Dani Bollettieri I have been going to Les Cisseaux since I was in my 20s and I have always loved it. I recently moved back to Sarasota and I have had 2 appointments with Elizabeth. She is beyond fabulous. I have complicated hair! Lots of curly hair and I love it a specific color blond and more around my face since I put it up a lot. She does it perfectly! Color is phenomenal and when she blows it straight I love it!!! Plus she’s such a sweet person. Absolutely recommend!

Becca S Do not go here!!! Find a different salon if you care about your hair at all!! I came in for a simple root retouch and they FRIED OFF MY HAIR!! Please read this review before you book with them! My first appointment I asked to be put with a blonde specialist and they booked me with Elizabeth for a bleach root retouch. She gave me a massive orange band and when I pointed it out to her she told me it wasn’t there and when I asked multiple times for her to please fix it she covered it with a high lift hair dye. I told her that high lift hair dye doesn’t work on hair that’s already been bleached but she told me that this one did and unfortunately I decided to trust her. When she was done I was still left with the same massive orange band and my roots felt very dry but at that point I had already been there for hours and she was very rude so I just left and called the salon the next day. The first picture is of my hair in the car right after leaving my appointment with Elizabeth. When I called the next day I asked for a refund but they refused to give it to me and instead said I should come in and have it fixed by a different stylist. They put me with a supposedly very experienced stylist named Dawn. I told her that I was concerned with the integrity of my hair after the botched bleach job and high lift color Elizabeth had already done but Dawn told me that there would be no breakage and that she was careful. When Dawn was done with my hair she blow dried it straight and told me that there was no breakage and I even gave her a tip for fixing it but when I washed my hair a few days later I had short broken clumps of fried hair sticking right out of my part. It looks terrible and my hair is so thin and broken now I have to straighten the broken pieces down every day just to make it not look crazy. When I first saw how much of my hair had fried off I was so sad that I cried, and it’s so damaged that more and more breaks off every day. The second picture is what Dawn did to my hair and that’s just the pieces that broke off of my part, there is much more breakage underneath my hair. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else, they did irreversible damage to my hair that will take years to recover from so I posted my experience on yelp and google reviews to try to warn other women. Within 20 minutes of the post being up the salon called me and said they would refund my money, but only if I deleted my bad reviews. Since I was backed into a corner, I agreed so I could at least get my money back. But what they did is super unethical and actually illegal too. The fact that they would only refund my money if I took down my original review is honestly disgusting and this salon should be ashamed of themselves. I attached pictures of the federal law about bribing customers to delete their reviews, I’m assuming that they’ve done this to a lot of women because this is by far the worst salon experience I have ever had in my life and I hope this place gets shut down soon. If you’re reading this I hope you decide to go somewhere else so you don’t get taken advantage of and end up with fried off hair the way I did.

Susan Ryan In all my 15 years as Concierge at Lido Beach Resort, they are the most exquisite spa & salon in Sarasota. Ann gave me the best haircut of my life last Wednesday. Shes perfect. She is my my dream hair guru. I love this place ❤❤❤

Laura Cohen Maria, I really like this salon. I have passed by it many times over the years and never stopped in, but about a year ago I was looking for a new stylist because I had been getting "curly haircuts" and never really felt happy with them. I found Maria at Les Ciseaux salon spa Maria she understands where Im coming from. She is very knowledgeable and cuts my hair the way I ask and communicates with me throughout the haircut to make sure I will be happy with it. Blowouts seem to be popular at this salon so I feel at home. LOL Maria is happy to blow dry my hair so I feel good when I leave the salon. She also gives me tips for wearing my hair natural when I choose to. Ive never enjoyed going to hair salons because too many times I have left very sad because either the stylist didnt understand my hair and cut it in a way that would be hard to manage or just didnt listen to me at all and cut it however he or she wanted. I enjoy my appointments with Maria and the salon is unpretentious and comfortable. The employees there have always been very welcoming and friendly. Im very glad I found Maria and look forward to many more appointments with her.

MEB First, the place is very inviting and professionally staffed. You are greeted and welcome and immediately. My husband took me for a couples massage for my birthday in November, apparently my masseuse had an emergency and had to leave. Another lady stepped right up and did my massage. It was to be 90 minute, ended up being 60 minutes. It was one of the best massages Ive ever had! I was totally pampered while I waited and they made everything more than right for the mishap. Yesterday I returned for a complimentary pedicure, again it was a lovely experience! Jean did a fabulous job, Ill definitely returned! Thank you for your graciousness!

christian caballero Young lady from "TABBIES CORNER" upstairs on the second floor is guaranteed to give u the best pedicure you will ever have. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to medical issues and will go above and beyond to meet your needs. The atmosphere is private, quiet, intimate and relaxing. Her talent with Pedi massages and nail designs is unmatched. You will never have such a fulfilling and dedicated artist.

