pricing.

Tee Harris George is AMAZING! Back a few months ago, I saw a girl who had the most amazing cut & color Ive ever seen. I instantly fell in love with her cut & color. I desperately needed & had been looking for a new stylist for some time. She had short hair, I had short hair (more like what I kept calling a boy cut), there was no way I was letting this opportunity pass me by. I had to ask who & where do you get your hair cut? My hair was so short at that 1st appointment, poor George didnt have a lot to work with. He worked his magic though! I left that appointment feeling beautiful & most important I left feeling so confident! I waited almost 12 weeks to make my next appointment. I knew George was going to work his magic again & that he did. That extra length was just what that cut needed. I can say with the biggest smile ever . . . Ive found my stylist!

Julie Rapacioli Worst haircut of my life by Mindy. Uneven. Choppy. Im not sure how you misunderstand a bit below shoulder to two inches above shoulder. Its not even long enough to secure in a clip to hide the awful cut, so now I will be miserable and hot in summer. At least they didnt charge me for absolutely butchering my hair. She did keep apologizing realizing she messed up and kept saying my hair was elastic and it dried shorter. Mind boggling. To top it off, it felt like she was ripping hair out of my head with thinning scissors and that has never happened before. Did Mindy just graduate? I confirmed the new stylist had experience when they called to confirm my appointment and they said yes. Will never go back and I am so angry at the incompetence. She also kept saying that she always makes this mistake and cuts too short. What the heck are you doing with a pair of scissors in your hand then? I guess good help must be hard to find. Now I have to go to someone else to fix this absolute disaster.

Betsy Lee They are always super friendly here, but they really struggled with my actual hair cut. A trim and bangs shaping lasted more than 2 hours - i think my stylist wasnt used to cutting thicker hair, and was intimidated by the thought of cutting it directly. I asked for curtain bangs, and ended up with blunt and lopsided bangs that my stylist had to call someone else over to try to fix. I ended up just going to a different salon the next day to get it fixed.

Kali Biglin Selfishly I didnt want to write this review and risk never getting an appointment again! But cannot recommend this salon and especially Tessa enough. I have been here for 3 years and have been to at several different stylist and she has exceeded my expectations. Anastasia OMalley I was excited to try a new salon today. My appt time was 2:30 and I was there in plenty of time. I was greeted by staff and asked if I wanted a beverage. So far so good…I was waiting quite a while to be greeted by my stylist. I never was. I finally decided to get up and leave the salon at 2:53. I was never told by anyone she was running behind, or by her personally. A huge let down.

Lexie Lucia is the best! She is so talented and one of the best to ever touch my hair. I was new to the area and finding someone that you trust with your hair is always a little nerve wracking. The salon itself is so adorable and welcoming. I immediately felt comfortable with Lucia. She caught on to the look that I wanted and gave me the most beautiful color and cut. My hair hadn’t been colored in years, and she made sure I felt confident and beautiful when walking out the door. I never felt rushed as she took her time when coloring, cutting, and even styling. I cannot recommend this salon and Lucia enough!!

Brittany Bergeron Lucia has been doing my extensions and styling my hair for years and I happily make a 2 hour drive to see her!! Her attention to detail, customer service, and she actually listens to what I want and I leave feeling so great every time. My hair and extensions always look so natural and I continually get compliments on how amazing my hair looks. I can’t recommend Lucia enough!!

