Pascale Spears I saw Skyler, nail tech yesterday based on a recommendation from a friend. Skyler did a wonderful job on my manicure. She is a great listener. I brought a photo of what I wanted and we discussed a few options. She did a thorough job and insured that I was pleased before I left. Looking forward to going back in a few weeks. The salon is nice and was fun to chat with owner and other client.

Maddie Barron Suellen was very sweet and my hair turned out wonderful!

Rhonda Fernandez New to town and needed a "hair miracle". Suellen did an amazing job on my hair. Walked in as a train wreck and walked out with beautiful color. Angie & Suellen are upfront and honest about what can be done (rarity to find a salon that actually tells you what is feasible instead of just wanting to take your money). Looking forward to a long relationship with these amazing stylists! Highly recommend!

Craig Key Booked online through her website and acted like I was crazy when I showed up for my appointment. Angela won’t except the fact that you can book men’s haircuts on her website waited in town for two hours for my appointment to find out that she doesn’t even use the online booking so don’t waste your time with that.

Pam Mangan I have been going to Gel Nails for about two years and I go every two weeks because I’m particular about my nails. The salon is extremely clean. I see John and I have also seen Ben. They are meticulous, patient, don’t rush, like so many other salons, are very professional and also very personable. They care, and their work shows it! I have only wonderful things to say about Gel Nails.

Pamela Haskins UPDATE: Fancy Nails is as good as ever. I wont trust my nails to any one else. ORIGINAL: Its like being with family! Chris and Krista are absolutely wonderful. Ive been a customer for many years and have always been pleased with my nails. They also do waxing. They are there Tuesday through Saturday but you must make an appointment. Give them a try - you wont be disappointed and their prices are super reasonable.

Val Not friendly at all, called because my friend recommended who comes here all the time, when I called they said they gave a senior discount. Didnt get discount, and were very cold. To busy talking amongst themselves and with other client, rude in my opinion.

Spoiled Paws Latham Not worth waiting a month for an appointment and definitely not worth my time. In and out in 31 mins polish and all for a $35 deluxe pedicure. Didnt push my cuticles back or really get my bottoms done I guess I got a 35 polish job. The message was less than 2 mins for both feet ..Im sorry this as got to be the worse pedicure in my life . Came home and finished my own . Never even turn the chairs on they spent the entire pedicure talking amongst themselves. Im giving them 1 star but really wouldnt give any.. save your money find somewhere else

Andy Bryan This is a GREAT LOCALLY OWNED hardware and building materials store. The store is ALWAYS clean, neat and well stocked. Their staff is always eager to assist you with your purchases. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. You immediately feel welcomed and appreciated. They have a huge variety of merchandise from Paint to plumbing, electrical, guns and ammo. They even have a small selection of RV supplies for folks that may be traveling through the area. They can also now make coded keys for most vehicles. Stop by and check them out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Liles Ace Hardware for all of your home needs.

Wendy Smith I noticed the clerk at the register was friendly and helpful to other customers which is what I’ve become used to at Ace Hardware stores. As a matter of fact, he was so chatty with the woman checking out in front of me, that he didn’t mind holding up me and the others in line. it was pretty obvious that he knew her, finally she had to get going and it was my turn to check out. not a word said to me, I was checked out, was not offered a bag for my purchase, I didn’t have a chance to give him my rewards number… Obviously I was not a familiar face in the store so I was treated differently. As I was leaving I heard him greet the person behind me in line. I’m staying at a campground in Old Town, I had a choice of driving to this Ace Hardware in Cross City or driving to the Ace Hardware in Trenton. I selected Cross City, next time I will select Trenton.

Julie Sautner I have been going to sun city nails for a year now after moving to Clermont and struggling to find a salon with nail techs who don’t rush and pay attention to quality and detail. Look no further! Tiffany is who does my nails and she is outstanding. She is quick and her work is impeccable. If bring a picture, I walk out with exactly what I asked for. Anna who sits next to Tiffany is also fantastic and does beautiful work. Both she and Tiffany do amazing designs. The owner of this salon is very friendly and is around the salon often chatting with guests and pitching in. You can tell he runs a good business as the employees are happy. Selfishly, I want to keep this place a secret, but I can’t gatekeep such a great local business!