Raven Nicole The best nail tech I’ve had in years. Star is amazing, from her work, to her personality. The energy and atmosphere is amazing. It’s always laughs and good times in the shop every time I’m there! She uses 100% American made products, and even mixes up the colors to give them her own little flare. Even makes her own colors! I’d recommend her to absolutely anyone!

Jamie Go see Ciara at Star Struck Nails. She does the best work, has the most up to date designs, and has many options for you to choose from. Lets not forget to mention she is a full service nail tech, pedicures, and all.

Angel Rizo I have been friends with Star for many years and she is the best. Not only is her work amazing (follow her on social media and you will see) she also has the kindest heart and always willing to help. I do home health care and have a client who can no longer go to the salon to get her nails done so today Star came and gave her a beautiful manicure while having the biggest smile. My client was happy to have such a wonderful person who was mobile and able to come and take care her Nail’s at home. Thank you so much Star! We will be seeing you soon!

Jeanna Helmuth This was my second visit to Nailology and I’ve been so happy both times. Paul is so accommodating with scheduling and both he and Venus are patient and kind when it comes to picking colors, designs, nail shape etc. I never feel like I’m inconveniencing either of them. I saw Venus this time and LOVE the “cat eye” nail design that I got. The last time I was in I got a gel pedicure with Paul that is still looking beautiful a month later. I’ll be back!!

I never experienced such a great treatment in my 40 years of life, and I traveled the world! Venus was the best. She made my day and face look beautiful! b l 2 stars because the salon was nice and clean. I was able to be sat for a pedicure right away. The man that did my pedicure did not seem to know what he was doing as several of the women had to keep directing him. $90 for the highest level pedicure and the man put the lotion on my legs and rubbed it off with a towel immediately after. No massage which is what I pay the extra money for. The polish job also looks pretty bad. Definitely not worth the price.

Cindy Riedmiller Love Cali Day Spa! Ken and Kelly are awesome. The service is always good and enjoyable. I have been in a lot of other nail salons and Cali is my favorite. Honestly I only go there now because they do the best job and I am happy and satisfied with their work and they are less expensive than other salons so I can tip them better. I highly recommend Cali.

Sara Lisas salon is quaint and super relaxing! You receive one on one attention here. Which is nice. A single, comfortable massage chair. Lisa takes pride in her craft. I came in with a gift certificate from my Mom for a Deluxe Pedicure. Lisa is comfortable to be around and easy to talk to. This has been the best Pedicure Ive ever had! I dont get pedicures often and was a little apprehensive. Lisa was welcoming, professional and shes great at what she does! Go see Lisa! Shell be my first stop next time Im in town.

Bethany Had a lovely experience at Stunning Nails! Lisa is patient, skilled, and kind. Shes got a nice set up and is very flexible with scheduling. I absolutely recommend coming by! I appreciated that I could schedule an appointment over text, since its hard to find time to make calls during my workday. There is another nail shop in the center. Shes in a suite next to a vets office, past the sign that says "Stunning Nails".

Megan Turner This was the worst “manicure” I’ve ever had, they didn’t soak off my old gel polish but buffed it off with the machine for shaping acrylic. They didn’t dry the coats of gel properly because my black nails all started peeling within 2 hours of the service, they rushed my daughter’s blue nails so much that there was paint all over her fingers, the lady was annoyed when I asked her to remove the excess polish. The gentleman who did my nails put lotion on one hand, massaged it for maybe 30 seconds and the didn’t even massage the second one at all and just said he was done. They said they would fix the nails if we went back but it’s not even worth it, I will just be going back to a different salon. The demeanor of the staff was just bothered and annoyed in general, they were not friendly at all. Terrible customer service.

