Angel Cogar Fantastic! I ended up here because my usual places were closed on Sundays. I showed Ms. Cindy a picture of what I wanted for New Years Eve and she knocked it out of the park. She was fast, gentle and very nice. I will definitely be back.

Lauren Gentry Took my little lady here for her Birthday and I cannot express how beyond pleased I was all the way around. We’ve gone to MANY nail salons and none have matched what we experienced today, from the welcoming atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We’ve had so many bad experiences elsewhere especially when my little girl gets her nails done, but they were so gentle with her and gave her exactly what she wanted (literally looked like the picture she showed them), and with my nails they are the best I’ve ever had done he understood what I wanted and needed (due to my career) and went above and beyond and even recommended a nail shape that complimented my wide nail bed and fingers which NO ONE has ever even mentioned to me before when getting my nails done. They also did a phenomenal job on both of our eyebrow waxings, didn’t hurt and for the first time my skin didn’t react negatively after. They were also talkative, which you don’t get often in a nail salon, there was a lot of laughter so to say I couldn’t be more pleased is an understatement….they literally made our experience fun which hasn’t been the case for many years when we have been to other places to have our girls day! If I could I would definitely give more than 5 stars, but they will now be our go to with nails, waxing, etc.! Thank you for a wonderful experience for our girls day and all the girls days to come ❤️

Tiffany Murphy I usually do not get my nails done while traveling, but I decided to take a chance today. My Daughter in Law and I got pedicures. We were both very please! The staff is very friendly, helpful, efficient, and very thorough! The shop was clean and great choice of colors. We will definitely be back while we are here at Shands. When the nail tech found out why were here, when we left she told me she would pray for my Daughter in Law.❤️. I have to say that the whole staff is the friendliest staff I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with!

Rose Henderson Can’t speak highly enough about this lovely place. They are definitely my go to. I’m always taken care of and made to feel right at home. Very relaxing atmosphere for a racing mind. Also, best hand and feet massages you will ever have in your life. Family owned and it shows. Everything they do is with love and they are always striving for greatness. Mama did an amazing spooky set on me today! I am so grateful to have found them. Ps this is a dip set on my natural nails, I came in with 2 nails on this hand that were a little bit shorter, Chris did a wonderful job shaping them and blending the lengths together.

Sydney Hoopaugh Velvet Aura is the only salon I’ll go to in town! Mhika is so amazing at what she does and makes sure her team is on par with the same level of service. The space is so relaxing it’s such a haven compared to other salons where you leave with a headache from the fumes, or just being overwhelmed by the constant door opening. Being appointments-only means you get such a personalized experience and your tech isn’t trying to manage running the store simultaneously. Mhika usually has movies or a show playing, so it’s such a great brain-break from the outside world. Mhika has been my mail tech for at least the past four years, and I literally refuse to see anyone else!

Alani Cromwell Mhika is such a skilled and courteous nail stylist! Just by walking into Velvet Aura you feel relaxed from her plants and complimentary coffee/snacks station. She always takes extra care with her Russian manicure (included FREE of charge with every service), very attentive to details, and the vibes are always immaculate. I also appreciate that her salon is 100% fume free. Ive never had ANY complaints whatsoever, my nails are always beautiful!

Katya Hartley I’ve been to @mhikanails three times and she gets better every time. Incredibly talented and innovative in her technique and services. Top quality products and service. My natural nails have never looked better and they actually last so long. The salon vibes are immaculate and she always has a movie or show playing during your service. You are also surrounded by plants so 10/10

They did the exact design from the example photo, but checked with me every step or the way with length, price and things like that. We will definitely be back for future services. Franci Tabaczenski Everyone was nice and professional but Im not impressed with the quality of the service. It doesnt look very even and smooth and one of my nails has hair from the polish brush stuck to it. Also, they didnt paint close to the cuticles making it look like its already a week old polish and they didnt do a good job cleaning around the nail. Its cheaper than most places in town but not worth it.

