Jenna Faour my nails looks nice to glance at them but the overall quality is very poor. The edges near my cuticles did not get any product and is peeling. I would return to have them re done but I do not have time. This is unfortunate and I will not be back. See photo for reference , I got them done yesterday!!

Carol Sidor Had no chip manicure nails have lumps and bumps. Cuticles horribly done . Very Rushed job!!! Manicure was done while your pedicure was being done, would ask a question no one would answer you !! No chip polish came off of one finger the next day . Look at the work carefully before you walk out that door !!!

Down Hizzouse “Hizzy” Ups and downs. Great people, friendly, hard-working and take their time, they have a lot of polish options and can do designs, but everytime I go here, my nails only last a day, sometime 2. I got gel manicure, and the next day, the gel was lifting on multiple fingers.

Joel Castellanos My mother went to this nail salon about a week and half ago where she got her nails done. After a few days, she noticed that one of her nails was causing her pain and discomfort. The days went on when she realized that her natural nail was peeling off her skin (hyponychium). Research revealed that it was a fungus infection contracted through unsanitary salon equipment. My mother went to the salon to try address the issue but the business owner appeared to not care one bit and stated that she had hit her nail really hard and that she probably did not remember. I’m pretty sure a grown adult would remember if they jammed their own finger… But oh well, my recommendation would be to stay away from this place if you don’t want your nails to fall out… Also, her acrylic nails started to separate shortly after… My mother has been getting her nails done for 27 years and this had never happened to her. Go elsewhere in my opinion.

payton shinall July 19th, i went in with my mother to get my nails done. i needed a whole new set and acrylic. my mother and i were the only two in there. from the start as a sat down the young lady that was doing my nails was very rude. i asked for coffin and a very simple design. i also asked if they could file them shorter and she flat out refused. afterwards my nails were all different sizes and done very sloppy. just two days later i have 3 nails missing and the rest of them are lifting. i will not be going back

Tahlia Mudzimurema both dan and hannah are amazing! i love to get nails with lots of designs on them and i’ve never been disappointed, they nail it every time. they make jokes and are super customer friendly. i definitely recommend!

Morgan Updated with more pics 7/20 .. Ive been here 3x now and his work lasts! It far exceeds any other tech Ive ever been to!! Also, once again, the man who does pedis gives the BEST leg massage! Original review: 1st time here and Ill definitely be back.. Ive been to about 40 nail salons in Pinellas county over the past 9 years, (trying to find my home and having to keep looking due to inconsistencies, poor work, salons closing, amongst other things,) and this, by far has been my best experience in a LONG time! From the laid back atmosphere, Dans demeanor, and of course his talent! A++ All has topped any place Ive been in over a year!! I highly recommend this business for nails and pedis!! And cant wait to come back!! The real test will be how well they hold up in my line of work, but Im confident I wont have a problem! (Ill update if I do though!!) The massage from the man who did my pedicure was on point as well!

Emily Dan and his family are AMAZING. I won’t go anywhere else to have my nails done. Dan and his wife feel like my friends, and they can do literally anything you could possibly want for your nails. I can just tell them that I want a certain theme, and they deliver the best results, or I can say I want something specific, and they give me exactly what I want. I’ve seen so many people getting beautiful nails from the basic trends to elaborate and detailed sets. They’ve got the supplies and talent to give you whatever you want. Dan and his wife are hilarious and enjoyable. I always have a great time when I get my nails done here, and I am never disappointed. I’m so happy I found this salon!

I’ve also had regular gel polish done and gel x which were all done phenomenally as well! Christina really takes her time and is up for any nail art challenge! Shannon Lavenia There are no words for how bad this place is. My teen daughter was so excited to be gifted nails for her birthday. They did a HORRIBLE job. Super thick, bad shape, torn up cuticles and painful. I’m seriously shocked at just how little skill or care they had. My daughter regularly gets her nails done so we know how they SHOULD look. She has dainty hands and these nails are practically gloves on. They weren’t even filed smooth. They ran the electric file over her cuticles and cut her multiple times and then, instead of cleaning off the excess polish with remover, filed it off. She tried communicating to the nail tech and was ignored. I’m taking her to a different place to get them completely removed.

