Rae Juhl I had my haircut by Melissa Nieves who did a fantastic job! My hair is straight and fine in texture so any mistake is highly visible, so Im always nervous to try a new stylist, but Melissa is a pro and did a beautiful job with my hair. Ive found my new salon home!

Arlene Mejiaa I was referred to Lesley by a friend and decided to also get a pedicure by Pilar since it’s my birthday and let me tell you, this is a great atmosphere with an awesome team of people. The way it feels in there is amazing and everyone is so nice and really listens to your needs, the work is beautiful and they also explain everything thoroughly if you have any questions, 10/10 recommend!

Alex D I had amazing service at Unity with Pilar. She is absolutely awesome! Very attentive to the clients comfort and needs, even saying "youre treated like a princess when youre here!" She explained the services she was performing, giving me advice on how I can better care for my nails since I had a bad experience that messed up my nails at a different salon prior to seeing her. Im a simple person, usually just get a French manicure. Because of that, I feel like people usually rush. Not Pilar! She took her time and was very attentive to detail, making sure it was perfect, which Im so appreciative of. I will definitely be back.

Katrina Tuggle My mom gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure for Christmas, so I decided to use it this morning. I was not disappointed! Katie was really nice and did a fantastic job! My nails were definitely in need of some TLC, which she provided. The water was warm, the salon was clean, and Katie really pampered my feet and legs. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

Kate Danh This is my second visit to this nail salon. Honestly, I wasn’t in the best mood. The people here are really nice, but I am quite a reserved person. I really like the color of my nails, but while I was getting them done, the lady accidentally damaged one spot. I’m actually quite particular about these things, so I mentioned it. She reassured me that it wasn’t a big deal, and since it was Christmas, I didn’t want to cause any trouble, so I let it go. However, after leaving, I noticed several imperfections on my nails that were not only unappealing but also tend to catch on clothes. I don’t usually mind customer service, but what matters to me is the quality. I’m sharing this review for reference.

Tina Louise My first experience with L’amour snail & Spa Lake Mary 3005 W Lake Mary Blvd was not a good one. I went in for a manicure & pedicure. The nail tech was older around 60-70 years old. She started the manicure with no hand soak, cut into the corner of my long natural nails on the right hand(this causes hangnails), and didn’t fully remove my polish. I asked her to remove the polish on my nails and she lightly rubbed one. I couldn’t continue with the service and said I cannot do this and left. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had and do not recommend this place.

The technician, Tina, gave me the best pedicure I have had in years. She didnt rush and was very thorough. Liliana Gamez I had the pleasure of stopping by Unique Spa after work for a mani and pedi. I hadnt been to a nail salon in a while because its hard to find salons that give good service while maintaining high quality. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with good service and smiles! My manicure turned out great and my pedicure was done perfectly. The staff took their time to perfect their services. I felt extremely comfortable and cant wait to be back. They offer waxing services and facials. Theres also reserved parking spaces for their clients.

Ashley Velazquez First time here and didn’t have an appt and they were able to get started on my nails right away. Came in for a fill and they did amazing. I’m pretty simple but still great service. Hand and neck massage was a great touch and reasonably priced. Will be returning!

Sandi Ruth It was good. The nail tech was good but hardly spoke to me. My daughter went too but she wasnt pleased. 01/13/24 I am adding to my original review above and changed my rating. I wish I could give no stars, because I am not happy. On 01/07/24 I decided to spend the money and get a gel manicure since they are supposed to last 2 - 3 weeks and the regular polish doesnt last. I work in a doctors office so I dont do anything rough with my hands and I hadnt done my house work this week. However, by the 9th, the polish was coming off. I couldnt believe it and I couldnt make it back to the salon until the 13th to get it fixed. When I did, they told me I would have to pay 1/2 to get it fix because it has been a week. I told her a week is tomorrow and you can clearly see the polish had been coming off way before today. Plus gel is supposed to last 2 - 3 weeks. No problem. So here is my review. They dont ever have to worry about me coming back, not ever, not even for a free manicure and Im sharing this with my friends.

Alina Beyond satisfied with the service I received today. Got a mani and pedi and the technicians both had great attention to detail. I was offered something to drink and received a mini shoulder massage. My nails look fantastic and I was asked multiple times if Im happy. Definitely recommend and I will be back

Jaclyn Adair My cuticles really weren’t even tended to at all. No cuticle trim, push back, or anything. Just soaked off my gel and did dip powder. The shoulder massage was a nice touch though. The sides of my nails had no powder on them. He didn’t clean the powder underneath my nails either. I got a 15 minute foot massage while my husband got a pedicure, and it was actually somewhat painful. She kept massaging the underpart of my foot with her nail. It hurt. Last two visits with two different women were alright. They were sweet with my daughter, but this visit with the only man that works there was not good. We felt rushed too. They close at 7:30 but start rushing to finish around 6:30.

