Yuki I went to the nail salon for nail removal, instead of doing it properly, they just ripped them off and ground my nails with a machine until I was basically bleeding, this is the most painful and worst experience I have ever had. She basically rip my nails. Now my nails are all cracked

Kayla Gravenhise I came out here from NYC on a trip and i had a broken nail. They were not helpful at all. They didn’t speak English. They kept brushing me off saying u have to wait it’s people ahead of you. So i waited and waited. Then 30 mins go by I’m still waiting and another worker talks to me and asks what i need done. I explain it to me them & they tell me they don’t have the white acrylic i need for my nail to be fixed. What nail salon doesn’t have white acrylic?? I guess i wasn’t spending enough money for them and i wasn’t Spanish for them to work on my nail. Totally unprofessional and RACIST. They were also talking about me in Spanish and laughing at me, they figured because I’m black and don’t understand too much Spanish, that i was dumb and someone to play with. WRONG ONE. Do NOT waste your time and money on this place.

Isabel Laza After reading all the reviews I can understand why people are not happy most of the staff don’t speak or understand English and may seem rude. I was lucky that the tech I got did a great job. She used sanitized tools and knew what she was doing. Management/ Owner needs to hire staff to clean and organize the salon. Especially the nice hanging lamp in the entrance it has layers of dust. Sad because it could be a nice salon if owners would run it better.

Davdog Good afternoon. I hope this review finds you all well. My girlfriend visited this nail salon today October 14th at 02:00 pm. She was taken in as a walk in and that’s appreciated, but she was attended by someone who seemed to not have any experience at all or is potentially fresh out of nail tech school. My girlfriend went through a bad experience and it is as follows: 1-the nail tech did not use any sanitation while using the tools. 2-the nail tech failed to do a poor nail painting job by causing to spread paint outside my girlfriends nails. there was no clean up after. the nail tech said that my girlfriend can wash off her hands back at home. 3-My girlfriend had to constantly tell the tech to continue adding more layers of paint as if the paint was bad quality or had been watered down. 4-Eventually my girlfriend gave up after guiding the tech multiple times as to how she would like her nails to be and let the lady continue doing the job. My girlfriends anxiety levels are now going up. I understand this anxiety is not the salons fault. My girlfriend has anxiety which is something that many people suffer. she mentioned this at the moment of payment, that she does bite her nails at times, but that the nail job was poorly done and all she wanted to do was to express a concern with the most humble and quietness possible without causing a scene. The owner/manager did not think so. 5-The owner/manager of the nail salon was explained the situation and with the most unprofessional disgusting loud attitude stated, that the nail job was done greatly and that the reason why my girlfriend’s nails looked bad is due to herself. My girlfriend understands her anxiety issues. However, she experienced public humiliation when all she wanted to do was explain her experience in a quiet professional matter without making a scene, yet, the owner/manager handled my girlfriends concern with a very loud voice and drew attention toward them which is what my girlfriend wanted to avoid. The owner asked her to show her the nails and she expressed that they looked great. Then she asked her to show her her feet in front of everyone so that she can judge and provide her opinion publicly. This made it impossible to tend to my girlfriends concern. My girlfriends anxiety went up the roof and returned home with almost a full panic attack and anxiety. According to my girlfriend, even the front desk person appeared to be embarrassed toward the response of the manager. The times of great service are long gone. The times to take care of a customer are long gone. There is no longer any empathy towards the people. My girlfriend paid the whole service. We don’t need a refund. What we want is a little more courteous behavior, not someone speaking loud as an animal for the whole store to know the small concern my girlfriend had. I highly suggest you revisit your sanitation policy, and customer service/managerial skills. An experience that I believe women look forward to, and consider therapeutic, ended in a disaster. People may say they are just nails. I would say it is important to provide great service. Businesses will fail due to poor service and unfit personnel. You have to wow the customer and it starts with the head of the establishment. I will not mention any names but you must know by now who I am referring to. As I mentioned, my girlfriend does have anxiety and she bites her nails at times, potentially making her nails to not look amazing. Yet, we’ve seen her nails done correctly and there is a difference… even if she bites them. Please see pictures attached to this review. The first two pictures are her nails done well. The other set of pictures are the nails done today at Unique Nails in Westland mall. P.s. the main concern about all of this is not the quality of the nail job, but how it was handled at the end by someone who is suppose to be supportive and empathetic toward their customers. And my eyebrows cleaned up a bit they where nice but when it came to my eyebrows they messed it up the lady tool out way more then she was supposed to and messed the shape of my eyebrows and then didnt bother showing me them till I left and I had saw it in the mirror

Emma Johnson Went here for a pedicure today and the tech cut several of my cuticles too short causing them to bleed. She didn’t take any hygienic steps to remedy it or apologize. I had to perform wound care on myself later in the day. Additionally she used tools and brushes that were not from a new or sterile package like I’ve seen at other salons. Causing for concern about the chances of getting an infection or blood borne pathogen from here. Overall I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want to spend an additional $15 at CVS on antiseptic and Neosporin.