Debora Sousa I’ve been coming to this place for about 2 years, it’s always hit and miss, but I kept coming back by habit. Last time was absolutely awful, manicure and pedicure $70 and both were very poorly done One of the ladies seems very new, she barely asked me for what I wanted didn’t cut or file of the nails, didn’t buff in between the layers and anytime I’ve tried to express to her that I was not satisfied she ignored it Pedicure was very similar, if I try to express that it wasn’t going as I want, she also ignored it. I thought about going back to complain and even ask for my money back, but usually I don’t even know if they understand what I’m saying so I felt writing a review might give them a chance to translate it, actually understand and maybe try to improve their services because I’m not going back there anymore.

Kathleen Purdy Ive been going here for nearly 10 years and have never been disappointed. Ive had regular mani-pedis, acrylic nails, eyebrow waxing. They always make time for you, even without an appointment and their prices are very reasonable. If I get home and find Ive smudged a nail, I can go right back and theyll correct it for me - no problem. The salon is always very clean and sanitary.

Tammy They have the new owner now when I came to the shop. Also they provide excellent services with cheap price. Also the price for pedicure is only $18, Fill-in $14, but when I do both pedicure and manicure they only charge me for $28. I cant believe it the price is so cheap.

Tierney Bailey First time here. Both the male and female tech took care of me. Read reviews about the gentleman being unfriendly and uneducated. Im here to correct this. Both techs were friendly, hospitable, and attentive to my needs. Had no trouble understanding them. And their prices are exxttreeemeeelllyy reasonable (with great products). This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Clearwater. Also, for the record, ive been getting my nails done in this area for 10+ years. This shop is a rare find.

Jessica Lee I tried to come for a fill (made an appt) and she told me that a nail was lifting that was not. Tried to use a sharp cuticle scissor to cut the acrylic off and cut a gash into my natural nail where I actually pulled away without saying anything cause it hurt. She then said “I can’t work on your mail because you have a crack.” A crack that she just caused!!!! I’ve been getting my nails done for some time. Never experienced such rudeness. I am incredibly disappointed at the treatment and lack of professionalism. Acrylic can be filed and soaked off gently. She didn’t even offer to help or to fix her mistake. It is not supposed to be ripped off because it causes harm to the nail. Nail techs know this and don’t care - they are just looking for money and being lazy. It is disheartening as someone who works in the beauty world in a salon that this goes on. The salon is pretty but empty for a reason ! The photo is what she did and what they looked like before !

Darlene Echevarria This place is good if you are in a rush and need to do your nails asap or are in the area. Don’t come in with great expectations or you will be disappointed yet. Decent for very very basic nails. There were only two staff people but they were nice.

Yessie Rivera I think this salon is very selective about who they take as a client. I stopped by 3 times different times even during slow times and was told that they are “busy” and come back later. I tip well and I am courteous to my nail techs. Only reason why I wanted to go to this salon is because it is close to work. As a customer I did not feel welcome and not sure why I sense some discrimination. But I found a better place. I don’t think they will stay open much longer specially based on reviews. Glad they didn’t take me.

keeli warren It was my first time going here I got a coupon in the mail that is why I tried this place. Madi did my nails, she was very nice but cut me on every single finger to the point I was gushing blood down my finger. My cuticles are wrecked I have Neosporin on all my fingers currently and it’s taking away from my nails because my fingers look butchered. I also had to go back after getting my nails done because I was so rushed black dots were dried into my French full set on three nails and they had to fix them and I got more cut up when returning. Will never go back. Also got a pedicure where it honestly was not good at all she was just rubbing the lotion on my skin no massage… I will pay more and go to my regular place next time for sure.