Amanda Mohamed The guy who did my nails was nice bur I do think he needs more training. I went in for a refill overlay with gel. Several times was I burned with the dreamel. My nails underneath were destroyed from them being too thick and him dremaling under my nail. All the nails were thick. When I mentioned I wanted natural nails. All my nails are different shapes & thickness. I just wanted nice nails for my baby shower this weekend & it was the only time I could go without my son. Just disappointed.

Jordan Cherry So happy I went here for my birthday! I barely write reviews but this nail salon is wonderful. Quinn did my nails beautifully and was super nice to me. The nail technician, Jenny, was able to accommodate my request for a specific design and stayed late to ensure my nails were perfect. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and talent displayed by Jenny. I will definitely be back! Oh and just to mention it was my birthday and I didn’t have an appointment but they gave me the best birthday nails ever!!!

Renee McConnaughey I have been going to this location for over a year now. From the minute you come through their door they welcome you and take care of your needs ASAP. I get compliments all the time about my nails. They do exceptional work and I always refer them. You wont be disappointed!

Christine Koester I recently moved to the area. I have been going to the same lady in SFL, where Im from, for 5 years. The point is Im not new to receiving this service. I tried this new salon (I cant travel to SFL every 3 weeks), and the outcome was not up to the standard Im used to, but I decided to go back and try again. The gentleman that provided the service ( acrylic refill with gel polish, nothing fancy) did an awful job. I asked him to remove the old acrylic, and he only removed it from one nail, tried to upsale a tip on my nail, and then charged me $5 extra for placing new acrylic on one nail. I asked to have my nails cut down, and he filed one hand and not the other. At the end of all of it, I have crooked uneven nails for $50. I do not recommend this salon, and although it is conveniently located to my residence, I will not go back for any service there. I would suggest finding a salon that takes pride in their work and does not nickle and dime you.

Christina McNeal The one in Old Town is my all time favorite. Great people, great customer service, kindness all around. Will continue to go back and take as many people as I can with me. They definitely deserve the business.

Stephanie Cypher Ive been coming here for over a year and the service is EXCELLENT! They just remodeled and replaced some staff......all for the better. Miss Lily does my nails perfectly every visit. Pedicures are awesome too. Worth it, highly recommend!

Valerie Hill We had eaten here several years ago, and it was so so, but we had a few friends say we needed to give it another try, so we did. We both had the buffet. They do have off the menu items also. On the buffet, they had fried chicken, fried ribs, and meatloaf. Plus mac and cheese, corn, mash potatoes and gravy, greens, and a cheesy broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower dish. They have a very very small salad option. And dessert was either fried donut holes or chocolate pudding. It seems like a lot of locals eat here,which usually means good food,and some of the wait staff seemed like a dysfunctional family, very noisy. The meatloaf was okay, I liked the sauce on top, sweet and tangy. The fried chicken I loved the light crispy skin, but the chicken was dry. I really dont like giving low ratings, and I really tried to find something I liked, but I have to be honest I didnt.

Halie Pullen We stopped here on a road trip down Highway 19 from Tallahassee to Weeki Wachi, and ended up loving it. We were actually surprised to find an old school southern buffet, and even more surprised at how delicious it was. I had salad, a great lunch plate, and dessert, and was so full and happy. Also, there are tons of options on the buffet for little ones. Three years old and under are free, so my 3yo was covered. I just happened to mention that my tiny 7yo would eat the same amount as the 3yo, and without even saying anything, our waitress let her eat for free as well! We would absolutely stop here again if were ever in the area. I actually texted my dad while we were still there eating, with the pin on the map and a pic of the food, because he travels a lot for work and I knew hed love to check it out!

Forest Wood Its a Sunday just after church let out, and theres a buffet, or you can order off the menu. Even though it was busy, we got seated right away, and the waitress brought us our sweet tea quickly. We decided to eat off the menu simply because we really werent hungry enough to do a buffet. I had the BLT with fries, and my wife had a full order of sausage gravy & biscuits with eggs over medium. The BLT had plenty of bacon, fresh, and crisp lettuce and juicy, flavorful tomato slice. Not normally and fan of crinkle cut fries, these were cooked to perfection - crisp but not too crisp. My wife is in love with the gravy here! Her eggs were perfect - runny yolks and firm whites. All over a bed of delicious biscuits. Excellent food & and service. The restaurant is full of people who are looking for good food and good company to share with. Always a good sign!

