Sarah Van Trees Lori is a TRUE master hair artist. I was so impressed: with the beauty of her salon, with her ideas and methods in cutting my hair, in talking with her as a person and how she listened to me. She truly gave me the best haircut I have ever had in that I am actually loving my hair and the way it naturally looks (and I am a minimal gal, no blow drying or styling for me). Weeks after she cut my hair, it still looks great. Her prices are fair, and she is kind. I recommend her wholeheartedly--but dont make her so busy that she cant still make an appointment for me in the future!! ;)

Marie M This was my first time there and Lori was phenomenal. Walked in looking awful walked out looking and feeling fabulous. She is such a great hairstylist I would recommend her to everybody. So happy I went to her today!!!

Luke Sherwood I was in need of a men’s haircut, and Lori and her team are the absolute best! Lori understood exactly what I needed from the moment I sat in her chair, and her range of experience is clear in her work. The salon’s atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and considering Lori’s skill and professionalism, the price for a men’s cut was more than reasonable. I’m excited to say I’ve found my go-to stylist! Kristin Hall Lori knows curls! I was searching for someone to help get my curls back into shape after years of bleaching and extensions, and she came highly recommended. Lori was super nice, and I appreciated that she explained what she was doing as she went. She was also very easy to talk to. The salon is super cute, the chairs are comfy, and the shampoo bowls/chairs are tall girl approved (iykyk). My hair looks and feels amazing. Very happy to have found this place.

Gena Green I’ve been a client of the Owner, Lori Kratofil for over 20 years she is hands down the best Tallahassee has to offer! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with mine or my family’s hair! If you want the best you go to the BEST! Pure magic!

Darlene Mitchell I love this place. Rocky is an amazing person and stylist. He puts up with me changing my hair everytime I go and talking him into a coma. Hes also a great colorist. I love Exclusive because of Rocky. I must admit Ive never tried one of the other stylists, but I followed Rocky from his previous salon. The salon is cute, cozy and clean.

Soni Greer Recently remodeled to look upscale and inviting. New management obviously invested in success. My stylist, Robin, is a wiz with color, does a great cut, and really works to see her clients leave happy and looking good.

Sarah Ferry I cannot say enough good things about Caroline and this salon! There was a mix up at my first scheduled appointment about the service they thought I was wanting they thought it was a gray touch up and not blonde so the stylist I was scheduled with was very honest about telling me she didn’t want to do the service because it isn’t her specialty and did not want me to be dissatisfied with my hair. I drove an hour to be there but I did not care because many times people have not been honest about their ability to do my hair and I’ve left very disappointed so I respect the girls honesty! They scheduled me the next day with Caroline and let me tell you, I have never loved my hair more. No one seems to ever be able to get the blend correct or the tone when I go in for on scalp bleach retouch but she absolutely worked magic!!! I was only in the area for a short time or I would be there every month for my touch up. The salon is also beautiful and the service was well worth the money.

Sarah Kathryn Brewer I had an amazing experience at the salon with Carson! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and offered great suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. The results were fantastic—my hair has never looked this good! The cut and color were spot on, and the attention to detail was impressive. I left feeling confident and refreshed. Even through the growing out stage and going past a missed appointment, my hair has always, in the 15 years I’ve been her client, looked amazing. Sara Beth is a very talented stylist and a sweet person all around.

Victoria Henderson A new client with a life long traumatic history of trying a different stylist every few years, but even my husband had a good feeling about the consult when I told him about it. McKenzie was the absolute best ever. She talked to me when I was nervous and was wonderfully personable throughout my whopping 7 hour long appointment. Her ability to take a hot mess of dry and over processed hair, then turn it into what I walked out with. Beyond pleased, so excited to have a talented stylist I trust that is also looking forward to the project that is my hair. My entire family was just as happy as I was with how it all turned out.