Amanda Ortman My nail tech spoke no English, was impossible to communicate with her. Any time I asked anything she would just say yes and then what I requested never happened. Polish application is awful and I had to refile all of my nails and toe nails as they weren’t even. Save yourself the money and trouble and DO NOT go here. This is what $85 gets you.

Jodi Holden I’ve been seeing Trish at Beaute Nest Nails for over a year now and she is sooooo awesome. My nails and pedicure always come out excellent. My 17-year-old daughter sees her husband Kan And he is also fantastic. My daughter is into designs and he can do whatever she shows him on her phone. Everything is always clean and sanitized and I’m extremely happy with Beaute. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I cannot thank Trish & Kahn and her fabulous staff enough for fitting me in , I am terrible at making appointments. But they are lovely at accommodating me! I’ve always had great service , pedicures included. I’ve been going to the salon or at least 5 years . I take my friends there , my daughter will drive up from the keys to get a pedicure with them . Kind , wonderful , family friendly business . Classy and elegant ! They work hard for their customers !

Jessica Faddoul Went there for a pedicure and left going immediately to a different salon down the street. I asked for gel and got regular polish, burn marks on my toes from water being too hot, chunky polish, nail tech didn’t ask what shape I wanted and left them 2 different shapes, polish was all over my toes and some not even done fully. Whole experience was about 20-25 minutes (shorter than other places im use to) and tech never came back to check or anything. Wouldn’t recommend for a pedicure. I tried out this place since it had good reviews and ended up back at a different place immediately after.

I also asked just for a French manicure, but ended up being up-charged for gel, which I never asked for. Unfortunately I dont have time to get these redone right now, but I am concerned about going back because my technicians tools were not sanitized before use or after. Update: Will, the owner, has offered to re-do my nails.

Liza Melvin Ive been going to Premier Nails for over 6 months. Finally I found a nail salon that does a superb job with my nails and pedicure needs. Will is attentive and experienced and his staff is courteous and very talented as well.

Missy This nail salon is horrible, and has bad customer service because they do not have pricing transparency anywhere around the salon. They also overcharged me for a gel manicure. $17 +$20. That is ridiculous. I called over to another nail salon, and they only charge $30. Plus, it is a better salon in a nicer location. Also, when I questioned Willl at the checkout he was rude about it, and remarked that this the going rate everywhere. That is a complete lie. He needs to check out his competitors before stating that information. Well, I will NOT be back to this place again. I will do my own nails from now on. Finally, I was not offered a discount. I had been to this same salon three weeks earlier, and spent over a $100. Why was it not offered on this $70 service? Also, my manicure left me with weak and torn nails.I have attached a photo of my now ripped thumb nail.

Lauren Carbone I’m visiting from out of town, and my mom recommended this salon. I was nervous since I always go to the same place back home, but Tony did a great job with my dip nails! He took his time sculpting and shaping them and checked in often to make sure I liked them. The rest of the staff was also very sweet and attentive. If you like nicely rounded or almond-shaped nails, I highly recommend Tony. He had great attention to detail! I did a pastel yellow with pearl chrome powder on top for Spring :)

Dezja Rush I’ve had my nails done here several times, lately by Monica, who usually does good work. This time however Monica gave me an option of 2 pink acrylic bases for my French tip and when I said I wanted the softer of the two she urged me to get the harsher pink so that my natural nails wouldn’t show. I left it up to her expertise but regretted after seeing the finished product. Once I left and got a good look at the nails I immediately went to a different nail shop and got a much better nail look.

Nicole Sexton I have been going to see Monica for about 2 years now. I used to live in winter park so it was a bit of a drive, but Monica always made it worth the drive. Now I have moved a lot farther and drive an hour and a half every few weeks just to keep getting my nails done by Monica. She always does the perfect shape, length, and does a beautiful job at any design I ask for. Whenever I am out and about people are shocked I drive so far for a nail appointment, but the reactions on how great they are make it worth it! Jason always does a wonderful job with my pedicure as well.

Larreb Shakil I’ve been to many salons in Lake Mary and this salon is the BEST! They are so sweet and my nails last over a month. I have a very busy schedule and they always accommodate me and make me a priority. Never changing salons that’s for sure!