PCFrog The (PCFROG) The food was not bad at all. Steak and eggs was done as requested. Onion rings were cooked well and fresh. Service was prompt. The floor in this establishment needs to be removed and replaced. You should serious really considered just having a sealed cement floor for easy cleaning.

Jen Tippett Ive only seen Gabbi at this location, but everyone is so nice. Its a very peaceful, chill vibe thats perfect for relaxing and getting pampered. Gabbi has been my nail tech for YEARS and I actually followed her to this location when she left her last one. Shes been doing incredible nail art for me every 2-3 weeks, really stepping it up if Im on my way to Disney or New Orleans or I have another event. The owners are also super sweet and helpful, and I know they treat their employees very well, which is very important to me, especially in the nail industry where a lot of techs are taken advantage of and exploited. I actually graduated nail tech school last month, and I couldnt have done it without Gabbis encouragement and support. Im going to continue coming to her even if I can do my own nails, and Im always quick to send clients to her when they comment on my nail art.

Gisell Gonzalez I had my nails done by Gaby and the next day they were pealing both hands and feet, I was cool stopped by to have it fixed she said can you come back at 4pm I said yes still cool I got to her place at 4:16 pm as I was stuck waiting on the bridge to go down and she didn’t care to know why I was 16 min past 4pm she got up from doing nothing to tell me I can’t fix it you are late lol as if this was my fault I shouldn’t have to be here the next day if you did your dam job. Is obvious the dam gel underneath wasn’t dry before adding more polish. I told this person I’m going away for the weekend reason why I had it done Thursday and here I am Friday at 4:30 pm looking for a new place and spending more money. Karma!!! Just got my nails done again had to pay again but glad this all happened I found the best place Polish Nail & Spa on US 1. I’m adding pictures from my new nail spot. I never had an appointment I was a walk in and regardless this is unacceptable I don’t need a two day event to get a polish change and I paid $60 not $25 that your company refunded as if it was only my hands Hello!!! My toes were also trash… you can lie all you want for reviews my photos speak for themselves. I ADDED A PHOTO JUST NOW a month later and my nails from Polish Nail & Spa are still intact that’s what great work looks like.

Christina Miller Rude! Nails shaped all funky and super thin and polish not even! Cost $100 for a fill and 2 big toe acrylics. Never again. So disappointed. They were suppose to be hot pink not orange and scared not some round some half squared and the other whatever. Now I have to pay to have them repainted and shaped.

She takes her time to ensure the manicure is beyond perfect! Same with pedicures. It is such a joy going to get my nails done by Vaneska. I’ve also seen Jess’ work because she sits next to Vaneska and it’s implecable as well. Magri does amazing manicures as well but her facials are out of this WORLD! Naixa Brignoni Danny did such an excellent job on my nails. It’s exactly how I wanted it. And he even suggested a nice design and I couldn’t say no. I’m glad I didn’t refuse as it looked amazing the golden flakes with the Bloody Mary red the perfect touch. It’s a relaxing place. Everything looks clean and organized. Without a doubt, I’ll come back and be a new regular here. Also, Eva was super great doing my pedicure and eyebrows super happy with the results.

Zara Toundas Been going here for years. Nails look pretty alright, just thick. Theres never a wait which is nice, my only problem is that it always takes 2+ hours for just a manicure. When you leave your hands haven’t been washed or have any lotion and there’s crustys from the acetone bath (see pics) This manicure cost me $55 plus tip… You forfeit quality for convenience unfortunately. Makes me sad to leave this review bc the techs are nice!

Steven Smith They get their brand of wheat bread on Saturday and on Sunday morning theyre out. Why cant they put in more wheat? It seems to sell a lot better and faster than the white bread. They give the white bread three times as much room as the wheat bread. Try reversing them.

my name is nobody I was traveling home from vacation with my family and the car broke down in front of their business. The staff were so kind to let us sit inside and use their restroom for 7 hours until the tow truck arrived. Thank you so much Cheeks Drugstore, I will never forget your generosity!!!!