Maria Fernanda I came in to have a nail fixed that chipped. The set was done at the same location the day before but with different technician. The technician appeared angry and was so rough that I had to ask her to stop. She initially made the right side bleed when tearing off the acrylic to redo it. Did not apologize. Continued to act bothered. She didn’t measure the nail and had to apply more acrylic to extend the length after I pointed it out. She filed and grinded the nail so fast and hard I cried. I came here from the Luxe Cares because it was cheaper. You get what you pay for. The appearance and presentation of the environment of the salon and technicians say a lot. I knew better. I work as a paramedic in Pinellas county and cant imagine getting away hurting someone from careless action.

Jill Key I have cancer so I couldn’t have a lot of scrubbing or cutting done, but she did a wonderful job. I have 3 shorter nails on my right foot because I have lost my toenails from Chemo treatments but she made them look normal. She also smoothed out my fingernails because they had ridges. She did a fantastic job.

The woman who did my nails was soooo good, took her time and I didn’t feel rushed and my toes looked amazing! With gel polish I feel like sometimes they leave space between around the nail bed to not get so close to the skin but she put a beautiful few coats on, full coverage which will be sure to last a few weeks. I highly recommend this salon - friendly, clean and the perfect pedi!

Taylor Brown Absolutely awful. If I could give 0 I would. I came Saturday 9/21 around 2pm with my young niece for her birthday. I don’t live locally but figured it would be fine because I was planning something simple. I wanted a basic fill in, almond shape, black polish. 24 hours later the polish on one nail had a huge bubble that peeled to reveal uncured gel underneath. None of them are the same length or shape either. Can’t wait to get them fixed at my usual salon and will never be back or recommend them to anyone else!

Lindsay Gibbons I needed to get on here and talk about how amazing Amy was today! She took her time, she was very honest, cared very much about her work and made me feel absolutely as comfortable as I could ever be. My nails are exactly how I wanted them which I never have seem to get from any other place. On top of that my pedicure was the best I have ever had! She actually had me fall asleep twice! It was so relaxing and once again she took her time! I cannot recommend her enough… I’ve never found someone I’ve liked so much to actually make appointments with but Amy has changed that! Nevada Delta So when I got my nails done, one of my fingernails started hurting. I didn’t think much of it. couple days later I woke up and my finger was swollen. Turns out, My finger was infected.

Jennifer Amy is hands down the best . I have been biting my nails for 20 years. She is the only person who took her time and made my acrylics nails to perfection. To where I have not bit or took them off for almost 2 months. Shes outgoing and very kind. 10 out of 10 would recommend !

But what impressed me the most was not only the way they treat their customers (there was a regular who’s in a wheelchair that they knew by name and exactly how to best assist her) but also the fact that I went to a bachelorette weekend and walked in heels, went dancing and my polish doesn’t have so much as a chip in it! Solar Nails is under new ownership and the owner has completely remodeled the location. The salon is lovely, the staff is very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Each and every time I have had nothing but a GREAT experience! Today, my pedicurist was Julia. She was absolutely amazing and very thorough. She was extremely gentle and caring while performing the procedure. She educated me on the products being offered, but was not aggressive or pushy with them. Which in itself, I was appreciative. Overall, Everyone in this establishment was very friendly and welcoming. I have always felt very comfortable and assured that I was going to receive a great visit. Maria Avdelas Grab a coffee for this read. I went to get my nails (and toes) done, requested gel polish. The lady at table 4 did my hands. Then, because I was in a wheelchair, was talking about me in Vietnamese to another employee gesturing, IN FRONT OF ME! Wow, ok, but then she pulled out a different (similar color) REGULAR polish and did my toes. I was not pleased, and thought, fine, Ill simply never return. ONE DAY LATER, the polish on my toes was chipping. I call, owner said come in, well take care of it. Great. I go in, same lady was there, more gesturing about me, but finally redid them with gel. I asked if I owed anything, because I know gel is a little more than regular polish and didnt want to be unreasonable. She said $25! Wait a minute, but I paid the other day right(I was expecting to hear around $5, or nothing, since I didnt get what I wanted AND was inconvenienced and mocked)? She claimed that she took off $5. Okaaaay, so basically, I paid $40 for polish on my toes alone. No pedicure, just to be clear. They can have my money for the last time--I do not plan to return there ever, so they lost a repeat customer over this. Also, theyre hygiene practices are a tad... questionable. They will probably never even read this review, no one there really speaks any English. In a nutshell, if you enjoy being talked about in Vietnamese AND being overcharged & inconvenienced, go for it.