Rose Mac Of all the nail salons I’ve tried in downtown Sarasota, Lotus clearly offers the best quality service and the best prices. The staff are friendly and helpful and the recently remodeled salon is bright and airy. Its location nextdoor to Publix in the Broadway Promenade Shopping Center is also extremely convenient.

natasha barrera I went to remove gel x nails and rather than soak and scrape the gel off, the used an electric buffer and buffed all the way down to the pinks of my nail! Ouch! They are tender to the touch and my nails are so frail today. The lady wanted me to get gel polish to protect them because my nails are so thin. :( I would have paid for the gel mani even without the “need” to protect them. My nails are very thick and strong normally and I’m sad I need to let them grow all the way out before I do anything to them again. My normal nail tech was unavailable this time. I have been here before for a fresh gel manicure in the past and the experience was fine.

Prices are more than reasonable and everyone is kind and talks to you! I would say my only suggestion would be to close the door it was wicked cold out today !!! I LOVE MY NAILS

Sarah Monsalve What an awful service! Lily did my daughter’s nail and Annie and Lily worked in my manicure. When I first came in and saw the prices of the manicure were cheaper than 35 dollars, but when I had to pay they charged us 70 dollars which I found extremely expensive considering that my daughter is just a little girl, but still we paid. However, my daughter wanted to pay the tip with her savings, and when she asked for change from her 10 dollars bill, Annie said no because the tip had to be split between two services. I didn’t accept her answer and asked her to give my daughter 5 dollars back because she only wanted to pay 5 dollars for the service instead of 10. Lily was upset because I asked her to correct my nails because they were rough on the edges and she took it as an excessive request from a client who is paying for a service, absurd! I called again after I left to find out the prices, they gave me different prices and then, they called me again to give me other prices for their services. Don’t support this place, don’t go there. Awful service, extremely expensive prices for little girls who barely have nails. And not even good quality in the gel manicure.

e j this is the best place anyone in the area can go for nails. i have spread it word of mouth to friends who ended up as clients at appointments with me & for years, Shui & the entire staff, have been amazing. great with details if you ever want specifics, attaching two photos from 2021 :) (sorry, one is awful quality, but you can still kind of see how well the design sits) and even if you do a typical french, pink-white, you will be satisfied & happy.

Anna Stas Writing this review on behalf of my younger sister who came here couple days ago. She was so excited of how her nails were done, tipped well, and left. Two days later, all of the nails came right off :( She doesn’t do heavy labor with her hands and she said that just by touching them lightly, they came right off. She called this morning to have the salon check them and redo, and they said that this “never happens” and she would need to pay full price again. Personally, with my nail tech, even if one nail comes off, she takes me right in to get it fixed because there must of been an issue with either the product or the way of application that didn’t stick properly. My sister is incredibly upset and she’s too kind to speak up for herself. I disagree with this salon’s policy.

Mackenzie Hirstein Had an appointment and to get a set with the smallest design then told me before the design she didn’t have time for me. So someone else did the design after refusing to for a couple mins and you can’t tell what they are supposed to be!

Lauren LaBak I came here for a pedicure and ended up getting the super spa pedi with gel polish. I’m a pedicure regular and it’s pretty rare that I fall asleep in the chair. I was comatose. And I got the best calf massage ever, and since it’s winter I was in need of some heel exfoliation. They did an excellent job on that too. Price is outstanding and I will definitely be coming back.

P P I have been going to this salon for years but they do not renew their products, the polishes are old and dry. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place… I have had my manicure for 3 days and I must repaint my nails… the manicure cost a lot, poor quality and cheap service!

Spangle Taylor This was fine, I expected to pay a lot less for a gel mani and pedi polish change for the two of us I paid $116 not including a $20 tip that was a surprise to me although my kiddo got some nail art it was not a full mani-pedi so I wasnt expecting to pay that much. They did a good job they were fast. It definitely doesnt seem that clean. We usually go to Sarasota Happy nails but last time we were there for a mani and pedi for a 10-year-old and myself they charged us $250 which I thought was crazy and Ive been going there for many years so I was insulted when they didnt give us a signature for a service they charged my child full price for so we tried this place. It makes me want to spend the extra money to go to a really clean place that has better service as far as perfection. But being right next door to us I thought we should try this on a recommendation from my friend. It just seemed not very cleanly and very speedy service which was appreciated but at the same time did not justify the price in my opinion. They did a good job and they were nice but I just wasnt expecting the price tag.

Giusel Barraza First of all I do never post negative reviews about any business but this time I feel this is necessary! Only came for gel color application for my daughter, she had long nails when arrived and asked for a dark purple from the color palette, I waited by the waiting area for her and When I saw this I was completely speechless, it looks like my daughter (only 14) was afraid to say anything but not only the color was completely different and her nails where extremely short, on top of that they charged me $22 for just the hair color which you can see in the pictures is not even applied evenly… needless to say I won’t be returning there’s plenty of good salons in the area.