On account of Ada being of Puerto Rican origin, the best word for her as a barber or hair stylist comes from Spanish: formidable, meaning fantastic, terrific, tremendous, intimidating, almost scary. Shes not just a skilled stylist/barber, shes a presence, a force of nature. The sign on her mirror captures something close to the core of her being. Chris Castle I went for a haircut this morning lost my former haircutter a year ago. That was the first time I went to see Ada. It’s been a while since I’ve had my haircut I don’t have time for so it was quite a chore when I saw her today lol I showed up with lots of problems That were happening to me this morning less than two minutes she settled me down made me laugh and made me look a lot better. It’s great to meet good people and this lady….Is amazing great for the soul….and awesome with the scissors. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Szilvia Borbely I’m very disappointed. I never leave bad reviews, but I have to do it now to save someone else from the sadness I feel right now. I’ve messed up my hair by using box dye and bleach. I understand I shouldn’t have, but I did and wanted to get fixed by a hairdresser. I looked up their website and the prices seemed reasonable. I called Keisha and told her I don’t speak perfect English but this and that happened to my hair and needs to be fixed. At the salon we were agreed on a full head highlights lowlights foil with some haircut. From the prices I saw on her website I thought that something I am ok to pay for it. So I didn’t feel the need of asking the price. Big mistake!! She was putting the foils in my hair for about to 2,5 hours,very slow,which never happened to me before with any of my previous hairdressers. And let me sit in the chair for like 30 ish minutes more. She washed it of toner haircut styling. And at the end I had to pay $550. Which was shocking. She said she goes by hourly rate for color correction. $150/hour. I have never heard of that before a hairdresser charging by hours. So if she is slow then I have to pay more?! They never mentioned anything about the /hour charge on their website so of course I was surprised by that. In my opinion if she is the professional at least she should say something at the beginning if I want this, this is the price range, if I am ok with it. The money is one thing. But when I got home I checked my hair from a closer look, and I noticed around my face is still yellow and the back is brassy and not really highlighted. This happened yesterday, I took the pictures today. I haven’t washed my hair since. I was so sad all day,I met my friend who got so upset over that happened to me and felt sorry to be this sad, and called the salon up to see if there anything we can do about it. But Keisha was rude to her and said check other salons prices they are all the same as hers and she won’t do anything to make this up for me. Not that,I would never go back there. You know, in this economy you think twice if you spend money on something. I was shocked by this experience. I just wanted to look nice for the summer and enjoying my fixed hair, even if it’s expensive. But right now I am just sitting here minus $$$ and deeply sad in my soul with my still brassy yellowish hair… I hope it doesn’t effect the other hairdressers business in her shop! Answer to your reply:Like I said before when I got home and checked my hair from a closer look I noticed it’s still yellow and brassy. For $550 at least it should be perfect if you call it color correction. I booked the next appointment with her because she was so pushy. I haven’t asked her for the next appointment, she offered it and I felt already uncomfortable after I have seen the price so I said yes to the appointment and asked her if I can cancel anytime. I tipped her because the tip was already in my hand and I felt bad about the situation not everyone like to confronting.I am not a professional to know the color correction prices. That’s why I checked the salon website before I booked to have an idea about pricing. Now you say it’s not even her pricing. How would I know that? If she cares so much about her clients at least she should give me a heads up about the high price. Not everyone has that kind of money to spend on their hair, even if it’s reasonable. I would maybe asking some other solution or go somewhere else. I am sorry you don’t have any empathy in this situation to understand my side of the story. I left the review because I want to save others from this bad experience and grab attention to always ask the price a head of at least an approximately price to have some idea. Mostly because your website is misleading. My friend called Keisha up because she wanted to ask her if there is any solution. She was wondering if there was any misunderstanding because of the language barrier. When Keisha gave her an attitude she probably got upset. But I still paid the full price. I didn’t deserve this kind of treatment.

Verna Leggett Love this salon! I see autumn and Keisha. Whichever is available to fit my schedule. They always do exactly what I ask for and are responsibly priced. They have a fully stocked coffee bar that I love. So while getting my hair done I can enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee or iced coffee. All of the stylists are very professional and inviting. Every time I come in I’m greeted by first name. This salon feels like my home away from home.

Jessica Morris Brought my daughter in for some highlights and a trim. Autumn was fantastic!! My daughter left super happy and is already excited to go back. Salon was really clean and priced exceptionally well.

Joanne Barry I had the pleasure of having Gina cut and style my hair last weekend. I had never been to this salon before, but thought I would take the chance, and I am so glad I did!!! GIna understood that I wanted something a bit different, but nothing too drastic. She gave me a beautiful cut, one that changed the style in a subtle way and is also easy for me to handle myself!!! Gina was so personable and took great care to make sure the cut would be something I would like and be able to care for. The salon itself is beautiful and convenient, and the price was right!!! I will return!!!

June Krahn Recently moved to the area and was looking for a great salon for my hair. Having very long thick blonde hair can be a challenge. Tony knocked it out of the park!! He has many years of service and clearly knows exactly what he is doing. I would highly recommend his services. Beautiful clean friendly salon.

M7 Triple6 HORRIBLE HORRIBLE hairdressers who had NO time to answer my 30 seconds of questions about highlights upon walking in. BOTH ladies VERY rude and treated me as if I was an inconvenience. I told them I was taking my money elsewhere, which is sad for them Im a huge tipper. They could have made rent doing my hair. Rudeness and 30 seconds of time? Their loss! Dont bother with this hole.

Linda Engstrom I got the most perfect haircut Friday. My hair was damaged from a recent surgery and anesthesia. She carefully cut off the damage and thinned what she couldnt cut to get more out. Everything about the haircut was perfect and she spent a lot of time getting it that way. My hair now frames my face again and I am so grateful. Angela Joy is a pleasure and her little dog Ringo sits next to her chair and protects us from strangers. So cute! Then came the price. I wont tell you but it is not the $65.00 I paid a month ago for a terrible haircut. You have to go see for yourself!
