I’m from CA and always used the best UCLA Doctors. None gave us the care of Dr Desamour. Her intelligence and knowledge of her specialty of family practice along with being an Internist shows. It pays to go to the best and I know we have found that right here in Inverness.

Maria Barbantini New to this clinic as of January 2024. I cannot say enough good and positive things about the staff. Dr. Desamour is extremely competent, providing very comprehensive care. She is a wonderful communicator and actual listens to you and your concerns. Her oversight and diagnosis has always been spot on. The support staff is very friendly and have always treated me with respect, show genuine concern, and determined to resolve any issues especially whe. Michelle Davis Vivian, Necole, and Linda were wonderful. Vivian brought me back, for my procedure, and what a ray of sunshine she was. She made me feel so comfortable. Linda was very nice and inserted my IV on the first try. Necole was friendly, efficient, and awesome as well. They worked together like a very well oiled machine. Although I know the process, as I have had this procedure several times, I do wish the anesthesiologist would have told me when he was putting me under. I could feel it coming but he never said anything. I have never had an anesthesiologist NOT tell me when they were getting ready to put me under. Other than that, the entire staff was wonderful. Even the lady who checked me in. I apologize I do not recall her name. She has been there for years and is very quick and efficient. From start to finish, I was in and out out of the facility within an hour and a half. Thank you all, you are a wonderful crew.

This is in addition to the individual five star rating I give to Dr. Carmine and the traveling PA at the time being seen in January 04. This is personally my unbiased, honest assessment and review.

Bill Bloom Sr The office staff was very friendly and helpful. They were also very professional and caring. Dr Carmain was fantastic and very thorough. He explained everything that he was going to do and was very gentle when taking my biopsy. Hes very concerned about the health of his patients. I would highly recommend this facility to everyone and especially Dr Carmain.

Emma Clark There was little to no wait time from sign in to getting called back. Dr Rojas took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He and his staff were very kind, courteous and helpful. I also liked that I could get bloodwork, testing done here in office. They have the patient in mind from start to finish. I was impressed that he offered to use a mail order pharmacy for considerable savings and also suggested an alternative prescription such as a dissolving tablet when I mentioned how messy and difficult the application of the cream was. Andrew Preuss Long story short, Dr. Otto after a surgery apparently does not know what an infection looks like. I went in with a fever he gave me a script for antibiotics and said see him in two weeks. The next day I went to the ER they took a cat scan. I had two pockets of infection. Every Dr. looked at the surgical incision and knew it was serious. They Took a culture and found two nasty bacteria water born. Dr Royalty cleaned them out and saved my life. So Dr. Otto’s advice come back in two weeks would have killed me… so think twice about going to a Doc that can’t recognize a serious infection… Good luck!

Sandra Gioia Finally, Doctors who listen and think out of the box. Their system is set up to facilitate the patient in an expedient and efficient manner. The entire staff is on top of their game offering complete and comprehensive care. Theyre always pleasant, sincere and professional. When i had my labs drawn, I explained I was a tough stick. Every nurse or phlebotomist has a terrible time getting a good stick and flow from me. This nurse was a one stick wonder and absolutely painless. The most comfortable blood draw Ive ever had. I am a relatively new pt and I am so glad I found Ped IM. Im staying right here!

D O I cannot say enough positive things about the services I have received from Dr. Martinez. She is thorough and detail oriented, which I appreciate, and she takes the time to explain everything as she works through your issues/symptoms. She has an excellent sense of humor also, which creates a relaxing environment for the patient. Having relocated to this area recently, I was worried about finding an internal medicine Dr that was at least as dedicated as my previous doctor. Well, I have to say, she even blew that one away, and I had that doctor for 25 yrs! So listen up PedIM mgmt- you have a good one there- dont let her get away!!

Feleshia Marie My family have been patients of PedIM since they came to the Lecanto area. They have a beautiful new location in Inverness that my most recent appointment took place. I was taken back within 15 mins of my appointment time. I saw Katrina Muench, and she entered the room less than 15 mins of the medical assistant leaving. She was extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be seeing this provider at this location for future appointments.

Linda Brown The only complaint I have is that if your appt is at 10:30 in the morning and you don’t get hooked up until after noon for your infusion there’s a problem somewhere. I know it has to be made by the prarmacy and double checked by 2different people for safety reasons, but if they know your appt is at a certain time why isn’t it waiting for the patient. Why do they start all that after the patient gets there . It makes no sense. If the patient doesn’t show up at the institute there still getting paid. It’s in the paper work you get when you start going there. If you don’t cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance you get charged. You have a lot of good people that work there in the room where they give you the chemo, infusers, blood and what ever else they give , but you got some that work there rhat act like there going you a favor got helping you. Kudos out to the male nurse that works there . He’s terrific and really cares about his patients

Edwina Daiuto A new doctor makes me uneasy. To make matters worse, I was also going to a new site because Crystal River closed. My appointment was on time. The staff was great . Dr.Zhang made me feel very comfortable. He was very thorough as well. I was very happy to discover that I just might have a very competent professional.