Holly Kerr I can’t recommend Leanne and her team enough! They are experienced, professional, and knowledgeable. After 3 years away, Leanne still remembered me and even knew the color I loved for my acrylic nails! Her work is consistently flawless—Ive never had a nail break or chip, even when I was bartending. The pedicures are perfect, and she’s quick and efficient, which I appreciate since I don’t have a lot of time to spend in the salon. Plus, her prices are great, and she never tries to upsell. I’m so glad to be back now that I’ve returned to work!

Susan Hintz Nails 41 is clean, friendly, and service driven. Leanne did my acrylic fill with a French finish, and she is outstanding! Lynn did my pedicure which was relaxing, thorough, and pretty. We come to Sarasota every year, and this will be my go-to place!

Karen Brooks Yesterday was my first time getting my nails done at Nails 41-it was an excellent experience! Leanne is just great-I came in with a recent dip gone bad and she fixed me right up! She listened to what I wanted and did just that! The salon is clean and peaceful and I will be going back to see Leanne for my next dip and will try a pedicure as well! My daughter was very happy with hers!

Patricia Romig I had the best experience at Luxurious Nails & Spa this afternoon! The staff was not only friendly but also highly skilled. KEN took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. His attention to detail was amazing. Every nail was perfectly shaped and painted flawlessly. I got chrome, and Ken tested 3 different chrome powders until I found the perfect finish! The overall service was top-notch, and I left feeling pampered, relaxed and completely satisfied. Highly recommend Ken and Luxurious Nails and Salon for anyone looking for exceptional nail care!

Kristin Rose Newswanger I was referred here but wasnt sure I had the correct place or gas several names lol. On the outside its one name online its another So I didnt ask for the tech because I didnt know if I had the right place. Might be good to get the name and location right. My tech didnt speak English. He moreso grunted and pointed. It was ok. I was happy to not have to talk and just relax. He did a good job. Myeg and pedicure pack.. I was a little annoyed he forced me into the higher package by giving thumbs up despite me pointing to lower package he decided on his own to do next package .the hot stone one. I still liked it well and happy I did it .but it wasnt what I. Picked. Others probably would have questioned it at payment time. My service also was not what was listed on their package it was significantly higher. I did gel polish and did manicure.. supposed to be 78 plus 15$ think. Anyway I was just happy after a year in the hospital to get self care and still tipped 25% not included in what I stated I spent. I would not necessarily drive back here for care but was in the area for an appointment and will go again if in the area again. Hot towel and stone massage in pedicure divine

Bex Zarem I have been going here for many months, now. Eric does my nails, and is never afraid of a challenge in the art department. He is very creative. Lisa gives really fantastic pedicures. My farm feet look clean and fancy, and theyre so soft! The shop is in a great location, right off the highway, at Fruitville. Its clean and bright, and the whole staff are really nice, and have a great sense of humor. I always look forward to getting my nails done here. The price is also amazing for the attention to detail provided.

Stephanie Reed I was in town for a visit so noticed this business was in the area we would be for the day. I called and they fit me in for 2 pedicures within a couple hours. The massage I received almost made me fall asleep! I think they did cut my toenail a little too short and it started to become ingrown (reason for a 4). They offered drinks, no choices for pedicures though, which is unusual. The business had a couple regulars in while we were there and it was obvious they had been coming for years.

Suzie Haberman I had a less than pleasurable experience getting a no chip manicure here. The gentleman doing my nails used his own bare thumb nail to clean up around my nail beds which really grossed me out. The finished product looked OK -- I was just felt dirty after leaving here and wished the technician wore proper gloves and used tools to clean around my nail instead.

Christan Lanigan I stumbled upon this place on the 4th of July when everywhere else was closed and I’m so glad I did! This is hands down the best nail place that I have found in Sarasota. The staff are very friendly and always go above and beyond to meet your needs. I had stopped getting designs at other salons because I would often leave disappointed. But I decided to give it another shot with somewhere new. Since I love Halloween I got some designs for spooky szn. My nails turned out so cute! Howie did a great job! (:

Dezarae Schartiger Chole is absolutely amazing, so kind and caring. She has the sweetest spirit about her and immense pride in her work. She is gentle and does not ever cut your skin on your fingers like most places. My nails look great couldn’t be happier.