Suaza giraldo I give this place one star because most staff, in general are nice. The owner Colombian lady lacks manners & customer service and unfortunately she is always there. There is not much variety of colors. The work done is ok not great. & for what they offer they are over priced. You can definitely get a better job & experience elsewhere for same price.

JL After reading reviews I decided to give this place a try. Nails were done well but I was harassed by one of the nail techs who I have never even seen in my life for the entire time I was there. She was mad because I kept my purse on me. Not sure why she got so mad. If I want to keep my crossbody on me, it is my right to. Spoke to the owner she said she would take care of it. I called today to make an appointment and the owner remembered me and told me that she’s never had any issues with the hostile tech and that the tech doesn’t even remember me or saying anything to me. I feel customers should be valued more. I had spoken to her about other services I wanted to try but after careful consideration, I prefer to spend my money in a place where I will be valued as a customer and feel comfortable. I paid $80 for my daughter and I to get a regular mani-pedi and I was feeling uncomfortable and insulted the whole entire time. Sad that a place with potential can be tainted by one lousy employee.

Damaris STILL A 5 STAR REVIEW. Ive been going here for a few years. I have yet to be disappointed. A hiccup here and there will not stop me from making this my one and only nail salon. Sonia is my #1 nail tech but I also like Erika and Reina. There isnt that chatter that happens at other nail salons. This is a friendly but professional place. Clean and orderly. This is not a cheap nail place but theyll cater to you and do a great job.

Angela Palacio They did a horrible job on my feet the gel cam off of my nail as soon as I got home and realized the girl doing my feet didn’t even know what she was doing I had to explain to her what to do all they would do is talk rather than do their clients feet I’m honestly mad with the way they came out and the fact it cost $35 and they came out bad was just horrible wouldn’t recommend going there at all the prices aren’t reasonable because for the work they did on my feet I should’ve payed 10 not 35, I had to file my on nails from how bad they came out

Ginger Love The owners are really nice! But some of the workers perform very slow and don’t listen to what you are asking for to get done. For the price I paid it was not worth it and in less than two days two nails literally just fell off from my fingers and the gel nail polish started chipping off from my toenails literally. Please make sure you do your online search review before you spend any money.

Dianeibis Iglesias If I could give this place a 0 I would. To begin with they only have the outdated location on their website and on their confirmation emails. So after driving all the way to the given address, i was told that my appointment was at the other salon which I could not find the address for. After finding the new address and driving almost 30 minutes in the other location, I was told that the employee I had originally booked with was no longer available. Even though when I got there she was doing her own nails and did not have a customer. I was then helped by another employee who was very kind but sadly did not do my nails good. The salon itself was also incredibly dirty. That’s one of the main reasons I’m leaving this review. The bathroom sink was clogged and they did not have soap or paper, none of the tools were disinfected between customers, and the same container with the same liquid was used to take off everyone’s gel manicure. The container they had me put my hands in still had gel from a previous customer in it and Had a cloudy color. They did not disinfect or change out the liquid in it and Then proceeded to put it away. I left there with an incredibly sloppy and thick manicure and pedicure. They also left me with residual gel remover liquid on my hands that they didn’t even try to clean off before i left. And i had an incredibly hard time taking off at home. I was beyond disappointed and still had to pay the $55. Save yourself the trouble and the money and find somewhere cleaner that will actually provide what you’re paying for.

There are so many good places for manicure and pedicure, don’t waste your valuable time in this place!!!

Cynthia Greatest first experience! Came here and absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly and laid back. Fanny was my manicurist for today and she was an absolute sweetheart. First, she opened up a pack of sanitary tools and used fresh clean towels for my pedicure. She did my pedicure in such good timing and my feet came out looking great! On to the gel manicure, as she was doing my nails she offered me wine, water or coffee which was very courteous of her. My nails were unfortunately damaged due to previous acrylics, but she worked very well with my damaged nails and tried to repair and color them the best she could. Everything was being sanitized in the process, and she used clean towels as well, had no stains, no clippings it was so hygienic. The place was also decorated beautifully and was extremely clean, it really was a relaxing place. I will definitely come here again for my next visit as this is my new go-to!