Gypsy White Dr. Kim was very rude, unprofessional and well unprepared for our appointment. He obviously did not even look at the paperwork before coming into the room. The nurse had to come into the room twice to show him he had the paperwork in hand that he was telling us we did not fill out. He also visibly got upset because of a scan he said he did not have but after the third time looking through the paperwork in his hand he found it. Our actual consultation time with him personally was about 3 minutes long. There was other things to but Im afraid if I say too much this review will be taken down. I dont see how he has so many 5 star ratings honestly.

Dave Miller Dr. Kim more than saved my life .He improved my overall mental and physical health. If a family member neded his services, I would not let them go anyplqce else. 2 weeks a 3 days ago I had open heart with an artclip and 3 bypasses. I feel wonderful in less than 3 weeks. Ryan David I just finished my last hyperbaric oxygen treatment today. The staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable. Krista was in charge of all my treatments and she was the best!! Adrianne Hess I just want to thank the staff for making my 30 days of treatment so enjoyable. Krista, Nick, Nicole and Betty were so nice. I felt like I was a member of a family. I have to admit that I was scared at first due to the reason I was there. See, I had cancer in a saliva gland and had radiation to destroy it. It also ruined my teeth. I had to get them extracted which required my HBO treatments. Just before it started, my insurance was cancelled due to no fault of my own, then it was reinstated and then changed a third time. Nicole worked hard to get my treatments reauthorized. Most places make you get things straightened out, but not her....Thank you Nicole! Krista was my main tech, she put me at ease and was wonderful the talks we had. She would even find me feel good movies when I needed them. I normally listened to meditation music. Nick was the other tech that would fill in when Krista would have to be somewhere else. He is good at picking movies. I have nothing bad to say about my experience and would recommend anyone to use them!

Brenda morris I can’t even put into words how wonderful Dr. Patel was. He preformed surgery on Friday on my stomach. It went great. But here’s the thing. I have put up with this horrible pain because another surgeon (not in Inverness) told me it was to dangerous to do that I had a 80% chance of not living though it. I would be on a vent and nasal gastric tube in ICU and a wound vac for 9 months if I survived it. So I put it off till the pain was so intense I couldn’t take it. Then I met my hero Dr. Patel. I will never be able to thank him for what he did for me he did it laparoscopic and I came home the Same day. Thanks to you and your whole staff for being the best in Citrus county. If I could put this in the paper or on the radio I would do so!! I will never be able to thank him enough. Brenda Morris

Jean Turner Totally positive experience. Staff are kind and caring. Dr. Jacoby explained everything from what happened to necessitate surgery, what to expect following surgery and plus post-op care. Though we hope never to need their services again, if it happens that is who we want to care for us. Once again my hubby was in need of a surgeon and we returned to this practice to see Dr. Parth Patel. So impressed. Took a considerable amount of time explaining procedure, recuperation, what to expect. Such a nice man and excellent doctor. Staff is so kind and welcoming. I cannot express how comforting to know Dr. Patel will be here for us if future problems arise. Update:. Both Drs Jacoby and Patel have left this practice. I will search high and low to locate Dr. Patel. Our not so Golden Years require we have a surgeon at our access.

Spoke with the office, I was told that if I brought my CT scan into the office the Doctor would review it and be sure that they could do the procedure, (drainage of a cyst) on the day of my appointment. I drove there that day and dropped off the CT, I had an appointment for the following week. The morning of the appointment I received a phone call from Mary Lou saying my appointment is cancelled they cant help me, doctor finally looked at my CT, he thinks its a Tumor and Ill need to go to another Doctor. Wasted an entire week, the "tumor" has since doubled in size, I am in pain and I am now having trouble breathing. They refused to even help me find another doctor and refer me, to hopefully speed this process up. They dont care about people at all. No professionalism with this group.

Linda Ramos Florida Cancer places very nice good people working there. I love my nurse. Her name is McDonald. She is a very good doctor. She listens and she search for everything. I tell her I like doctors like that when you tell them what’s wrong cause this is my body and they know my but I know my body And she takes good care of me. God bless her. I love her to death. kris donaldson Check in is quick. Wait time is minimal. Easy in easy out. I did have to wait one time because of an emergency. I had been seeing Dr. Zahn who I loved his expertise and knowledge. He was always professional and respectful of my concerns. I now see Julie APRN who is also very knowledgeable and professional. Easy to talk with and very personable. The office personnel are friendly and easy to speak with.