Jules Walters I love this salon! Everyone is extremely friendly, it is very clean, and they have a huge selection of services and products! Linda does my nails and she does a WONDERFUL job! They are always smooth and beautiful! Also, they stay on and last until my next appointment for a fill (probably longer if I needed them to!). Anyone who gets acrylic nails knows that having them be strong enough to last is an issue at other places, but the work Linda does is fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend this salon!

L. Rose-Harman Service is excellent and staff do great work. Always happy with manicure and pedicure. When you walk in staff are happy and kind and glad to see you. Highly recommend this Salon. Very clean.

Amy Carr Debra is a great nail tech but also a really nice and fun person. My daughter went for a pedicure and Debra made us both feel very comfortable! Lots of information about what she was doing and what to do at home to keep your nails looking nice. I was very impressed. She even was able to work is in on short notice.

I came to Sarasota from Chicago to visit my son and to get some sUn!! My winter boot feet needed some drastic attention before hitting the beach. The Nail Room was exactly the right place to go. The nail room is Fun! Relaxing!! Pleasant!! And so is Debra!! I highly recommend you get the hot stones with your pedicure. Amazing! Thanks, Debra, for a wonderful pedicure experience. Might toes looked great long, long after returning to the cold north. GO SEE DEBRA! Your feet will thank you.

Since I am out of town and wanted to pay for the pedicure, Debra made the entire process for me seamless, perfect and incredibly easy. sonia schechter I love getting my nails done by Deborah. Shes a top notch nail technician, super clean and hygienic, and hilarious. Her pedicures are perfect and last for weeks. Plus, I always get a good laugh while Im visiting with her. Ive been going to Deborah for almost 4 years and wont go anywhere else. Its fun, relaxing and always an experience to remember.

Alicia Digou This was the most relaxing nail experience Ive ever had. Debra is so detailed, making sure to explain every product used and every step of the process. I got a manicure and pedicure. The hot stone massage was a favorite of mine. She also uses the scent of scrub for your hands and feet as you request. As she does your nails, she explains how to self care for your nails between appointments. I definitely recommend her for all your nail needs.

Melissa Quinones Absolutely love this place, I’m very particular about people doing my nails and coming from Jersey I couldn’t find any place that treated my nails as kind as up east until I found this location, they don’t destroy your nails when you choose to do gel color compare to other nail salons I’ve tried around here. They are always the sweetest and never mess around when it comes to your appt. I also love there peaceful music and videos they play. Truly a moment of tranquility from my very busy life. Super grateful I found this place and this will remain my go to spot! 10/10 recommend this location!

Karen Jernigan The guy is an absolute jerk! No one here and he’s saying he has no availability. He says they are fully booked until 7pm. He’s on his phone and literally sitting there. Don’t come here - worst nail salon in SRQ! Horrible customer service.

Elena Golovey We are vacationing with my family & decided to go out to get our nails done with my sisters. This nail spa was near us so we decided to give it a shot. The pricing was good expect you have to pay more if you want another shape other than square. We booked an appointment within 30 minutes of coming. Yuki did my nails and she was very sweet to talk to. The only thing is they don’t have a really good selection of colors. Overall, it was a good pick, I got exactly what I wanted.

Ashlyn Falahee I have been going to Show Nail and Spa for about 2 Years now. Every single staff member is incredible at what they do! I set appointments with Grace because she has shown time and time again that she is THE BEST in Sarasota. She takes her time, is patient, and makes you feel very special! This is the ONLY nail salon I go to because they are so great. I get dip powder and my nails stay on for a MINIMUM of 3 weeks; no cracks! I highly recommend this studio and their staff!

I was very impressed by (Nancy) who did my pedicure. She was very informative as I had some nail issues. She was very professional. The nail technician (Jay) did my manicure. Dakotah Heidig Tina was amazing! She was so sweet and very meticulous. 10/10 manicure, my nails look fabulous. I could tell she genuinely cared about keeping my nails healthy and took her time without cutting corners. It’s rare to find a nail artist who is as detail oriented. I also love that this is a family owned business. You can see how much effort they put into taking care of their clients and ensuring everyone leaves happy. I highly recommend this salon to anyone!

Dawn Dennis Beautiful shaping and polishing of my toenails by Milan. I am always a walk-in and I never get turned away at this Nail Salon. The salon is clean and decorated in a modern style. One of the TV screens displays relaxing images of coastal locations and relaxing instrumental music plays on a top notch sound system. I feel relaxed and welcome at Lucky Nails.