Amanda H. The salon was clean, the staff was extremely friendly. There were no tense or stock-up vibes. I watched how they worked in hair, and the results were fantastic. There was a customer who came in late in the day, and they were able to accommodate and service her. Personally, I did my nails, and they came out to be pretty well; the design was spot on and the application feels like it would hold. I would definitely go again.

Mujer Virtuosa Very disappointed. About yesterday’s service. Unable to comunícate with language barrier. I am unhappy with the result of my nails. I feel like if its not expensive they don’t care about your natural nails. I have only washed my hands and the nail polish is gone Also I wanted my nails filed and he only did one nail, I had my nails done before in other places but nothing compares to this time. Dayanara Ramirez Haven’t been here in years, tried the place out because it was the only option open. A simple manicure and pedicure and they couldn’t even do it correctly. While doing my manicure I noticed their were leaving a big gap from the bottom of my nail ( very noticeable ), so I asked them if they can go all the way down. After they said they would I got completely ignored, the owners wife started ranting in their language for a straight 10 minutes because I guess it bothered her I asked ? When she wasn’t even doing my nails. Moving on to the pedicure, first they ask you if you want to cut your toes ( which is extra isn’t including in your pedicure) and they don’t even cut your toes ?? They literally pretend to. What a disgrace, this will be the last time coming here. Wouldn’t recommend. Open for so long I don’t even know how.

If you want good quality then you wait and people need to understand it’s not easy running a shop with three small children and all by yourself in this country. I love the way Mimi does pedicures and how Kevin can do any design I ask him too. They are the best my loyalty to them has never changed. And if no one likes there kids there then go somewhere else it’s simple you don’t need to come on google to write any bad reviews. They are the best!

Becky Reyes I used to go somewhere where it was really expensive to do my nails and I didnt feel welcomed there. Here I feel more comfortable and welcomed by the owners and other nail techs. They usually do an amazing job with my acrylics and if I feel like there isnt something I like then they fix it for me when I let them know or explain why it has to be done that way. The blonde nail tech does an amazing job with pedicures but she takes a very long time, but a good job in the end. The owners have young children that are sometimes in the shop, they tend to stay to themselves but just know, hope you like kids. Prices are decent for the work, of course I wish it was cheaper but being that this is right by my house and I have been going there for so long, its my best go-to nail salon.

Luana Manzano I’ve been coming to TNG for a little over a year now, and the only reason I keep coming back is because of Jailyn. She is by far the best nail tech at the salon, and it shows in how booked up she gets! I’ve had appointments with several other techs at that location, and I was close to giving up because I was never “wow’ed,” until I got an appointment with Jai. She is always warm, welcoming, and so friendly. She does an exceptional job and I always leave with the most gorgeous mani/pedi. If you’re making an appointment here for the first time, you have to book with Jailyn.

Maria Rivas I have been doing my nails with TNG for YEARS now, & Jailyn has been by far the best nail tech I have gone to. She has always welcomed & cared for me like family from the moment I walk in. When I started with her I did dip and my nails were destroyed, & she’s been both so professional & educational in her suggestions for what is best to keep my nails healthy & lasting long. I even trust her to pick the color!! She honestly wows me every time & I can honestly say I only come back because of her, & book my appts w her 6 months in advance to secure my spot. Jessica Gonzalez TNG is my second home. Anytime I go, it’s a full relaxation experience. Barbara has been my nail tech for the past 2+ years and I wouldn’t trade her for the world! I used to have extremely fragile nails and as time has passed, she’s been able to strengthen them (honestly impressive). Anytime I’ve had an emergency she always finds a way to squeeze me in or make room for me. She makes sure to provide quality care and work since the first set. Intueri The staff is very sweet and welcoming. Great place to come in on a Sunday to enjoy pampering yourself. I forgot to tell the technician that I wanted my toenails very short and realized after she was done. If I did not have to wear Safety Shoes or closed toe shoes, I would have gone extremely happy. Well she was so sweet she said: no worries, we will get them done to your liking because we always want you to go home happy. These days that means the world to a customer. This place is special!