Gabi Thompkins Vee!!!! Shes the best! She corrected the "coffin" shape I had gotten at a nail salon around the corner from them. The gel color French tip is on point! Vee perfectly created the nails that fit my fingers. I highly recommend visiting her ASAP!

Ashley N I recently visited this salon for a pedicure. An older Asian woman worked on my feet (I think her name is Mae Mae). She was not wearing a mask and she had a frequent productive cough to the point where she was coughing on my feet and I could feel her spit hitting my feet. She also kept walking away roughly every five minutes to the back salon to hack and cough her lungs out. I told her that I wasn’t comfortable having her continuing my pedicure because it was clear that she was sick, and then she lied to me and told me that she just had “allergies” and she continued my pedicure. Eventually I was so uncomfortable with the situation, that when she went to the back of the store for the eighth time with a coughing fit, I climbed out of the pedicure chair and offered to pay for my pedicure in full without having it finished. I just wanted to leave. The other workers there convinced me not to leave and they had someone else finish my pedicure. They also assured me that the older woman had “allergies“ and she wasn’t sick. I later noticed that all over the front counter near the cash register were bottles of flu and cold medications…So I doubt it was allergies. Shortly after that, I developed the flu and I was extremely sick for two weeks. I work from home and I doubt that I caught it anywhere else other than this place. I am really put off by that experience. To top it off, I found out shortly after this that I’m pregnant, so I wasn’t super thrilled about having a virus at the beginning of my pregnancy that could affect my baby. Unprofessional and super unsanitary behavior. I have been to this location a few times before. Vee is nice but Mae Mae will drive off customers. The older woman there (who got me sick) is very offputting and unprofessional. As other reviewers are saying, she is always on her phone and sounds like she is trash talking her customers.

Shalynn Ricciardi This located in a very nice area. Very clean, and decorated nicely. I went here with a group of four for pedicures and they were very nice and accommodating. We were all able to sit together and I noticed they made sure another group at the manicure area were able to sit together after someone else left. They were very gentle when it came to a few people in my group with feet issues, such as calluses. I was kind of worried considering the amount of one star reviews on here. While we were there I was reminded we’re in a “nicer” area and for some reason people here tend to need to find some reason to complain. I overheard the tech show the gel polish to someone to make sure it matched their choice from the card and she acted like it was the rudest question. So take some of the reviews with a grain of salt.

Heather Lynn Horrible experience not only did i get burnt by the drill several times i also got cut by it on 4 of my fingers… i should of left after the 2nd time i got burnt by the drill.. all the supplies wasnt sterilized everything had nail dust all over it… still ended up paying 45.00 for a poor job.. i will not be back to this location. Now have to let my fingers heal to have this mess taken off and redone elsewhere…they dont even allow time for the nails to dry they use a fan it smudged alot at this point i was over it paid and left…

Tiffany Khan Eyebrow threading and Microblading experts!! I’ve done the microblading 4 yrs ago with only needing 2 touch ups over the years. I thread my eyebrows every 3 weeks. I receive compliments on my eyebrows on a regular basis! Back story I have lupus and when I turned 30 my eyebrows literally fell out, had bald spots, and these ladies have nourished my eyebrows back! Trust their process!

Priscilla Gonzalez I have been coming to get my eyebrows threaded by Priyanka for about 6 years, every 4-6 weeks. Her work is consistent & flawless. She really cares about her clients results & overall growth. During this time her prices have raised over the years, but her service is so worth it! There are no appointments for just eyebrow threading, so sometimes the wait can be on the longer end 30 minutes to an hour, but it’s always worth the wait too! I just recommend you don’t come if you’re in a rush, come with free time or wiggle room in your schedule at least. You’re gonna love her! She’s my eyebrow godmother & I always look forward to our chats about life. (: 10/10 recommend.

Brenda Eggleston Went to gety eyebrows micro bladed and mini did such a perfect job. I recommend her beauty shop to everyone that wants work done on there eyebrows. The atmosphere is great to so inviting not like other shops where you feel like your walking on egg shells. And she explained the process while she was microblading step by step.