Diane Keen I have lived in Dixie my whole life (1984)and have been using services at cheeks as long as I can remember. I personally have never had an issue with them aside from my personal discontent with the choice to incorporate hunting and fishing supplies in a pharmacy. However the reason I am only giving two stars is because after reading the responses to other customers reviews I am highly disappointed and disheartened by the cold and unnecessary reactions from the apparent owner. This is supposed to be a hometown pharmacy supporting local residents and I don’t think that making comments about what people can or can’t afford when expressing their opinion on prices or publicly and sarcastically commenting that one reviewer is the spouse of another therefore apparently their opinion and review is somehow unimportant are in ANY way an acceptable response to address and react to customers and members of our community! Even if they have a difference of opinion I believe any reputable establishment should still respond with understanding, empathy, and grace! If it’s not even a thought to respond in a better manner in a public setting such as this it really makes me wonder what treatment customers must experience in person where no one else can bear witness?!

Heather Mayton We were in the middle of a 5 hour drive and just needed a tire...It took 20 minutes for the owner to take his feet off his desk and look at the tire. Then, he tells us to go to a junk yard (on a donut) to get a tire and bring it back so he can put it on. Terrible experience...we found the closest Walmart tire center and went there instead.

Flipside Gaming My experience with crosscity auto has not been good, place is a scam and full of thieves, they worked on my engine knowing it was totaled, charged me 2k. When I got the vehicle back my gear shift knob was stolen and my belongings. Please stay clear of this business, save yourself and your wallet!!!

Isaway Very nice folks and good prices. Pulled in with a low tire a little before closing time (5PM). Not only were they happy to fix my tire right away but they also changed 2 tires I had with me for my Kawasaki Mule. I will be using them again.

Larry Beal Replaced what he thought was wrong wanted $168.00 and said the motor mounts are bad, called him and he got mad and told me that I don’t owe he and don’t bring nothing back because he didn’t’ need my business. I have only been here a year and John at Cross City Auto was rude and uncaring… HELL OF A WAY TO DO BUSINESS By the way I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, so guessing the computer didn’t work… Doesn’t know what’s wrong with it!!!!!!

Laurye Messer We found a nail in our tire while on a trip. We took our car to Cross City Auto & Tire and they fixed it in less than 15 minutes! Not only did they do a great job, but their price was very reasonable and they were some of the nicest people we’ve met! I highly recommend Cross City Auto & Tire. If we lived nearby, we’d be a regular customer!

Kayla Moody Quality was amazing. We were in town for a wedding and I showed up with a group of 4 as walk ins. They got us all seated together and pampered us while we visited. I have absolutely no complaints as to the job they did or the level of professionalism they showed. Absolutely recommend!!!

Madison Poland very sweet people. the older guy kind of sucks on massaging your legs, he doesn’t even take 15 seconds to massage one foot. he throws the lotion on and barely rubs it in. some of my toes are missing paint from him rushing. he didn’t even cover half of my nails. the nail polish looks like poop. if i come back i will definitely ask for the girl. i felt very rushed and didn’t like it.

Claudette Ryals Sped through the entire service kept trying to give me and my daughter gel polish even though I said repeatedly we did not want gel polish My nails are crooked theres overflow there is part miss parts missing where they didnt fill in properly and there are cuts on three fingers, plexiglass in front of my face was covered in dirt and grime and kiss marks overall they were nice but the service absolutely sucked. My daughters polish literally wasnt even dry before they were asking me to pay didnt even finish my service before they asked me to pay and out the door literally she rubbed her itch the palm of her hand and rubbed off an entire nail polish it was not even dry.

zoe i called to make sure they offer soak off , he quickly said yes and told me to come in , i came in a good 30 minutes late and he quickly turned me around and told me no . very very very uncomfortable and unprofessional

Kristi Anne worst manicure i’ve ever had. took 10 mins total, i asked for dip and got gel polish. all nails were different shapes. all were on my cuticles. all were not fully painted. and when i went in to get them taken off and ask for a refund she says “it’s not my fault you don’t like them” she used the drill on my skin several times and left my hands looking a mess. never again. never. again.
