Joann Barry Yahaira was an excellent MA who was very knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly. She was also concerned with my medical condition.

Levette Rucks Labor and delivery nurses on night shift are horrible. They told my sister in law, who was in active labor, to be quiet and not be loud. Who tells a woman delivering a child to be quiet? They told her to not deliver the baby until the doctor arrived, which later caused my niece to see a specialist because her head was uneven due to “holding the baby in” in the birth canal per your labor and delivery nursing staff. Do better! Hire better nurses that are equipped to handle women giving birth because your night shift is lacking knowledge, kindness, and much more.

Janet Douglass Was less than satisfied because doctor only spent barely 2 minutes with me. I was recovering from covid but person who called me the day before told me to come in anyway. Doctor did not come near me, no heart or lung check, especially after my blood pressure was elevated. She just ordered more meds and said my tests were ok.

Lori Bollman Dr H Henry is a fantastic surgeon who took amazing care with pre surgery prep! The hospital staff at the Med Complex were so caring! I woke in bad pain and they worked so hard and fast to get it down. Great place and experience !

Ava Overstreet Yes, I went there to get the Doctor to adjust my blood pressure medicine because what I was taking was not doing the job. I specifically told him that that was what I was there for.. I left the office with the same medication that I have been taking, which is not lowered my blood pressure. He give me nothing to regulate my high blood pressure nor to change any of my medication. He did order a blood test. other than that, its all I know that he did. It was hard to understand him and he may be a very good doctor, but Im not sure as I come out of the office with nothing different in regard to my blood pressure or why it might be running high all the time. The only thing I got from from his office is that I need to have a blood test, which I hopefully got scheduled, but Im not real happy with my results as I know no more than I did and still having blood pressure issues I had three doctors come in to the examining room. What for I dont know and I have no clue what my insurance was paying on this, but Im sure it was a lot and I come out knowing no more than I did when I went in. Needless to say, I am not happy about the outcome Also, they notified me of a lab test. It didnt say whether I was too fast or not. Not sure what kind of blood testing ordered, but it looks to me like they shouldve told me I need to fast or not fast Am I happy with the outcome? No, I am not..

Gladys Luebke I had to visit the ER last night and it was an amazing experience. I was in and out in under two hours with imaging and lab work being done. Dr. Shaw was so kind and informative. Vanessa is an amazing nurse who ensured I was kept updated on what was happening and what to expect. Samantha the extern was so gentle and talented with starting my IV. Everything was perfect. Everyone was kind and helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you Highlands for exceeding my expectations!

Victoria Roddel Geoff, RN was the person caring for me during this outpatient visit. He was patient, careful, paid attention to detail, and always had a compassionate smile. He was very comforting and knew his business. Mike was the technician. He handled his duties expertly and efficiently with a friendly face. Jordy was very efficient registering me with a smile. Jennifer was very attentive as she got me from point a to b without a hitch or dilly dallying but did get me there with pleasant and relevant conversation. Everyone at HCA knows their respective specialties and performs well.

Greg Guido Given the situation. It was a somewhat pleasant experience with them. Fell and broke my leg. And the Sebring hospital was not able to accommodate the severity and was sent to lawnwood location. Everyone I encountered was friendly and polite. Still have more surgeries ahead. But they were responsive and bed side mannors were pleasing. Costs. Well that’s our corrupt government for you. Thank you to the girls who delt with me for a couple days. I’ll be back soon.

Robert Horrible hospital. If you have no visitors to take care of you, you are on your own. You call, get transferred and phones ring off the hook. My 87yo husband with severe dementia is there since yesterday. No one taking care of him. I just had surgery on my right ankle and can not drive. I need to call Uber cause he needs to be well taken care of. This is not the first time he gets ignored in this hospital. This is the third time. Stay far away. Go to Advent in Lake Placid.

Denise Deanne I walked through the doors of the emergency room and I saw a very clean hospital, met right away by a nurse to take my information, in to an area to ses a Doctor in 15 minutes, I was in so much pain it made me feel happy to be there. The nurse came immediately and the Dr right after, I commend the entire Hospital staff as well as the persons in charge , you have no idea of the conditions of the other hospitals in the area, 5 hour waits, not organized, a picture could only describe it accurately. Glad I drove further last night.