Daritza Herrera Sunny and Cindy provide excellent customer service. They are both patient and detailed oriented. I am very happy with my manicure and pedicure which lasted >3 weeks. I love that they carry OPI polish. It’s probably better to walk in without an appointment. Also, better to bring and pay with cash. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

Clint Asbell Hands down, an amazing spa experience for kids. My daughter and her bestie obviously had the "Best Friends Forever" spa experience with Edwina, the owner. From the lush robes to the lemonade in a champagne flute, these girls enjoyed their services and were treated like true princesses!!!! The place is beautiful and the vibe is on point!! Bev G I’ve had consistently excellent massages here. It’s become exceptionally difficult to book services, though. Unfortunately, scheduling an appointment for a massage more than a month out isn’t realistic (for me) and booking multiple services for a single day doesn’t seem possible unless you book a very long time out. I just tried to book an hour massage and a facial on the same day and the first Saturday morning available was almost three month’s out. Good for SR that they are so busy, but bad for customers who can’t (or don’t want to) book that far ahead.

Nancy Báez Jessica did an amazing correction in my eyebrows. I had a previous old work that not only was fainted and bluish, but the shape was super thin. Jessica brought me hope and did a job only like an artist could accomplish. After a couple of sessions, I have the most beautiful natural-looking eyebrows. I recommend her as she is a very knowledgeable and kind person. The process was not painful for me and I found it very relaxing. I fell asleep last time as I trusted her in the whole process.

Joleen eliz No words can truly describe how relaxed I felt. I have had many MANY facials before. I typically have a very hard time relaxing during them and I usually feel the same leaving as I did when I first arrived. However that is not the case here. I have never felt so at peace and so rejuvenated in my life! I think I have finally found the perfect place to go to when life needs to get a little quiet. I’m so extremely grateful for the experience I had.

He did a big mess with my toe nails and hands, he didnt even soaked my hands in warm water, and they charged me $51.00. He left all the hard skin around my nails. They are not good at all.

Psychic Junkey My best friend and I had appointments for mani/pedis for her wedding. They did an amazing job, took their time, and were respectful of my allergies to acrylic. They happily made accommodations and gave me a beautiful set of nails!!! The bride was extremely happy!!

Kacey C The nail tech who helped me did a fantastic job on all the nails except for the marbled ones. I wish it had been communicated to me prior that the color for the marbling was going to be a SUPER bright pink. I feel bad because the girl was really kind but once it came to discussing the marbling of the nail, it came out really bright and unlike any of the inspo pictures I had shown her. I told her I’d be willing to fix it, even going so far as to offer to pay for it to be fixed, but the communication wasn’t there and I ultimately left feeling a little frustrated. However, for the remainder of the appointment, the nails came out beautiful as did the chrome over them. They also did my eyebrows which I’m really satisfied with. I’d say go here for sculpting and any sort of simple designs but for anything more complex definitely err on the side of caution.

Duo Chen Jenni is the best nail tech on this planet! I am very picky about my nails, but I have been going to see Jenni every two weeks for the past 3 years. I have to be very loyal to her as she is the only person in Gainesville who is able to meet all my standards(I know I expect a lot). She can do a lot of complicated designs and always pays attention to all details. She also does pedicures and brow waxing. Go! See! Her! If! You! Want! Pretty! Nails!

Karlana Talbert Do not use this business. There is a nail tech there named Mhika also known as Mhia Abby Bunoy who was very unprofessional and rude. After going to her for almost a year I had an adverse reaction to the acrylic base she used. She was using a certain brand on my hands and when it ran out, refilled it with a different brand and did not notify me. When I had a reaction she assured me that it was the same brand and that I had somehow "developed an allergy". After asking for a full refund I was only offered 50% refund after I barely had them on for a week. From there I was told to go to the emergency room or urgent care and that there was nothing else they could do. I have developed burning, blistering, peeling, and bleeding fingers. I had to spend $200 on urgent care. You have been warned.

Korrie Harmon Schaeffer I get my nails done by Chandra every two weeks. When she does them, they never lift or chip or peel. She cares and does good work. She takes longer, but thats because she makes sure its done right!

Went for a pedicure the tech made me bleed a lot right when she first started she said sorry i hit the wrong spot/nerve. she had no gloves on ,she cleaned the tub and then went back into touching my feet without washing her hands then had the owner come speak to me for the pain she caused at making me bleed a lot . The owner apologized and finished my nails for her . My nails were already painted from the tech but the owner started cutting and kept grooming my toe nails while painted as if the tech didn’t finish the job correctly. This experience was a very painful disaster . I Just gave birth a few months ago I wanted to pamper myself and this is what I got . A painful disaster . Lady’s run…. I do not recommend this place at all .

