Bethany Hawkesworth I got my hair cut and colored at this salon, the color I asked for was not what was applied to my hair. The stylist asked if I could return a week later to correct the color issue (for free). After I left the 2nd time my hair was better than the first time but still not what I asked for (I did show photos of what I wanted, which was an old photo of myself). It has been 8 months since I got my hair done at Bella Demore and the damage from coloring is still something I am trying to correct. I have been getting it cut every 2 months and have not applied anymore color to it and my hair is still so damaged from this experience.

bre aida is a sweetheart! she did a lovely job cutting my thick curly hair. she layered it and made it beautiful again ! look at the before and after ! my haircut would’ve been $50, but because she didn’t blow dry it (because of my curly hair), it was only $35. she washed, cut, and styled my hair :) I will definitely be returning :D

Lisa Diane Had my first cut with the talented Amanda! Love the style but have to admit a little disappointed that I was booked for the wrong color service, was late (my own fault), and to find out while the building is wheelchair accessible the salon itself really isn’t. She honored my gift certificate but couldn’t provide more than a cut since her wash basins are not wheelchair accessible. I will come back for cuts, just still searching for a colorist.

Ashley DeBenedetto I was trying to schedule a bridal preview since this salon came recommended by my coordinator. However, when talking on the phone with Debbie once I said I did not want to commit to hiring them for my wedding day until after my trial, she was extremely unhelpful with trying to help me find a day to come in and basically told me that there was no availability and the trials are only done at night which is fine, but the days I asked about she told me were unavailable for the next 3 months. So don’t waste your time looking for bridal trials here, ladies.

Audrey Hatcher I had such a great experience at Benefit! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The salon has a charming and clean atmosphere that made my visit even more enjoyable. My stylist Taylor was not only incredibly friendly but also very skilled and knowledgeable in her craft. She took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. I’m so happy with how my hair turned out and will definitely be coming back!

Rose Leggore The first time was a good experience as I wanted to go grey gradually and my hair looked great when T was done that first appointment. I scheduled another appointment to continue with my color transitioning. At the second appointment I noticed T left the processor or whatever it’s called on my hair much longer then seemed to be panicking when she was rinsing it out of my hair. I didn’t know what was going on and she said nothing. When I got home I began to look at my hair and wondered why she cut it so poorly in the back. It didn’t take me long to figure out my hair had been fried when it began falling out by the handfuls. I was scared it would all fall out at the rate it was going. After about 2 weeks or so it stopped falling out. My once beautiful thick hair was reduced to thin and rather wispy. I decided to let it go to see if it would grow back which at my age I didn’t think it would. I didn’t want to cause problems for T so I just sucked up the $250-300 for that appointment and swallow my pride. For years I cut and died my own hair but just wanted to do the professional route first the first time n many many years. I learned a hard lesson, I am afraid to ever have anything done to my hair again. Thankfully my hair is normal again, grey, not a pretty grey but it will have to do. By now I am sure T has much more experience and does great work and learned to be more honest.

I loved my natural hair but it only seemed to look cute when it was wet or loaded down with product. My curls are more relaxed and happy with Katiuska Hair Care products. When I attempt to go back to old and cheaper products, my hair does not feel the same. As I am growing to love and value myself more, the products and services I use are now in more alignment with my self value. As a result, I refuse to disrespect my hair any longer by using anything other than Katiuska Hair Care Line. She has truly been a blessing to me personally and my hair! Raquel E. I went to Katiuskas salon for the first time & found her to be a knowledgeable professional that is very customer oriented. She not only explains the recommendations that she gives, but she provides the rationale for those recommendations. She demonstrates how you can maintain your hairstyle at home & even shows you how to go to her "You Tube" video demos so you can have a visual reminder of what to do at home. She has also developed her own product line that is absolutely fabulous!! The salon is well equipped with all of the professional tools & products that are needed for a full service salon. Hygienic protocols are in place at all times for client safety. I was so pleased with how my hair turned out that I have already made 3 future appointments!

Christine Williams Stewart I highly recommend Ambiance Studio Salon because of the fabulous job Ellen has done growing out my hair over the past few years. It is now healthy, and I love the more natural color and style. In addition, Ellen and Jessica created the most incredible extension look with custom purple dye to match the colors for my birthday party! It was absolutely gorgeous, the colors were perfect (I didnt even know Ellen had purple dye and she nailed it), and Jessica placed the extensions so quickly and accurately we barely had time to catch up. This salon is professional, responsive to their clients needs, and creative. I use their flyaway smoothing and hair mask products as well. They are the best!