Julie Meyer I had the best pedicure of my life at Clearwater Beach nails and spa. This is a family owned business and you can tell that each and every member takes pride in their work. They were so welcoming to myself and my mother. My mom had a special need with a toe that she had injured previously and the mother took such good care of my mom and was really thoughtful and careful of her needs. I had the son and I didn’t share with him at the time, but I have neuropathy from chemotherapy and my feet are very sensitive and he was just naturally so careful with my feet. I didn’t feel any pain and by the end of the pedicure and massage my feet were feeling great for the first time in a really, really long time. They took so much time with my mom and I and gave us so much care and attention. I could not be more grateful for my experience. I wish I lived in town. We will be returning this week for CBD shoulder massages. You can also pay a little bit of money to rent time in one of their excellent massage chairs and I highly recommend.

Hailey Farr My mother and I are always returning here every few weeks to get our toes done and they do amazing! They are always are so friendly and accommodating to us and our family. Very thankful they are right on the beach with a great view of sand-key bridge. The business is family owned and they are all so helpful with each other and customers. Love them!

We were looking for a salon near our hotel and came across Clearwater Beach Nails and Spa. We are so glad we did because the service was amazing. They took their time to ensure everything was perfect and to our liking. The attention to detail and the amount of service they provide was beyond our expectations. We will be visiting them again and will highly recommend them should someone be looking for a great nail and spa.

Liv Me and my sister got there at 3 to get our toes and nails done and they took around 4 hrs to finish everything. The lady who did my nails was very rude. She cut me with the electric file twice, she put gel on my acrylics after i said i just want regular, she left the salon for like 10 minutes in the middle of doing my nails and comes back with groceries. When they finished we left to get food and i was not happy with how they came out at all neither was my sister so we end up going back and asking them to fix them because they were extremely thick it looked like they just placed bubbles on my fingers the lady who did mine was being rude when we came back to get them fixed only thing good ab it was the nice lady who did my sisters toes and my toes looked decent our nails looked horrible though not filed well, extremely thick. price was okay but not for how they ended up looking

Last pedicure was done by Kim.and she didnt give me the courtesy of asking which pedi I wanted and dumped new solution into water which was for the Deluxe pedi which was not what I wanted. My toes are already peeling after only 2 weeks. Never going back.

Andrea Nance I’m so happy I stumbled upon this salon. I was in so much pain from a in grown toenail and I had to get it fixed, I came here and they took care of me so quick and the pressure was gone. The massage pedi chairs are brand new, everything is kept really clean and they have more color options than any where I’ve been before. The prices are also the best around, I’ve never been someone to be a repeat customer because so many places just rush you out these days and collect money but this salon really cares about customer service and making sure you are happy when you leave. Great service, great experience, I will be back!

LaDonna Mackover I was very happy with my nails!!! The last place I went to my nails was way too long, I was actually using my knuckles to text, which was just crazy. I will say that it was my idea because I wanted them to look like Gwen Stefanis nails, and after a week, I regretted getting them done. Anyways, the guy who did mine this time was quiet except to ask how I wanted. And he was very respectful and nice, and he didnt just start tearing into me with the drill like most people do. It’s an amazing place to relax to get a mani and pedi without the rush of another client waiting on her, or listening to other peoples loud conversations over their phones, while being pampered. I’m so glad I came across this place, quiet, pleasant, and peaceful.