Dazzlyn Gator Cleaning Gel nails done Monday and it’s Thursday and nails are ripping and coming off . Gel usually last 2 weeks or more when I go somewhere else very disappointed and my feet look like I painted them no clean up or nothing. Won’t be back no wonder it’s always empty when I go!

Sara Geiger Hands down the worst nails Ive ever gotten done. I went in for a gel manicure. The first color was not even close to the sample, so we started over. The next color was also not great, but I just dealt with it. My nails wete not trimmed properly, I had uneven/ jagged nails, and the gel started peeling off within 2 days! I had done nothing out of the ordinary with my hands that would have caused this and gel normally lasts me two weeks or more. They looked like a kid painted them too!

Kristin Moorehead Firstly I want to say that the staff here are very nice. No complaints there. I got my first ever acrylics here a month or so ago and they were plain black almonds that looked amazing! So I decided to go back in and ask for black French tips since the full black grew out more noticeably. This is the sloppiest French tip. The lines are uneven and there’s even a chunk of black gel polish stuck under my right ring fingernail that the man tried and failed to get off, and it’s clearly visible through the pink part. I’m so sad, I just wanted nice nails, I never get my nails done. $45 was not worth it for this. If you do come here, get something simple. Again, no hate to the staff they were so friendly just inexperienced in what I wanted.

Meg Kamman I have been going to Tiffany’s twice a month for many years. It is the nicest couple that owns the place. It is just the two of them since COVID, so I recommend calling to make an appointment. They have the BEST pedicures in Gainesville. They take their time (usually an hour) and there is a nice leg massage. Very economical at $30. I highly recommend their pedicures! My husband now comes too!

As a young mom who is constantly on her feet, theyve suffered with cracks and dryness that never seemed to go away no matter how much Id try to manage them myself. No regular nail salon pedicure could help. A medical pedicure is what I needed and Dollhouse collective provides an incredible service where Ilana takes her time to provide you with a tailored service for your feet. I called many podiatrists in the area looking for this service but non provided it. Thankfully, i was referred to Ilana by Family podiatry, which was such a blessing. Thank you!!

Nyleve Snyder What an experience! The setting of the atmosphere is so welcoming. You enter with calmness and beautiful aesthetics. When Ilana is doing your pedicure it is as if your feet and toes come out brand new! You feel the difference from the beginning and leave out with baby soft skin. I absolutely love the attention to details and the “white noise” of her machine that catches the filing powder. Customer for life!

The one-on-one attention made it truly special, and the nail artist was incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process. I opted for the waterless pedicure, which was one hour of pure luxury and relaxation. I will definitely return, and Im also excited to try their hair and makeup services. This experience is a must for anyone seeking a top-notch beauty experience.

Kattayani Sarkar I did gel builder on my nails, with magnetic patterns. It costed $55 and the nail artist told me that it will last for three weeks at least. But as u can see from the images they have started chipping within a week.horrible experience.

Valerie Gunnels This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a nail salon. I went in for a pedicure, acrylic removal, and manicure. The pedicure was mediocre,but the manicure was awful. She didn’t use the warm water to soften the cuticles, no cuticle removal gel or grooming, which was so desperately needed after acrylic removal. She filed my nails unevenly and jagged, and the polish job.. just not good. To add insult to injury they didn’t even let my nails dry before they closed the doors. Their hours list they’re open until 7pm, my services were completed about z7:15. I paid $85 for this - regular polish. Will not be returning. They also had a dog in the shop who was so cute and friendly but I’d prefer if animals weren’t licking out of the water my pedicure is being done. Waste of time and money

cat Ward Has gone downhill in a big way. The really good techs have moved. I had to have my latest mani removed and redone at another place due to crappy looking stickers and incomplete polish on the sides of the nails. I am wondering if the male tech I had ( and they KEEP placing me with him !)- has an eyesight problem. He’s very very nice , but does a bad job each time. And all this for close to $100. I gave it several extra chances after I started noticing decrease in quality. Disappointed each time. Won’t be returning. This was my go- to salon for YEARS and I used to be very satisfied . Something has happened and it’s NOT good.