Jordan Ambiance Studio Salon is hands down the best salon I’ve ever been to have my hair done. I’ve been seeing Laura, sometimes Ellen for years now and they are both know my hair so well. Anytime I’ve had an idea or a photo, they get it exactly right. I have thick, curly, unmanageable hair that I have never been able to do anything with, but they are true experts. I’ll never go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and stop by to make an appointment, the salon is warm and welcoming.

Their location is great, along with parking space; they are located 5 minutes from the Leesburg mall, a wide range and variety of restaurants to choose from and are next door to a Walgreens. When you walk in the door, you immediately relax, as the atmosphere permeates joy, peace, laughter, and fun! All the while remaining very professional; working with each client to obtain their perfect unique style. It is always clean, and orderly each time I walk in. And, they can accommodate special needs, within their professional standards and limitations. It serves all age groups (as far as my information goes....best to call on that question); all hair types are styled, as well. All the stylists are great, as well as one of the owners Ive met, Mr. Phillips. But, for over 20 years, Mrs. Bobbie, has been our stylist; she aims to please, and achieves 100% on that!!! Anthony Resto Apparently, the barber named Anthony is award winning. I went in for a fade, and my son got a cut as well. He was super quick, professional, and precise. I had a hard time finding a barber in this area to give me a haircut like back on Jersey. This guy is on point. Im definitely going back every 2 weeks. He also had colored spray for my sons hair. My wife was impressed.

Aylia Hill Really not impressed. Brought a 2 year old to get superglue cut out of his hair and let the barber know that was the main reason for the haircut and he continued to cut around it and pull his hair to brush/come trim with the razor for 30 minutes until we felt that it was still there. Guy clearly is not good with toddlers and I wish he would have just said so instead of putting him through an unnecessarily traumatic haircut as he’s NEVER had issues in the past with them. Owner seemed more with it and tried to give the barber a chance to handle his own business but at the young impressionable 2 year old’s expense. I won’t be back. Good atmosphere for and young boy to have the barber experience though. What a shame.

Roadside Channel Super easy to book an appointment online. I had a friend visiting me and asked where he could get a haircut. A coupon for a $7.99 haircut had come in the mail a day earlier, so the choice was obvious. I booked the appointment online and showed up at the designated time, super easy. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Erica Cole Ive been going to Hair Cuttery for 20 plus years. Sarah has been my stylist for the last 6 or so years. She always does an amazing job. She chose my peekaboo colors cause I couldnt decide. I love my summer colors. It looks fantastic.

Haley Unwin I read some of the reviews below me and realized I had the same experience. Noivia cut my daughter’s hair. I am happy with the cut she received. But the lady made me out to be like a horrible person. She proceeded to tell my daughter that her hair was going to fall out because I don’t use the expensive soap. She also told me that I’m going to give my daughter cancer and when we left my daughter said she was feeling very sad and scared because of what the lady said. This is very unprofessional and I’m not saying I shouldn’t use better soap but you cannot make a mother and a child feel this way and very sad when you child leaves and said she heard everything that was said. Including the lady shaking her head and finger at me the whole time. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time and my daughter should never have to experience that or feel that way. We have been in before and had a good experience. But we do not plan on returning after how we felt.

Brittini Gifford Did a same day appointment booking and Nolvia was awesome! She was working one client right after the other but never made my cut or dry feel rushed. I have long, thick hair and she cut and styled what I asked for beautifully, you can tell she paid attention to how my hair would flow. I was happy to wait past my appointment time knowing I booked same day. Im not a talker when getting a service done and she picked up on that and just let me just sit and enjoy. Craig A Waited 35 minutes for a booked appt. Gave up and went grocery shopping. After shopping I saw the woman leaving who was with my stylist. She left 50 minutes after I checked in. I understand things happen but when hair cuttery expects us to book online, the least they can do is text us when they are running late so we dont waste our precious time waiting to spend money on their services. When I told one of the hair stylist I was leaving and cancel my appt, her reply- oh, ok. Wasnt impressed and never got the pampering the text confirmation boasted.Not once did any stylist comecover and givecme an update. Not mad, just dissapointed. Service levels are not what they use to be.