Susan Moore 20 years ago my husband was treated by Dr. Dela Cruz. He has retired now but I am very happy with the people who are helping me now. When I had to get infusions to treat my bone density I knew there was only one place to go. While I don’t have cancer I do appreciate all they do for me and for those on the journey my husband took in 2004. We had 14 wonderful years because Florida Cancer Center was an important part of his treatment for stage 4 colon cancer. For anyone needing treatment from bone density issues to cancer there is no need to fear.

Ruth Ann Eller-Belote They told me to be there at 1:15. When I got there they said we have you at 2:15. Granted this could have been my error. They pulled me in for blood draw a little after the appointment time and sent be back to the waiting room. At 20 after 3 I asked how much longer until the NP would be able to see me. I was told there was one person ahead of me. I had changed to the NP because the doctor I saw last time was very inappropriate. I walked out at 3:55. Will not go back to this office for any reason.

David Ferguson We were there for my wifes lab work before her visit with her doctor. My wife has memory issues and is stressed during medical visits. The staff was fantastic and found ways to distract her from her fears. We couldnt have asked for better experience.

Norm Carter Met with Candace, she was very helpful asking questions about my health issues and providing a good plan moving forward. She made a plan for follow up visit. The staff and nurses were great and showed great understanding and caring.

mallory denisen My son had a routine checkup to which he happened to be sick for. The doctor only tested him for flu, that’s it. My son was miserable and had a fever for 2 days straight already. Doctor saw that his throat was red and ordered a medication but told us not to take it for another 3 days and to call in if he gets worse. Next day my son is worse and I’m calling and calling with no answer. The option on the phone said “press number if this is an urgent call” yet NO ONE ANSWERED. We dealt with the pain and suffering one more day waiting for answers and decided it was time to go to a walk in clinic. They diagnosed my son with strep throat within 2 minutes and prescribed the right medication. He was fine an hour later. This should have been dealt with by our pediatrician immediately. Instead we went an extra two days with fever and pain. I will not be going back for the simple fact that if you ever have questions/concerns, there is no one to take your call EVER.

Stephanie Thomas The office ladies were helpful and efficient. The nurse was very friendly and detailed.I sat in exam room for 1 hour. When the Dr entered she ask Why are you here? No hello, no introduction, no sorry for the wait. DR Burgess was rude, cold, an uninformed ( or educated). Went for pain in leg, she told me it was probably soft tissue issue. Although she never got within 4 feet of me. How do you examine a patient from a distance? I asked if the ultrasound she ordered would show tendon or ligaments. She replied no, its soft tissue?! I like the practice but I will never let this person see me again.

Roger Adamson This is the best Doctors office I have ever been to. Starting with the awesome front staff ladies to the Doctor or Nurses visit, best experience ever. The ladies up front are kind, considerate and very professional. They make sure you are fully taken care of before and after your appointment. Dr Cruz is amazing, she is friendly, fun and really makes me feel comfortable discussing anything. If you are looking for a new Doctor or just need top notch medical care, this is the place. Just awesome!!

Linda Myers This was our first appointment to the office. My husband and I were very happy with everyone there. He said he liked his doctor and I liked mine. They were not rushed. They took time and asked questions. It was very nice.

Janice Hebel This the third visit that my prescriptions have been called in to Walgreens wrong. I continually have to call back to the office to straighten out misses scripts. This last time my prescription for Pyridostigmine 60mg was rented for 270 tablets not the full current amount of 810. They missed my Amlodipine and also my Mycophenolate. This has become very annoying that I have to call everything. So no, I am not satisfied with the service.

Kevin Frazier Cathlen S. Delva, MD and Dr. TAI QUAC are great doctors. I was hospitalized 3 1/2 months because of my A1C was high. After being release from the hospital I book an appointment with them. I walk into their office with my A1C being 12.6, after 3 1/2 they got is down to 7.8, what a remarkable job that was done in a short time. Golden I wish I could leave no stars at all. Worst doctor’s office ever and I feel like are very money hungry. It is ridiculous they fight me every time I try to get my prescription I’ve been getting since I was going to my pediatrician, and tell me I need to come in for appointment after appointment just to get BIRTH CONTROL. Terrible place would not even recommend to people I don’t like.

Deanna Freet Langley Health Services in Sumterville Florida is a great. Very professional Doctors and staff. Very refreshing compared to most hospitals and clinics. Dr Espinoza is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever seen.

Twitching Skittles Xray report says there is damage to a spine and found abnormalities and defects. But the doctor says that there is nothing significant and downplays the amount of debilitating and daily pain. He recommends physical therapy, but then says he thought people just wanted it for "free exercise and sports." He just doesnt care about his patients. I wouldnt recommend Dr. Ghazi.