Maya Rosario Brelan was amazing! I went in with my naturally dark hair, hoping to go honey blonde, but I was nervous about damaging my hair. She was so knowledgeable and professional, and she explained everything she was doing, which made me feel much more comfortable. I’m so happy with how it turned out and would 100% recommend her! My hair looks exactly how I wanted it to and still feels very healthy.

sham Do NOT recommend this salon. I paid $350 for a color service that was nothing like the reference photos I showed them. I asked for a lighter blonde shade and left with my hair darker than before and damaged. They never told me it would take multiple sessions to achieve the look I wanted—I only found that out after they had already ruined my hair. On top of that, they kept upcharging me throughout the appointment without explaining why. I wasn’t made aware of their no-refund policy until after the service, which meant once they messed up my hair, I had no way of getting my money back. This salon is dishonest and takes no accountability. If you want a place that actually listens to their clients and delivers what they promise, go somewhere else.

Jordan Webster Emma did the most amazing job on my hair! She corrected my blonde and spent HOURS doing so. She educated me throughout the whole process and showed me where my previous work needed corrections. She made me feel like the only girl in the world and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was luxury! She blew out my hair and curled it after. She gave me the best color and style experience I’ve ever had! I will forever be an Emma at Trove girlie! I am so grateful!

jeelan zemo Ashley was super nice and helped me big time with my hair routine products! i got my hair trimmed and got my bangs cut! I love my bangs they are exactly how i wanted them! And she did me a hair treatment leaving my hair super soft and looking healthy!

The Cool 3rd Grade Teacher Johann is phenomenal!!! The best hairstylist on planet Earth! He is inviting and knowledgeable about healthy hair!The entire staff is amazing! Simply the best! I’ve been a loyal customer since 2005.

Gabby F Randa Finley did an amazing job on my color and style. She listens very well and has 20+ years of experience. She is also a curly girl too which I looooved! I got a half blonde half root touch up half (underneath) dark purple for an excellent price. The salon is clean and all of the staff are like family. I even made good conversation with the receptionist, Chloe. All around good atmosphere, prices, and services.

Nanette Barber I have been using Shannon at Salon IQ for several years. I am very particular about my color and only use Goldwell which they offer. Shannon works with me considering my likes and dislikes. She takes her work very seriously and is very professional. . She does a great job and is a pleasure to spend time with.

Sarah Berner This place is clean, bright, and welcoming. Jordan gives an amazing haircut and Brandi is great for manicures. I like that they sanitize all of their manicure tools before reuse, and they dont reuse anything that cant be sanitized. They also offer "5 free" Zoya nail products.

Savannah Having to find a new salon is usually a hard choice, but 850 has made it so easy! I have seen two different stylists so far, Mel and Sarah, and they were both so amazing!! My wants were heard, and executed, with such professionalism and expertise. I couldn’t recommend the both of them enough!! The ladies working the front desk have always been attentive, responsive, and so kind. The atmosphere at 850 can’t be found anywhere else.

S M .CHELSEA salon never disappoints I had an appointment with Belinda today! Ive cut my hair once in 5 years it was a mess I was ready for a big transition. She walked me through options she was even able to show me kind of what things would look like. Shes very good with hair. And she was very knowledgeable.. I changed how I wanted things two or three different times she was very patient she understood and she gave me a great haircut. They provide such great service at Chelsea thanks again

Whitney Miller My sister in law hired Amanda Bruce to do our hair for her wedding. I just want to start by saying that I have been in a few weddings and am usually underwhelmed or my hair falls before the wedding even starts. I was the second girl to get her hair curled at 10AM and my hair looked exactly the same at 5PM. I also want to mention that my hair was 2 days old and straightened and Amanda assured me that my hair wouldn’t fall because of the products she had. I never felt more beautiful! She is beyond talented. I’m going to add the group photo of all the bridesmaids to show her work.

I’ve had my fair share of uneven and choppy cuts from other places, but Steve just gets it. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and the results are always spot-on. Renee Cannon I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure one week ago. Typically Mani and Pedi lasts at least 3 weeks. The only reason I am giving the service 2 Stars is because the foot massage was good. It should be noted that gel is expensive and if you dont want to do gel...state that on your website.

Sheila at the front desk is great to work with to get appointments to match my schedule and my preferences. Meena does my nails just the way I want.