Brenda Craven I have been going here since they opened. Ben was always there, and very polite, and made sure you had what you needed. Ben is no longer in the salon, and you can definitely tell. A month ago I had a pedicure by a lady who spoke no English or understood it either. Not a problem until she cut my skin with the cuticle clippers. She put antiseptic on it, but it blead for a while. Ok, accidents happen. Flash forward. Two weeks ago, I came un and again got the same lady. This time on the same foot, my left, she ran the rough file across my 3rd and 4th toe and tore the skin off!!!!! Then proceeded to put some kind of lotion that softens your heals on them. I felt like my toes had a hot match on them. I spoke to Kim afterwards, showed her my hurt toes, all she said was ok ok. No sorry nothing! A few days later I went bk in and spoke to Kim again to show what my toes looked like after a few days. Again, ok ok we not give you her no more. NO APOLOGIES! I will not be going back anymore. Photo of my toes. No polish is the day it happened, close up is a few days later, and the other is two wks later

Dara Hanzel the overall experience was pretty nice. the nails came out very pretty just not as expected. there wasn’t really any communication other than saying hi, choosing color, and saying thanks and goodbye. she was super gentle and careful, like if she made a small mistake she would remove it and start over. i asked her for a little bit of length but she just put the powder dip directly onto my nail and added no length whatsoever.

Smith Karen (#notthatKaren) Stopped in as a walk-in yesterday to get gel nails re-done for me and a haircut for my wife. Kim took care of us and did a fantastic job on both hair and nails. My wife is EXTREMELY picky about her hair and she was delighted when it came out exactly like she wanted. I had a bad experience with another salon and needed my gel nails completely re-done. Kim very patiently removed the old gel, being careful not to damage my natural nails and then applied the new gel meticulously. I am very happy with the results and will be glad to make this my new salon.

Faith H I got acrylic nails at the salon across the street and they did such a horrible job but Michelle was able to fix my nails!!!! The salon was clean and beautiful. Michelle was extremely helpful and made my dream wedding nails come to life thank you so much!!

g dierwechter This place was so disappointing. I would have gone to my normal place but they are closed on Sundays. With this place having 4.5 stars I was okay with trying it. I walked in the door and asked for dip and tips. The light skin lady rolled her eyes at me. That’s my first impression. I sit down with another tech and she put the tips on. She asked me how long I wanted and I asked her to cut longer as we can always go shorter. She cut them to the end of my finger. I told her it was shorter than I wanted. She starts asking me what shape I wanted so I told her I wanted almond. She filed it coffin. I asked her to found them out and she was like they are round. I told her no. You have argued with me since I sat down. I would like to leave. I should not have to argue with someone on what I want. With tips still on, she told me I can leave. I said no please take off the tips. She just cut them down. My first visit and first impression was that they were so rude and argumentative. I do not recommend for anyone wanting to find a new nail salon.

Melody Welch One of the stylists will totally ignore your requests and do what she wants. What I got was exactly what I didnt want. I wear a scarf or hat in public. Ashton, on the other hand, will do a fantastic job. Definitely should have waited for her. I just did not think that anyone would do this, and was in a rush. Dont bother to offer a free cut. There is nothing left to work with.

Janielle Malatino I would rate this business lower if it were at all possible... I wasnt going to come write a bad review but the owner has now called my daughter and wrote a horrible mean email to her as well ( because my daughter did leave a bad review) and why wouldnt she... She spent her entire birthday in the salon because she wanted highlights... It was so horrible after the first attempt she tired over and over and it got worse and worse. She left with a chemical burn on her scalp... A horrible, embarrassing dye job. We had to go to another salon and the chemical burns were so bad the new stylist had her wait a week before we could fix it. Photos are below of how she left after all the attempts to fix it.

Linda Kibbe I was referred to Fantastic Sam’s by my husband. He only goes there on Sundays because he likes the way one certain stylist does his hair. I went and had a cut and highlights done. The woman who did my hair was kind, friendly and had years of experience. Turns out she was the stylist who does my husband’s hair. Her name was Ginny (I hope, I have a hard time hearing). She did a wonderful job and will certainly get my business again.