Billie Robertson Love love love this place. They did a great job on my eyebrows and my toes. It was like hanging out with a bunch of girlfriends. A much more one on one of experience then some of these giant places. I feel very much at home and I got to hold a puppy! Now, if that’s not a great day, I don’t know what it is. Making reservations was easy, and they remembered I was not too satisfied with my last experience, so It was very refreshing how sweet they were and making sure I was taken care of. The girls that came with me were also happy and said they would definitely be back. Big thanks to the guy who did my nails!! My last review: Im so sad Tipsy let me down this time around. Ive come here, I think, a couple of times before, and it wasnt bad. To be honest Im most likely gonna go back there again just wanted to leave this here for the ones who are like me and actually look at reviews to get a better idea of the experience they will have going into establishments. The people who work there are nice, and customer service is really welcoming. Just make sure that when you request styles, you make it clear that this is what you want the outcome to be so you can be put with the right person. The lady who did my nails was Sam, and she was really sweet. Shes good, just not for what was requested. They did let me know to keep an open mind, and I was okay with that. I just didnt think it would come out the way it did. They were okay to me. I dont get my nails done as much, but when I sent my boyfriend the picture, he was so upset, which caused me to get upset. On top of that, Im pregnant, so my emotions were extra heightened. I wasnt rude at all when I mentioned to the girl checking me out what my concerns were, but man, I felt like I was being gaslighted. I already accepted the color of the nails not coming out different than the picture. It was just the overall aeustetic and shape that was off. I had to pay extra for them to fix the issue, so just make sure you say something right then and there. I just hate how your going to a nail salon to get your nails done and they say they cant do that style or its not going to come out like that but have mad other bizarre nails styles they are promoting that they do and have done. Definitely gonna give them another try and would still would and have recommend this place.

Emily Tomczak Pedicure was sloppy. Worker used the plastic wrapper of a pumice stone to put the lotion on my feet. Toe polish was left all around my skin. I had to clean up when I got home. Nails turned out better, but still not pleased. Paint not dark enough in some areas even when I asked for additional paint. Will not return. Update: It has been 2 weeks since I got my nails done. I have NEVER had acrylics lift after 2 weeks. My nails are fully lifting from the bottom and can’t even be filled to keep them on. This service was a huge waste of my money!

The instructors are amazing and truly want the best for you. I’ve learned so much and love that I have made friendships along the way. What an amazing ride! I took the weekend class with Lesley and Nilzete, and they are beyond incredible. Their kindness, patience, and pure passion for what they do deeply moved me. Every single person there made me feel so welcomed and supported, like a true family. I honestly loved every single moment of it. When graduation came, I couldn’t help but cry as I left—it was such an emotional experience. My time in class wasn’t just about learning; it was about finding a community that lifted me up and inspired me in ways I never expected. It’s an experience I’ll hold in my heart forever!

Arianna Roman I have been going here speraticaly throughout the years for reference before I was a adult I would come I try my best not to come here because every time I go I have a bad experience and I tell myself I’m never coming back and I do try my best but some times it’s my last resort im not going to be a Karen in my review but the reason I am giving it one star is because I’m always givin and addititude and my nails are always clumpy and not smooth abd I noticed he was watching like a show on his phone while he was doing my nails and I’m not going to be the one to judge but I feel like his addititude came from him wanting to watch his show and by me being there I divided his attention away from his show keep in mind he wasn’t on break or anything

noemi santana i asked for a certain type of nails & she didn’t do the shape correct or the nail color . i don’t like polish, i wanted powder & she used the polish & it’s done very messy as well. i’ve gone here a few times hoping they’d do better but not once was i ever satisfied with their service. id like some one to please contact me about a refund or fixing them correctly this time.

Tianna Nichols Between having limited nail colors choose from and only 2 people working, I don’t know what I should be displeased with more. I asked for a ballerina cut and was told they can’t do that service. I then asked what could they do and I was then quoted $55 for coffin nails which I did not receive. More like oval. I requested that she use a white base so that the color shows up nice and bright. I was told that I can just do another coat. After 4 coats it’s still not the desired color. When the nail tech then went on a bathroom break, I noticed that my nails were crooked, uneven and super round. I asked that she fixed them and I was told again that it’s fine and she will get to it. I left ready to take the nails off and start again elsewhere. I called 3x to discuss how unhappy I was but my calls weren’t answered.

Fa THE WORST PLACE EVER. I only wanted a soak off and I ended up having to walk out because he kept cutting me on purpose. As soon as I came in “Anthony” complained very rudely and loudly how it’s too much work & repeatedly told me to “go to who put the nails on”. He kept saying it to the point I started crying, i only stood because i had a flight to catch in a few hours and took an uber there.. He then tries to pry my nails off instead of an actual soak. He was so rude and embarrassing in front of everyone Im glad for the masks or else I would’ve been even more embarrassed for crying in the middle of a walmart. I ended up walking out during the first nail because this was a nightmare!!!!!! I had to call my mom from work bawling to pick me up. Never. Again.

Kim Wigelsworth I get my nails done here every month. The people are wonderful. They are very caring and they take their time and make it a wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone. I enjoy my time there. I am in a wheelchair and they make it very easy for me. Ken and Kim are the best!
